Project stock and MD51 (or MD03) use with nonvaluated materials (ie ERSA)

I am looking for some help on a CBP(consumption based planning project) we are implementing for materials we treat financially as non-valuated in our
business. MD51 works for valued materials with project stock for us in CBP, but not for non-valuated. I am wondering if we are missing master data or
configuration or limitation or MD51 ? Our scenario:
- We are using material types ROH and ERSA with material type configuration for valuation tracking disabled.
- We stock these materials in project stock with a WBS that is non-valuated and assigned via naming to a supplier name.
- Materials are currently being planned on a external to our SAP system , so no CBP running yet.
- Purchase Requisitions and planned orders are coded for "Q" account assignment for ordering and received against.
- I have MRP2 view /individual collective set to '1' for these materials.
I don't see MD51 when being run for the WBS element for these materials even considering these for CBP run. It ignores with no planning
occurring.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Please observe that, even if you have defined a consumption based MRP type for the material, system automatically switches to the standard PD.

I'm getting the following error message when attempting to invoke "Find My Mac"
Some configurations such as a software or hardware RAID do not support a recovery partition and can't be used with Find My Mac.

You have no recovery partition. This is a normal condition if your boot volume is a software RAID, or if you modified the partition table after running Boot Camp Assistant to create a Windows partition. Otherwise, you need to reinstall OS X in order to add a recovery partition.
If you don't have a current backup, you need to back up before you do anything else.
You have several options for reinstalling.
1. If you have access to a local, unencrypted Time Machine backup volume, and if that volume has a backup of a Mac (not necessarily this one) that was running the same major version of OS X and did have a Recovery partition, then you can boot from the Time Machine volume into Recovery by holding down the option key at the startup chime. Encrypted Time Machine volumes are not bootable, nor are network backups.
2. If your Mac shipped with OS X 10.7 or later preinstalled, or if it's one of the computers that can be upgraded to use OS X Internet Recovery, you may be able to netboot from an Apple server by holding down the key combination option-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
3. Use Recovery Disk Assistant (RDA) on another Mac running the same major version of OS X as yours to create a bootable USB device. Boot your Mac from the device by holding down the option key at startup.Warning: All existing data on the USB device will be erased when you use RDA.
Once you've booted into Recovery, the OS X Utilities screen will appear. Follow the prompts to reinstall OS X. You don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.
If none of the above choices is open to you, then you'll have to start over from an OS X 10.6.8 installation. There's no need to overwrite your existing boot volume; you can use an external drive. Install 10.6 from the DVD you originally used to upgrade, or that came with the machine. Run Software Update and install all available updates. Log into the App Store with the Apple ID you used to buy 10.7 or later, and download the installer. When you run it, be sure to choose the right drive to install on.

Reformat external HD and possibly partition for use with mac and pc.

Hi. I’d really appreciate some advice. I’m a new Mac (MacBook Pro mid 2012) user. I’m trying to figure out how to use a new external HD (WD My Passport) that just arrived today in connection with a digital tv media player (NBOX V3) that I use to watch videos on my tv, which is in the NTFS format. The tv box works with a flash drive that I have, which I had to reformat as FAT32. Since I tend to max out the storage on the flash drive I ordered this new hd to use as well.
When I went to reformat the new hd I didn’t see the FAT32 option. There are 4 Mac options, MS-DOS (FAT), and ExFAT to choose from. I read that ExFAT would work with both mac and pc (since I’m using OS 10.8.4 and my pc is Windows 7). I was excited about it too since I know that FAT32 has a 4gb limitation. I reformatted as ExFat first on my Mac and then on my pc. I tried both b/c I read conflicting comments about it not working when reformatting on the mac, but that it would work when done on the pc. Both times I tested the newly formatted hd on the tv box and both times it failed to recognize the files. After the failures I wondered if it was even possible for the external hd to work with the tv box, or if it had something to do with the ExFat format. So, I reformatted it on my pc to NTFS and then plugged it into the tv box, which works just fine.
I could really use some advice. I wish the hd had the FAT32 option. I’m wondering about partitioning. I really don’t know too much about it, but am wondering if this might be the answer to make everything work. I would need everything to work from my mac b/c the pc belongs to my husband (which I’m welcome to use), but all of the files that I load are from my computer (not to mention I’m already “used to” my mac and now seem to fumble around using a pc). This might sound dumb, but I was thinking that if I made 2 partitions (one that would work with my mac and one that would work with the tv box, maybe the FAT option?) then I could load files on the mac friendly partition and then transfer them to the tv box friendly partition. I’m thinking it won’t work so I wanted to find out first, plus I’ve never partitioned anything before. I also know that on another external hard drive that we have for the pc I’m not able to modify the files on it from my mac, although I can see them and extract them. I’m thinking if I partition this new hd I’ll have the same problem with the partition that is formatted as FAT.
Partitioning might not even be an option. If anyone knows a way to make what I want to do work, then I would really appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance.

