You realize that the OP is asking about YouTube videos and 10.10.1 system. The topic is 6 months old.
Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and reinstall the system.

Has anyone had problems with the latest Lexmark printer driver update? My Lexmark printers won't work with the latest driver update. If I reinstall an older version of the drivers, they work.

After installing the latest updates to Snow Leopard the system hangs up and will not open properly. This is the update to Java, etc after the virus was discovered. I have done the updates on four different systems with the same result.
No problems with the Java update here, although I have Java disabled. Might try reapplying the Java standalone while in Safe Boot (Shift at startup chime), if you did it from Software Update.

Is there a problem with the latest iTunes update?
After getting the most recent iTunes update my iPhone is no longer recognized by iTunes. When its connected to my computer it charges but you can't see it on iTunes and none of the content can be accessed. I've never had this problem before, and it doesn't happen on my other computer with an older version of iTunes. I've gone through the troubleshooting suggestions for this on the Apple site but nothing seems to work. Is there a problem with the new update? And will it be getting fixed soon?

Anyone else having problem with the latest JAVA update?
I'm not sure if it comes from Apple this or flip4mac. But anyway it said the other day, we think you should have this update it will make things work better. So I thought, what the heck, I might as well. Only, since I've installed the update I've have nothing but problems with the online games at yahoo. Keep getting stale pages, wont load that sort of thing. It's very frustrating, certainly since you have to type the screwed up letters on the screen everytime, and they are barely legible to the human eye most times.

When I try to forward or reply to my emails in my Hotmail account, the original message disappears. Hotmail says it is a compatibility problem with the newest version of Firefox. They suggested I use Internet Explorer. Would prefer to use my old version of Firefox. How do I get it back? Or how can I get my hotmail account to work properly with the 3.6.3 version?

Problem with the latest alsa updates
After the latest alsa-lib and alsa-utils updates, I cannot use 5.1 surround any longer.
Even a "speaker-test -Dplug:surround51 -c6 -l1 -twav" gets stuck at :

and will not go any further.
If I start mplayer with "-channels 6" - it will hang. Same thing in vlc if I select the 5.1 device in the audio menu.
It all used work fine before these updates.
Any ideas?

Problems with the latest LR update 3.6
I just updated LR yesterday. Last night I attempted to download pictures and was less than impressed. I am on a MAC OS X, version 10.7.2. My download include roughly 60 pictures. For the most part, the download went as planned without any kinks. However, randomly, several pictures appeared out of focus within several diferent folders - I import by date. I looked my closely at the specific photos - the camera settings etc and all appeared to be worthy of in focus shots. I then imported the same photo card onto my Mac Book Pro laptop and got in focus shots. Interestingly enough, I have yet to run the software update for LR on the laptop. I have deleted the files from the desktop. Restarted the desktop and attempted to import again. I got the same problem. Anyone else having issues out there? Any suggestions?

KellyYou could try removing the contents of the HP folder, located in HD > Library > Printers. Then empty the Trash, restart the Mac and try the HP download again.

I am having problems with the latest update for itunes, it says 'itunes has an invalid signature'. I have completely uninstalled itunes but now it wont download at all. Have tried downloading it 4 times tonight already. Anyone know how to get it to download? Or what to do?

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
The latest Yosemite update will not finish downloading

I am in the middle of the latest Yosemite update. It requires a restart, so it restarted my computer. Then the normal white screen came up as it was turning on with the loading bar underneath the Apple logo. This is where the problem starts. When the loading bar is at the halfway point, the loading bar doesn't move anymore. I tried this update a couple weeks ago, and the same thing happened. I gave the update a couple hours and yet the loading bar doesn't move. If I force shutdown the computer with the power button, then turn the computer back on again, the update has not installed. I have a lot of storage space and a good internet connection, so I don't see what the problem is. Should i just wait for the next update and see what happens?Hi, I'm having the same issue right now... it's been 3 hours!

When I actually play the videos it's fine, the issue only occurs with still images. This doesn't show up with vimeo videos.

This does not occur with other browsers with the latest flash update.
The problem also shows up even with add-ons disabled and testing it with a new profile.
Does anybody have an idea with how to fix this, or is it a problem on adobe's end?I've fixed the problem by installing the older version of Flash Player (v11.2.202.235).
- First, download the uninstaller from [http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html here].
- Close your browser(s).
- Run uninstaller and remove flash player.
- After the uninstall process, download and install the old version from [http://www.oldapps.com/flash_player.php here].
Note: Download "Adobe Flash Player 11.2.202.235 (Non-IE)" if you are using 32 bit OS

After updating with the latest software, when trying to edit a photo, it disappears (black screen) or screen is full of lines. If I blindly crop or edit the photo, when I exit edit mode, those changes have been made, but obviously this is unacceptable. Is this a bug with the latest software update?
There are several possible causes for the Black Screen issue
1. Permissions in the Library: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to check and repair permissions.
2. Minor Database corruption: Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.
3. A Damaged Photo: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File (or 'Show Original File' if that's available). (On iPhoto 11 this option is under the File -> Reveal in Finder.) Will the file open in Preview? If not then the file is damaged. Time to restore from your back up.
4. A corrupted iPhoto Cache: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto folder from HD/Users/Your Name/ Library/ Caches...
5. A corrupted preference file: Trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder. (Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
If none of these help: As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -
With the new Yosemite update (10.10.3) I can no longer transfer my photographs into Adobe
Photoshop Elements by the previously expedient 'click and drag' method. Neither am I able to import or export them. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to move pictures between the new Photos and Adobe Photoshop?Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.
