Product Costing SAP TABLES

Dear Gurus ,
can someone provide me the list of CO Product Costing related SAP TABLES please . Full points will be assigned .
Regards
Deepesh

Deepesh,
There are many tables / structures used in product costing by SAP. The primary being:
KEKO - Product Costing - Header Data
KEPH - Product Costing: Cost Components for Cost of Goods Mfd
Between these, you should be able to find cost component values for all your materials.
However, if you are looking at customizing tables, look at TCK*.
There are still more tables out there - e.g., for costing run (KAL*), for material ledger, for unit costing (CKIS, CKIP, CKKS). Have fun exploring.
Remember to assign points if found useful.

  • Production order cost breakup table in SAP

    Hi Experts,
I am looking for the cost breakup table in SAP. I mean the cost breakup analysis that is shown in the production orders.
I can get the material costs breakup from table AUFM, Confirmations cost breakup from table AFRU & AFVV, the only remaining is the overhead costs against cost element.

  • Production cost in SAP

    Hi,
i have calculated the standard price of product in SAP. but at the end my production cost seems very high and i don't understand why
    this is what i did:
first i upload the budget in the system in KP06 for the full year
i upload the quantities of activities in KP26 for the full year also
then i run the assessment cycle to bring the budget at the level of the "production cost center"
then i splitted the budget per activity in KSS4, to get the budget of each activity/cost center.
i calculated the price of activities in KSPI.
then i run CK40N, to calculate the standard price of the different product.
    but my problem is that:
why when i make the sum of all the production cost for all the product, i don't find again the initial budget i put in the system?
    thanks for your comments

  • CO data extraction:  report table CO object product cost accounting

In <b>R/3</b> I have a report which has been created with the <u>Report Writer</u> (tCode GR31). It uses a <u>library</u> based on the <i>report table CO object product cost accounting</i> (KKBC).
The interesting aspect is that this library contains the <u>characteristic</u> <i>sales order number</i> (KDAUF). Using it as well as other characteristics (<i>cost element</i>, <i>value type</i>, <i>results analysis version</i>), the <u>key figure</u> <i>total costs</i> SWKG has been <u>restricted</u> (in the BI meaning) in a variety of ways, giving several restricted key figures.
I am looking for the corrisponding <u>content objects</u> in <b>BW</b> which could allow obtaining the same result. My issue is that all the objects I've found apparently don't have the detail of <u>0DOC_NUMBER</u>.
After reading the manual page <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/cb/149b3979e90e1be10000000a114084/frameset.htm">InfoCubes in Controlling</a> I've considered the following InfoCubes:
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/64/0a6937adf79120e10000009b38f842/frameset.htm">CO-PC-OBJ: Cost Object Controlling</a> (0PC_C01)
It contains only the data of <u>cost elements</u> linked to <u>production orders</u>. As a consequence, the costs elements linked generically to the <u>customer orders</u> are not present. Please notice that the <u>navigational attribute</u> 0DOC_NUMBER is an attribute of 0PRODORDER.
    <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/33/6db6385443bd7ae10000009b38f8cf/content.htm">CO-OM: Costs and Allocations (Delta Extraction)</a> (0COOM_C02)
It contains all the <u>cost elements</u>, thus also those which are linked to the <u>customer orders</u>. Unfortunately the data are not at the desired level of detail, being aggregated with respect to 0DOC_NUMBER. When a cost element is linked to a production order, the characteristic <i>partner object</i> (0PIOVALUE) contains the <i>production order number</i>. However for those cost elements which are linked to sales documents, the characteristic <i>partner object</i> has no value.
Do you have any idea what <u>DataSource</u> could give me all the data I need, currentrly extracted in R/3 through the KKBC reporting structure?
    Cheers, Davide

    Hello all,
the thread Business Content for Product Cost by Sales Order by Christian J explains the very same problem I'm facing - in a much clearer way. Unfortunately his issue hasn't been completely solved.
Has anyone any idea about it?

  • Product Costing in SAP Retail Solution

    Hi experts
I have a question about product costing in SAP Retail (SAP ECC 6.0).
In material master data (Tr. MM43 - Tr. MM42) Product Costing view for Logistics:CD sheet is activated.
Although, for Logistics:Store sheet is not activated.
In customizing, we have tried to activate the Product Costing view for Logistics:Store sheet, but there no standard dynpro to use it. So, we have some doubts:
    - Do we have to create customer (Z) dynpros in order to activate Product Costing view for Logistics:Store sheet?
    - Does SAP allows Product Costing functionality in SAP Retail solution?
If both answers are YES, i have another doubt:
    - In our business scenario, the store is supplied by the Distribution Center. So, does it make sense to run product costing for
    a articles in a Store?
We think it makes sense to apply product costing functionality in Distribution center. In order to analyze deviations from
Standard costs to real costs.  But we are not sure about Stores.
Does anyone have experience in customizing product costing functionality for a SAP retail in a Logistics:Store?
    Thank you for your time

    hi
Product hierarchy in R3 is termed as Merchandise category hierarchy in SAP IS retail
But in R3 Product hierarchy is not used much but Merchandise category hierarchy that is termed as MCH  is a basic thing reqd for defining master data that is article master data which is nothing but material master in R3
As i said Product hierarchy  levels are available in R3 also but not much used
Merchandise category hierarchy levels is most commonly used in SAP IS retail
What we call material group in R3 is same as Merchandise category in SAP IS retail and material in R3 is article in Retail
    Merchandise category hierarchy levels
Say a Retail mall has merchandise items
Under merchandise there are 2 divisions Food and non food
Under nonfood say there are 2 divisions  say hardware and apparel
Under apparel there   2 divisions  say Mens wear and ladies wear
Under mens wear you have t shirts, shirts and pants etc
Here t shirts, shirts and pants etc are individual articles
Menswear  and ladies wear are material groups
Hardware and apparel are merchandise hierarchy level 1
Food and non food merchandise hierarchy level 2
Retail mall is merchandise hierarchy level 3
like that hierarchy levels are commonly defined and used as a must to have efficient master data in SAP retail and the maximum no of hierarchy to have ideally is 6 apart from Merchandise category
In our example we have defined three levels
The same functionality can be used as product hierarchy in R3 also but doesnt been put in to use much
In Retail the no of articles a store is going to manage to be will be huge hence this sort of seggregation is needed there must
For more clarity try to post this in retail forum(Trading industries)

