Query of catalog in order operation tab

Hi experts
I have a question of catalog in order operation tab.when pressing the 'catalog' button,
system prompts "No catalog could be determined",
could you explain how to do it's configuration and the business scenario when we need
to use such catalog.

You can create internal or external catalogues similar any any internet based shopping site. The catalogue can have stock and/or non-stock components which you add to your shopping trolley.

Order Operation Table

Hi,
We are creating Function Module for one client requirement, where we need to make some changes in Order operation tab, on the basis of the existing operations.
So please tell me,
From where (Database Table) these operations in operation tab of order get displayed?
T.Code : IW32,
Wish to know database table for operations on a particular order number.
E.g. Table contains Order Number, Work Center, Control key, Text etc.

We have already used these tables, but we were not getting Work Center in the Operations and Scheduling data from this table. But now our problem is get solved for data gathering.
I have ABAPer with me,
We have built functional module for our requirement. Now we want to link this with Order processing (probably through User Exit) But we both have not worked on this issue.
flow should be like this,
IW32==> When User status is changed to E.g. "INIT - Initiate" and pressed "Save", then this functional module should get executed.
How to this automatic triggering?

Default control-key for order operation.

Hi gurus,
My requirement is: in the order operation tab I want control key to be defaulted (say PM09) and user would be not allowed to change it.
For this I have created PM09 as control key in Work Center default values tab, but my second requirement to disallow user to change it is not working!
Is there is any specific setting, pls tell me how to do it.

Please find my requirement and input your possible solutions!
Requirement: My Client is having some contract workers for some jobs like cleaning and fixing small issues and are paid via service entry sheet. Now how we can map these workers?
For this I made one workcenter (say 100MC) and in default values tab I assigned Control Key (say PM09, with settings confirmation possible but not necessary and indicators, Scheduling, Det. Cap. Req. & Print checked).
As this control key is marked default in WC it will be copied in order operation but problem is it can be changed irrespective of workcenter.
I want it to be defaulted and to be unchanged. If control is to be changed user has to change workcenter.
I am open for any solution via authorization objects or via user exit.

How to customize standard text in operation tab of PM order

I have question in SAP PM:
In operation tab of PM order we have standard text, rt now i m using fresh system...kindly let me know how to enter values in that so that when i take drop down i'll see those values.
Kindly reply with the path, for customization and t-code or path for master data both.

Use of field 'StartPoint' in work order operation's 'Dates' tab

Hi,
Can someone please explain me on the uase of field 'StartPoint' on work order operation's Dates tab.

Start point will be used in case of scheduling for the operation.
By mentioning the condition & date, while doing automatic scheduling, system will change the start date of the operation & correspondingly finish date.
Note: This will work only when Automatic scheduling is ticked for the control key.

Work Order field define and display in Operation TAB

I have a question about the user field define in work order's operation:
I define the user field in the standard IMG for operation's Enhancemen use. but the field can only display in the operation's details' Enhancemen Screen.
What I want is the User field can display in the Operation list screen.
BTW:what does the Equipment numnber in Operation TAB 's meaning

Hi,experts,
i need to enter work time in operation tab pages of maintenance order followed by two decimal digit like 2.55 mint or 2.65 H.System is not allowing to enter two or more than this decimal digits,it is allowing upto only one decimal digit like 1.5 H,2.3 min etc.How can I enter value like 2.56 min.Client is not accepting to enter after converting the unit.this is required for one of my specific scen.please suggest how I will enter 2.55 min or 2.55 H etc.thanks in advance.

As standard the field is set to 1 decimal place.
You cannot change this value without modifying your system (not recommended)
I think you can enter more decimal places in the confirmation documents e.g. IW41

WCM Work Operation tab is disappearing in Maintenance Order

I am facing problem in WCM.
In the Maintenance Order,Work Operation tab is disappear after seleting Task list.
After saving the maintenance order and open in change mode,The WCM operation tab appears again.
Can anybody help me on this

Work/duration in the operation tab of PM order

Dear all,
Why earliest finish - earliest start is not equal to duration but equal work in the operation tab?
The work is the total number of hours for the operation. The duration is the hours per person.
work = duration * number
If the work is done by two Electricians together ,I think it should be equal to duration.
If the work is done by two Electricians one by one ,I think it should be equal to work.

