Query Regarding Multi-Message Mapping in Interface Mapping.

Hi All,
I've a query that can we use Multi-Message Mapping in Interface Mapping if:
One mapping structure is simple one-2-one mapping and
Second mapping is calling a stored procedure.
Please give me some links if the answer is YES.
Thanks in Advance.

Sreedhar.

Hi,
Your question not clear buddy..what i understood is..
If you want execute multiple message mappings in Interface mapping we can ,just add two mapping programs in interface mapping.first mapping program output is input to the second mapping program.
If first mapping program is very simple,if you want to execute stored procedure in second level mapping write used defned fun ction to conect to data base or create JDMC receiver communication channel ,cal the communictaion channel in udf.write stored procedure in UDF.
SEARCH for more info in sdn how to perform DBLOOKUPS.

  • Multi-Message Mapping based on value of field - (Without BPM)

    Hi.
    I am having a bit of difficulty with multi-message mapping without BPM. I want to map to message1 & message2 based on a field in the rows of the source structure.
    e.g.
    row1-Source-Field1=> (if equal 0)   => <b>Message1</b>-field1.
    row2-Source-Field1=> (if equal 10) => <b>Message2</b>-field1.
    To attempt to do this, I use the conditions in the graphical mapper:
    if row-Source-Field1 = 0   => Map "Row to MessageType1".
    if row-Source-Field1 = 10 => Map "Row to MessageType2".
    However when I test this the mapping only seems to consider the first row value in row-Source-Field1 and ignores the fact that row two has a value of 10. I think this has something to do with contexts etc..
    I would appreciate any help please.
    Regards.
    Mick.

    in that case try this out
    row1-source-field1 (remove context) -- UDF -splitbyvalue-target
    UDF1(for message 1)
    for(int i=0;i<field1.length;i++)
    if(field1<i>.equals("0"))
    result.addValue(<field to be mapped><i>);
    UDF2(for message 2)
    for(int i=0;i<field1.length;i++)
    if(field1<i>.equals("10"))
    result.addValue(<field to be mapped><i>);

  • Query Error in Message Mapping

    Hi everyone
    I am working on a BPM, that BPM has a  Message Mapping that makes a Query to a DB.
    When I send a message with multiple details its working in the following way:
    1.- If the first detail makes a query of a catalogue that exists on the DB, and the second detail makes a query to a cataloge that does not exists on the DB it finishes with error.
    2.- If the first detail has the query of an unexisting catalogue on the DB, and the second detail has the query that exists on the DB it finishes correctly.
    Can someone give me some light on whats happenning here?

  • Multi Message Mapping without BPM: Limitaions

    Hi Crew,

    I understood that there cannot be multiple receiver services.
    This message splitting can be done only with one sender and one receiver business services (with many communication channels) without BPM.
    Am I right?
    Are there anymore limitations than this?
    Regards,
    Karthik kaveriselvan.

    <i>select multiple receivers using the + button.</i>
    one sender service.
    two receiver service referring to one target interface each with one communicaiton channel each.
    Two interface determination for two business services and they both are refering to the same enhanced interface mapping.
    Created receiver determination and added the two receiver service to it, but when looking at the configuration overview for receiver determinaiton, for each service, both the target interfaces used in interface mapping are listed and the reciever determination shows "Does not exist".
    When I run the scenario, I get "No receiver agreement found" error.
    Please calrify how many receiver agreements have to be configured and how?

  • Query regarding Error Messages

    Dear All,
                Anyone please tell me how to display 'Error Messages in PCUI'.
    I tried using " Message MESAGEID type MESSAGETYPE number MESSAGENUMBER " but it did not work.
    Please provide some pointers on the above.
    Regards,
    Vijay

    You can use the the function module  'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT' to add a message to the application log. These are then displayed in the pc ui.
    For example if you are in an application like opportunities which is working on a one order object you can use something like the following to display a message :
    message w123(mymessageclass) into lv_dummy.
    call function 'CRM_MESSAGE_COLLECT'
            exporting
              iv_caller_name = gc_object_name-orderadm_h
              iv_ref_object  = iv_header_guid.

  • Query regarding the message being set for out of office in core reply body

    Hi I am using this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/hh532556(v=exchg.80).aspx for setting the automatic reply message out of office.
    The issue i am facing is that newline characters seem to be ignored by ReplyBodyMessage property http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/exchangewebservices.replybody.message(v=exchg.150).aspx
    Its replacing the new line chars with a space char. Is there some way around this of making message property accept newlines etc.
    Any sort of direction would be great help
    Thanks
    Madhur

    You should be using HTML Markup if you want to put new lines in eg
    OofSettings oof = service.GetUserOofSettings("[email protected]");
    oof.ExternalReply = "test line 1<br>test line 2<br>test line3";
    oof.State = OofState.Enabled;
    service.SetUserOofSettings("[email protected]", oof);

  • Does the message mapping editor insure that a valid target message is co

    Hi Friends
    Does the message mapping editor insure that a valid target message is constructed?
    Regards
    Sam

    Samuel,
    Message mapping editor ,will generate the output as per your logic. Hence you need to validate and check whether the target message has been created correctly.
    If you say," I'm perfect with the logic, I created the mapping I checked the target strcuture, its perfect, always the data will be populated correctly?" If the above is your question, then the answer is YES.

