Questions about Integrated Planning and BPS

Hi all,
I'm testing the functions of BW7.0. And at the point of comparing the new BI Integrated Planning from the BPS, I'm stuck with 3 problems. Can anybody give me some solution?
<b>i.</b> When using the input-ready layout of the BW-BPS 3.5, I was able to create a new record and load it up to the cube. Is it possible to make the same operation like this using the BI Integrated Planning of BW7.0?
<b>ii.</b> When using the BW-BPS 3.5, showing the character hierarchy on the Manual planning layout can be chosen. And I'd like to show the BPS Characteristic Hierarchies in BI Integrated Planning of BW7.0 like it is in the BW-BPS 3.5. Is it possible to show the hierarchy in similar type somehow? If not, can't I show the sum of it anyhow? And if possible, can you also show the sum of the each hierarchy and change the data?
<b>iii.</b> When showing the Characteristic combination data, can you choose how to show them from the transaction data or from all the combination like it was possible in the BW-BPS 3.5?
Kind regards,
Hiroshi Iwanaga

Dear Beat,
Thanks for your help.
The information you gave me made a lot of help.
Can I ask you more about the first question?
About getting new lines in the table web item,as you have told me, I have set the parameter NEW_LINES_COUNT as 20 in the table web item. But when I execute it,no lines shows up. Is this a program error or am I setting the parameter in a wrong place?
And this getting new lines feature, is it also possible when using a workbook?
Thanks in advance,
Hiroshi Iwanaga

  • Relation between Integrated Planning and BPS

    Dear all,
I am just considering about using the BI Integrated Planning. I have a few question about the relation between BW-BPS and BI Integrated Plannning. Can anybody tell me about the near future about these both two? Is the BI Integrated Planning going to replace the BW-BPS or are they going to co-exist instead? Do we have to use them both? Although I'm not used to the new features of BI Integrated Planning, I just quite don't get what is the advantage of using them besides ensuring the future development.
    Best regards,
    Takashi

    Hi Matsumoto,
I have recently implemented both BW-BPS and IP on 2004S.
I have always started with trying to implement IP instead of BW-BPS because, as we all agree, it is the future. Another reason was personal: I wanted to learn IP.
Sometimes I however had to switch to BW-BPS because of following reasons:
    - the front-ends are more advanced if the users have a SAPGUI installed. The Excel front-end of IP is more advanced compared to the Excel GUI version of BW-BPS. IP is based on workbooks (the same as BW workbooks). Workbooks have more flexibility than BW-BPS Excel GUI version. The problem is that you need the 2004S gui to use IP via workbooks. Installations of the 2004S gui is rather complex and is almost impossible to install remotely because there are so many components involved.
    - the front-ends on the web do not require a SAPGUI and are more advanced in BW-BPS. In BW-BPS, you can use the office web components (Excel on the web) where you can copy past, etc. The IP web version is HTML based and does not yet support the office web component. You can use it for data entry of a limited number of data but is hard to use for large volumes.
    - BW-BPS for now supports more hierarchy features than IP. Displaying hierarchies can be done on IP. If you want to do bottom-up or top-down planning, it is adviseable to develop on BW-BPS; Again, these features will in the future be supported by IP but are not yet.
    - performance: saving is quite slow in IP compared to BW-BPS.
    - timing: if you want to move fast, go for BW-BPS. There is a lot more documentation on forums, you will have a lot less problems etc.
By the way, Sean is 100% correct about the instability of IP. We had to implement a number of notes and had SAP to create new notes for problems we had.
Please assign points if this solved your problem.
    Best Regards,
    Filip

  • *** Question How to load a file into BI-Integrated Planning and use WAD 7.0

Hi, I created an manual DTP upload to my planning infocube and it works fine.  The transformation rules convert 0CALMONTH into the relevant Calendar and Fiscal characteristics.   So all of my Time Characteristics are fine, both Calendar and Fiscal.
However, When using the "How to load a file into BI-Integrated Planning and use WAD 7.0" solution, only the Calendar Characteristics are populated and not the Fiscal.   The upload application somehow knows to populate the 0CALMONTH2, 0CALQUART1, 0CALQUARTER, and 0CALYEAR.
How can I get the upload to populate my Fiscal Period Characteristics?
Would it be best to modify the "Upload Application, or can I write a planning function to update the fiscal characteristics, or some other way?
    Thanks!

