Guys,
When I do the "Normalization of Result" and make "Number of Decimal Places" as 0.00. The result still gives me 100.000%. Is there a way that i can make it 100.00%?

Hi Ram,
As shown in the properties itself in "Number of Decimal Places" --> (From Keyfigure: 0.000), it is the default thing provided by SAP. Try giving different things for "Scaling Factor" too along with "Number of Decimal Places", you may achieve your required thing.

by taking a numeric variable with 11 characters and by passing the amount field to it after that overlaying it with 15 character constant with all zeros

Questions about decimation and zoom in graphs

I am currently developing an application in which the size of the signals I have to display in different graphs is quite large (8 Mbs of DBLs, for example). I was thinking about reducing the amount of memory used when I found a document at National Instruments Developer Zone (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/6A56C174EABA7BBD86256E58005D9712?opendocument), and inside that paper there was a paragrpah, "Fast Data Display with Decimation", that was perfectly suitable to me.
However, there is a drawback. If the user uses the zoom tools inside the Graph Palette to enlarge the decimated signal, and I do not take care of that situation in some way, doing so will result in an incorrect view since he will not be worki
ng with the original signal. Through events I am not able to know when the user has specifically zoomed the signal, not only touched the graph, so here are the questions: does anyone know a way to detect when the user has used the Graph Palette or the other items of the Waveform graph as the Scale Legend, for example? In general, is there a way that you can reduce the amount of points showed in a graph and still work with zooming tools without problems?

The things you say in your comment are right. In fact, that was what I had to do to fix the problem. Let me explain myself a little further.
I needed to reduce the memory, so I decimated the signal. To take care of the zoom bussiness, in my Diagram Block I put an event case to warn me when the mouse left the graph in order to do exactly what you have mentioned: with the original signal and the new limits, being aware of the x-multiplier, re-decimate the signal if necessary.
But that is when my problem arises. I am not able to distinguish when the user is really zooming the signal or merely touching the graph, without zooming anything. Now you can see the reason of my questions.

I am asking a question about a place i ordered a case from

I did a money order at this place called the istore via istore.com. I did a money order and just my luck i accidently did a wrong shipping order and ordered priority instead of standar which is 3 dollars more. I did this in my handwriting which isnt great but also a money order i was sending for my brother from a different company and it was in the same state and he got confirmation on it. But i called in at least 2 times( friday and today) and they said they havent recieved it but it was the same lady that picked up friday. I was gonna print labeling on the envelope but my printer cartridge ran out. I like to know if i got scammed or not or if somebody bought a case from here.

Round to two decimal places...and keeping trailing 0

Ok, I have done a search on rounding. So I made this function:

You normally only format for display! You seem to be wanting the default format to show 2 decimal places. This makes no sense. Internally a number(double or float) doesn't know about decimal places so how can the default format know you want 2 decimal places?
For the most part you only need to worry about decimal places when you print a number using the DecimalFormat class.
There are times when you might want to round values to 2 decimal places before doing more calculation. I have only met this when adding monetary values when it is important that a column total equals the sum of a displayed column values. In this case one uses something like the technique you originally proposed to round values before summing them. You then use DecimalFormat to display the values.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Question about rounding a decimal

Hi, I've got a requirement that says that if I've got a decimal number, say,
16.15446
I should display it as 16.16
The values I'm provided with will always have 5 decimal places.
If I'm provided with 16.15552, I should display it as 16.16 too.
obviously I tried:
select round(16.15446,2) as test_value from dual
TEST_VALUE
     16.15
1 row selected.But obviously it's not what I expected.
Any suggestions?

Actually, that's probably the "correct" answer.
0.15446 is closer to 1.5 than it is to 1.6, so rounding down to 1.5 is the 'right' thing to so.
But if your rounding rules are different, something like this might do:
select case when mod(substr(16.15667,5,1),2)=1 then round(16.15667,2) else round(16.15667-0.01,2) end from dual;You obviously need to substitute in appropriate values all the way through that, but if you plug in 16.15552, you get:

Now ive got the program to work exactly as it should but for neatness i want it to have 2 decimal places. When it runs, ill use the above as an example, it cuts off the second decimal. Is there a nice way to add the the second decimal place?

Cannot Update Decimal Places in General Settings

When I try to update the decimal points in the Administration > System Initialization > General Settings > Display path, SAP B1 gives me the following error:
"Cannot update while another user is connected to the company."
I am the only one on the system as "manager" with "Super User" and "Full Authorization"...
The SAP B1 Guide titled "How to Make Initial Setting in Business One - US" says "you can change these settings at any time".
QUESTION: What might be stopping this change, and more importantly, how do I get around this error to be able to change the decimal points?

