If a program is not showing on the Cloud screen, it is most likely because your computer does not meet the specifications
FOR EXAMPLE, Premiere Pro requires a 64bit computer - Not all apps displayed for download | Creative Cloud desktop app, Adobe Application Manager
What error message do you see, or what is the screen you see that does not work? (examples... a BLANK login screen, or a spinning wheel)

Are you using Windows or Mac, and exactly which version? (include "dot" numbers like Windows 8.1 or Mac 10.9.3)

What anti-virus do you use, and have you tried turning it off to download?
Has this ever worked before?  If yes, do you recall any changes you made to the program, such as adding Plug-ins, etc.?
Did you make any changes to your system, such as updating hardware, printers or drivers; or installing/uninstalling any programs since this last worked?
Are you using an account with Administrator Privileges? Run as Administrator will sometimes help (this EXAMPLE http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 is for Encore + "All" Premiere)
What were you doing when the problem occurred?
What other software are you running?
Tell us about your computer hardware. How much RAM is installed?  How much free space is on your system (C:) drive?

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the questions themselves?  (Frankly, they have to be the most ridiculous security questions I've ever seen.  A good security question should be one that you'll have no problem remembering the answer to, even if you're asked years later.  To answer one from the third batch, I'd have to make something up, which makes it unlikely I'll remember the answer later.  And I certainly don't want to have to write the answers down somewhere.)

  • I have a timeline question and need an answer asap plz

    When I am looking at my image in the viewer, it's perfectly clear. Then when I drag the image down into the timeline it looks a little blurry. It looks like there is some kind of overlay or something on it. I can't figure out what I did because the first half of the project is fine and it just started doing this. My kitten has been jumping on the keyboard so I'm not sure if some setting got changed but I can't figure out how to get it back so my images are clear again. Please help me! Thanks!

    The Viewer will show you the quality of your source footage. The Canvas will show you the quality of the items in the timeline. If you have a nice 3000x2000 pixel picture, it will look GREAT in the Viewer. Drop that in the timeline, and say the timeline is DV, then the picture inherits the DV attributes: 5:1 compression, 4:1:1 color space. It does not retain the original quality.
    Also, never judge the quality of your image using a computer monitor. Only judge on a TV or NTSC monitor connected to the system. If DV, then routed thru a camera or deck. If uncompressed SD or any form of HD, then you need a capture card.

    1) When I drag something into the trash, it asks 'The item ______ will be deleted immediately. Are you sure you want to continue?
    Where is the setting in the finder that just places it in the trash and lets me empty the trash when I want? I have looked everywhere, finder prefs, etc.
    2) When I want to archive something to a CD, there are times where the little 'arrow' comes up and only places an 'alias' of what I want to copy on the CD. I think I can avoid this my pressing 'option' but why can't I just copy it to a CD without doing this. I know I have done it in the past.

    Yes, if you actually want to save it until you manually enter the Trash.
    I'm not sure exactly what the reasoning behind this is but it seems to be common among operating systems (at least Mac OS and Windoze). My system at work is a Wintel and wants to immediately delete trashed items from network drives (and even floppies) as soon as you trash them.
    I think that the problem is that the information that the file/folder is trashed has to be saved somewhere. If it's saved on the network drive, the next person to log onto the drive will see the item in the trash which would allow them to empty it (messing with your intention to "save" the trashed item). If the info is saved on your local drive, someone else logging onto the network drive wouldn't know that the item is trashed and, for them, it might just dissapear at any time (when you empty your trash). Therefore, it seems easier to just trash the item immediately and avoid all this confusion.

    Probably because the address you provided as a rescue email when setting up your account is not longer valid. Contact Support and ask for account security.

    my iPad stopped receiving new emails 3 days ago. emails come through fine on my iMac and iPhone though. I've tried rebooting the iPad many times and have also deleted the account and re-added it many times but this has just resulted in no emails showing at all now. i can send emails ok thou.

    Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

    I rarely if ever turn my iPad off. I charge it when the battery is low or at night while I'm sleeping. Even then I close the Smart Cover and let it sleep but I do not turn it off. It doesn't matter when you charge the iPad.
    The most efficient way to charge the iPad is to use the charger that came with it and plug that into a known good wall outlet.

    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

  • Did anyone else receive a text message from Verizon stating you need to confirm your order?

    Received a message stating that you need to text YES to confirm or NO to cancel. It displayed my order number and everything, so I happily replied YES. What's weird though is that my confirmation states to "Deliver by 9/19" but the Order Status pages states "Ship by 10/14". o.O
    I am confuzzled because my pre-order was completed before 3:10 AM and it coincided with what the confirmation email said. Now my only remaining question is which date is right?

    That is so bogus! Are you telling me I stayed up to pre-order so I can receive it on the 19th for nothing? Regardless of what y'all needed to verify, a phone should have been placed on the side awaiting confirmation granted that I put in a pre-order early. On top of that, there is no way I should have been pushed back all the bloody way til October, thereby voiding any of my trade-in chances.
    You know what's funny though, I got that stupid 10/14 date BEFORE I was sent the text message asking for verification, and a charge was already placed on my card (well more like a placeholder). Also of note, both my checkout page and confirmation email state 9/19. If you lot weren't planning on getting the phones out on Friday, why post such? If I had originally seen a 10/14 date it would've been fine and dandy, but to see one thing and told that what you see does not matter is just ridiculous! To top it all off, y'all are shipping the lower capacity phones already but those of us who want the maximum are being put through the ringer for no reason.
    This is unacceptable.

    I want to be able to purchase apps and music from it, but I can't because I forgot the answers to the security questions for my apple ID.
    I've looked around on this website for help, but nothing was very helpful. I know I need a rescue e-mail adress, and I have 2 linked to my Apple ID.
    It ( The fourm I used ) says when I go into my apple ID and click "Passwords and Security", that there should be an option to send an e-mail to my rescue e-mail adress(es).
    The first time I tried, no option.
    I tried again, and still, no option.
    I tried that so many times I lost count, and all resulted in a failure.
    I reseted my security questions about a year ago, I'm not sure if it's that, or if I'm a total idiot and messed something up.

    The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - the two that you refer to will be alternate email addresses, not a rescue email address (you can only have one on an account).
    You won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.