My planning data is being uploaded via the SDN Planning File Upload Solution. What I did was end up modifiying the upload class ZCL_RSPLF_FILE_UPLOAD Method EXECUTE.

  • A few questions about the ka790gx and dka790gx

i have a few questions about the ka790gx and dka790gx , how much better is the dka790gx compaired to the ka790gx ? . how much difference does the ACC function make to overclocking etc , i plan on getting a phenom II 940BE or 720BE . i already have the ka790gx so would it be worth building another system using the dka790gx mobo , or should i keep what i already have and just change the cpu ?

It's largely irrelevant what other boards had VRM issues other than the KA790GX - the fact is it died at stock settings. Since there is little cost difference between the more robust DKA790GX (or Platinum if you really need 1394) why bother with the proven weakling? There are other examples around of the KA not having a robust power section.  There's no way I would use even a 95W TDP CPU in the KA and absolutely not O/C.....!
As for the credentials of Custom PC, I have generally found their reviews accurate and balanced, and echo my own findings where applicable. If a little too infrequent.
The fact that the KA has such a huge VRM heatsink leads me to my other comments on the Forum, particularly regarding the "fudge" aspect:
"""Henry is spot on - the notion that adding a heatsink to the top of the D2PAK or whatever MOSFETS is effective is virtually worthless. The device's die thermal junction is the tab on the device back - which is always against the PCB pad. The majority of heat is therefore dissipated in to the board, and the fact that the epoxy plastic encapsulation gets hot is simply due to the inability of the heat to be conducted away from the device die via the tab. Not sure when Epoxy become an effective conductor of heat.... Good practice is to increase the size of the PCB pad (or "land" in American) such that the enlarged PCB copper area acts as an adequate heatsink. This is still not as effective as clamping a power device tab to an actual piece of ali or copper, but since the devices used are SMD devices, this is not possible. However, the surface area required to provide sufficient PCB copper area to act as a heatsink for several devices isn't available in the current motherboard layouts. Where industrial SBC designs differ in this respect is to place the VRM MOSFETs on the back of the PCB on very enlarged PCB pads - where real estate for components is not an issue.
Gigabyte's UD3 2oz copper mainboards sound like a good idea, on the face of it. However, without knowing how they have connected the device tabs to where and what remains a mystery. I suspect it is more hype than solution, although there will be some positive effect. From an electrical perspective, having lower resistance connecting whatever to whatever (probably just a 0V plane) is no bad thing.
The way the likes of ASUS sort of get round the problem is to increase the sheer number of MOSFET devices and effectively spread the heat dissipation over a larger physical area. This works to a degree, there is the same amount of heat being dissipated, but over several more square inches. The other advantage of this is that each leg of the VRM circuit passes less current and therefore localised heat is reduced. Remember that as well as absolute peak operating temperature causing reduced component life, thermal cycling stresses the mechanical aspects of components (die wire bonds for example) as well as the solder joints on the board. Keeping components at a relatively constant temperature, even if this is high (but within operating temperature limits), is a means of promoting longevity.
For myself, the first thing I do with a seperate VRM heatsink is take it off and use a quiet fan to blow air on to the VRM area of the PCB - this is where the heat is. This has the added benefit of actively cooling the inductors and capacitors too....
Cooling the epoxy component body is a fudge. If the epoxy (and thus any heatsink plonked on top of it) is running at 60C, the component die is way above that.....
It's better than nothing, but only just."""

  • Question about monthly plan

For the $9.99 plan is there a minimum monthly committment?  Or is it pay by month and cancel anytime?

Hello and thank you for your answer.  I do have one other question: with the createPDF subscription, can I create a pdf (from a Word document) that is text searchable and that recognizes the sequential numbering scheme in the pdf's page search field?

  • Question About Color's and Gradients

    Hi all,
I have a question about color swatches and gradients.
I am curious to know, if I have 2 color swatches that I make into a gradient color, is it posible to change the tint of each indivdual color in that gradient and have that applied to the gradient without having to adjust the gradients opacity.
The reason that I'm asking this is because in creating a project I found that the colors that I chose for to make my gradient from my swatches were to dark, and while I can adjust each one's tint to my liking (if the object they were applied to was going to be a solid color) but that doesn't seem to apply to the overall gradient.
I hope that makes sense, I know that this was something that was able to be accomplished in quark and was wondering if I can do something similar.

