Production order start date gets incremented by 1 day

Hi,
I have a scenario where in when the Planned Order gets converted to Production Order the Start date gets incremented by 1 day.
If the planned order date is 11.02.2009 after converting to Prod Order it shows the start date as 12.02.2009.
Can any please help me in resolving this issue,
with rgds
Ranjith Singh

Dear,,
Please run the MRP MD02 with Scheduling- 2 Lead time scheduling.
Planeed order date may be from in house production time which is lot size independent.
But production order date is from routing time which are lot size depnendent.
Hope clear to you or come back if any problem.

  • Order Start date

    Hi
I am facing issue with order start date.
I have created a process order and finish date as 30/06/2011. Scheduling is Forward in Time.
When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011 in production system, Order start date gets changed to 22/06/2011 and order finish date remains same.
Whereas in Quality system, When i do partial confirmation of order on 22/06/2011, Order start date and order finish date remains same as 30/06/2011.
Please confirm how the standard process should work.
Why order start date is getting changed on partial confirmation in production system
    Regards
    Sachin

    Sachin,
    This is normal  standard behaviour
Normally when production order confirmation is posted in advance to order start date, actual order start date does not change until Manula / Automatic Scheduling is switched on.
You can go to the client where it is working correctly and manually reschedule the order in CO02 and check, order dates will get changed.
So somehow in your case Automatic Scheduling is happning and hence order dates are getting changed automatically.
Automatic Scheduling Flag in OPU3 does not directly trigger CO02 change in order dates. Please check if mnaul scheduling is getting triggered in your case or some background job of COHV is running for order scheduling.
    Check and revert,

  • Production order basic dates (start and finish) in past

    Hi,
My clinet has got one requirement where in they want to create an production order with past date (Basic start and finish). I found one way to achieve this by selecting the scheduling type as "Only Capacity requirement", but the disadvantage is that the order will not get scheduled.
Do you know any other method to achieve this functionality?
    Thanks and Regards
    Purushothaman Nagarajan

    Dear Friend,
As i said, in Production order, under Production order - Setting - Scheduling maintain the number of days in past (says 100 days).
Now in below select the scheduling type as backward scheduling and in Finish date give the date which is in past and now enter (or schedule the order). Because of this system will propose the start date which will also be in past.

  • Planned order creation with PDS valid on only order start date and not finish date

    Hi All,
We have requirement to allow creation of planned order manually if production version is valid on order start date and not finish date.  This is because lead time of order is longer. I refered OSS notes 385602. I could find out solution for this is implementation of OSS note 694140 to change validity mode at activity level to consider start date of first produce activity  in validity interval. Problem is even If I create order in APO by implementiong this note planned order is not transfered to ECC and it gets stuck with error production version not valid.
Is there any way in ECC to control this? Any config or customization?

    Santosh

    Nilesh,
I think there is a simple procedural skip happening in your business process. You are right when a planned order is created after MRP it would default assign it to the first available production version. 2options available for us,
    1. First use transaction MF50 and do the line loading and assign the quantites to the production versions/Production lines, so that the actual capacity planning is getting completed. This way you can have planned orders with both the production versions and matching to your actual line capacity.
    2. Use Quota arrangement concept, to automatically split the Planned orders during MRP for a percentage based on individual production versions.
Now when backflush is performed S225 table is updated and Planned order qty also gets reduced.
    Hope this helps....

  • Planned order start date & finish date

    Dear All ,
I am running MRP for finished material ,
But i am getting Planned order start date & finish date are coming same (todays date ). But when i am converting the order then proper scheduled dates are coming .
Why for the Planned order the scheduled dates are not coming ?
    Regards

    Hi Venky,
Pls try to understand how MRP works
After MRP planned orders are created for the requirement(in house)
In the planned order stage -basic dates are deteremined
For the determintaion of basic dates system check the in house production time/replenishment lead time maintained in the material master
For your requirement you maintain lot size dependent in house production data in the work scheduling view & check
You have to key in data in set up time, processing time ,base qty etc
    Hope it is clear

  • How Production Order finish date and time is being comptued by SAP?

