Proxy to JDBC interface with multiple select queries

Hi all,
We have to develop a interface where SAP will be sending a Number based on which we have to fetch the data from the database and send it to back to the SAP system.
The data in database is spread across 6-7 tables/views and canu2019t be fetched using a single query even with joins.
Can anyone please suggest the best way to develop this interface.
As it would be a synchronous interface, I think it is not possible to use multimapping.

IMO, it is not fully feasible to call the oracle function from PI. I would recommend still to use query and construct the following jdbc data structure.

Place your complex join query in the access tag element. Under key tag you can pass values through placeholder element and reference the placeholder element as follows. Sample as follows...

Provider proxy error - Service Interface with multiple operations

Hello experts,
I've a synchronous provider proxy scenario using an inbound and outbound service interface.
That service interface contains 3 operations: create, change and delete a table entry.
I created all the necessary repository objects and integration scenario objects.
Next, I generated a provider proxy on the ECC backend system and created an endpoint via SOAMANAGER.
When I test, I get this error:
No implementing class registered for the interface (ABAP interface, request message ...., request message, namespace....)
I currently use a receiver XI adapter in the scenario. Is that ok?
or should I use a receiver SOAP adapter with a SOAP action?
Please advise.

Selecting data from data base tables into itab with multiple select queries

Hi all,
       i am dealing with a situation where in there is 3 DB tables in all say
          1. ITAB - ZTBL_MAIN.
          2. DB table - ZTBL_SUB1.
          3. DB table - ZTBL_SUB2.
ZTBL_MAIN contains feilds from both tables 2 and 3 so to choose some records from ZTBL_SUB1 into the ITAB a select query has been written as below.
SELECT * FROM ZTBL_SUB1 INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ZTBL_MAIN
    WHERE <condition>.
now i also want some feilds in main for each record to be filled from the other DB table for which if i use another select query after the above one in my report prog. say..
SELECT * FROM ZTBL_SUB2 INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ZTBL_MAIN
    WHERE <condition>.
then all the previous records are going to be erased..Kindly let me know a way in which i can implement the above implementation.

    Ur suggestions solved the syntax error. However my intial problem was not solved i.e., using the statement
SELECT * FROM ztbl_sub2 APPENDING CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE ztbl_main FOR ALL ENTRIES IN ztbl_main
     WHERE <field1> = ztbl_main-<field1>.
creates or appends some more entries into the itab thats all.. But that is not what i am trying to implement.
As explained before the first select query would have filled certain fields for all records in ztbl_main from ztbl_sub1.
Now in the second select query i want to fill other fields of ztbl_main for all the records already fetched using first select query by using my where condition.
The above select query that was suggested only creates new records in the table ztab_main but does not fill the fields of the records as i expected.
how do i fullfil my requirment..

my scenario is : Proxy to JDBC Synchronus with ccBPM
we are fetting data from ECC to PI and same data inserting into DataBase Table Name : ABC via JDBC
after 2 mins i need to get same data from DataBase Table Name : ABC and sending back to ECC with ccBPM.
what are BPM steps required for this requirement and i need to handle the exception handling with control step also.
Table name is same Table Name : ABC in DataBase for request data and response data.
Please anybody help me on this requirement, i am new to BPM scenarios.

Have you checked the JDBC XML request?, you need to check that the XML has all the company codes in the SELECT.

Any possiblity to use single Inbound Service Interface with multiple Receiver Agreements

Scenario: PROXY to FILE.
Requirement is to receive to two locations.
Is it possible to use single Inbound interface with multiple Receiver Agreements. I tried using two operation in the Inbound Service Interface, and Operation Specific in Determination. But couldnt proceed further. Do I need to use seperate Service Interface for two receiver locations?
Please suggest some solution.

There is a possibility but in the case in the same server location with dynamic configuration: Placing file in two different directories using single receiver communication Channel
With different location you would need to develop a new adapter module as Amit Srivastava explains and develops here Send File to Two Different Locations using Adapter Module

how do i take one layer with multiple selections and make those selections their own layer?

Yes sir. It w was really hard to explain. It is discontiguous segments that are separated by transparent areas. And I want those non transparent areas to be on their own layer. I have a photo shop file that has a bunch of buttons on them and they are on a transparent background. It is one layer. I want to select all the buttons and put them on their own layers. I can do this manually by selecting a button and cmd Just to a new layer, but when I have 200 buttons it is a daunting task.

I am new to webdynpro and my requirement is to create a table with multiple selection on.I have to add abt 10 rows in the table but only 5 rows should be visible and moreover a verticalscroll should be available to view other rows.Can anybody explain me in detail how to do that.Please reply as if you are explaining to a newcomer.Reply ASAP as i have to do it today.