If you double click your gradient swatch (after adding it to the swatches)
Then click a colour stop in the gradient, and then change the drop down menu to CMYK (or rgb)
And you can alter the percentages there. It's not much use for spot colours but it's a start.
But making tint swatches would be a good start anyway.
At least then when you double click the gradient (in the swatches) to edit it you can choose from CMYK, RGB, LAB, or Swatches and adjust each colour stop to your liking.

  • Question about clear page and reset pagination

    Hi,
I have a question about clear pages and the reset pagination in an URL. What is the reason why a clear page doesn't also trigger a reset pagination on the pages which are cleared?
I can't really imagine a business case where it makes sense to clear all data of page items on a page and don't reset the pagination of reports on that page which probably use a page item in there where clause...
The drawback of this behavior is that a developer always has to set the reset pagination checkbox when he clears the target page and the even bigger drawback is that if you specify other pages to clear, you can't reset pagination for them, because reset pagination only works for the target page.
    Thanks for your input.

  • The question about portlet customization and synchronization

I have a question about portlet customization and synchronization.
    When I call
    NameValuePersonalizationObject data = (NameValuePersonalizationObject) PortletRendererUtil.getEditData(portletRenderRequest);
    portletRenderRequest.setPortletTitle(str);
    portletRenderRequest.putString(aKey, aValue);
    PortletRendererUtil.submitEditData(portletRenderRequest, data);
Should I make any synchronization myself (use "synchronized" blocks or something else) or this procedure is made thread-safe on the level of the Portal API?

    HI Dimitry,
I dont think you have to synchronize the block. i guess the code is synchronized internally.

  • A question about item "type and release" of  source system creation

    Hello expert,
I have a question about item "type and release" of  source system creation.
As we know, when we create a web servie source system, there will display a pop-up which includes three items as "logical system","source system"and "type and release".
About the item "type and release",when we push "F4" button, there will be three default selections as below:
    "ORA 115     Oracle Applications 11i
    TLF 205     Tealeaf 2.05B
    XPD 020     SAP xPD".
Who can tell me when and how should I use the three selections.
And also I attempted to input the item by some optional letters except the default three selections and it seems that I can input it freely.
    Thank you and Best Regards,
    Maggie

    Hello DMK,
Thank you very much for your answer. It is very helpful for me.
Can I ask you further about it?
I got that it is a semantic description item.
You said the default selections are set by our basis people.Would you like to tell me how should we creat a new value except the default ones for item "type and release"?Only by inputing the value in the item directly? But you see we canot see the new value item we created by ourself when we push "F4" button next time ,is that ok?Or do we have to ask basis people to define one new value item just like the default seletions before we use it.
Also if possible would you like to describe detail about "This becomes important when you are troubleshooting certain issues especially when RFC connection problems."
    Thank you and Best Regards,
    Maggie

  • Question about integration of STS and BPS

    Hi gurus,
I want to realize following functionality:
after the status of my sales plan set to "approved",I can run my later process of my sales plan(another BPS web application),otherwise ,the later BPS web application can NOT be run(I can let some BPS web application not run),but I can't catched the "approved" status to my BPS0 variable or set the status into my cube . How can I do that?
       thank you experts very much!

    Hi Denny,
Could be done in a simple FOX also, logic as below
    For the Condition....
      Flag  = 1
    End For
Include the FOX in the Planning sequence at the appropriate step
subsequently filter out in the Parameter group to process records only whose flag value is 1
Assigning appropriate points is the way of saying thanks at SDN *

  • Integrated Planning vs BPS - Planning Function and filters

    Hi,
I'm trying to create a planning function previously defined in a BPS system into a new system with Integrated Planning. Some considerations:
    BPS:
    - I define first a planning level on a planning area. In this level I set some selection values.
    - Then I define a planning package that can contain other further filter values
    - Then I create my planning function
    - Then I create a parameter group that contain parameter values the function will use.
    Integrated Planning:
    - I can create a planning level and, separately, I can define more than one group of filters;
    - Then, I can create a planning function, where I can set some fixed values in the "field used for condition" tab. These values are common for every user that launch the function.
So, from my point of view, it seems that:
    BPS: I have 3 points where I can set filter parameters (level, package and parameter group), and I can launch for example the same function selecting different packages or different parameter groups;
IP: I have only one point where I can set filter parameters (Filter, defined on level)
Is all right? In this case, I don't exactly know how to migrate the same function defined in BPS in the Integrated Planning environment.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for the support!
    Gianluca