I agree with you about the strange messaging used by SAP.
But blocking the possibility to decrease the decimal places is extremely important.
Suppose you have inserted a sales document with two items in this way:
Item 1 ___Qty 1,234 ___Unit price 1,22 ___Line total 1,51
Item 2 ___Qty 5,756 ___Unit price 3,15 ___Line total 18,13
____Document total 19,64
Then, someone wants to change the number of decimal places of the quantity from 3 to 2.
What happens would be:
Item 1 ___Qty 1,23 ___Unit price 1,22 ___Line total 1,51
Item 2 ___Qty 5,75 ___Unit price 3,15 ___Line total 18,13
____Document total 19,64
If you try to do the calculations manually you will see that the results are not correct. In fact all the document would have to change in:
Item 1 ___Qty 1,23 ___Unit price 1,22 ___Line total 1,50
Item 2 ___Qty 5,75 ___Unit price 3,15 ___Line total 18,11
____Document total 19,61
Also if the document total will show correct (in the case of rounding the second decimal position of item 2), the totals of any line is wrong. In fact there is no recalculation at all in SAP (and must not be done).
Imagine such a modification over thousand of documents and all of the descendants (mainly if the have lead to printouts - as say confirmations - sent to customers or vendors).
None of the economic figures will match.

ur first question is not understood, You can have maximum of 3 decimals in BOM item qty.
Base qty is the qty which is refered to all the BOM items.
example -
Product X, base qty 1
Raw material 1 - componen t qty= 1
Raw material 2 - Component qty= 5
This means To produce Product with qty1, it needs raw material 1 qty 1 and raw material 2 qty 5.
This means To produce Product with qty10, it needs raw material 1 qty 10 and raw material 2 qty 50.
This is the meaning of Base qty..it is the referece qty refered to all the components.
About the decimal places
let us say example 2
To produce Product with qty1, it needs raw material 1 qty 1 and raw material 2 qty .0001.
When you enter this in SAP for the raw materialm 2 system will give error message that you need to enter the qty with maximum 3 decimal places, hence you need to enter as below
Product with qty10, it needs raw material 1 qty 10 and raw material 2 qty .001.
This is how you need to adjsut the base qty and component qty with decimalplaces moer than 3,

Formatting Numeric Only with Variable Decimal Places

I'm creating a form that has a number of text box form fields that are to be numeric only per the form requestor. However, for any given field of this type the number of decimal places that can be entered can vary from 0-3 and the requestor does NOT want any unnecessary decimals to appear in the final output (e.g., a "1.2" entry should not appear as "1.200"). The standard number formatting properties always show all the decimal places so I know it's not that route. No calculations will be performed with any of these entries -- the form requestor merely is entering data and then printing it out so that it's legible for the end-user.
I know that the following line of JavaScript in the Custom Keystroke property limits the entry to numeric only, but how should I tweak the syntax to allow a decimal entry:
event.rc = (!event.change || /^\d$/.test(event.change))
I probably also need a script to format for decimal places, but I don't know where to look in the JavaScript for Acrobat API Reference or in the MDN JavaScript Reference.

Good question. To keep it simple (because there are about 300 form fields in this document), if they choose to add extra decimal zeros, then who am I to argue with their entry. So in your example for a given form field, if they enter "1.200" then I expect that they want "1.200" to display.

This seems inconsistent. Can you clarify? The point is the code and where it's placed depends on this. It could be implemented either as a custom Validate or Format script, in addition to a Keystroke script.

How come the 0 cannot append last decimal place.

Can someone please help me why JAVA wont display the zero at the end of the decimal place. for instance,

Rounding off a float to two decimal places

I want to make a function where I shall pass a float and and integer.
The float shall have to be rounded off to a value in the integer.
Can anyone please suggest how to round off a float.
E.g.: if the float is 12.56890 and I want to round it off to 2 decimal places, then it should be 12.57.

This is the code for that in java.So here you are mentioning datatypes and floats for the same piece of mathematics that you have already been told, with reasons, doesn't work in floating point.

Some questions about Muse

First of all, I would like to say that I am very impressed with how well Muse works and how easy it was to create a website that satisfies me. Before I started a daily updated website I thought I would encounter many problems I will not be able to solve. I have only had a few minor issues which I would like to share with you.
The most problems I have with a horizontal layouts (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/dig-t-r-3-cylindrowy-silnik-nissana-o-wadze-40-kg-i-mocy-400- km.html). Marking and copying of a text is possible only on the last (top) layer of a document. The same situation is with widgets or anything connected with rollover state - it does not work. In the above example it would be perfect to use a composition/tooltip widget on the first page. Unfortunately, you cannot even move the cursor into it.
It would be helpful to have an option of rolling a mouse to an anchor (like in here http://www.play.pl/super-smartfony/lg-nexus-5.html and here http://www.thepetedesign.com/demos/onepage_scroll_demo.html). I mean any action of a mouse wheel would make a move to another anchor/screen. It would make navigation of my site very easy.
Is it possible to create a widget with a function next anchor/previous anchor? Currently, in the menu every button must be connected to a different anchor for the menu to be functional.
A question about Adobe Muse. Is it possible to create panels in different columns? It would make it easier to go through all the sophisticated program functions.
The hits from Facebook have sometimes very long links, eg.