    Hello Expert,
How Production Order finish date and time is being comptued by SAP? for example, we create a Production Order via CO01, the basic start date is 29.09.2008 and time is 04:00 it gives us basic finish date is 29.09.2008 and time is 13:28.
how does SAP compute the time 13:28 as it finished time
    Please explain me briefly.
    Thanks
    Ryan

    Hello Guys,
When we create Production Order in R/3 the time is calculated by routing but it is extended at SetUp machine time. It is not correct?. SetUp imachines time used only for first Production Order for the same product and it is plan manually, for others Production Order we need calculate time for production without SetUp machine time being pick up to compute finish time. how could we achieve this? only those Machine time will be check.

  • Profit center field in production order master data in KKF3

    Hi GUrus,
is there any way of mass updating the profit center field in production order master data in KKF3 transaction. PLease help
    Anusha

    HI charlie,
When i try to change the profit center, the system gave this message. We already have a profit center for a production order and we need to change the profit center, That is when we are getting the errror message.
You have changed the profit center from AR00620800 to AR00620301. This is only allowed when the corresponding configuration was made in Customizing. Then this message is only a warning, which you can ignore.  PLease help
    Thanks

  • Production Order Completion date

    Hi All,
Can I know from which table can I get the production order completion date.

    Priya,
There are different thoughts as you did not clearly explain what you meant by Order Completion date.
If you are looking at based on,
    Confirmation then AFKO-GETRI
    Goods Delivery then AFPO-LTRMI
If you are looking at Based on Status CLSD then you need to find the status change document using table JCDS-TJ02 with referance to the Object Number of the Production order from AUFK table.

  • Production order finish date

While creating a production order  I  am using forward scheduling order start date is today and finish date proposed by the system is 07.02.2011 but the problem is in house production time is 10 days. then why the system has proposed finish date as 07.02.2011 instead of 14th or 15th or 16th

    Dear Kumar,
Always system picks the timings from routing when you create production order manually
System will not check the filed in house production time from material master while creation of production order
So check in routing, for the timings that you have given
    It will solve your issue

  • Set the dependant requirement dates to be scheduled to order start date

    Dear Experts,
The components have been assigned to the relative operations in the routing.
During the lead time scheduling, is it possible to set all the required date of the components to the order start date instead of the operation start date? How to configure?
    Thanks,
    Dawson

    Hi,
In lead time scheduling, the precise production times, that is, the target start date and the target finish date, are specified for materials that are produced in-house. Capacity Requirements are also created during lead time scheduling and the date that the components must be provided is also determined.
You have maintained the following parameters for lead time scheduling in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define scheduling parameters for planned orders:
    Parameters for determining the routing
Parameters that determine if and how scheduling is carried out
Parameters that indicate if and how basic dates are to be adjusted
    Then
You have assigned a scheduling margin key in the material master record.
You can define the scheduling margin key in Customizing for MRP by choosing Define floats (scheduling margin key).
If You Assign BOM components to the first Operation then all the components are provided on the Basic start date of the production considering all the floats
    OR
In a situation where different operations are assigned with different BOM components then  we define Lead time off set(+ve on u2013ve value) to have material provision on the basic start date of production order

  • Production order - Master data explosion date

    Dear Team,
I am creating the production order in CO01. While creating the production order, i am choosing the backward scheduling. Since i have selected the backward scheduling, i have given the finish date as "27.02.2012". And in the tab "Master Data", i was refering the field "Explosion Date". The explosion date is been displayed as 20.02.2012 (Routing and BOM explosion date).
How this explosion date been determined based on the scheduling types (forward scheduling, backward scheduling)?. Is any configuration to be done to calculate this explosion date?
What is the importance of explosion date in production order? will it affect the production order? Because in my production order the explosion date occurs in future ie, 20.02.2012. (as mentioned above).
    thank you
    psk