    Hello Gianluca,
    BPS: I have 3 points where I can set filter parameters (level, package and parameter group), and I can launch for example the same function selecting different packages or different parameter groups;
IP: I have only one point where I can set filter parameters (Filter, defined on level)
In IP you have 2 places, Filter and the function itself. In the function you will get characters for conditions where you can again filter. Migration is simple.
And in BPS? If I define a planning package with a filter (example: Country = Italy) and I select this filter during the launch of the function, do I see records with country = Italy in my reference data?
I guess you are mentioning package as filter. If yes then yes you will only get Italy data in your reference.
The parameter group restrictions in BPS are done in planning function itself in IP. But one difference is in BPS it allowed multiple parameter groups.
And I think even in BPS FOX brought reference data that were subsets of restrictions made in packages and planning level. I dont think in BPS also we were able to read reference data out of the planning level and package.
    Regards,
    T-Bird.

  • Questions on Enterprise Planning and Budgeting

    Hi,
First of all: this may be a very wrong place for posting these questions. However, I could not find a forum that seemed closer to the matter so I try it anyway.
With EPB close to hitting the streets, some questions starting popping up - especially now that Oracle has recommended one of my customers - who is just starting out with Business Intelligence and are not E-Business Suite users - to embark on the EPB course.
It is stated by Oracle that EPB - although it is an integrated component of the Oracle EBusiness Suite – can be used as stand-alone product. You can load data into interface tables. Questions:
Does EPB work on its own Data Warehouse and if so, is this DWH also available to other OLAP tools for Analysis? Or should organizations doing Analysis and Reporting apart from EPB have a separate DWH for those OLAP queries?
Does Oracle recommend loading data directly from operational sources into the FEM Interface Tables or does Oracle think it best for non-EBusiness Suite customers to set up a Data Warehouse independently of EPB and in a later stage implement processes to extract data from that DWH into the FEM Interface. Are the FEM Interfaces tables at the operational (fact) level or do they already have some sort of consolidation in them?
Can Oracle somehow convince us that while EPB does not provide hooks for customization it will offer reports desired by non-EBusiness Suite customers with potentially very varied businesses? How much of EPB benefits are you missing out on if you do not have the E-Business Suite? What is EPB then giving you that with OWB and BI Beans/Discoverer you can not easily build yourself?
The specific case of my customer: they have clear requirements for Management Information. Most of these are about analyzing histrical data (the classic slicing and dicing); forecasting and budgeting would be a nice to have in the longer run. They currently do not have a proper Data Warehouse. They have a consolidation point for some operational data. No dimensions have been defined, no data cleansing is performed and some data is not available at all. I am wondering whether EPB would be the proper tool for them to start with. Given their requirements as well as their lack of current experience with BI as well as the relative uncertain situation with regard to the data sources, I would feel more comfortable with a more down-to-earth approach: start designing a DWH and the processes to populate it as well as developing the most urgently needed reports. In that case, EPB would be brought in at a later stage – when the organization as well as the data management is ready for more advanced stuff.
Is there anyone, especially from Oracle, who would care to comment? Also on my feeling that Oracle’s recommendation to use EPB is perhaps somewhat influenced by Oracle’s desire to build up references and experience with this brand new tool – that, as I understand it, is not even generally available – only a “controller release” is available right now.
Thanks for anyone for your insights.
    best regards,
    Lucas

