Purchase Order Status: Invoiced Quantity diregrading the oldewst invoice

Hi Guys!
We have upgraded from $4.6C to ECC6.0 and the following has been noticed by our users: when they first display an existing PO the invoiced amount in Status tab diregards the oldest invoice. When they refresh teh screen, by clicking Other Purchase Order and leaving the number of the PO unmodified, the invoiced amount in status is correct. Does anybody know what can be done?
Best regards,
Ileana

Hi,
please review the following information in SAP Note No. 456691 as
copied below:
18. Question:
When are the header conditions updated if a purchase order item is
deleted?
Answer:
If a purchase order item is deleted, the item is marked as 'statistical'
(field EKPO-STAPO = X) and the change is reflected in the header
conditions.
However, if for the item the final invoice indicator(EKPO-EREKZ) or the
inward delivery completed indicator (EKPO-ELIKZ) is set, the item is not
marked as 'statistical' (EKPO-STAPO is not set) and thus the header
conditions are not updated.
I hope this helps you

  • EBP purchase order status is comming as blank from last 5 months

    Hi,
    Advance thanks for BW experts.
Here is the issue I am facing.
We are extracting shopping cart data from EBP(SRM) daily.
We are using Data source as '0BBP_TD_PO_1' in SRM.
In BW it is coming to ODS '0BBP_PO' for collecting data.
Info source we are using is '0BBP_PO_TD_1'.
The problem is EBP(SRM) Purchase order status coming as blank from last 5 months, we are using every thing standard objects, no routine, i checked in BW side. I found that purchase order status field coming as blank from SRM. It seems to some problem in extractor?.
If any one experts in SRM-BW please help me on this how to proceed?.
for more information PO status filed (InfoObject) in BW is -0bbp_PROPO

    hi,
take a look sap oss note 827638
    check also 824410,809118
    827638
    Symptom
    Status is blank
    Other terms
0BBP_TD_PO_1, PO extractor, I1016, Status rejected
    Reason and Prerequisites
The rejected status is not considered while extraction
    Solution
Got a mail from customer regarding all the possible statuses which is not populated while extraction.
    Status   Populated or not ?
    Ordered                                             X
    Awaiting Approval                                  X
    In Your Inbox
    Release Rejected
    Held                                                X
    Deleted                                             X
    Outstanding Confirmations Outstanding Invoices
    Transfer Failed                                    X
    Confirmed by Vendor
    Partly Confirmed by Vendor
    Rejected by Vendor
Changes Transmitted Obviously we dont report on all these statuses in BW but release rejected might be an important status and BATA (customer no: 169433) needs this status to be extracted through the PO extractor. I am changing the extractor code for this status. In future we can enhance this note to take care of other statuses relevant for BW. For now other statuses seems to be not usufull for BW reporting.

  • Purchase order status issue

    Hi Everyone
I am having an issue with the status of Purchase order. When the Purchase order has single account assignment, everything is fine. But when I create a purchase order with multiple account assignment, the first line item is correct but when I ad second line, the still to deliver quantity gets added correctly but the amounts only reflect the recent item and not the previous one.
    For example:
    Item 10            Quantity 10
Item 20            Quantity 10         CC xxxx         GL account 666666
                                                       CC yyyy         GL account 666666
    Status:    Ordered        20              200
                    Still to deliver 20             100
Please help me with this issue.

  • Purchase Order Status Tab

    Hell gurus,
We have a purchase order where all of the line items have been marked for deletion except for one, however the purchase order status tab "Ordered" amount is not being updated.  However, the to be delivered and to be invoiced on the tab are correct as they read 0.
The status tab is definitely not retaining the entired amount of the original purchase order.  Has anyone encountered this?

  • PURCHASE ORDER STATUS :When Deleting ALL ITEMS.

    Hi experts,
I need  to make purchase order status stay  " Release Compleated " when deleting all items.
Anyone Know How to do it?
Or anyone Know how to use BAPI_PO_CHANGE in BAdI : ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
In my project , I use Release Strategy of purchase orders, and there is a case of deleting all items.
In this situation, purchase order status returns to "Active " and release strategy tab disappears.
    This is our problem.
I need to make purchase order status stay  " Release Compleated " and prevent  release strategy tab disappearing.
I tried to update the fields EREKZ(final invoice) and ELIKZ(delivery completed) in
    BAdI : ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST  Method : PROCESS_ITEM using BAPI_PO_CHANGE according to SAP Note 456691.
But BAPI_PO_CHANGE couldn't update EREKZ because of our customize , and I couldn't find how to use
    BAPI_PO_CHANGE in the BAdI.
Anyone know solutions to solve this problem?
    Thanks a lot.

  • Error -5002, Update quantities in purchase order? (INV1.Quantity) Line[2]

We are trying to create Invoices using the SDK tool for a clients interface. Everything goes ok, except at the point where we add the document, we get the following message:
Error -5002, Update quantities in purchase order? (INV1.Quantity) Line[2]
Any ideas? We have searched the SAP notes, but nothing is available. Are we missing anything?
We are running on Version 6.50.098
    Thanks
    Marios

    Hello Marios,
This error occurs because the last line you are trying to add to the Marketing Document is an empty line. It is a new functionality in Version 6.5 that the document object automatically comes with one document line so if you are adding just one line you do not need to use oDocument.Lines.Add,
It is only for the second and subsequent lines of marketing documents that you require the method oDocument.Lines.Add. Note 722693 describes the issue.

