Problems with resetting my iPhone 5 (iOS 7.1.2)

Good afternoon,
I just updated my account regarding a new e-mail address, a new password, new security questions etc.
After that, I wanted to reset my iPhone 5. I tried resetting it directly on my phone which did not work out because in the end, you need to type your passwort but unfortunately, it still showed my old e-mail address and it would not accept neither my old nor my new password.
So I connected my iPhone to iTunes and tried resetting it on my computer. This was not possible as I connected my iPhone to "FindMyiPhone" (Or whatever it is called in English ;-)). So I logged in on www.icloud.com and tried to delete my iPhone. I think, this is where I messed up badly.
Right now, my iPhone shows the "I have lost this iPhone, please call me xxx" and it seems impossible to set it up.
iTunes says it is not possible to connect to my iPhone as the SIM card is locked.
I have absolutely no idea what to do anymore.
It would be very nice if someone could help me here.....

I had the exact same problem for the last two days. I deleted my account on my iPhone, but it would still say the user/password were incorrect and the server connection failed when trying to add it back. I tried to log on through the browser but I would get the same error message. I clicked on "I forgot my password" and reset it to the exact same password I already had. This allowed me into my email. I was then able to successfully add the email account back to my phone.

      If I have the tree  Bookmarks>FolderA>FolderB>FolderC>FolderD  then  Bookmarks>FolderD appears too (and not with all the bookmarks that must contain).  It seems that the bookmarks in iCloud are stored incorrectly from the past (perhaps the tree was too deep) and all I can do is copy them to the iphone.  How can I replace the incorrect bookmarks stored in iCloud (not copying from iCloud to the phone)?
      And the bookmarks in  Bookmarks>FolderA>FolderB>FolderC>FolderD  appear disordered (and some of them, into another forlders!).  Why the bookmarks are disordered when I switch bookmarks on?

    Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings if your having a problem with your network. If you have another problem go to the same place in "Reset" and just reset all settings

    Take it back to the Apple store.  You can't activate it without the correct ID and password.  This can't be disabled.  Either get a replacement or get your money back.

    Of course other people have had problems. However, just knowing that other people have had some vague, undefined "network problems" most likely isn't going to be very useful. You'll get more and better help if you can give some details about your specific problem. Include who your carrier is, what country you're in. Then describe the exact nature of the problem. Then, maybe someone will be able to give good suggestions.
    And, by the way, the free bumper program ended some time ago. It also was only a "solution" for one of many possible problems.

    Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

    simply try doing a back up and restore
    when going thru the activation screen, select SET UP AS NEW and then test your device. if it is not shutting down then it could be 1 or more apps tht have been downloaded wch could be affecting the device
    you will then need to follow the process of eleimnation, meaning add 2 apps and then monitor your phone, if nothing happes then add another couple of them and then check