    Lucas
Please note these are not official Oracle or my employers answers, just my interpretation. Hope this might help though.
"Does EPB work on its own Data Warehouse and if so, is this DWH also available to other OLAP tools for Analysis? Or should organizations doing Analysis and Reporting apart from EPB have a separate DWH for those OLAP queries?"
EPB has it's own EPF schema, which it shares with Oracle's other CPM applications, but it's not a traditional warehouse schema arranged as a star schema, you're not supposed to load data directly into it, and it's really designed for storing data that needs to be loaded into AWs for analysis. You'll therefore still need to build your own warehouse schema, and then load data (through the interface tables) into the EPF schema for use with EPB.
"Does Oracle recommend loading data directly from operational sources into the FEM Interface Tables or does Oracle think it best for non-EBusiness Suite customers to set up a Data Warehouse independently of EPB and in a later stage implement processes to extract data from that DWH into the FEM Interface. Are the FEM Interfaces tables at the operational (fact) level or do they already have some sort of consolidation in them?"
It depends. Data can be loaded directly into the EPF (new name for FEM) schema, but you'll probably want to cleanse and transform it first, most probably in a data warehouse. The data that goes into the EPF schema is at transaction level, and EPB will perform any aggregations as it loads data into it's AW. Of course data in the form of balances - that goes into the EPF balances table - will be to an extent already summarised (or at least snapshotted) but the twenty user data tables are just regular fact tables, with the granularity set to whatever you require.
"Can Oracle somehow convince us that while EPB does not provide hooks for customization it will offer reports desired by non-EBusiness Suite customers with potentially very varied businesses? How much of EPB benefits are you missing out on if you do not have the E-Business Suite? What is EPB then giving you that with OWB and BI Beans/Discoverer you can not easily build yourself?"
Too early to see really, especially as no-one apart from Oracle has done an EPB implementation yet. With regard to the question about what EPB gives you that OWB and BI Beans don't already give you, I think the relevant bit is "you cannot easily build yourself". EPB is an application, not a toolset, and it'll appeal to those people that want to buy a supported planning and budgeting application from Oracle, that integrates with e-Business Suite and doesn't require them to build everything from the ground upwards. With OFA and OSA you could have course build a similar application yourself, using Visual Basic or Express Objects and Express Server, but for most people buying it from Oracle was a more sensible solution.
"The specific case of my customer: they have clear requirements for Management Information. Most of these are about analyzing historical data (the classic slicing and dicing); forecasting and budgeting would be a nice to have in the longer run. They currently do not have a proper Data Warehouse. They have a consolidation point for some operational data. In that case, EPB would be brought in at a later stage – when the organization as well as the data management is ready for more advanced stuff."
Yes, I'd agree with this approach. EPB isn't the place to start integrating and consolidating data, and the EPF schema isn't where you'd want to store your complete data warehouse. You could of course, using the twenty data tables and the user defined dimension tables, but you'd pretty much be limited to querying via EPB (the schema isn't really suitable for querying directly using tools such as Discoverer) and the AW that EPB creates wouldn't be suitable/supported/documented for use by regular OLAP API tools such as Drake or the BI Beans. If it was down to me, I'd build the warehouse as normal, using OWB or any other ETL tool, create my dimensional model as normal, then take selected data out and put it in the EPF schema, and then carry out my planning & budgeting using EPB. I'd then still run Discoverer / Discoverer "Drake", or BI Beans or any other ad-hoc query tool against my warehouse schema for the warehouse "power users", and use EPB as the application for my finance and planning department,

  • Shopping for a T61 - questions about the OS and various h/w options

    Hi,
I am considering buying a Thinkpad T61, but it's been a while since I have bought a computer, let alone a laptop, so I thought I'd ask a few questions here.
I have worked on several Thinkpads T-series at work before, and I liked them, but they were all provided to me by my employers.
I am browsing the different models on the Lenovo Canada web site; the US site looks just the same.
The use I would make of the computer is typical office work (Word, Excel, e-mail), synchronize data with a PDA, Internet browsing, some limited web (PHP) and image editing (Paint shop pro), and listening to digital music. On occasion, watch a movie on DVD.
    I don't play 3D games.
I would use the computer with a docking station and an external keyboard, LCD monitor and mouse when I am at home.
I am looking at the T61 models with 15-inch widescreen, integrated graphics and no mobile broadband.
1.) Operating system: obviously, Vista is recommended by Lenovo, but I have heard so many negative comments on this OS that I wonder if I shouldn't stick to XP. Even on this forum, I see posts about problems with Vista. Any advice on that?
2.) I already have a license for XP on my previous machine. Assuming I buy the Vista with this one, then I would legally have the right to install either system on it, right?
I know the machine doesn't come with an install CD, but if I get one somewhere else, would I be able to install it, or does the OS come with some weird DRM system that will prevent me from installing another OS than the exact copy of the one that was shipped with it?
I ask this because I'm fairly certain that I will want to change the way the system partitions are set up.
(this might sound like a silly question, but the acronym DRM became so prominent in recent years that I want to make sure)
3.) The website says that some T61 machines come with an integrated camera. Later on in the detailed descriptions, I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Which do and which don't come with the embedded web cam?
4.) 15.4 WXGA TFT vs. 15.4 WSXGA+ TFT : what are the resolutions of each?
5.) Hard drive: I would go with a 7200 rpm model. Is there any benefit to getting the 1GB drive cache?
6.) DVD recordable option: how fast does it record CDs and DVDs ?
    Thank you in advance.
    Chris.-

