Process chain is not visible in Quality after TR transport

Hi,
I have transported process chain to Qua, but its not visible, only the technical id of process chain is displayed in RSPC tcode. I've tried activating through RSPC_CHAIN_ACTIVE_REMOTE, but still, its not visible in rspc tcode.

Thru not assigned nodes you have issue.
All objects are at prod not in place or not inactive.
So first transport your data flow objects(one by one as suggested at another thread) one by one again to prod and make them proper activation.
at final you can transport your process chain into prod and check it.
With out info pack/dtps at prd, connected process chain how will display the chain.
One the data flow you have issue, please try understand the issue and re transport whole data flow.

After BW upgrade 7.0 to BW 7.31 we tried to trigger the event through SM64 Tcode. But the process chains are not getting triggered.

Process Chain alerts not visible in UWL

I have carried out the weblog test that Ginger published at
/people/ginger.gatling/blog/2005/06/16/integrating-alerts-into-uwl--its-no-problem
and everthing worked fine.
We are, however, trying to use Process Chain alerts from CCMS. These alerts are visible if we run transaction RZ20 in the back end system but the UWL does not see them.
Is there a guide or something showing how to configure this?

I've checked out a couple of systems - you can create alert categories for process chain alerts, and once you have the category you can of course assign recipients.
In fact you should see some existing categories in your system for process chains in transaction ALRTCATDEF.
The UWL essentially reflects what is in the BSP ALRTINBOX as it is using the same/similar routines to derive the alert inbox worklist. So if you don't have anything in ALRTINBOX then it is correct that nothing is showing in UWL inbox as well.
You need to set up the categories and recipients against your process chain alerts.
I'm not all that familiar with BI Process Chains but a couple of minutes looking at the IMG in transaction SPRO showed that in transaction RSPC when you select a process chain you can use menu option Settings > Maintain Alert Categories to make the link between the process chain and the alert categories. You'll probably know what to enter here better than I do.

"podcasts" is not visible in iTunes after software update

iTunes no longer shows "podcasts" as a category. I have several active subscriptions--they seem to have disappeared. All of the other usual categories (e.g., music, TV shows) are still there. This occurred immediately after I downloaded today's iTunes upgrade. I have tried downloading more podcasts. That happens fine--but they are not visible from iTunes after the download.

I can re-check the "podcasts" box in the Windows version. It's not grayed out. But there doesn't seem to be any way to save my changes. Didn't the "preferences" dialog box used to have a "save changes" button at the bottom?

Push button not visible in Quality

Hi,
We have created one push button for the tcode fbl1n and fbl5n using the standard BADi "FI_ITEMS_MENUE01".
Now, the problem is the button is visible in Development server but not in Quality server.
We have checked the version management but the code is very much visible in Quality.
But, the push button is not visible in the Quality.
Could anyone please provide with a solution to this problem.

We have transported the Class name as well as BADi name to Quality.
The implemented code along with the Fcode is visible in Quality.
But while executing the tcodes FBL1N and FBL5N the push button which was implemented, is not visible in Quality.

It's hard to say without seeing the code for TreeTable. But they probably have something like an addNode mothod for the TreeTableNode which will take care of all the updates for you. If you want to do it youself, you will probably have to get the data Model (tree.getModel()???)behind the TreeTable and use one of the fire... methods on it like fireRowChanged(???) or fireTableChanged(???). I would suspect Sun would do it this way.

Infopackage in process chain is not scheduling

One of infopackage in process chain is not scheduling and showing error message like "<b>Attributes are not yet maintained
Entire chain now has status 'R'</b>
what do we mean about this
can anyone will let me know in detail and how to correct this?

Hi balaji,
how big is your process chain ? I got a similar problem when I build a metachain with a lot of processes in the chain (more than 60). In this case, the error message is deceiving. If your process chain has similar numbers of processes, check OSS 942804 (Jobcount handling).

BI Technical Content datasources not found in Quality after transport

I am trying to implement BI technical Content for Admin Cockpit. I was able to implement Technical content Infocubes successfully in development box but when I collected the objects and transported to Quality(collected oblects in seperate requests: info objects in one request, datasources in one request, infocubes, transfer rules and updated rules in one request), I am not able to find the datasources in quality in myself sourcesystem even after repication. but the transport for technical content datasources is successfull. The following are the datasources:

Process Chain : 0PM_INIT_P01 - Not Shown in RSPC

Dear Friends
I have installed 0PM_INIT_P01 (Initialisation:MTTR / MTBR) Process chain.
It installed successfully.
But i could not able to see in RSPC.
Can anybody tell me why it is...?
Some where i found authorization object S_RS_PC is needed for my user id. Is it so...?
Than how i can map to my user id...?

Problem is, the installed process chain is not getting displayed in RSPC for further operations.
Before that, I have installed the Process Chain through business content (0PM_INIT_P01), and it got successfully installed. I had seen in SM37.
For testing purpose i have given the same name (0PM_INIT_P01) for another chain creation.
But system telling the name is already available.
My confusion, why it is not getting displayed in anywhere in RSPC.

Can you check that your user has the necessary authorizations to schedule a job? Can you also check if there
is an error message generated in sm21 or dump in st22? You say as well that the scheduling is looping, in sm50 what
table/statement is the process looping over? Can you also let us know your BW release and support package level.

Process Chains are not shown in QAS?

I transported the process chain from DEV to TEST system and my transports are successful. But when i logon to test system and double click on my process chain ... i dont view my chain.
What could be the possible reason?
Please help me out.

Yes i did import to the right client. I can see my process chain name left side. But when i double click on it. It should show the process chain right side in the Planning view. But i dont my process chain there.

Infopackage insert in process chain does not work

Hi,
We upgrade a system in support package 13 (we are in veresion 7) and since this upgrade i can not add an infopackage in process chains.
When i try to insert an "execute infopackage" process, i click on the list of infopackage available and the systems says :
No data selected
Of course i have info^package available.
If you have any idea ?

We had the same problem ( BI 7.0 - SP 13 ) but was resolved after having applied OSS note 1062704.
Just apply that note - it should solve it.

Process chain is not deleting overlapping requests

Hi all,
I did all the steps like I described on my earlier posts to delete the overlapping request from infopackage through process chain. I tested it in development and it works fine with any condition, I mean automation through event, date and after seven days. When it comes to production it is not giving me the same result. So when I checked the infopackage of production I saw a routine added in the data selection of infopackage to load two days old data in the routine. We do not have that added in the development. Now if this is causing issue, can I add a step in the routine to delete previous request after loading file in the data selection.

Hi aanjaneya,
If you want to select and delete only the previous request of previous day, go to the infopackage and in data target tab there is option for each data target for setting the automatic deletion.
If you select it, you will get a window which has the option to delete the request. Select all the conditions and same or more comprehensive check box and also check the request date to yesterday and today option.
This will delete the request loaded yesterday and also with same selection from same source.
