Problems with the sound in Windows

Hey everybody, hoping someone can help.
I'm working with Cubase in Windows with my mac and i have problems with the sound, but not all the time.
I have an M-Audio card connected and while i'm playing something in Cubase, the sound makes a digital distortion just for 10 seconds, and then again sounds perfect and then again comes back the digital crash, somekind of loop. So i was thinking that maybe was a problem with the drivers of my M-Audio card, but then i was playing a song in Winnamp with the built-in speakers and happens exactly the same, so i think it's a problem with the Mac drivers for Windows, i use the same audio card in MacOsX and i don't have problems
I have tried various display settings. I have no idea if this is just me or a common problem.

This is not a BOOT CAMP Problem. It is a WINDOWS XP Problem. Either he didn't install the drivers for the sound card. (Which is Realtek High Definition Audio) or the Windows XP audio driver (WNMM) is corrupt.
Go to Device manager and under Sound, Video and Game controllers you should see a little yellow question mark under the WNMM driver. If this is the case he needs to uninstall the driver and reboot. It will then reinstall itself and should work properly after that.

Problem with the sound card

Hello everyone,
So here for 2-3 days, the sound of my Macbook starts beuguer (buy in October 2014). So when starting the mac when I listen to music all goes well, I can adjust the sound using the keys on my keyboard, and when I ca defois support appears to me that the sound is cut off, I think it 'is a problem with the sound card. But as soon as I plug in headphones, not set I have to go through the system preferences. By unplugging the problem remains the same on his fate, but impossible to resolve through the keyboard. I tried to put the volume icon on the top bar but even by setting it does not work here. The problem resolves itself after 30 minutes-1 hour. It's very annoying. Thank you in advance for your answers.

This could be either hardware or software, so let's start with trying to get all drivers and software up to date. This page has updates for all your system. I would recommend getting at least your latest audio driver and BIOS downloaded. Following the installation, try using your sound again and see if the issue still persists.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod/Music and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Hi, i bougth my mac a couple of days ago and it works just perfect.
I had a little problem with the audio and i want to know if its normal or i should be worried about it.
I was watching a episode of a serie and the audio works fine. Then I started to watch another episode and i wasn't hearing anything. The volume was almost on max. i though it was a problem with the webpage but when i went to youtube the audio wasn't working either. i closed google chrome and opened it again, the sound works fine again. But still there was a problem, the little noise that the Mac make when you change the volume wasn't working, in system preference the box "Play Feedback When Volume is Changed" was checked, it just stop working suddenly. I restarted my Mac and now everything is perfect.
im a little worried right know cause ive been using this mac for two days, i think this isnt supossed to happen. i didnt change any configuration before this happened. If this is in a couple of days, whats going to happen in a couple of months or years?

Call Apple Care. You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your computer with no questions asked.
Take FULL advantage of your warranty. Posting on a message board should be done as a last resort and if you are out of warranty or Apple Care has expired.

Problems with the sound - headphones in Macbook!!

I have one of the lastest Macbook, with Core 2 Duo 2,16 Ghz, and I have the first problem (hope the last one ) . I usually use the headphones out to connect the music to large speakers and listen to the music louder, but when I go out and use the integrated speakers, the music in itunes has some sound cuts, sometimes I hear it, sometimes not, and when the music doesn't sound, a light turn on in the headphones out, and I can't turn up or down the volume.
I don't know if it's a software or hardware problem, but it's a little strange.
I hope you can help me.

It is going to digital audio output, which has no volume control. See if you can change the Output setting in "Sounds" system preference.

Having a problem with the sound for purchased movies is skipping like a scratched CD

Every time I got to play a movie of Television show the sound keeps skipping like a scratched CD. I've tried redownloading but that doesn't seem to work. I dont know what else to do.

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
Do you have an iPad 3 as well? And is yours not experiencing any issues close to mine?

W530 and a problem with the sound card

Hi,
Whenever I play a song or a tune, I experience a reoccurring glitch or a "bzzzzzt" for about half a second, before the sound gets back to normal. This seems to be totally random, and not caused by heavy usage of RAM or the processor.
Do you think this is a hardware problem or a driver related issue?
Any suggestions to solve this are appreciated.

My keyboard volume there a problem with the sound it's sounding to low I turn the nomb up it will go up except the sound want go up.

There may be. Try cleaning it out with a cotton swab, tweezers, etc. Also try a different set of earphones to rule out problems with your set.

Presario cq57 just had new mother bored and now there a problem with the sound.

I just got my the laptop back today , after sending it off for repair because it would not boot up so they put a new mother bored in.
but now when i play music or go on bbc iplayer online , when i play the music of video, the sound starts juttering or staying in one part , this is very iritating and i got this laptop for a present for my 21st only had it 2 months today yet after having it fix i am still having problems with it.

The newest iTunes won't work unless iTunes and supporting applications are completely uninstalled first.
After you have uninstalled everything Apple tells you to (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923) using the uninstall feature in the Control Panel, these are the folders you may need to manually delete the contents of:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support (if it exists)
You have to delete the contents of the Mobile Device Support folders before you can delete the Mobile Device Support folders or you will get an error message.
If you don't have the Mobile Device Support folder in either location, reboot and try to install the software. This has worked for lots of people so far. I hope it works for you, too.

Make sure that the headset has a built-in microphone.
Unplug the headset and clear any debris from the headset jack. Then plug it back in.
Make sure the headset is plugged in all the way. If you’re using a case, remove it to make sure it’s not getting in the way.
Check the headset cable, connector, remote, and earbuds for damage. Make sure they’re not blocked or dirty.
Try using another headset. If the issue happens with the other headset, contact Apple Support for help. If the other headset works, contact the headset manufacturer.
Try using a different iOS device with your headset. If the issue happens with the other iOS device, contact the headset manufacturer. For Apple headsets, contact Apple support.

I am having problems with the sounds. Please help I am very worried about my iPad 2

I tried restarting my iPad so the sounds would go normal but every time it goes to the homepage it's muted. When I receive a mail it's muted, when I am playing a couple of games it's sometimes muted and when I type it's muted. I checked the settings if it was muted but it was turned off. I imported my headphones and most of the apps I can hear but when I type It doesn't make the sounds. Any ideas to fix the sounds?
