QM "Origin of Results Data" while results recording
Hello there,
We wish to record few characteristics value directly in the batch classification and wish the same to be copied in the associated inspection lot MIC.
In the results recording (QE01), Record Results : Characteristics Single Screen, there is a ResDatOrigin field. According to the documentation, the results data origin is the source from where the results are copied. One of the option contained there is Batch Valuation.
We wish to use the Batch Valuation option to meet our requirements. If you can share any alternate way to achieve the results copying to inspection lot characteristics from batch characteristics, that will be great as well.

Yes, we are not in GLP environment.
We wish to keep our data entry options simplified and hence the request. There are a number of inspection parameters, along with batch parameters, which are recorded at our production operations. We have an effective way of entering batch characteristics values by "Fast Entry of Characteristics Values" by IS-MILL. We do not wish to re-enter the same data in inspection lot again.
We wish the data in inspection lot to be copied from the batch characteristics. The QM inspector can optionally change the results, which will then be copied back into the batch characteristics.
This will allow us to do analysis on QM related parameters with appropriate controls and simplified data entry.
If development is the only answer, what will be the best way to go around for same. Which possible issues to keep eye upon.

Yes you can make user more accountable while doing the Resul Recording(RR) as well as Usage Decision (UD) THROUGH TRANSACTION CODE qe11, qa11, qe51n using "Electronic Signature' functionality.
By this functionality you can also controlled the user while doing RR and UD using Authorisation.
By implementing the electronic signature functionality - you can see who had done RR/UD on what date, time also you can track who had attemted to do the RR/UD using Transaction code DSAL.

Formula Calculation while result recording
While result recording for any Characteristic, the system should calculate some formula to accept or Reject the characteristic.
Eg. Let me take the characteristic as Carbon.
Upper limit 0.100
Lower limit 0.000
My sample size is 3
While result recording I entered the value as
1 0.055
2 0.059
3 0.062
System should calculate the below formulas & the values are in between the tolerance then that should accept or reject the characteristic
X+ H*R
X-H*R
Where
X - Mean value of the Sample
R Range (Minimum Maximum)
H- this is the Standard value given by the customer and it should calculate according to following sample size n
Here Same please size is 3 So the value of H is 1.300
Samle(n) (h)

6 0.400
7 0.330
Now the X+ H*R = 0.068
& X-H*R = 0.050
So the values are between the tolerance limits. So the system should propose to accept the characteristic Carbon

How to sort data in results table(advanced table) based on some conditons
I have a requirement like below I have 3 search columns and 3 sort columns in the page. when user enter values in the search columns I will get results into advanced table. After I got results into results table. User will enter values in sort columns and hit sort submit button, Now the final results data should first display the selected sort values first and remaining data in alphabetical order.
ex: select a,b,c form table1 where a = nvl(:1,a) and b = nvl(:2,b)
results from main query
a , b,c,d,e,f
now user selects a value a1 in column a then results from main query data should display the a1 records first and remaining all records in alphabetical order.
Please let me know how can we approach to solve this problem.

klnThat is what exactly I am trying right now. I am binding each of my page fragment outputText item in to backing bean and by that way trying to populate the values.
But the issue here is, the backing bean method doesn't getting any value until I hit any of the link or the button in the fragment. While loading the page the bean set and get is null. If i hit any link or button it is filled up with the vaule. As per my design, I would like to populate the bean method along with page load before any user action. But cant able to do this!! :(

ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records in SM58
Hi Everyone,
I am testing a file to idoc scenario in my Quality system. When I passed the input file, the mapping executed successfully and there are no entries in SMQ2 but still the idoc wasn't created in the ECC system. When I have checked in TRFC, I am getting the error ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records for IDOC_INBOUND_AYNCHRONOUS function module. I thought this is a data issue and I have tested with a fresh data which was never used for testing in Quality but even then I am getting the same error.Kindly advise.

where 000,001 are domain values of an element (MESSAGE RESULT).
can i use the message class as result? is there a way to anchor the result to the message class?

While updating page getting below error.

Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.

- In page navigation, the setForwardURL is done without retaining the AM
- There is no other user trying to change the values that are just created.
- Doing pageContext.releaseRootApplicationModule(); before commit.
- ObjectVersionNumber attribute of entity object, check the Change Indicator checkbox for this attribute.
Still it is NOT working getting same error.
Any idea, why this error coming.

Stale data error while updating record on extending standard OAF pages
We are on Oracle R12. I have a standard oracle shipped page to enter attributes of an inventory item. This page has an APPLY and CANCEL buttons to post the changes to DB. There is one attribute called FORMULA. To create a formula , I created a new custom page.
I added a custom controller and AM to the standard page and added a new button, "Create Formula" . When the user clicks this button, he can navigate to the new custom page and create a formula. When the user clicks APPLY on this new page, I am navigating him back to the original page , looping through the Entity Object of that page and setting the formula attribute using method
EO.SetATTRIBUTE.
This works fine the first time. Then I click the apply button on the original page, the change is saved on teh DB. Now if I click the formula button again and try to modify the formula, on returning to the original page, the formula is updated but I also get the following error :
Unable to perform transaction on the record.
Cause: The record contains stale data. The record has been modified by another user.
Action: Cancel the transaction and re-query the record to get the new data.
I tried getTransaction().setClearCacheOnCommit(true); after the setattribute but I still get this error . Not sure why this is happening, what I need to do.
Please help . I did not modify any oracle shipped VOs or EOs.

Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLV60U" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
" Information on where terminated
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLV60U" in "VBUK_BEARBEITEN".
The main program was "SAPMSSY4 ".
The termination occurred in line 503 of the source code of the (Include)
program "LV60UF0V"
of the source code of program "LV60UF0V" (when calling the editor 5030).
Processing was terminated because the exception "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB" occurred in
the
procedure "VBUK_BEARBEITEN" "(FORM)" but was not handled locally, not declared
in the
RAISING clause of the procedure.
The procedure is in the program "SAPLV60U ". Its source code starts in line 469
of the (Include) program "LV60UF0V "."
Please assist how to proceed further ..

Export audio to movie....not work (??)
