Problems with masks after sending sequence back from SpeedGrade to Premiere (CC)

Hello,
I'm colour grading a clip in SpeedGrade CC using the new direct link function. For the colour grading I used different layers and also masks. Once I'm done I sent my sequence back to Premiere Pro CC.
I see, Premiere shows me exactly the colour correction I did in SpeedGrade except of one thing:
The places where I used masks in SpeedGrade to light them for instance a bit up are now full of pixeled lines...
I thought it's just a problem with the Preview, so I exported it. The pixeled lines stayed.
Again: In SpeedGrade is everything fine, but when I'm sending the sequence back to Premiere there are these pixels.
It's really irritating because one day before it worked very good without any problems and I was practically doing the same as now.
Please help me, if you can! Thank You!

Thank you but my masks are not animated. Premiere just can't reflect the colour correction I did for these masks. Here's an example...on the right edge I created a mask in SpeedGrade. And that's what Premiere is showing me when I send the sequence back from SpeedGrade to it:

Problems with graphics after Boot Camp upgrade (from 3.1 to 3.2)

Right, today I upgraded Boot Camp (the first time I used iTunes on Windows so thats way I never did the upgrade before) from 3.1 to 3.2 and after the installation my screen went blank/black. After restarting iMac it the screen appeared but in 1024x768 resolution and without working graphic drivers.
I tried many different options to update the ATI HD 4850 driver, but none of them worked. It always says that there is some problem with it, but it also is up to date every time I try to update it manually for the drivers which comes with 10.12 Catalyst.
I spend several hours trying to solve it, but I just can't and I really don't know what to do next.

Right, I managed to fix it by updating the software manually, but selecting to choose from the list and I had to install the mobility drivers.

Problems with storage after failure of restore from TM back up.

Okay, so I've become so frustrated over this that I've decided to see what is the issue. After a horrible incident where I inadvertedly removed the OS start up disk (I unsuccessfully installed Windows 8 without the proper drivers...long story really), etc I was forced to restore my hard drive back to stock through the Genius bar. They recommended that I restore my files with using "Users" from Time Machine because I had backed up everything. Unfortunately, the two times I've tried to restore from backup, it would always stop at 52% (I had about ~250gb to restore) so I just stopped trying and if I needed any files, I would manually transfer them. Anyway, my issue is that I just recently noticed (a month after trying to restore) that I have about ~200gb in my "other" category. In theory, that shouldn't be the case because there is barely anything on my computer. Barely. I've looked at so many websites and so far, no idea... Any ideas? Should I just wipe my hard drive clean again?...because this is getting ridiculous. Thanks in advance.

First, empty the Trash if you haven't already done so.
To locate large files, you can use Spotlight. That method may not find large folders that contain a lot of small files.
You can more effectively use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper (ODS) to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. You can also delete files with it, but don't do that unless you're sure that you know what you're deleting and that all data is safely backed up. That means you have multiple backups, not just one.
Proceed further only if the problem isn't solved by the above steps.
ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To see everything, you have to run it as root.
Back up all data now.
Install ODS in the Applications folder as usual. Quit it if it's running.
Triple-click the line of text below to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
The application window will open, eventually showing all files in all folders. It may take some minutes for ODS to list all the files.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of doing this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. If something needs to be deleted, make sure you know what it is and how it got there, and then delete it by other, safer, means. When in doubt, leave it alone or ask for guidance.
When you're done with ODS, quit it and also quit Terminal.

Getting a Sequence back from an S-P with typed DataSet problem

Hi,
I know there are loads of topics about sequences on this forum, but I can't seem to find this exact issue amongst them.
As a learning exercise, I've created a typed dataset based on the HR sample database tables Departments and Employees (through the use of the hack to get an OracleDataAdapter to generate typed datasets).
I currently have a problem with retrieving the new sequence value from the 'Insert_Department' stored procedure I've written, and the best thing I can figure is that there is a clash occurring between the type and size of the sequence and the size of the department_id column (number(4) - which maps in .Net to an int16).
The exception I get on running the dataAdapter.Update() method is:
Unable to cast object of type 'Oracle.DataAccess.Types.OracleDecimal' to type 'System.IConvertible'. Couldn't store <330> in DEPARTMENT_ID Column. Expected type is Int16
The record does get inserted into the database ok - therefore I infer that this is a problem with the handling of the return value back to the DepartmentsDataSet column.
My stored procedure is as follows:

I've tried lots of different things here; I started declaring the parameter as a NUMBER, now it's set to a %TYPE on the column as you can see... and I've also tried assigning the NEXTVAL to a NUMBER(4) local variable before assigning it to the OUT parameter.
Here's the C# that configures the insert command:

The key line is the adding of the "new_department_id" line where I have tried many different types in the vain hope that I can somehow override the conversion process to not think it needs to go as large as a Decimal type.
I wonder if anyone could help point me towards the (probably obvious) thing that I am missing? I've run out of ideas on things to try!

