                   Can any buddy tell me what is medical remburshment process i nedd step wise detail i don't want to apy threw IT0008.I want to pay from  IT0014.
Kindly tell me what should be the setting of CUMULATION,PROCESSING and EVALUATING Classes for Medical Rembushment wage types .

Hi,
Employee will be paid medical expenses amount  for a year by the employer.  This amount is variable and may differ for each ESG and also for each company.  This amount is paid either every month / in quarters and is pro-rata calculated.  Employee has to produce bills depending upon the period of calculation (every month/quarter).. In case the total amount fixed for the employee is producd brough medical bills then this amount is not taxable... Else the remaining amount for which the bills were not produced gets taxed.. If the employee does not produce any bills, the total amount post taxes will be paid to the employee at the end of the year..
This can be configurd under IT0014.. u can use the SAP defined wag type M221, 222 or 223...

  • Private folder  (200GB)

    Hi,
    I was reading about the 'private folder' from other topics, but I still do not know what to do with mine.
    Inside it there is a folder called "folders" with 189.5 gb, and a folder called "vm" with 10.6gb.
    folders/60/w3cpz6754zb866y3thzz2f2h0000gn/T has 187.9 gb, once there are hundreds hidden folders named .vbfolder_XXXX with .mgz files with up to 402.6mb each. I accessed the hidden folders using Daysi Disk. Some of its names remind me of some files used in the processing of medical imaging I have been doing in the las months, but I would like to be sure that these files are not part of the system / OS X before deleting them (I have every data I need backed up thrice). Any help?

    Please read this whole message carefully, especially the warnings, before doing anything.
    1. I can only guess which of the modifications you've made to your system is causing the problem. The changes suggested here should be considered provisional; they may not help, or they may remove functionality that you find useful. If a third-party system modification that you want to keep is at fault, refer to its developer for support.
    2. WARNING: Back up all data now if you haven’t already done so. Before proceeding, you must be sure you can restore your system to its present state, even if it becomes unbootable. If you’re not sure you can do that, STOP — DON’T CHANGE ANYTHING. If you’re dissatisfied with the results of the procedure suggested below, restore from your backup. I will not be responsible for the consequences, and I will not be able to help, if you ignore this warning.
    3. You should either remove or update the following system modification(s), if an update is available from the developer:
    N/A
    and definitely remove at least the following:
    † Kaspersky
    † MacKeeper
    † VirusBarrier
    4. Whatever you remove must be removed completely, and (unless otherwise specified in this message) the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the third-party developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job. I can't be more specific, because I don't install such things myself. Please do your own research.
    You will generally have to reboot after uninstalling a system modification. Until you do that, the uninstallation may have no effect, or unpredictable effects.

    Again, please don't ask me to do this research for you. You can do it better than I can, because I haven't installed the product and I may not even know what it is.
    If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
    WARNING: Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.
    5. I recommend that you never reinstall the modifications marked with a dagger (†) above, if any. If your problem is resolved after uninstalling all the above modifications and rebooting, but you still want to use some of those not marked with a dagger, you can experiment with putting them back, one at a time, testing carefully after each step. Keep in mind that system modifications may be incompatible with each other or with future OS X updates, so it may not be clear which one is at fault.
    6. If you still have problems after making the suggested changes and rebooting, post again. Remember: if you don’t like the results of this procedure, you can undo it by restoring from the last backup you made before you started.
    Remove Kaspersky Security by following the instructions on this page. If you have a different version of the product, the procedure may be different.
    Remove Intego "VirusBarrier" by following the instructions on this page. If you have a different version of the product, the procedure may be different.
    Remove "MacKeeper" as follows.
    "MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.

You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
    Failure to remove MacKeeper will result from neglecting any one of these points:
    Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
    Don't empty the Trash after dragging the application to it. Let MacKeeper delete itself.