    Dear PSK,
The explosion date refers to the date when the BOM & Routings are exploded on the orders i.e. applied. The explosion date can be controlled based on the settings in the SPRO.
Go to SPRO - Production - MRP - Plant parameters - Carryout overall maintenance for plant parameters  (Transaction: OPPQ).
In the plant pameters for a particular plant and in the tab 'BOM Explosion' we can determine how the system should can calculate the explosion date.
Explosion date is controlled based on the order start date or finish date. If  the production order is added manually the system determines the explosion date as follows:
    Case 1:
If you have specified the order start date on order creation the system takes this date as the explosion date for the bill of material.
    Case 2:
If you have specified the order finish date on order creation the system calculates the explosion date from the order finish date minus the in-house production time defined in the material master.
As per your example it looks like in your system the explosion date is controlled by the 'Start Date' due to which the explosion date equals the order start date.
Hope this is helpful. Pl let me know if you need further help.
    Thanks,
    Satya

  • SNP Planned Order start date in past

    Hi
After SNP run, for the past requirements it is giving avaiablilty data as today but the planned order start date is in past. Now this order fails in CIF as the production version in R/3 is valid from today.
In the strategy profile we have backward+reverse with infinite scheduling. In this case the start date should be todays date for past requrirements... am I correct?

    Hello Abhishek,

  • I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 Plus and the delivery date now says October 14th. The point of the pre-order is to get it on release day (or shortly thereafter). Can I go to a Verizon store to pick up my new phone on release day?

I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 Plus and the delivery date now says October 14th. The point of the pre-order is to get it on release day (or shortly thereafter). Can I go to a Verizon store to pick up my new phone on release day?

I'm not sure that answers the question Candice.
I'm in the same situation.  I was up trying to get on the Verizon page at 11:55, kept getting the ECPD error.  When finally got through, the Silver Iphone Plus 64 showed arrival of 9-19.  At every step of the process, it seemed that I was ordering a phone that would arrive on day1.  At no point did it say this was an estimate.  At no point did it say it might change.  In a big yellow box, it said "9-19".  Ordered it, then got confirmation email stating it should arrive at 9-19.   Seems like all should be good, right?  Order site said 9-19, I've got a confirmation email saying 9-19, done and done.
Then I check the website, and suddenly it changed to 10-14?!?!?!?  I feel like this was a bait and switch.  I was able to pickup an iphone5 in a local store on launch day, and would not have locked myself into a preorder through Verizon if I had known this would happen!
So, that leads back to the original questions.  Lets assume I walk into a Verizon store on 9-19, and there is an available iphone6 plus just sitting there, can I either get that phone as fulfillment of my pre-order.  Or, cancel my pre-order and buy that phone right then and there?

PS:  It seems there are many people you misled this way.  For every person who takes the time to post on this site, there are going to be many many more who are silently ****** off.

  • Bapi or FM or tabel or any standard transaction code for Production order linking to get child production orders based on parent production order

    Dear Guru's,
we have a requirement i.e. user can convert planned orders in to production orders (CO41) based on those production orders we can get Route card( Z Smart form)  presently we are using manual input for that Route card. recently we got requirement for this i.e. make to automatic generation of route card for this requirement we need to get the list of child's production orders based on parent production order
so as per my requirement i need to get all child part numbers production orders based on parent production order number and quantity i tried in MD4C and CO46 but those transactions codes are picking multiple lines also so for this requirement please give your valuable suggestions
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Dear Friends,
    Thanks for your reply,
My business process is MTS purely strategy 10, for route card all components with production orders we can give input as like bellow these production orders are converted from planned orders, between few components are don't have production orders those are F-30 materials, because of this reason i need link for production order to child components orders