  • Problem while using KEKO(Product Costing - Header Data) table in the report

    hi,
below is the slect query i have written.
while accessing the table KEKO( Product Costing - Header Data ) .more time is taken.
is there any alternative other than KEKO table when using in my report.
SELECT FEH_STA VBELN POSNR FROM KEKO
INTO TABLE IST_KEKO FOR ALL ENTRIES IN IST_VBAP_KEKO
               WHERE KALNR = IST_VBAP_KEKO-KALNR.
    regards,
    DILIP.

    Hi Dilip,
Before going for any other table,
As Kalnr is only one of the primary keys of table KEKO, You can try creating secondary index on KEKO, which might help in improving your report performance.
Also, you can add more conditions in where clause if possible, which will also help in improving performance.

  • SAP PRODUCT COSTING

    Hi Guru's,
I am new to Product Costing and I have few questions,
If any one can give me the ways I can resolve these issue,
    I would appreciate there help.
    Please find the questions below,
    1) I have scenario where BOM has 10 items and in that I am not required to use one of the material. that may be a RAW or Halb etc.
This is only for particular scenario where I don't use that material, In other scenarios we use all that present in the BOM.
    2) BOM have 10 items and I have one material which is $5 and I need this material from another Profit center and that is $6,
so how can I charge this material cost to $6 in the BOM.? (One way is doing mixed costing) if you can suggest any more ways to do it
    3) In BOM one item is $10 but we want to cost it only 70% ie: $7?
only for 1 scenario we cost 70% of that material in BOM for all other scenarios we cost 100%.
    Please help.
    Regards
    Chandra

    Santosh,
I think may be I was not clear on my question,
    (1) I have scenario where BOM has 10 items and in that I am not required to use one of the material. that may be a RAW or Halb etc.
This is only for particular scenario where I don't use that material, In other scenarios we use all that present in the BOM.
STEP 1 .CHECK " DO NOT COST" OPTION IN COSTING 1 VIEW OF THE MATERIAL.
    STEP 2. RELEASE COST ESTIMATE.
STEP 3 . SET BACK " DO NOT COST" OPTION IN COSTING 1 VIEW OF THE MATERIAL FOR NEXT COSTING RUN.)
Every time changing in the material master is not possible because we use same material as a component for other FG's.
and in this particular BOM we not only use it for this scenario but also for other scenarios where we use it as a component.
((2) BOM have 10 items and I have one material which is $5 and I need this material from another Profit center and that is $6,
so how can I charge this material cost to $6 in the BOM.? (One way is doing mixed costing) if you can suggest any more ways to do it
NO NEED TO CHANGE MATERIAL COST IN BOM.
IN BOM, SELECT MATERIAL FROM THE DESIRED PLANT / PROFIT CENTER.))
Can you give me more details on this please...........2 questions.
    (3) In BOM one item is $10 but we want to cost it only 70% ie: $7?
only for 1 scenario we cost 70% of that material in BOM for all other scenarios we cost 100%.
1)IN BOM, MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED QTY AS 70%.
    2) DO COSTING RUN.
    3) SET BACK THE CHANGES IN BOM FOR DIFFERENT SCENARIO.)
For this particular scenario there are 10 materials and in that only one material Halb price is 10 at qty 1,
and I want this cost to be $7 ie $3 less than the original price in material master.
    example:
material cost: $10 and qty is 1.
in the above scenario i use same material and same quantity ie $10 qty is 1.
but i want this material price to be 70% price ie $7 in the PO.
    Regards
    Chandra

  • Encryption of standard SAP field (product cost)

    Hi,
My client would like to encrypt product cost-related fields, and I was wondering how to encrypt the field much like you would a credit card number of password.
    Thanks
    Brian

Not sure if the encryption is in the GUI so users don't see it or in the database so DBAs can't access it.
One way to encrypt it is through DB encryption methods such as TDE for Oracle.  If you are Oracle shop, TDE is in your license and you can use is as of Oracle 10.2.0.4.

  • SAP Tables needed in PP area?

    Dear Experts.
I am looking SAP related tables for the following in Production Area,
    1) SAP tables that Store materials data for Producing Finished Products/ Assembling of Finished Products
From SAP, I need to get all the table(s) that contains all formulations for all materials produced or assembled by the business unit.  These formulations should reflect components to produce the materials themselves and not the containers or packaging in which the materials might ultimately be shipped.  Formulations should also be included for packages themselves.
    2)  SAP tables for Production Standards
From SAP, I need to get Production rates and assignments to production units.
    3) SKU characterstics.
From SAP tables get all the SKU Characterstics such as SAFETY_STOCK, MIN_REORDER_QTY, REPLENISH_TYPE, TRANSIT_TIME, LEAD_TIME and other characterstics for the SKU.
