How do I upload to my Facebook business page from Lightroom 4.2?

I am an administrator on a Facebook business page and want to create albums and upload photos on this business page. I access the business page through my personal Facebook page. Lightroom authorises with my personal page and I can upload photos to it no problem but I can't see how to give Lightroom access to the business page. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

If you are using Publish Services that is not available.
Jeffrey Freidl's Plugin will allow you to upload to a Business Page.

I have a Blackberry curve 9360. It is all configured to receive messages from my personal Facebook page. However I cannot seem to set it up to receive messages from my business page which is managed by the same personal page. Is there any way of doing this???

Facebook Business Pages - Admin & Updating

Does anyone know how to update facebook business pages with photo's and posts, as well as carry out admin duties - i.e. the posting appears as a page update rather then a comment post/pic from personal facebook id?

No I need advice from Blackberry on how I can update pages, as it is their device I am using. They are the ones who create and authorise the apps...

LR4 export to Facebook business page

I can't seem to find a way to 'create' a new Album on my business page from within LR4, It seems to automatically place it (as a new album) in the administrators facebook page.
You can upload to existing albums on business pages that you (administrator) owns - but that causes an issue as in Facebook (from Facebook) you can only create an album if you upload an image first- and of course my images are already in LR4.
I basically want to- send up to my business page new albums of my work from LR4 - Should be simple shouldn't it?

We are having the same problem: it seems that FB defaults to the personal account, if you at some point added a separate business page to your account. I doubt this has anything to do with LR or could be resolved at that end.
Unless someone comes up with a better idea I suspect the only way around this is to change the FB business account into an entirely separate one without losing all your followers in the process.

Creating a Facebook Business Page

My understanding is that it has to be tied to a regular account. I think most business (the local ones that I'm aware of at least) create a 'dummy' personal page and link the business to that.

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering if Facebook requires a personal Facebook account already be established in order to create a business page or is there a way to create a business Facebook account? I've been looking everywhere, but the only way I see to create a business page is to tie it to a personal account.

How to share to facebook business page

Elements keep trying to link me to my personal facebook page. Can anyone tell me how to tell it to post to my facebook photography business page? I used to have this option in lightroom.

The reason is you need to change something on facebook page so that all uploads are reflected on a specific page and not on the page that was last used.
I don't use facebook since their new Terms & Conditions so I can't help here. Dreamweaver people may not be able to help either because the page is designed in DW.
I am of course assuming that you have one facebook account with your personal; page and a business page. If this is not so then just ignore my answer and post back so that somebody else can help you out.

How to upload/post videos directly to facebook business pages?

I figured iPhone would be super dialed in as far as managing business pages on social media. Instead I find it impossible to upload videos to my business pages on Facebook from the iPhone 4s app for Facebook. Either Apple has overlooked or is in development on this, or I am the only person in the world who would find this simple feature extremely worthy to managing my business page social media-wise.
So my question is whether there is a way to do this that I just don't know or is this a supreme Apple fail, and if the latter what my options are for urging Apple to add this obvious feature stat? Thanks!

While you can provide feedback to Apple here, www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link, as whytobother has stated, you are discussing the Facebook app, which Facebook is responsible for. Apple does not develop this app, so how can it be their "supreme fail"?

Can LR publish to a Business 'Page' rather than a personal profile?

LR 3.2 Publish to Facebook - "PAGES"

Like most photographer's I've got a facebook page and then a "photography studio page". The way facebook makes you basicly have a "sub account" for promoting your photo business.
I can configure LR 3.2 to publish to albums in my normal account, but I'd like to publish directly to my "professional page" which is linked to the account. It does not have a seperate login... but when I load it up it does show that Lightroom is authorized to publish to it. However, the albums for the "page" are not available in the lightroom publish to facebook area.
Any ideas?

How do I publish photos to my business page on FB

I know how to publish photos directly from iPhoto to my personal FB page - but would like to have the option of uploading them to my business page instead. But as there is only one log on for both accounts I cannot set up a separate FB account in iPhoto (I tried and it just told me I had already registered that account). Often when I choose to share something on FB I am given the choice of either sharing to my personal page or to my business page. Is this possible from iPhot? I know I can go to my business page and then use the browse feature to choose photos to upload; but it would be so much easier if I could do it directly from iPhoto...

Thanks LarryHN - I know I can do this but it does not solve my problem! It would be so much easier if I could upload directly from iPhoto! You don't even need to export to a desktop folder - since you can use the browse feature on FB and then select the photos on your hard drive - but you don't see your photos as well in the browse function as you do in iPhoto - hence my quest to find out if this is possible. There are a number of apps that seem to exist for iPhone and iPad - but I'm a little averse to apps (and as far as I am aware they don't function directly on OSX). Thanks anyway for your input. :-)

How can I share a video only to my facebook band page not my main personal page?

I just got Premiere Elements 11 and had no trouble creating a music video...but when I tried to share/upload the video to my facebook band page, it appears that it will only go to my primary personal facebook page. Maybe I'm missing an available step in the process. The whole point of my getting PE was to make and upload music videos. It's great that the default settings for facebook (H264, 1280 at the wide side, etc.) appear automatically, but there's no other category (save for computer, etc.) that will let me choose those export settings so I could save it on my computer and then upload the video directly to the band page on my own. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, I do not know the requirements for FaceBook, but there should be an instructions page on their main site.
It might well be that one will have to Export/Share/Publish the finished Video, and then manually upload that to the desired page. However, there might be a setting in the dynamic On-Line Upload settings within PrE. For YouTube, and especially if one has an extended account, that Export/Upload workflow gets around the Duration limitation still coded into PrE. PrE was written before the extended YouTube accounts were allowed. My guess is that PrE 12 will include the capability for handling extended YouTube accounts, but then, they might make a change again, with "super" extended accounts, and one is back to square-on with the manual Export/Upload to allow for the even longer Duration YouTube videos?
Maybe someone, who knows the exact requirements for FaceBook can comment, or perhaps posting to a FaceBook Forum will yield the answers.

Iphotos won't publish on facebook?

I have previously been able to post/publish photos from iphoto straight to facebook. Now when I go to Share - Facebbook it comes up with Do you want to set up iphoto to publish to Facebook? Cancel or Set Up. When I choose set up it open a small Facebook window, a blue bar moves (looks like it is loading the photos) and then finishes but only give me an option to Close. When I do, nothing happens, I assume the set up has happened and try to re: share them but asks me the same thing. Pls help?? There are no updates needed on my computer so unsure why this has stopped working for me?

Once I downloaded Yosemite the iphoto does not work anymore. So I went ahead and trash the app and attempted to reinstall.
Did you check, if iPhoto is really gone from the Applications folder? You should not be seeing an "Update", if you do not have iPhoto installed any longer. Make sure, it has been deleted from "Applications".
Then go to the main page of the App Store ("Featured") and search for iPhoto. If iPhoto is now showing as "Free", buy it for free to install it again.
