QSIG Forward Issue

Hi,
I've got problem betwen CUCM and a node of cluster of Alcatel PABX.
On each site, i've got an ISR with QSIG link to local Alcatel PABX.
All the Alcatel PABX is on the same cluster.
When a Cisco User want to call an Alcatel User, he take the local ISR  to QSIG LINK to the local Alcatel PABX.
Cisco IP Phone A : located in site A
Directory number : 1000
Alcatel IP Phone B : Located in site B
Directory number : 1001
Alcatel IP Phone C : Located in site B
Directory number : 1002
Alcatel IP Phone D : Located in site A
Directory number : 1002 (same DN as IP Phone C)
The issue is when the Cisco User, IP Phone A, call a Alcatel Phone IP Phone B located in other Alcatel PABX.
The Alcatel IP Phone B is forwarding to an local Alcatel  IP Phone C.
The IP Phone C don't ring, the call is connected to the Alcatel IP Phone D
Have we a specific configuration on CUCM to forced the call to the distant forward?
Thanks for your help,
Vincent

If you replace "Cisco IP phone A" with an "Alcatel IP phone A", in the same scenario, do both C and D ring ?

  • Quantum Gateway Port Forwarding issues

    This post can be removed.... the port forwarding worked once I set it up under "Advanced Settings -> Network Settings ->Port Forwarding" instead of "Firewall -> Port Forwarding"
    Hello,
    I am having an issue setting up port forwarding.  I have made several attempts to make port forward TCP 8096, but it continues not to work.  I had it working with no problems at my with my old router before we moved so I know it's not an issue with my computer firewall or antivirus and MediaBrowser is working fine on the local network. Is anyone else experiencing Port Forwarding issues?  Also when will DMZ be enabled on this gateway?
    Any help would be apprciated. I'm trying to setup MediaBrowser so I can schedule recordings when i'm not at home.
    Thanks!

  • WRTU54G-TM Port Forward issues, DHCP server disabled but still gives out addresses

    I've seen other posts about port-forwarding issues.  I've had to hard-reset the device twice in 2 months to clear this up.
    One issue that I can't figure out at all is that the DHCP server gives out addresses when it is set to disabled.  This is a problem because it gives out the public DNS servers, which will not resolve addresses on my LAN.  Anyone else seen this?
    Anyone had success putting this router behind a better one and still getting the phone SIM to register and work?

    Have you tried to upgrade the firmware on your Router?
    Click Download  the latest firmware for your Router and save the Firmware file on your Desktop.
    Once you Download the firmware for your Router, Now you need to login to the Router setup page and click on the "Administration" tab and below click on "Firmware Upgrade" and then click on the Browse Button and select the firmware file and click on Upgrade.
    Once the firmware is upgraded successfully then you need to Reset your Router and Re-configure all the settings on your Router from scratch.

  • Iplanet/Servlet Forwarding Issue/Question

    Scenario:
    A directory is protected using Iplanet web server access control (Iplanet Directory Server). User accesses the directory and enters valid user name and password. User is authenticated OK. The file is then posted to a servlet which does a forward to another page in the same directory. The page is not displayed due to a problem with authentication. Code to forward is as follows:
    getServletConfig().getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher(response.encodeURL(pageName)).forward(request,response);
    I check request.getUserPrincipal().getName() and
    request.getRemoteUser(). The first returns the username that iWS is running under, the second returns
    null. Is there a correct way of doing this to avoid the forward from failing.