1. Create a value node in your context name Table and set its cardinality to 0:n
2. Create 2 value attributes within the Table node name value1 and value2
3. Goto Outline view> Right click on TransparentUIContainer>Apply Template> Select Table>mark the node Table and it's attributes.
you have created a table and binded its value to context

4.Set Selection Mode to Multi
5.Set Visible Row Count to 5
6.ScrollableColCount to 5
In your implemetaion, you can add values to table as follow:
IPrivate<viewname>.ITableElement ele = wdContext.nodeTable().createTableElement();
ele.setValue1(<value>);
ele.setValue2(<value>);
wdContext.nodeTable().addElement(ele);
The above code will allow you to add elements to your table node.

Creation of Server Proxy for Message interface with External Defination

Dear All,
I am getting a problem while generating a server proxy for the inbound interface . The request message used in the inbound interface is a external definition which is uploaded using a XSD file. The XSD file was supplied by a third party which is having very high complex strucuture and used lot of abstract data types in the design. When i tried to generate the proxy in the R/3 system (Transaction SPROXY) for the inbound interface i am getting following error.
Interface uses external and internal message definitions
Message no. SPRX122 *
Diagnosis
In a message interface you can use messages from different sources:
Message types and fault message types edited in the Enterprise Services Repository
Messages imported into the Enterprise Services Repository (external definitions, RFC, IDoc)
In the current message interface, message types from different sources have been used. Since messages from these different sources must be handled differently during proxy generation, such a mixture of messages within a message interface is not possible.
System Response
The interface cannot be generated.
Procedure
Change the interface definition accordingly in the Enterprise Services Repository.
Please guide me, how to generate the proxy for the interface with external defination message. I could nt geneate manullay, because it is having very high complexity and its a big structure.
Is there is any way to generate the proxy for interface with external definition

Hi,
i. Import your message schemas from external definitions, or RFCs or IDocs from SAP systems. These definitions already contain data types.
ii. Create a message interface and reference the messages of the external definition, or the RFC or IDoc message.

How to call a BPS Web Interface with predefined selections

Hi,
I have read and try to implement the "How to... call a BPS Web Interface with predefined selections" but it is not working.
I have one Web Interface called ZXXXXX, then I created one BSP and copied the ABAP code into the Layout screen.
I checked the ABAP and it concatenates and fill the variable l_url, but the page is not displayed.
l_url = /sap/bc/bsp/sap/zxxxxx/zxxxxx.htm
I have checked that I have no errors in the BPS variables and its values.
It just opens internet explorer and the page displays "<<<" in the top of the screen.
I am working with BW7.0 and BPS 3.5.
If anyone can help me it will be rewarded,

I think the problem is in the last part of the code.

It is doing nothing in this point, but the ABAP fills correctly the l_url variable.

what i want to do is to send the selected email address to the invoiceedit.jsp.

Use a form button instead of a link so that you can send it as a request parameter to the server. In the server side just use HttpServletRequest#getParameterValues() to obtain all values for the given parameter name. If you really need a link rather than a button, then use Javascript to submit the form on click of the link.
That said, your design is bad. Java code belongs in Java classes, not in JSP files. Database access logic belongs in a DAO class. Business and controlling logic belongs in a Servlet class. Only presentation logic belongs in the JSP file. Avoid scriptlets as much as possible and use JSP EL and/or JSTL instead.

i was trying the multiple selections part by the command list, but if i select 2- and more it does nothing (i'm using if x is y then *linebreake* else if ...)

Multiple select queries for JDBC sender

I am working on JDBc to IDOC scenario.
I need to process two select queries in PI where output of 1st query becomes the input of second.
Now i need to map the output of second to IDOC through XSL mapping also i need to use BPM to process(without using the stored procedure) the scenario.
In my JDBC communication channel i have option for only one select query and second query should fetch the data through BPM.
In BPM i have used the following sequence mentioned below:
Start --> Receive step ( receives all the header lines) --> Transformation (to split the header messages to single message) --> Block Start( To processEachRecord) --> Send Syn (to map the request message i,e. output of first query with Response i,e. structure of the second query) --> Send Asyn (to send the output of second query to XSLT mapping) -->Block End --> stop
Output of XSLT mapping is the input for IDOC
Now i need to understand how to process the second query?

Use SQL Nested Queries.
Example:
SELECT Model FROM Product WHERE ManufacturerID IN (SELECT ManufacturerID FROM Manufacturer
WHERE Manufacturer = 'Dell')
Here first table is Manufacturer .. we do select query in manufacturer to return data and pass it to the first table Product.

You dont need at all. In your sender jdbc channel, write sql statement nested query and you will get only output of the second table. you map the second table output to the idoc.
Note: Dont know why do you need BPM for this case..
