What do you refer to as BO ? SAP Business One could be simplified as SBO or B1. Only Business Object could be BO. Post your question there if that is true.

Query regarding the conversion of DME file in MT940 format.

Hello Experts,
I have a query regarding the generation of MT940 file after generating the payment file from other DME tree.
After completion of payment run, my payment file is generated in the DME format which is according to the DME tree.
I want to convert the DME file (which is generated via F110) from existing format to the standard MT940 format.
Is there any standard program which converts the DME file to MT940. If so, please inform me as early.
I have tried to upload the DME file in FF.5 transaction, but it is not allowing me to convert the file in MT940 structure.
Or please inform the steps how i can convert the file .

i have a query regarding the data type for fetcing records from multiple ODS tables.
if i have 2 table with a same column name then in the datatype under parent row node i cant add 2 nodes with the same name.
can any one help with some suggestion.

Hi Mudit,
One option would be to go as mentioned by Padamja , prefxing the table name to the column name or another would be to use the AS keyoword in your SQL statement.
AS is used to rename the column name when data is being selected from your DB.
So, the query Select ename as empname from emptable will return the data with column name as empname.

Query regarding the fields details in particular form for all the users in

Dear All,
I have one query regarding the fields details in particular form for all the users in company.
Let take an exapmle if i had created Purchase Order having fields in content tab as 1.Item No. 2.Quantity 3.Unit Proce 4.Total 5. Location.
While Login in User manager i set these fields only for Purchase order , but when i login from other user and open the similar purchase order the defaults fields are also seen including above 4 fieds .
Now my question is how to set the User choice fiels for the particular form that are common to all users.
Means whenever i login in any user and opens the same document the same fields should be seen....Thanksssss.........

You have to login with each and every user and do the Form Settings of every forms, so that all the forms look same for all the users.
This is a manual job and you have do do it with every user login.

Query regarding the Node manager configuration(WLS and OAM Managed server):
1) In the nodemanager.properties I have added the ListenAddress:myMachineName and ListenPort: 5556
My setup : One physical Linux machine(myMachineName) has : WLS admin server, managed server(OAM 11G) and nodemanager.No clustered environment.
2) nodemanager.log has the following exception when I start the oam_server1 using EM(Enterprise Manager11g):

By using netstat -anp|grep 5556 you can check which process on your machine is using the 5556 port.

THanks...but some days they have all the episodes right back to the very first show...ive downloaded a few but they are only available every now and then which makes no sense...why not have them available the whole time ??

Regarding the SAP Query

Hi I have an SAP query ZGIINOP.
Which i have created using the Transaction SQVI. It worked fine in development client.
Now, I have transported it to Quality client were no problems while transporting.
But when i Executed it in Quality system. It is not working exactly the way it should. It is giving wrong results and it is taking so
much time to execute and give output.
Could any one please help me in this issue.

Hi,
Using the FM : RSAQ_GENERATE_PROGRAM try to generate/activate the SAP Query in the Quality system.
If you have access to the SAP Query, Try to adjust the query in SQ01
SQ01-Menu->Query->More functions->Adjust/Generate Program/Activate

Regarding the SAP big tables in ECC 6.0

We are having SAP ECC 6.0 running on Oracle 10.2g database. Please can anyone of you give fine details on the big tables as below. What are they? Where are they being used? Do they need to be so big? Can we clean them up?

Hello Narendra,
TST03 merits special attention, certainly if it is the largest table in your database. TST03 contains the contents of spool requests and it often happens that at some time in the past there was a huge number of spool data in the system causing TST03 to inflate enormously. Even if this spool data was cleaned up later Oracle will not shrink the table automatically. It is perfectly possible that you have a 220 GB table containing virtually nothing.
There are a lot of fancy scripts and procedures around to find out how much data is actually in the table, but personally I often use a quick-and-dirty check based on the current statistics.
sqlplus /
select (num_rows * avg_row_len)/(1024*1024) "MB IN USE" from dba_tables where table_name = 'TST03';
This will produce a (rough) estimate of the amount of space actually taken up by rows in the table. If this is very far below 220 GB then the table is overinflated and you do best to reorganize it online with BRSPACE.
As to the other tables: there are procedures for prevention, archiving and/or deletion for all of them. The best advice was given in an earlier response to your post, namely to use the SAP Database Management Guide.

The latest available version of the BO Server/Web Intelliggence /Dekstop Intelligence is XI 3.1 SP3 with FP 3.4.
The latest available version of CR is CR 2008 SP3 with FP 3.4.

Query regarding the Position Hierarchy.

Client Version:R12.1.3
We are setting up Position Hierarchy.
Have a query in the setup.
We have a position called Clerk--Number of Holders---2
Clerk --Holder 1 is reporting to Manager 1
Clerk Holder2 is reporting to Manager 2.
When we are trying to set the Hierarchy.
It is taking both the holders in consideration.
Request to assist.

That is what we have the requirment..
I tried changing the existing hierarchy..but it is not working..
For 2 clerks here..we created say 100.Purchase Clerk as Job and position as 200.Purchase clerk
for the second clerk it has same job as 100.Purchase Clerk as Job and position as 200.Purchase clerk1
(we changed a bit)
one clerk reports to one manager..and the manager reports to dept head.
one clerk reports to dept head..
so while in hierarchy dept has total 3 sub ordinates and when we drill down manager has 1 sub ordinates..
which makes sense...
i created approval groups also...and assignments too..
but when the newly created clerk logins and when he forwards documents..he is not seeing the default heiarchy..we have set this up in documents types..
and the second old clerk he is seeing this when he is forwading documents for approval..
where did i miss the setup?

As i was going through the Documents on the SAP PI 7.1 ...where i came to know that we have a seperate MDM Adapter which is used to Exchange Data Between SAP PI 7.1 and MDM 7.1 ....then i was wondering that how can we use SAP PI 7.0 to connect with SAP MDM 7.1 ? IF SO , then are what all we need to Do in SAP PI 7.0 ? and is there any restrections that we need to look for while connecting between SAP PI 7.0 to MDM 7.1 ?