  • Weird CSS forwarding Issue

    Hi all.
    I am having some weird forwarding issue using a pair of 11503 CSS (Box-to-box redundancy).
    Here is my L3 network topology:
    Internet
    |
    | CP FW-1 |
    |
    |
    |6500-Sup720|
    |
    |
    | CSS 11503 |
    |
    |
    |
    Client
    I have drawn only one device because redundancy is achieved via HSRP on 6500, Active/Standby on CSS.
    Moreover, L2 connectivity is provided by 2 4507 (CSS are connected 1 x 4500 on different vlans), connected to the 6500 via gigabit fiber connections.
    A LDAP server is located on the internet and when the client tries to issue an LDAP query, it could take up to 2 minutes to have the reply back (20 seconds in the best cases). If I move the L3 on the 4500 or the 6500, the request takes form 1 to 2 seconds to complete.
    We have tried both CSS, both 4500, both 6500, different clients with the same results. We upgraded the WebNS to the latest release (7.50.004). We changed physical cables, physical ports on CSS and switches, moved clients on other vlans on CSS, 4500 and 6500 and the results are always the same.
    Neither errors on CSS interfaces, nor on 4500 interfaces, nor on 6500 interfaces.
    I captured traffic via snoop on the Sun Client, and also with monitoring session on catalyst 4500, and when the CSS is routing, I can see lots of duplicate acks, tcp out of sequence, retransmissions which disappear when routing is performed by 6500 or 4500.
    I was wondering if there is anything connected to the L3 1500 bytes size of every frames (the query produces an output of about 600k). We are at the L3 MTU limit... We also tried with ftp, but in that case everything was fine also with CSS. It looks like there something ldap related at least. The ldap query is a normal query, tcp port 389. The command come and go very well, the actual data transfer produces all the crappy tcp output (retransmission, lost segments ecc...).
    I am very confused, CSS is not balancing, it's only forwarding traffic.
    Sorry for my long post, any help will be really appreciated!
    Regards
    Massimo Magnani.

    From your statements i understand that you want to know how to load balance using CSS. Content rules are where the CSS's load balancing features are customized, virtual IP address are defined, and where the actual servers (called services) are bound to that virtual IP address. Content rules allow you to specify load balancing types, sticky methods, port specific Virtual IP addresses, and a host of other features Refer to the following URL to understand how CSS load balancing works and how CSS load balancing can be configured.

  • QSIG Divert issues through 2851 E1 connection

    I appear to have an issue with supplimentary services over a QSIG link to a Mitel SK2000 PABX. The attached two files show the working call through the system and a failed call which should be forwarded onto another system through the QSIG messaging.
    The Mitel SX2000 is configured for QSIG ISO and appears to work fine in all other aspects and can be seen to send the divert message to the router but this then ignores the message to remake the call through to the new number.
    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Sorry its taken a little while to get you the answer but I have been away from net access.
    The IOS is 12.4 17a SP Services.
    The call divert is supposed to take the call to another PBX within the TDM side of the network. It is given a QSIG suplimantry message (call divert reroute) from the Mitel sx2000 and this is either not understood or ignored by the router. The other call diverts appear to work but they are using a different message (call divert forward).
    It appears as though the router can pass the divert information on to a Call Manager solution over SIP but we need this to be done nativley within the router as the SIP phone system is not CCM.

  • New GL carry balance forward issue

    We have a new SAP environment.
    it was created with new GL Active, however we have not done any document splitting.
    The update to GLT0 was deactivated.
    We are running a year end, and i would normally use t code f.16 to carry forward the balances.
    I cant run this as it says the update to GLTO is not active.
    Therefore the question I have is how do you carry forward balances in the new GL?
    What is the t code? is there a different t code for F.07, which is for payables and receivables?

    OK
    After running the new program I get the following message
    Fiscal year variant BF is not maintained for calendar year 2008
    Message no. FGV002
    I have looked on OSS regarding FGV002, and it seems to point to some Controlling issues
    Do you know about this as well, or anybosy else?

  • WRT1900 Port Forward Issue

    Im hoping this can be resolved quickly. Last night I found out my NAT on xbox one is set to moderate.
    And I am having trouble following port forward quides.
    I reserved a DHCP for my xbox one in network map and seemed to switch to Open NAT not sure if this fixed the party issue I was having earlier.
    Moving on if I am to forward the ports do I go to port range forwarding and use the IP address reserved from the network map?
    Essentially is a static IP and a reserved DHCP the same thing?