However, this and the related link you posted raise a question: Given that (in the case of Decimal types) whichever of the DbType or OracleDbType property you set, the other value is set to Decimal also... what setting in the OracleParameter records which was the 'set' property, and therefore, which type will the Value be set to?
In other words, does anything visibly change in the debugger view of the OracleParameter type to see this?

I'm having problems with itunes after updating. I've lost all my playlists,,finally played around with it and got the songs back but some have an exclamation point beside them and can't be located. they are songs i've purchased. I'm not very computer literate so this is a major problem. I have spent hours with this. I just want all my songs to play even though I'm not happy that I have to recreate my playlists. It would be so much easier if I knew and understood how to correct this. Has anyone else had this problem and if so..is there an easy way to correct it?

I receive a pop-up from ICal saying the server does not recognize my user name and password for my me.com email address. This started yesterday and occurs about every 5 minutes or so. There are no problems with receiving or sending email through Mail. I did change me email password several days ago but have no problems sending/receiving since then.

I fixed the problem. I opened Preferences in ICal and entered my new password. No more pop-ups

Here is the whole story. I recently moved to iMac 10.5.6 from PowerPc 10.4. On this new machine I was having problem running a 3rd party application, which requires JVM. As this application worked well on Tiger, I decided to upgrade JVM on my iMAC using Software Upgrade(was I insane!!). As I like my systems to be updated (as with linux on my personal machine) I clicked "install all". As a result I have the following upgrades run on my machine:

In the wake of this java problem I resorted to keep working on my old machine, and today in my spare time I tried to fix this new machine.
So I execute $java on prompt, and then try to check the files it has opened, using lsof -p pid
I see it referring to
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home/bin/java
isn't this usually the JAVA_HOME
However, executing $/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home/bin/java
hangs!!
but
$/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home/bin/java
works!!
$ pwd
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home/bin
$ ./java -version
java version "1.6.0_07"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_07-b06-153)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 1.6.0_07-b06-57, mixed mode)

I got the following

There is no /Home in here, which is usually the case for /1.5 or /1.6
Anyways, things seems to work for the moment. Lets see if I get problem with using Java.

Problems with Mail after upgrading to 10.9.1

I am running into problems with Mail after installing 10.9.1. I had NO problems with Mail prior to this update.
Problems I have encountered so far are:
- I don't receive some e-mails on my Gmail account.
- I have sent e-mails that supposedly got "sent" but do not show up in my Sent box both on mail and on web Gmail. My Outbox is empty also.
Has anyone encountered the same problems and found a solution?

Yes Paul I have, but no solution. I cannot send email. My ISP uses a smtp mail server for sending and It will not log in. Have had ISP on phone and checked all settings. Can only put it down to Mavericks.
It worked OK for a week after upgrading then stopped. So now having to use web mail to send email.
Strange thing is I receive mail OK, just cant send.

Problem with screen after update

I have a BB Passport and I have a problem after the last software update OS 10.3.1.1565
- the screen is flashing when i go into an application... This happens randomly... not every time. First I had this problem with Evernote. I erased everything from my phone and I performed a full wipe (factory reset). The problem is not solved. now is happening more often... when I go to settings, when I open an app... and so on. Usualy is flashing white screen, but last night when I wanted to watch a video, it flashed green screen...
Is there a way to solve this problem? Is this a software problem? Or I have to replace my screen?

Perform a hard reboot
Hold down the Home button and Power button on your iPhone or iPad and keep holding them until you see the Apple logo. Once you do, you can let go. When your device boots back up, go ahead and check to see if the apps have started re-downloading. If they still appear to be stuck, continue on.

Problem with Masked Buttons

As it stands i have a button called Start, when this button is hovered over, three more buttons appear at its side (all masked)
I'm having trouble actionscripting the buttons, ive tried putting the AS on the button

seen as everything so far is done on the first frame on various layers i just need it to go to frame 2. but this doesn't work.
the code that's on the start button is

Start menu is the invisible movieclip which has the masks and rollout buttons in.

start button does overlay the other buttons and it is on the main timeline. as is the movieclip which activated the 3 buttons when the start button is rolled over with the mouse.