  • Purchase Order Goods Receipt quantity tolerance setting not working.

    Team,
We are using the IS-Oil solution, ECC 6.0 REL 605 SP LEVEL 009 .
The issue that I have is as follows:
Purchase Order Goods Receipt quantity tolerance setting not working, I had set up a 10% tolerance on QTY received in the GR process via the PIR and also the Purchase Value Key in the  material master and also changed the message to a warning in OMCQ for message number M0722.
I  had performed a similar configuration and master data maintenance on a different NON IS-OIL client install and it worked fine.
I believe it is the IS-OIL component in the Inventory update portion of the GR process that is causing the error.
I have searched for OSS notes, however they mention that there is no solution.
Setting the PO line item as Unlimited will not be best practice for the business and will not be used.
Has anyone come across this issue? and how was it resolved, your help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello,
Please check the Tolerance levels in O588
Also you can use the BAdI OIB_QCI_ROUND_QTY: A new method, CHECK_TOLERANCE

  • Purchase order to Asset non imposed the Internal Order.

I'm entering a purchase order of an asset tied to an internal order of investment. The order has a budget X. If I enter a purchase order with value greater than the amount budgeted in the internal order, the system allows me to create the request and not imposed the internal order. In the report S_ALR_87013019, the order has no value released.
How can the system do not allow the purchase of assets with values greater than estimated and how to make that encumbers the purchase order and appear in the report S_ALR_87013019?
This only happens in the purchases of assets!
    Thanks in advanced!
    GLMacedo

My friend, see my answer to witch point.
    1. Your Asset APC account should be Category 90 (Statistical) Cost element
The Internal Order is Statistical (I see in KO03). Should I verify in another place?
    2. your Internal Order must be of category "Investment" and not "Overhead"
    OK
    3. Assign this Internal order in your Asset Master in the field "Investment Order"and not "Internal Order"....
    OK
if Investment Order is not visible in Asset Master, change your screen layout of the asset and plug it in (IMG > AA > Master Data > Screen layouts)
    4. Do settings in T code ACSET - Allow EAUFN for Trn Type = *, Acct Assign Type = APC Postings, and check the Acct Assgn check box
I don´t know how can I do this. How Can I Do?
Allow commitment management in your contr area OKKP and in your Internal order type (KOT2_OPA)
My type Order (investment) in KOT2_OPA is OK (commitment management was allowed). But in OKKP it is not! It is a critical setting. Should I flag this field?
    6. Feield Status Group of Asset must allow CO/PP Order in OBC4
    OK
    Thank you very much!

  • Unit price validation in Purchase Order, Goods Receipt PO and A/R Invoice

    Hello!
I want to have validation of the Unit Price field in Purchase Order, Goods Receipt PO and A/R Invoice documents.
This means that user has to get some kind of message if she/he do not enter the Unit price in above mentioned documents.
I can not use the price lists for this, to get the field populated automatically, because I do not have all the prices...
I am no longer newbie when it come to SAP, but this really puzzles me
    Thanks,
    Dejan

    Hello guys,
I have tried to add this code to check if the field Unit Price was empty in the Purchase Order form (Object ID 22)
But it gives me an error message - Error converting data type varchar to numeric (CINF)
I am getting the same error message even if I have some value in the Unit Price field...
I am really confused - what is wrong with it???
Here is the code from the Transaction notification
    IF (@object_type = N'22' AND @transaction_type in (N'A', N'U') )
         BEGIN
              IF EXISTS (SELECT T1.DocEntry FROM OPOR T0 inner join POR1 T1 on T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
              WHERE (T1.PriceBefDi IS NULL OR T1.PriceBefDi = ' ') AND T0.DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del)
                   BEGIN
                        Set @error =1
set @error_message = 'Unit Price cannot be blank'

System status u2018I2202u2019 is used by object category DML (DML Object types  - Master Data Framework) and status u2018I1817u2019 is linked to AUP (Audit Plan u2013 Audit Management).

I don't think so because those status have their own transaction control (double click onto system status number in BS23 transaction to display it).
So, eitheir manage status profile for user status, or manage your own system status with standard modifications.

  • How to disable Purchase Order Print Preview function in the Portal

We wish to expose some purchase order functions in our SAP Portal 7.0. The problem is that when we run any of the purchase order transactions as SAPGUI for HTML, the Print Preview function displays the full purchase order. This means that any user who wishes to short cut processes can display and then print a purchase order before it has been approved if they use the Portal to display the purchase order.
If the purchase order transaction is run from the normal SAPGUI, the Print Preview function only displays the top of the purchase order and the print function is disabled. Has anyone tackled this problem before and worked out a way of stopping users from using the Print Preview function to display purchase orders in the Portal and then print them?

  • Sales order info and quantity in the invoice accounting document

    Hi,
When saving the accounting document at sales invoicing time, I do not succeed in retrieving information such as the quantities sold, sales order number,... whereas the field status group for the concerned account is activated (optional) for the field "quantity" and "sales order".
Moreover, there is a field I would to retrieve the net weight that is displayed in the sales invoice, in my accounting document. Is this possible?
    Thank you for your help,
    Ronan

    Hi Kapil,
Just commit the data base .Generally when we create any data using fm or bapi it wont commit database. Take the fm and sequentially use another fm if you did this from se37. If you did this from report just commit data base. It will commit data base and create a record. Please close the thread if it is answered.

    Madhu.
