Proxy to Proxy Interface

Hi there, Im trying to create a scenario where I have 2 Message interfaces and 2 XI adapters. The one message interface has a inbound proxy and the other one has a outbound proxy. There are 2 R/3 systems, In system A I execute a program and the program calls the outbound proxy and sends it an internatl table. XI must then take that internal table and pass it on to the other R/3 system where the inbound proxy is. The inbound proxy saves the data into a sap table. Is this possible? and if so, is there any example I can follow?
Thanx,
Jan

The inbound proxy saves the data into a sap table. Is this possible?
Yes, of course.
First use client proxy
ABAP Proxies in XI(Client Proxy)
And then, server proxy
ABAP Server Proxies

  • Dynamic Archiving in File-Proxy Interface

    Hi Experts,
My scenario is File -> Proxy which updates certain data in the target SAP system. The logic in the receiver side is that, if the update fails, then the input file must be placed in Folder A. Else if the update is successful, then the file must be archived to Folder B.
Has anyone done this before? I know File interface is asynchronous so I'm not sure how to handle such kind of requirement.
    Appreciate any inputs. Thanks!
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
If  i was you i would use a Async/Sync bridge, in other words a File - Proxy - File scenario (without ccBPM). Check a similar scenario here File-RFC-File(Without BPM) - Process Integration - SCN Wiki
Im not so sure if the proxy interface supports this bridge, also you can do two scenarios, File - Proxy and Proxy - File, then inside the ECC  the ABAPers should call the second scenario after the update-

  • SPROXY error testing outbound proxy interface

    Hi,
I am trying to test an outbound proxy interface using SPROXY but am getting the following error:
Apart from the above messages there is no more help available. When I try testing the generated XSLT program using SXSLT_TEST it gives an error "No valid XSLT program supplied". I have checked and the auto generated XSLT program does exist.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Can I supress BPM for Asyn outbound and syn inbound proxy interface

    Hi all,
Is there any other alternate to remove the BPM at asyn outbound and syn inbound proxy interface. Reason because I can create another outbound proxy interface at the receiver. But at receiver side we already invested huge code to develop the sync server proxy. So the intension is, with out disturbing the code Can I make the message flow with out BPM?
Because the reason of removing BPM is for a simple interface like this I don't want to use BPM. souce is JDBC and receiver is ECC 6.0. I know with out BPM it can not be achieved but in PI 7.1 EHP 1 by any chance can we do?
I mean during response mapping from server proxy shall we use look up function to achieve?

This bean I have to use at sender channel right?
    Yes
I mean is it is limited to JMS adapter?
    No
You can find more information in the Wiki which deals with FILE  to RFC synchronous...using the above Module

  • Problem in registering the java server proxy interface...

    Hi All,
I have created a java server proxy(in PI 7.1) using the below mentioned blog:
    /people/prasad.ulagappan2/blog/2005/06/27/asynchronous-inbound-java-proxy
But the problem comes when i am trying to register the interface( on non central j2ee adapter engine) and ends up with getting unauthorization error even though i am having piappluser access. I am trying to register it using below mentioned URL:
    http://ISVSAPPISB:51000/ProxyServer/register?ns=xxxxx&interface=SI_Proxy_IA&bean=localejbs/sap.com/EARServerProxy/SIProxyIA_PortTypeBean&method= sIProxyIA
    xxxx-namespace
So ,please anyone can tell me what authorization should i have in order register my server proxy interface.
    Thanks

    hi,
    >>>2) Plz tell me how to check whether my java server proxy interface got registered successfully or not.

  • Developing AIF Inbound Synchronous Proxy interface

Hello! I'm trying to develop simple AIF Inbound Synchronous Proxy interface, but there is absolutely no information about it. Cookbook just covers async interfaces.
So, I just have Inbound sync ABAP-Proxy. I developed inbound AIF interface, entered the inbound proxy class. My interface is working, FM in Action is calling and works correctly.
    But, I have two problems:
    1) I don't understand, how should I get back a response to the Proxy?
    2) I can't see a payload of my interface in AIF Monitoring.
SP level of AIF is 04.
    Thank you in advance.