In the cooperation page, the first anchor does not work if it is in Y axle set at 0. If I move it right direction- everything is ok.
The text frame with background fill does not change text color in overlay state (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/nowe-mini-krolestwo-silnikow-3-cylindrowych.html). I mean a source button at the beginning of every text. I would like a dark text and a light layer in a rollover, but the text after export and moving cursor into it does not change color for some reason.
I was not sure whether to keep everything (whole website) in one Muse file (but I may be mistaken?). I have decided to divide it into months. Everyone is in a different Muse file. If something goes wrong, I will not have any trouble with an upload of a whole site, which is going to get bigger and bigger.
The problem is that every file has two master pages. Everything works well up to the moment when I realize how many times I have to make changes in upper menu when I need to add something there. I have already 5 files, every with 2 masters. Is there any way to solve this problem? Maybe something to do with Business Catalyst, where I could connect a menu to every subpage independently, deleting it from Muse file? Doing so I would be able to edit it everywhere from one place. It would make my work much easier, but I have no idea jendak how to do it.

I have exchanged some mails and screenshots with Disqus help. I have sent them a screenshot where the comments are not loaded, because they almost never load. They have replied that it works at their place even with attached screenshot. I have a hard time to discuss it, because it does not work with me and with my friends either. Maybe you could fix it? I would not like to end up with awful facebook comments ;). The problem is with Firefox on PC and Mac. Chrome, Safari and Opera work ok.
YouTube movie level layouts do not work well with IE11 and Safari 7 (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/wypadki-drogowe--004.html). The background should roll left, but in the above mentioned browsers it jumps up. Moreover the scrolling with menu dots is not fluent on Firefox, but I guess it is due to Firefox issues? The same layout but in vertical version rolls fluently in Firefox (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/polskie-wypadki--005.html).
Now, viewing the website on new smartphones and tablets. I know it is not a mobile/tablet layout, but I tried to make it possible to be used on mobile hardware with HD (1280) display. I mean most of all horizontal layouts (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/2015-hyundai-genesis.html), where If we want to roll left, we need to roll down. Is there a way to make it possible to move the finger the direction in which the layout goes?
On Android phones (Nexus 4, Android 4.4.2, Chrome 32) the fade away background effect does not work, although I have spent a lot of time over it (http://www.leftlane.pl/lut14/koniec-produkcji-elektrycznego-renault-fluence-ze!.html). It is ok on PC, but on the phone it does not look good. A whole picture moves from a lower layer instead of an edge which spoils everything.
This layout does not look good on Android (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/nowe-mini-krolestwo-silnikow-3-cylindrowych.html#a07). The background does not fill the whole width of a page. There are also problems with a photo gallery, where full screen pictures should fill more of a screen.
Is it possible to make an option of scroll effects/motions for a fullscreen slideshow widget thumbnails (http://www.leftlane.pl/sty14/2014-chevrolet-ss%2c-rodzinny-sedan-z-415-konnym-v8.html#a06)? It would help me with designing layouts. Currently, it can go from a bottom of a page at x1 speed or emerge (like in this layout) by changing opacity. Something more will be needed, I suppose.

On the top is a description and a main text, and the picture is a filled object with a hold set at the bottom edge. That is why there is a nice effect of a filling a whole screen- nevertheless the resolution that is set. It works perfect on PC, but on Android the picture goes beyond the screen. You can do something about it?

Everything is always held to upper edge of a screen regardless the settings. Possibility of holding the picture to the bottom edge or center would make my work much easier.
According to UE regulations we have to inform about the cookies. I do not know how to do it in Muse. I mean, when the message shows up one time and is accepted, there would be no need to show it again and again during another visit on the website. Is there any way to do it? Is there any widget for it maybe?
The YouTube widget sometimes changes size just like that. It is so when the miniature of the movie does not load, and the widget is set to stroke (in our case 4 pixels, rounded to 1 pixel). As I remember ( in case of a load error) it extends for 8 pixels wide.
Last but not least - we use the cheapest hosting plan in Business Catalyst. The monthly bandwidth is enough, although we have a lot of pictures and we worried about it at first. Yet we are running out of the disk storage very quickly. We have used more than a half of a 1 GB after a month. We do not want to change BC for a different one, because we like the way it is connected with Muse. But we do not want to buy the most expensive package - but only this one has more disk space. We do not need any other of these functions and it would devastate our budget. Do we have any other option?

Unfortunatley, there is no way to get a code view in Muse. I know quite a few people requested it in the previous forum, but not really sure where that ended up. Also, you may not want to bring the html into DW unless you only have 1 or 2 small changes 2 make. Two reasons. First, it isnt backwards compatible, so if you are planning on updating that site in Muse, you will need to make those changes in DW everytime you update. Second, by all accounts the HTML that Muse puts out is not pretty or easy to work with. Unlike you, I am code averse, but there was a lenghty discussion on the previous forum on this topic. I know they were striving to make it better with every release, just not sure where it is at this point.
Dont think I am reading that second question right, but there was a ton of info on that old site. You may want to take a look there, people posted a ton of great unique solutions, so it worth a look.