    The more actively promoted the product, the more likely it is to be garbage. The most extreme example is the “MacKeeper” scam.
    The only software you should install is that which directly enables you to do the things you use a computer for — such as creating, communicating, and playing — and does not modify the way other software works. Never install any third-party software unless you know how to uninstall it.

  • BOM Explosion needed on PO and/or Delivery for Stock Transfer PO Process

    Good afternoon,
      I have been researching the SDN and web for a solution to my problem to no avail so far. 
    The business problem I need to solve is the requirement for our STPO process to explode certain BOM's that are transfered from one company/plant to another company/plant in order to record batch/serial # component information by the delivering plant on the delivery and verification of the batch/serial # in the receiving plant during MIGO processing of the delivery.  This is needed by our Service Mgmt department in order to track servicable items within the Finished Good (medical devices industry).
    It appears on the SDN that a BOM can not be exploded on a non-Subcontracting PO (which would be ideal for us), but barring this problem, we are trying to have the BOM explode in the Delivery created from the STPO via the VL10B transaction.
    The STPO generates a Delivery doc with type NLCC and item category NLC.  I have maintained the material master for the BOM material to have an Item Category Group of ERLA, and I have modified Item Category Determination in configuration in Logistics Execution for deliveries to include ERLA, usage V, and NLC as default item category.  But, the deliveries generated from the STPO still do not explode, like what normally happens if the delilvery of the BOM was created from a standard Order.
    The components for the BOM need to be displayed on the Delivery (if not the STPO), so the cleark can record the Batch/Serial #'s for each component.  Then when the receiving plant posts the Goods Receipt for the delivery a user exit we have (based on movement type and material document code) builds a Service Mgmt table that is then processed to De-install the BOM and components from the former plant and install the BOM and components at the receiving plant (and then subsequently at the ultimate customer's location when a normal sale is made), generating a new Functional Location.
    Has anyone here had to do anything like this before?  Would any of you have any ideas on how this BOM explosion might work on the PO or Delivery?

  • Creating a medical leave plan

    Hi everyone, I'm being asked to create a medical leave plan for the organization im with. No exp in Oracle HR prior to this.
    The reqs are below.
    Pro-ration of 7 days for new joiners is based on days of the year served. If employee hire date = 6 Feb 2012, that means he is only applicable to apply this leave after 5 May 2012 (90 days of service). The leave available for him in the year of 2012 will be (number day of service/366)* 7 = 330/366 * 7 = 6 days.
    This is paid medical leave so no effect to payroll.
    However, i've created a leave element that is of type recurring. However i noticed that when trying to create a leave plan it does not show me any 'recurring' element types on the config screen.
    Additionally if i create a non-recurring element type then they are only valid for the current pay period.
    Oracle documentation is no much help and unfortunately, trying to check metalink notes dont help as i need a "Valid support identifier" when logging in, which no one in my organization has any idea about.
    Any help is appreciated. I could paypal you a fair amount if you could walk me though the end to end process for this.

    Some questions if you dont mind:
    1. You need to create a Leave Element of Type Absence.
    Should the element be of type recurring or non-recurring?
    2. Create a link of Element with Payroll. ( Or at whatever Level , u need to link it e.g: organization,Employee type , etc)

    3. Make a Leave Type using that Element.

    4. You need to write a User Hook ( a Validation to restrict Employee to raise a leave after 90 days of Employment)
    How do i do this? I'm exploring to use accrual plans with the accrual bands with 'fast-formulas' is that the user hook?
    5. Also a User Hook to restrict employee only for applying applicable Medical Leave as per your formula : (number day of service in current year /366)* 7
    Where exactly is the setup screen for this?