    Try to disable the dlink camera then try to use the websites like: www.mydomainname.com,  www.mydomainname.com:81,  www.mydomainname.com:80, and others to see where they are getting directed.
    Second let me know the IP address of NAS, Web Server and the Camera..As well as try to disable the UpnP in the Router web UI..

  • EA2700 port forwarding issues for DVR access

    So start this off I searched these forums for answers and new here but not to the router world, I have been having issues lately I set up a DVR and need to view remotely, ports are 7000 and 8080, I setup DVR on a static IP and it can access the internet and I can ping the DVR internally than I go into router and port forward those ports on DVR's IP address disabled upnp I setup dhcp reservation on DVR's IP but when I check can you see me.org it shows those ports are closed for my external than I check port 80 and shows closed looks like all my ports are close is there some firewall in this router that would do this please help

    If the ISP modem has a built in router, it's best to bridge the modem. Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems: Link>http://www.practicallynetworked.com/networking/fixing_double_nat.htm and http://cognitiveanomalies.com/cisco-nat-how-nat-works/. If the modem can't be bridged then see if the modem has a DMZ option and input the IP address the router gets from the modem and put that into the modems DMZ.
    Glad you got it working. Enjoy.

  • Bit Torrent port forwarding issue and DNS resoluti...

    Good morning comunity!
    Something odd has happened and I was hoping for some further guidance as I'm not sure what my next steps are.
    Background
    I have uTorrent running on a a machine that accesses a private RSS feed of torrents I am watching. The client sees a new file posting and automaticlly downloads the .torrent file then proceeds to download the main file itself.
    When I had BT installed back on 23 Decemeber I set up port forwarding to this machine, using a static IP, and there were no connection issues.
    What has happened
    The previous evening as I was going to bed I checked the machine and the active torrents and all my files were sitting at 0 connections for connected seeds & peers. Meaning that uTorrent wasn't able to see anyone to conenct to.
    My Troubleshooting
    After seeing the above I began checking my connections and set up on the router as well as the machine. uTorrent has within its preferences a port checking utility for its assinged port and that was showing no open connection. I then logged in to my HH4 and verifed my port forwarding rules: nothing had changed there.
    I removed and re-added the rules, turned off UPNP as well as turned it on with no success. And during the process of adding the rule back into the system I recieved an error stating that the port was already assigned even though at that moment there were no active assignments. So I changed port numbers and the issue went away.
    I then went to chack the private torrent site and the page would not display. Then went to Down For Everyone Or Just Me to check the site as well and it was reported as being up. I loaded my VPN connection to bypass BT's network and I was able to visit the site. Logged back out and did a trace and the trace reported to route to the site. Changed my DNS to Google's DNS setting and was able to access the site.
    Where I am now
    My torrent machine is now running via the VPN but it's not the best connection in the world as changing the DNS there did not resolve the torrent connection issue.
    Does anyone, especially you folkd familar with BT and their practices, have reccomendations as to what to try next or what the issue may be?

    A lot of torrent sites are starting to be blocked. Its possible the site in question is being blocked by BT(They have no choice in this as its being forced onto them by a court order same for most of the other big ISPs). If its being blocked you would still be able to access via a VPN so long as thats not being blocked too. In terms of what you can do about it not much other than keep using the VPN.