  • Interface Mapping VS Message Mapping

    What is the meaning of Interface mapping and Message mapping in real business?
    I think it is something like the difference between the class and object. object is an instance of class.
    While talking about the mapping, there are the source interface and target interface. Can two source intefaces map to only one interface, and what about the vs verse? And how about the message mapping?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi -
    First, an Interface Mapping is not only linked with "Message Mappings" (which is the XI term for a mapping created with the XI graphical tool), but any other XI supported mapping type (e.g. XSLT, Java, or ABAP).  So basically, an Interface Mapping is used to link a source interface to a target interface via a mapping (of any of the supported types).  At runtime, you can't have an interface mapping without a mapping and a mapping without an interface mapping - they need each other.
    <i>>>>Can two source intefaces map to only one interface, and what about the vs verse? And how about the message mapping?</i>
    Yes, the ratio of source to target interfaces are n:m.  In those multiple cases, Multi-Mappings are typically involved as mentioned in the previous post.
    Also, remember that in one interface mapping, you are not limited to one mapping.  More than one mapping (of any type) can execute in the sequence you have set up in the Interface Mapping.  However, watch out for performance in these back-to-back(to-back) mappings.

  • Problem while using Parameters in Message Mapping in Multi Mapping Scenario

    Hi,
    I am working on a scenario in PI 7.1, in which I need to pass output of Message Mapping as an input to ABAP Mapping.
    In Message Mapping, I have used standard RFC Lookup function to call a Function Module from ERP system. For using RFC Lookup function, I have created a Import Parameter of Category "Adapter", and Type "RFC" in the Signature Tab of Message Mapping.
    In Operation Mapping, I have specified both the mappings (that is., Message Mapping and ABAP Mapping).
    In Interface Determination, I have also assigned a value to the Importing Parameter.
    But whenever I trigger a message, it fails and gives message "The input-parameter Rec_RFC_ERP does not exist." (Rec_RFC_ERP is my Input Parameter name).
    When I am using only Message Mapping in Operation Mapping; it's working absolutely fine that means something needs to be done with ABAP Mapping.
    Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Varun

    Rec_RFC_ERP is this the name of your RFC lookup adapter?? Did you test your mapping in Design time using the RFCAdapter dropdown???

  • XI Configuration Design questions with multi-mapping message mapping object

    Hello,
    I'm having trouble designing a particular scenario for multi-mapping.  Currently i'm working with a Vendor create and change.  BPM is not being used.
    This is what i need:
    I need a CREMDM04 to turn into one or multiple ADRMAS/CREMAS IDocs and potentially a CLFMAS IDoc based on the values in the inbound CREMDM04 IDoc.
    This is what i currently have:
    A CREMDM04 inbound idoc is multi-mapped to a CREMDM03 (1...9999), another CREMDM03 (0...9999), and a CLFMAS01 (0...9999).  At a minimum only the first CREMDM03 IDoc will be created and at a maximum all three will be created.  The parameters on creating the second CREMDM03 IDoc and the CLFMAS01 IDoc are based on the values in the inbound CREMDM04 IDoc, whereas the first CREMDM03 IDoc will always be created and the values will just be converted/mapped from the inbound CREMDM04 IDoc.  This multi-mapping is currently set-up via a graphical message map and works successfully in the test-tab of the mapping object.  It has a main message and has sub-messages which are the IDocs.  I’m mapping the CREMDM04 to a CREMDM03 to then map it through an ABAP-Class and then to an XSL where the CREMDM03 inbound structure is expected to split into ADRMAS and CREMAS Outbound IDocs for Vendor Create/Change in the remote R/3 systems.
    After the graphical map we have a necessary ABAP Class call that calls a BAPI to the remote system.  This ABAP Class must come after the graphical map since the parameter for the BAPI is based on a converted value from the graphical multi-map.
    After the ABAP Class call there is finally an XSL message split the CREMDM IDoc into an ADRMAS and CREMAS IDoc.  There need to be two interface mappings (one per ADRMAS and CREMAS) since the ABAP classes and XSLs are specific to the ADRMAS and CREMAS.
    The CLFMAS IDoc can go directly to the remote system, but since it’s within this one multi-map, I’m not sure if is possible?  I’m not sure if it will fail once it tries entering the XSL mapping (this is the standard CREMDM message split offered from SAP).
    There are three interface mapping scenarios I can think of, but cannot get to work:
    CREMDM04 to ADRMAS02
    CREMDM04 to CREMAS03
    CREMDM04 to CLFMAS01
    Currently I have the Interface Mapping structured as follows:  (I cannot get this to activate as it appears it does not work)
    Multi-Mapping ==> ABAP Class Call ==> Standard XSL Message Split
    How should i design the interface mapping objects and the configuration objects for this scenario?
    Any help is appreciated and I definitely will reward points (no need to include it in your response).

    Hi,
    I suggest you may use multiple steps interface mapping. It's composited with 3 message mappings as step by step.
    Mapping 1: One to one mapping. For the output schema, use a composition schema which includes those 3 IDOCs you want.
    Mappign 2: ABAP Mapping. I am not sure the ABAP class you mentioned is an ABAP mapping or not. If it does, That's ok. If not,
    call that ABAP class in your ABAP mapping and do corresponding change for your message. Return back the same structure as output.
    Mapping 3: One to multiple mapping to split the message.
    So basically as interface mapping, it's one to multiple mapping. And internally, you have 3 steps to realize the mapping.
    And as my experience, for both one to multiple message mapping & multiple steps interface mapping, it works well in my project. And
    in ID, you have to configure it via "advance" function in receiver determination or interface determination.
    Let me know if any confusion.
    Thanks
    Nick