  • Error While processing the COBRA qualified Life event

    Hi All,
    We have setup the Termination Life event as a COBRA qualifying life event.
    Also setup the a new monthly payroll as the default payroll and set the benefit assignment to Yes at BG level.
    I created an employee on 18 aug 2010 , processed new hire life event and enrolled that employee into the COBRA plan named "Be well Medical Plan".
    Then When I terminated the employee as on 18oct2010, While Processing The Termination life event, I am getting an Error saying “When determining pay periods, a payroll Id is required. This error has occurred in the following package : ben_distribute_rates.get_periods_between. "
    When I searched for this error in metalink ,it says it does not have a payroll id ,but when I check on 19oct2010 using the People->Total Comp Participation->Person Benefits Assignment window, he has got the default payroll attached to his benefits assignment.
    Could you please help me to reslove this issue?

    Hi Anuradha,
    This error comes in many scenarios and there are bug fixes also for them. Please check on all patches available for you apps patchset level having the file benelmen.pkb. You may find a fix for it. (This was a common issue sometime back with suspended/terminated assignments) Also, I suggest logging a SR with oracle asap if your terminated assignment and also the benefits assignment have the correct payrolls attached.

  • SODA - Service Oriented Integration of Medical Devices in Hospitals

    In this thread I will write about my dissertation project. It addresses the problem of the integration of medical devices with their proprietary interfaces and data models into the existing hospitals´ IT infrastructure.
    Interoperability is an almost non-existent feature of medical devices. The consequences of non-interoperable devices in hospitals are manifold. Medical data produced by devices cannot be directly integrated into hospital information systems for medical documentation. Thus, important data will be lost and examinations have to be repeated if required information is not available due to incomplete documentation. In addition, the documentation quality is affected by human errors due to manual nonelectronic steps and media discontinuities. Another example is maintenance. Medical devices have to be maintained at regular intervals. Thus, an inventory of all devices, their status and maintenance intervals is needed for generating a maintenance manual. Currently there is usually no possibility for automatically getting a detailed inventory of all medical devices in a hospital (or section of a hospital).
    The market size in conjunction with a multitude of companies and products (the DIMDI information system contains data about 60,000 medical devices) results in challenges concerning interoperability due to different proprietary hard- and software interfaces, data structures and semantical interpretations. Initiatives like IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) are trying to push standardization in the medical sector. However u2013 as mentioned above - the current situation is still unsatisfying and increasingly getting worse due to the continuously growing number of medical devices and associated interfaces.
    A promising approach for overcoming interoperability issues is the service oriented device integration, also known as SODA (Service Oriented Device Architecture). The basic concept is the encapsulation of devices as services, analogous to enterprise services in service oriented architectures (SOA). An enterprise service is a software component that offers a business functionality on a highly semantical level by specifying the interface in a standardized way (e.g. by the Webservice Description Language u2013 WSDL). Highly semantical level especially means, that a service is self-descriptive in a way that it can be consumed dynamically and loosely coupled by other components with a consistent understanding of shared data. In the medical domain a device service for instance could offer functionality for measuring the current blood pressure of a patient. Based on such basic services more complex services (like a patient monitoring system) can be realized.
    The main advantage of the service oriented approach is that the manufacturer-specific device interface does not have to be known by the service consumer and by the programmer respectively, as it is encapsulated by a standardized service interface. This enables the extension of IT supported medical processes by devices, e.g. by using the Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). In addition new functionalities could be added to the device service that are logically related to the device but not offered by the device itself (e.g. tracking & tracing functionalities); so the device service can be considered as a virtual device. Therefore software maintenance will become easier, because the service interface remains unchanged in case of a device exchange or device interface changes. In my dissertation project I will explore the advantages and obstacles of the SODA concept in comparison to existing approaches for integrating medical devices in hospitals.
    The SODA approach is in accordance with the SAP Enterprise SOA (ESOA) strategy. For instance, the scope of the Healthcare Community Definition Group is to further enhance the Enterprise Services (ES) Bundles Patient Administration and Medical Activities, Patient Billing and Invoicing and to define a new ES Bundle on Medical Documentation. SODA projects define services for devices. These services can use or combined with Enterprise Services, e.g., for Patient Administration. In the EU funded project SOCRADES, SAP Research explores the SODA approach in other domains, especially industrial automation.