    Hi Kevin
about the speakers I cannot advice.
Regarding the driver - if there is a driver update availabel from TOSHIBA (important!!) then use it! That means they have found some kind of bug in the original driver and released a fix for it. I do not recommend you to use the nVidia generic driver since it might make the PC behave bad. StandBy / Hibernation might stop working properly. Power consumption might go up....and so on.
Regarding the BIOS. The BIOS'es are a special chapter - when upgrading the BIOS the machine re-writes a very special part of the 'hardware' (actually it's a software installed in a chip that does not go away when you turn the computer off, it is sometimes also called firmware). That firmware is needed (among other things) to get the machine to start and load the operating system.
If the re-write process fails it could mean that the firmware is not able to start the machine anymore. And if the machine does not start at all, you will have no chance to retry writing the firmware. So that mean the machine will be dead and you will not be able to do anything about it except turning to an ASP and possibly pay for the service.
So, that said, it is very important that you have a realiable powersupply (which you normally have with the AC Adapter) and that you make 100% sure that you use the correct BIOS-file.
If you can accomplish those 2 small things there should be no problem upgrading the BIOS.

  • Getting iphone, Questions about Family Plan. NEED HELP!

So right  now I am on a family plan with my Dad and mother and we all have old phones that are basic basic. Our family plan has no Data plan at all, and in fact the plan is so old that it does not exist anymore. However I am moving away soon and I want to upgrade to an iphone. My question is this, If I upgrade, will I have to get my own plan? Or will I be able to just upgrade my phone and add the data charges just to my phone without making my parents upgrade their phones as well?
Any help will be awesome. I don't want to go into the store and talk to a sales person because they are motivated by commission so it would be in their best interest to upgrade all or them. So if I can go in there educated about the specifics of upgrading it would help.
    Thanks!!

Thanks to our forum member for the great information!
In addition, please note that you will most likely be able to keep your current calling plan when you upgrade your line to an iPhone 4; however, if the iPhone 4 is not compatible with your current calling plan you will be notified when you process your order online if you login to your My Verizon account and you will be presented with your new calling plan options.
If your calling plan is compatible with the iPhone 4, you will be able to simple upgrade to the iPhone 4 device and add the data plan to your line. This does not affect your parents calling plan in any way. You can also separate your line from the family calling plan and have an individual calling plan for your line and have your parents lines stay with their family share plan.
If you do not feel comfortable ordering your upgrade phone online or at a store, you can also order your upgrade from the comfort of your home if you dial 1-800-922-0204 to contact our customer service department.

  • Some random questions about integration features

    Greetings,
after working for a few weeks with Autovue's ISDK (web server) and having some sucess with its integration with our custom CMS, I have a few random questions about what can be done and what can't be done. So, instead of opening many new threads, I'll post them here together.
    1) Translation. We are localised in Russia, and its translation is incomplete. I have found a tra_en.properties file in AutoVue/bin, and a description about how to create a properties file for custom actions. But no information about how to translate to other languages - and russian translation appears to be packed within the jar of the applet. Is there a clean way to translate, or refine the current translation, so we don't get a mix of russian and english commands in the applet? Because my tries using EXTRABUNDLES have failed, as I don't want to add a bundle for extra actions, but to replace it for existing ones.
    2) Attachments in markups. Markups allow to attach other files, but since our CMS is custom, we only get the option to attach files from our local drives. We did no browse integration with the CMS, as people with different levels of permission will have different access to files there, and we considered unnecessary to provide that level of integration. We are considering to remove this action from the GUI, but before that I'd like to evaluate how hard would it be to generate an upload file action, so the attached file would be stored in the custom CMS and linked to it so the whole thing worked. My guess is "it will be hard and time consuming", so for now, we are considering to delete this feature in our integration.
    3) Is there a way to resize the Open markup dialog? We have several properties displayed, and fit well within a standard screen, but the dialog is small and you have to scroll the table to see all properties.
Thanks for any assistance with these issues

As always, thanks for the fast answer, Artash.
Yes, now I see attachments are stored inside the markup file. The problem is, when I open markup mode for the attachment, since the attachment uses some kind of default access method, my url's from the integration with the background CMS are broken completely. I believe the ideal state here would be to make some kind of inner markup for the attachment, maybe stored within the original markup file along the attached file. Or maybe it works that way, and I need to access it with the default gui action instead of my custom one. If that is the case, is there any way to tell the gui file how to differentiate a standard opened file from an attached one? If so, the issue has solution. If not... Well, then maybe something escapes me.