  • NAT Port Forwarding Issues

    I am running a Mac Mini Server with 10.6.4 and have just the Firewall and NAT services running on this computer at this time.
    I have two ethernet connections on this computer. One is the built in adapter (en0) and the other is the Apple USB 100mbit adapter (en2). The en2 adapter is plugged into the internet gateway from my ISP with a static addresss (something like 333.333.333.1) and the en0 adapter is connected to my switch with an internal address (something like 10.0.0.1). I can go out to the internet from the computer and also see it from my internal network, which means that from a network prospective, it is properly configured.
    I enabled the NAT service with the Server Admin tool by clicking the "IP Forwarding and Network Address Translation (NAT)" radio button. I selected the USB Ethernet from the "External network interface" and checked the "Enable NAT Port Mapping Protocol" from the options.
    After that I followed the directions of adding the following lines to my natd.plist from the /etc/nat/ directory:
    <array>
    <dict>
    <key>proto</key>
    <string>tcp</string>
    <key>targetIP</key>
    <string>10.0.0.123</string>
    <key>targetPortRange</key>
    <string>80</string>
    <key>aliasIP</key>
    <string>333.33.333.1</string>
    <key>aliasPortRange</key>
    <string>80</string>
    </dict>
    </array>
    I also left the top part of the plist file as such:
    <key>clamp_mss</key>
    <true/>
    <key>deny_incoming</key>
    <false/>
    <key>dynamic</key>
    <true/>
    <key>enable_natportmap</key>
    <true/>
    <key>interface</key>
    <string>en2</string>
    <key>log</key>
    <true/>
    <key>log_denied</key>
    <false/>
    <key>natportmap_interface</key>
    <string>en2</string>
    <key>proxy_only</key>
    <false/>
    <key>reverse</key>
    <false/>
    <key>same_ports</key>
    <true/>
    <key>unregistered_only</key>
    <true/>
    <key>use_sockets</key>
    <true/>
    The section I added is correctly located directly above the final </dict></plist>.
    Unfortunately, this does not work and according to the directions from Apple this is exactly how you are supposed to be able to enable port forwarding. I have also opened up the port 80 on my firewall to allow incoming requests. When I go to the external IP address for that server it just sits and waits forever and nothing is resolved.
    If someone has experience with this issue please advise.

    Gateway configurations are problematic with Mac OS X Server.
    (There are many previous discussions around the forums.)
    Getting this to work is fussy, at best.
    You can also end up with ports unexpectedly open.
    An external firewall is usually the easiest choice.

  • Parameter passing and forwarding issues with 10.1.4 JSR 168 portlets

    Hi,
    I'm using version 10.1.4 version of Oracle Portal Server, and am trying to move a JSP web application to a JSR 168 compliant portlet.
    I am experiencing these issues:
    1. There are <form> tags in my JSPs. I've set the action attribute to "<portlet:actionURL>". This works okay and I can see the parameters in my processAction properly. However, if I modify the action attribute to "<portlet:renderURL>", I do not see any parameters in my doView(). Is this expected or a known bug?
    2. As a workaround of the issue #1, in my processAction, I'm using response.setRenderParameter(). This works but has a serious side effect: the first set of values set are set permanently for the session. Subsequent submissions of my JSP fail to alter the values. Is this expected? This problem is not there if setRenderParameter() is not used.
    3. My JSPs use request.setAttribute() and request.getSession().setAttribute(). I don't see these attributes in my processAction using request.getAttributeNames(). Is there another way of retrieving them?
    4. In my JSP, I have this code in a method declaration:
    String forwardPage = "hello.jsp";
    RequestDispatcher forwarder = request.getSession().getServletContext().getRequestDispatcher(forwardPage);
    forwarder.forward(request, response);
    This results in an exception on the server:

    I've tried moving the page around and using request.getContextPath() and getNamedDispatcher(), but same error.
    This is supported, right? I saw some old messages about this being a bug on the PDK side.
    Actually, using forwarder.include() works, but causes other issues
    Any ideas what I can try of any of these will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Anupam,
    I can help you with question #2.
    I believe that the issue is an artifact of the interpretation of the JSR-168 specification by Oracle. I discovered that the setRenderParameter basically ends up sending a redirect back to the browser with the render parameters in the URL. This raised security concerns as you may have wanted to pass some sort of internal data from your action to your render request. The parameters in the url "hang around" once they are there so your portlet keeps recieving them. Based on this behavior I have decided to not use setRenderParameter in Oracle portal.