    Hmm, perhaps your other discovery settings are configured that it'll get the OOB OU because you're OOB OU is under some other OU that's configured to be discovered and you have the recursive and group settings turned on, CHECK this first.
    Remove the OOB from your discovery. For testing purposes, remove (delete) one or more machine objects from the ConfigMgr console, wait a while and then run the AD System Discovery again and check what object gets there. AD system discovery shouldn't look
    objects from other OUs than the ones you've specified in the discovery settings.
    I'm not that familiar with vPro, so the behavior you're seeing might well be the default, but I doubt that.. Doen't make sense that you control your computer objects.
    For more information you could also post adsysdis.log from the configmgr server.

  • Cash Journal - Process in Other Organizations

    Hi All,
    Iu2019m a bit confused in our current business process so thought to share with experts to get input for optimizing the process. Cash Journal (txn: FBCJ) is used for managing cash transactions that could be posting of cash receipts and payments etc.
    Currently, hundreds of cash receipts use to create on daily basis, e.g. different vouchers related to fare, medical, communication expense and other facilities, availed by employees. This voucher is first signed by the employee then it goes to his departmentu2019s head which is then signed by Treasury Departmentu2019s Head. The employee then collects and submits it to cash counter who posts receipt in SAP Cash Journal.
    The process before reaching to Cash Counter can be optimized through _Customized Application within or outside SAP_ but I would like expertu2019s opinion and there experience that how in their organization such process exist. Hope to get a good suggestion

    Umair can you please describe the way in a bit detail. Like your employee use to email to his/her manager for approval once he approved it will go to further approvals and all that?
    Or is it like a custom application where users use to fill up the form which on submit goes to manager and other personnels for approvals?
    If this is the case, how about providing any proof in the form of hardcopy etc.?

  • Medical Payment

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement where the client wants to pay the some medical amount to the employees on the basis of the following formula:
    8% of the last three month basic salary(actually paid)
    This amount is paid on quarter basis.
    My problem is that how should i make this possible in system where by system automatically calculates the 8% of the last three month basic salary (actually paid). This amount is paid through regular payroll.
    Plz suggest.
    Note:- Basic salary(actually paid) means if the employee is absent for some days of the month then his basic is also reduced for that month.......so we have to take into account the net basic salary paid for the last three months.
    Plz feel free to ask if my question is not clear.

    One more thing medicals is for yearly wise it can be paid monthly or yearly but as per query i undoorstood he trying to give montlhy that why he is mentioning <b>reduction factor</b> also.
    Well SAP is a ocean i need to learn more so is there any other ways then I will be thankful to know the process.

  • Common Expenses Process

    Hi Experts,
    I have a issue on common expenses within two company codes, that is
    When the new employee joins into the company, company will provide a medical insurance to that new employee, say we have 2 company codes X and Y, for all employees medical insurances for X & Y  will take care company X only.
    Process as follows:
    1.When the new employee joins, company X sends a mail to insurance company for medical Insu.
    2.Once Medical Insu. received, this was send to employee department it may be other company u201CYu201D or same company u201CXu201D(department = Cost Center)
    3.Insurance Company will send a debit note to the company for Medical Insu. Charges.
    4.Once the debit note is received, check the calculated amount and send it to Company X or Y  which department it should be charged.
    For the above process how to book the entries in Companyu201D Xu201D and Company u201CYu201D.
    Please give some idea on the process.

    In may openion create 2 cost centers for X and Y in Company X only because all the insurance payments will be made by Company X only as you said.
    At the time of posting debit notes select respective cost centers then your problem will be solved.

