Problems with the Standard Greeting CUE

Good Day All,
I am running Cisco Unity Express version 3.2.2 in a Cisco 2851 router.
A user has logged onto her voicemail and was attempting to change  the initial default settings for her Unity Express account.
She is using a 7942 phone.
I got around the problem by setting up her voicemail from a shared line on another phone.
The strange thing is that when the user tried to record her name in CUE,  the system seemed to ignore her request and kept the default settings.
When I configured another phone with a shared line,  I had no problems updating the CUE server.
Any ideas , thoughts?

Hello everybody, i am very happy that you want to help me!
I have already got those drivers for the audio, and even if it's actually better with them, its still a problem.
As for the ram, can i check that on the actual ram or with a program? Because when i bought it, it said 512mb "Standard" DDR, nothing more.
The cpu was all right when i upgraded it, so thats not a problem. As for the xp messenger update, i dont think it's that because i am now running windows 2000 and have tried running xp, 2000 and 98 with the same problems.

As for those ram timings, that sound like something i should try. I lack some of those skills so if you could detail what i should set in bios i would apreciated so i dont mess something up
Something just hit me. I have been suspicious about the ram for a while now but now i know, of course it must be the ram. I put in an GeForce2 MX in and it worked splendid, and thats because it has its own memory, i would beleve that it's the same thing with the sound perhaps. If i am not entierly mistaken the sound card probably use my ddr memory as a buffer, right?