Does it relate to the work center formulas which is filled in the scheduling tab if work center? ...

PM Order Operations Default Unit of Measurement

Halo Experts,
We have a problem in UOM for PM/CS order operations. We have defined HR as default value of UOM for operations in IMG.
Business wants to change at the order level to H as UOM and it is manually keyed in and saved. But when we check with the F4 option for Unit of Measure " H" doesnt appear where as HR appears.
Any restrictions in displaying all the unit of measures. Can anybody clarify why "H" is not appearing on F4 option in the work order operation line items.

We are getting the default unit in operation tab and all the config of default values is available but when we execute the F4 option the unit "H" is not appearing where as if we change from HR which is a default unit to H it is getting saved at the operation Tab.

Standard report for User defined feild in order operation

Hi all,
do we have any standard report? for User defined field in order operation. actually we have User defined field in task list and same could be reflected in order operation. so i am using those user defied field to record extra info in maintenance order. i am wondering how to get the reports . do we have any standard reports?

I have utilised 3 user fields & activated order enhancement tab. I could find these three fields in report IW37N & IW49N. I m using ECC 6.0 EHP4. Try to set the layout & look for fields - user field for quantity in the layout. For this please maintain some data in these user fields of some orders and then check for those orders in t code- IW37N & IW49n.

Assign equipment to work order operations

What configuration is needed to be able to assign a equipment to work order operation ?
I already have few equipments assigned to a work order (displayed on the objects tab) but I need to assign some equipments to certain operations.

You would need to be in ECC6.0 to be able to do this. This should be available through SPRO under PM> Maintenace and service processing > Functions and setting for order types > Define notification and order integration.Within this you would need to enable the assignment of operations to object list for specific order types.

How can I set Earliest Finish Time of Maintenance Order Operation

I have set the following parameters under work center capacity tab.
Start: 07:30:00
Finish: 16:30:00
Length of Break: 01:00:00
No. of individual capacity: 1 (same will be maintained in order operation)
Capacity utilization: 100
Relevant for finite scheduling: Check on
Can be used for several operations: Check on
Long term planning: Check on
and have also set Parameters on OPU7
When I assign this work center on two operations of order having work defined as 8 & 8 respectively and put refresh order scheduling, then order header copies the following date and times from operations.
Schedule start date and time as: 13.12.2011 & 07:30
Schedule finish date and time as: 14.12.2011 & 16:30
But when I assign this work center on two operations of order having work defined as 8 & 7 (or any odd number) respectively and put refresh order scheduling then why order shows the following difference in schedule finish time that copies from 2nd operation?
Schedule start date and time as: 13.12.2011 & 07:30
Schedule finish date and time as: 14.12.2011 & 15:22
Can I exactly get 15:30 by using standard functionality of automation scheduling (Not forcefully)?
Please also tell, how can I bring Calendar Selection for Order field on order header?

From within the work order, click the "Show further scheduling data" button to the right of the Priority field. If you change the calendar selection to "1" (From Order Header), you'll be able to enter the factory calendar ID.

Default Value in Operation Tab for Work and Numbers

Hi All,
When i save maintenance order, Work and Number column in operation tab defaulted with values as 2 & 1. Due to this duration is 2HR.
Calculation key is set as Calculate Duration in configuration.
Any Idea how Work and Number column in operation tab defaulted with values as 2 & 1 ??

This is not standard..
Go to the Planning tab and click on the <SELECT ALL> button to see if any task lists have been automatically assigned. If so, then have a look at user-exits IWO10020/21.
In addition to the checks above, also check if you are using transaction variants or GuiXT.