    1) I don't understand, how should I get back a response to the Proxy?
I really want to know how did you implement in you proxy class. In general, if you call /aif/cl_enabler_proxy=>process_message, this doesn't support your synchronous interface.
My idea is, in proxy class, you could call  CALL FUNCTION '/AIF/FILE_PROCESS_DATA' to process your input request and add you own coding to get back a response or another function module   /AIF/FILE_TRANSFORM_DATA to transform your own SAP data to your response data structure(This need you to define another outbound interface and mapping).
Brecht is right, this is similar to his outbound synchronous interface.
You could refer to function module /AIF/SEND_WITH_PROXY.  This function module is designed to support synchronous outbound interface
    2) I can't see a payload of my interface in AIF Monitoring.
If you want to see input and output structure in Error Handling, I think you need to use XML persistency engine to save your own payload and save this payload via class   /aif/cl_persist_engine_xml method  /aif/if_persistency_engine~update.
This also could be found in  function module /AIF/SEND_WITH_PROXY for example.
    Best Regards,
    Eric.

  • Outlook anywhere testconnectivity error RPC 6004 (NSPI Proxy Interface)

    Greetings, community!
    We have next Exchange configuration:
Exchange Server 2007 (With last RU) on Windows Server 2008R2. All roles, except Edge, are on this server.
So, we have published OWA, ActiveSync successfully through ISA Server 2004. Testconnectivity tells us that all is correct and it's true)
But we have strange problem with RPC over HTTPS:
    Testconnectivity tells us:
RPC 6004 (NSPI Proxy Interface) and RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE (0x6ba) in the details.
We have already use all receipts from http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2008/06/20/3405633.aspx and http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/Exchange/microsoft.public.exchange.setup/2004-07/1151.html articles.
Enabling expert auditing of NSPI Proxy on Exchange server shows warning when Testconnectivity try to connect:
NSPI Proxy listener thread (ID: 0xfec) could not connect to the server on transport .  The winsock subsystem returned error code:[0xRpc/HTTP].
    RPCPING utility tells us:

    Additional information:
Outlook 2003/2007/2010 can't connect to our Exchange through RPC/HTTPS. But Outlook 2013 do it without any problems!
I don't know where I can continue to dig)

    Hi, Sathish!
    Thank you for reply.
Service is started and IPv6 is disabled. Do you mean SRV-record for autodiscover? We don't use it for external users. We publish Autodiscover same way as Owa and it works correct (interconnectivity).
I enable Expert level audit for NSPI Proxy and there is error:
    Source: MSExchangeSA
    EventID: 9040
NSPI Proxy encountered an error while receiving a packet. The target Domain Controller or the network or a client might be down. The winsock subsystem returned the error:[0x2746]. The circuit that received this error is being closed.
But DC is online and available. I'll reboot server tonight because I think there is a little trouble after disabling additional NIC.

  • Automating Cash Journal Posting using inbound proxy interface and upload program

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where in cash journal posting needs to be carried out automatically by an inbound interface on a periodic basis and at the start during cut over an upload program needs to be used to upload beg balance data . For this purpose I have used BAPI_CASHJOURNALDOC_CREATE to save cash journal entries along with BAPI TRANSACTION COMMIT.
Once the Data is successfully saved I am using FM FCJ_GET_DATA_FOR_SCREEN to get prerequisite data for the FM FCJ_POST_ALL which is used by the Standard cash journal program internally to post the saved data. ( I got this by debugging the standard transaction and both FMs are not yet released )
The issues I am facing is that the the FM FCJ_POST_ALL does not always post the data it behaves in random fashion i.e some times it posts the entries where as sometimes it does not post the entries.
I have tried using commit work after the FM but that also does not result in consistent behavior of the program. One more issue is the i am not allowed to use commit work in a an inbound proxy so how do i proceed ?

  • No messages in SXMB_MONI for outbound proxy interface

    Dear All,
i am executing Proxy-PI-File interface and I am not able to find any message in SXMB_MONI in the ECC side.
I have done all the required proxy configurations and also the ABAP report calling the proxy is working fine but still not able to view data.
Please guide where i am missing.
    Warm Regards,
    Nishant Jain

    1. Debugg your report which is sending data to Proxy. Make sure data is present in the internal table.
    2. Proxy configuration is client specific so make sure the client from where you are running the report has been cofigured for proxy. Check SLDAPICUST & SXMB_ADM settings once again.