  • Issue in Medical Reimbursement

    I have an issue in Medical Reimbursement
    Entered medical eligibility for the employees in IT589, proportionately , eg. If any employee joined on or before 1/4/08, full amount 15000, if joined after 1/4/08 proportionately entered.
    But system calculated proportionately so , we deleted all the amounts and the eligibility 15000 is entered in IT 589 for all employees, so now system calculates proportionately if employee joins after 1/4/08
    If any employee is claiming we are entering in IT 15 and processing the payroll.
    Upto here its fine.
    But in Easy access, payroll India>utilities> RAPs> claim status,
         The system showing the eligible amount only for some people, but for some other people its not showing the eligibility amount. But its showing the claimed amount which is entered in IT15
    Please let me know the reason and how to fix so that  in Claim Status, we can see the eligible amount, claimed amount and balance

    Entered medical eligibility for the employee in IT589, say Emp no 1. 15000 rupees .
    Upto today for him 9702 is claimed through infotype 15.
    But in claim status report  for this employee, showing only eligibility is 9702 and claimed is also 9702.
    Balance is showing as 9702.
    But instead of this in Claim status report it should show eligible amt as 15000 and claimed as 9702 and 5298 should be the balance. It how it show appear in claim status report, why it not showing like this I m not aware
    For another employee say Emp no 2, 15000 in IT589 is appearing for medical, but he didnu2019t claimed so far any amount, no values for medical in it 15, but in Claim Status report showing nothing for him
    Instead it should show eligible as 15000, claimed nil, and balance should be 15000 but not showing like this
    Please let me know the reason for this and  what I need to do so that the correct values appear in claim status report

  • Problem in Production Process

    My client receives vehicle from customer and changes into ambulance.Assembly process is done here.
    According to him there are stages in production like:
    1. Structure
    2. Insulation
    3. A/c fitting
    4. Despatch
    These are the stages.Now he wants to issue items to each stages with fixed decided quantity.*There is BoM for each stage but
    problem is no new parent item is formed*.So i cant use production process.For this i have made store,  Structure, Insulation, A/c fitting, Despatch as warehouses in the system so that items could be issued from store to these warehouses stages wise.
    Now the items issued to structure, insulation will make medical component as a item.And item issued to A/c fitting, Despatch contribute to form ambulance component.
    Now during delievry medical component,ambulance component and vehicle that was received will be invoiced to customer.
    Please suggest me how can use this process in SAP B1?

    There is no purchase of vehicle it is just receipt of vehicle from the customer and then passing the same vehicle through various stages and then  receive ambulance at the last.
    At each stage items are issued from store.
    If i could use production process then it was easy for me to alott a serial no to the production process but now imn not able to solve this production  procedure in B1, so tracking will be definatly nxt issue.
    But in system what i calculate is that he wants inventory transfer from store to these warehouses and then at last consuming them to form new product.

    Hello!! I am new to this forum and I am so glad that I found it. The wealth of information shared on this site is remarkable. Thank You All!!! I am looking for guidance with removing/deleting a medical collection from my CR. I researched the HIPPA process and guidelines (which I know cannot be discussed on this site) but I have not heard back from the creator. My question is has anyone had success with removing a medical collection without using the HIPPA process? If so, can you please share your strategy with me? The CA is Sav-it Enterprises in NJ and the amount owed is $300 from 2011 and I am willing to pay in full, today, in order to get it deleted. I sent them a pay for delete letter and they sent me the statement from the doctor's office and updated the account with the CRA. However, I did notice that the date of first delinquency is incorrect, if that even matters. I don’t know what I should do now or how I should move forward with getting it deleted. Any information you can share with me will be extremely helpful. This is the only remaining collection account that I have and I need it removed in order to increase my scores to qualify for a mortgage. Thanks in advance.

    Yes, I do have proof that they date is incorrect - its off by 1 year. Also, the billing statement they sent me shows the date as 2011 but they are reporting it as 2012. I also have explanation of benefits from my insurance provider which confirms that date as 2011. Okay. I will call them today to offer full payment and then send a GW letter shortly after paying. I really hope it works because I really need to get this removed.