Digital tv media player (NBOX V3) - NTFS, FAT32/MSDOS
Mac - HFS+, exFAT (formatted on a PC best), FAT32/MSDOS
Windows PC - NTFS, exFAT, FAT32/MSDOS
Problem is if you use FAT32/MSDOS your capped at 4GB sized files and can't use larger storage drives. The other formats have no problem.
The Mac can't write NTFS without further software being installed like Paragon NTFS
I usually try to stick with neutral formats, but if your NBOX V3 doesn't accept exFAT then your stuck.
Perhaps you should see if there is a firmware update for it that will enable exFAT, then format the drive exFAT on the PC and you should be set.

Help! connections for the midi and audio cables for use with Apogee & Logic

Newbie to mac! A Basic question, I know.
I have:
Logic express 8
1 x Apogee Duet
1 x Midi in/out interface.
After my external sound module recieves the midi info stored in logic, it creats an audio signal.
QUESTION!
How do I... monitor this output with my audio recoded files in logic. so audio and midi (final mix) is played together, using the Duet?
I understand that a seperate mixer would do the job, i have one, but i need to keep the music making and recoding process as simple as possible, otherwise i get annoyed with lots of settings and things and give up... for another year!
All I wanna do is:
Record one real instrument at a time. these would be Guitar, Bass and Mic. (ok, simple connections with the duet.)
Record midi keyboard messages into logic, edit, quantise etc. rhave logic send the midi info out to my roland xv 5080, and route the audio out of the xv 5080 with the final mix.
(I dont know if this can be done with the Duet??)??
Whilst advoiding the use of a seperate hardwarwe mixer.
would i have been better going for the Ultralite or something?
Any help is much appreciated as i am struggling to get my head round the basics.

I understand that it can be done this way, but i will be continually swapping leads. Yes a mxer wuld solve this, bu would a cheapish mixer effect the sound quality of the duet?
could i use the digital output on roland and send to the imac's digital in? and at the same time record audio in logic. so basically this digital signal will go into imac into logic then be routed straight to the output that the duet is connected to? Would this work, is there a seting in logic where u can have more than 1 input and send this straight to the main outputs??

What project settings and export settings to use ?

So, after some trial and error i give up and need some huge help. (7.0 Pro)
I have recorded some footage through a game running at 1920:1200 resolution. So the question is what project settings should i choose under project, look at the picture below for example. Some times i get a large black area around the finished video, while one time it came out as a 4:3 vid....

Your pixel aspect ratio and field order are wrong. You want PAR set to "square pixels" and field order set to "Progressive (None)". Do the same for your export settings.

How can I update my student version AF5.5 and Premier5.5 to use with Mavericks

The functionality exists when I use Explorer at work and it worked on Firefox until I took the upgrade. Other "customized" portions of the msn website are missing or not functioning as well.

So do you think this will work? The fact that my laptop has eaten up 3 HDDs now kinda makes it seem like it's a hardware issue... a problem with the motherboard. I gave this laptop to Toshiba in January when I was still under warranty, and I specifically told them that this laptop goes Hannibal for hard drives -which is not normal - and that they should check if there's a hardware issue (it had eaten 2 HDDs at that point). Clearly they didn't do that, though - they just slapped in a new hard drive. If they had listened to me, then my HDD wouldn't be dying every 3, 4 months. I've accepted that I need to buy a new laptop, but I just need something to work in the meantime while I look for one (and scrounge up some cash).
Also, do you think the fact that nothing ever loads on my laptop will have an effect on the Recovery Wizard? I read that if even one thing goes wrong during the recovery process, everything will be completely lost and you can't even try the process again. Obviously I don't want that to happen!
And one more question: it's not 100% clear in the manual and that is what I originally came here to post about - will the "out-of-box" recovery process delete my OS? I have a Windows 7 sticker on my laptop, so I'm pretty sure it was pre-installed... I definitely don't have any disks with me. So even if it does work, will it reinstall Windows 7/MS Office/etc. automatically for me?

Does AppleTV work on normal TVs or is it just Flat/widescreen displays?

There is no composite, SCART or S-video out.
You will need a TV with a component/HDMI input capable of handling 576p (Pal) signals as a bare minimum given your UK location.
It does not have to be a ufll HDTV or a flatscreen, but needs component/HDMI inputs that can accept the 576p signal or above.
Although you may get an image on a 4:3 screen, as Winston says it may distort - it will depend on the TV as AppleTV has no internal adjustments for a non 16:9 screen.
Even though you can get away with a non-HD (or HD ready) set the output will not be as clear at the lower resolution of 576p compared to 720p/1080i/1080p which it can output (it can only process video to 720p but can output this by upscaling at 1080i/p).