  • No response in sysnchronous proxy interface, not delivering

    Hi All,
I have a synchronous contract interface with http to proxy scenario. In few cases like when contract has max line items, it is not delivering to target system and message in RWB Integration engine it is showing  status as to be delivered delivered., also showing in XI sxmb_moni entry as log version  and no response. When messages with few line items its working fine without any issue and getting response back as well. Also , i have same issue in http to rfc scenario.
Can you please help me to fix this issue, how to make these pending messages in XI to deliver to tartget system and get response back.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

First thing is XI is not supposed to use for Mass data uploads.
    for your problem...
did you check Moni on SAP side? check moni of SAP for any errors? if you don't find anyting...go to SMQ2 and check the queues, if you find messages struck in queue, delete them..if you face same problem after refreshing the queue then ask your basis to increase the number of queues.if still your problem presists, then only solution is sending data in small chunks.
i mean you have split data into parts and send it...hope your problem will be solved...

  • Soap-proxy interface

    Hi Experts.
I have an scenrio, i need to design the two interaces, first one is synchronus interface , it get the request from user (wsdl) and post the data in sap (using proxy) , once the data is arrived in sap, an ackownledgement ( error/ status) sent back to user,
the second asynchronus interface is to send the response ( to the request sent from first interface) back to the client system
    ( proxy--> soap used)
my query is how can the  the second interface is triggered in runtime, if i  write the code in report (proxy), do i need to schedule the background job ?
    please explain indetails
    Thanks
    NV

    Hello,
I have an scenrio, i need to design the two interaces, first one is synchronus interface , it get the request from user (wsdl) and post the data in sap (using proxy) , once the data is arrived in sap, an ackownledgement ( error/ status) sent back to user,
Receiving any type of response in a synchronous scenario is already an acknowledgement in itself, so no need to do anything additional here aside from configuring a normal synch scenario.
the second asynchronus interface is to send the response ( to the request sent from first interface) back to the client system
    ( proxy--> soap used)
my query is how can the the second interface is triggered in runtime, if i write the code in report (proxy), do i need to schedule the background job ?
Once you have received the response from the first proxy, use its response as your input to the second proxy. No need to schedule a background job because it will be executed as soon as you receive a response from first proxy.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Problems reading SRM Guid throught PI proxy interface

    Hi all,
I'm facing the following problem: I have to adapt an existing PI interface between SRM4.7 and a legacy system to the new environment in which there is a SRM7.01 and the same legacy system.
I need also to have the two configurations working together for a certain period.
The communication between PI and SRM is proxy (for SRM4.7 either for SRM7.01).
On PI side has been defined a custom outbound interface MT_Rda_From_Srm with Rda fields, where the field GUID is of type base64Binary.
Unfortunately the behavior of the field GUID is different in the two environments: this field is filled different when the abap proxies pass the RDA GUID. I think this is due to the fact that in SRM4.7 the GUID of the EXECUTE_SYNCHRONOUS method of the outbound interface is treated as string while in SRM7.01 the GUID is treated as rawstring.
Debugging abap custom code the value of the GUID appears as a string, while if I look the message in SXMB_MONI the Guid is string in SRM4.7 and it has a value like
    <GUID>TKo6ZBHYAVDhAIAAChAZZg==</GUID> in SRM7.01.
So, when I have to pass this value to the legacy system, it does not correspond to the real value of Rda GUID.
I would like to not change the PI mapping to differentiate the behaviour according to the SRM that sends the Rda data...does anyone know if there is a standard way to work with this kind of data?
    thanks for your help,
    Luciana Agostini

    Hi,
    tnx 4d reply...
    SRM 7.0 contains 2 clients:
Sender: 100 for EBP, logical system is CLNT100
Receiver: 200 for SUS, logical system is CLNT200
both the clients are connected through PI 7.0, logical system of PI is CLNT001.
From SPROXY of 100EBP, i'm executing the outbound proxy, in moni sent msg success.
In PI also msg is processed.
As U asked me to chk... SPRO settings in "Define Backend Systems"..... in which client i've to chk this... & what values needs to be maintained der.... can u pls tell me....

  • Proxy interface always request user and password

    Hi all,
    I have created a interface from R/3 Proxy -> XI -> RFC.
The interface works fine, but I have a problem, whe I execute the interface in the SPROXY transaction and with a report, the system always request for me the SAP Web Application Server  user and password.
    How can solve it?
    Regards, RP

All the configurations for your mails are previously done in the system. The issue has not been solved.
I give you more details. When I do the conections test from SM59 the connection is ok, and not logging is requested. And interfaces with RFC adater works fine too.
The issue is in the Sender call, the receiver call use a RFC Adapter and works. And if you fill the user and password the sender works fine.
    Thanks in advance.
