Pse 13 for mac- Is there a digital download after you buy it disc won't read for some reason. using macbookpro.
I bought the PSE 13 disc and put it in my laptop( macbookpro) and for some reason it won't read… all it does is run and then spit the disc out not sure what to do. Is there maybe a digital download since there is no customer service number to call…

Don't know about downloading message. There seems to be a strange error in something which gives you a message in Japanese when trying to view a PDF from Safari.
The message means "To view this file, first launch (open, start) Adobe Reader (the app, from Applications) and accept the license agreement, then quit". -

Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
Also check Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it has been restricted.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -

OS X already includes a software firewall. Enable it in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
If you are using your own wireless network you are already beyond a hardware firewall, so it is unnecessary and redundant to enable it. Its use is justified if you intend to connect to a public network, or are otherwise using a LAN along with others who may not be trusted. -

You can use the Tab key to select a search engine on the bottom bar and press Enter to use the search engine to do the search.

In the current Firefox 34 release there is a new "one-off" search bar.
This search bar doesn't show the name of the search engine and a logo.
You can type one letter to make a drop-down list appear where you can see suggestions and see the used search engine and that also has bar at the bottom where you can select other search engines that are enabled via the Search tab in Options/Preferences.
You can use the Tab key to select one of the other available search engines and press the Enter key to search with the selected search engine.
Click the search engine icon and click "Change Search Settings" to open the Search tab in Options/Preferences (positioned between Tabs and Content) to select the default search engine and select which search engines to show in the search bar drop-down list that opens when you start typing search terms. -
I just purchased a MacBookPro after having a MacBook. I have ILife, IWorks and Office for Mac. How do I get those programs on to my MacBook Pro? I will still use my MacBook at work so I need those programs to remain on it as well.
You need a Firewire cable to run between the two Macs. Using Utility>Migration Assistant running on your new MacBook Pro, transfer what you want (with all the preferences and such) from your MacBook to your MBP. Here's more info from Apple.
You might have an issue with the Serial number for Office, but hopefully you have that around.

We have version 10.5.8 photoshop CS3 for Mac. How do we fix a problem with photoshop not resizing dpi? For example we resized a 72 dpi image to 200 dpi, when we do a pdf analysis it read as 344 dpi.
Sounds like it's a problem with the Acrobat settings. Did you set them to the same resolution?
