Quicktime X will only open the first file when launched.

Hi,
Here is my problem. After upgrading my MacBook 4,1 to Snow Leopard, video files should open in Quicktime X.
What's happening is that, if Quicktime X in not launched yet, the first video file I double click on in my "Movies" folder will open in Quicktime X. But then, any subsequently doubled clicked file will not open at all, and console is returning this error message:
QuickTime Player[5246] -[MGApplication _doOpenFiles:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x100b0a890
Could anybody help?

Once again, it has nothing to do with files that should only open in QT7. QT7 is already installed on my SL 10.6.1 and, yes, it opens the files that need to be opened with it.
I'm talking about a wrong behavior of QT X here. It opens whatever video file appropriate for it the first time it launches, but THEN, subsequent double clicked video files THAT SHOULD OPEN WITH QT X are not opening at all, and the console is throwing this error message:

Then, if I quit QT X, and double click on the file that previously didn't open, QT X launches and display the file as should be.

Audition only opens the first 20mins59secs of an 6 hours long audio

I have a video of a 6 hours long conference, and I exported it to AIFF format from final cut. When I open it with Quicktime 7, it appears the exact correct length, but when I open it in Audition, it only opens the first 20mins59secs. I tried opening it with Quicktime X, it also only shows the first 20 mins 59 secs of the audio.
Anyone has the same experience or knows the reason? Is it a bug or some setting I'm missing?
I'm using Audition 5.5 on a Mac, running OS X Lion 10.7.2.

What are the specs of your AIFF file? That is, bit depth, sample rate, and channels?
6 hours is 21600 seconds...
At 2 channels, 16-bit, 44100 Hz, that should be 3810240000 bytes, or 3.54 GB which is beyond the 2 GB limit for AIFF files.
I'm willing to bet that Final Cut doesn't have robust bounds checking when exporting AIFF files. You might be able to read the damaged file more sensibly if you choose a different File Importer in Audition, to do that, choose something other than "All Supported Media" in the File Open dialog:
I'd first try choosing libsndfile to open the file and see if that works. If that doesn't, choose QuickTime to open the AIFF file.
If neither of those methods work, you can always use the File > Import > Raw Data... command to open the file. You'll need to tell it what the format is in, and you'll need to remove the samples at the beginning of the file which are actually the header (interpreted as raw audio data though).
Once open in Audition, save as a file format that can handle more than 2 GB like WAV. If your file is over 4 GB, use our Wave exporter, but you'll want to choose RF64 in the options which can be more than 4 GB.

In Lion the Finder folder is now invisible. To make it permanetely visible enter the following in the Terminal applicaiton window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion for the first time or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an applicaiton.
Just launch the applicaiton, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

ITunes 10 will only play the first track of a CD, including brand new CDs.

I reinstalled my operating system and had to reinstall iTunes. Now I have version 10 and after I import a CD it will only play the first track then progressively go track by track skipping through the rest without playing. Does it even whether I try to play from the CD or from the music section I imported it to. Even have 3 brand new CDs that it is doign the same thing to, so I have a hard time believing it is a disc reading issue.

Pages will only display the first page of text.

Pages will only display the first page of text. New pages are created as usual but blank and pages are visible through quick views. Reinstalling does not fix the problem, I don't know if it is an issue with settings. Pages v 4.1 on OS 10.7.4. Running on new macbook with retina.
This is apparently a retina issue. Update hopefully soon

You have not said but it sounds like you are using a Macbook pro with retina display.
Pages is exhibiting all sorts of problems with the Retina display which Apple is supposedly working on.

Since syncing my Ipod classic three days ago, the songs will only play the first three minutes and five seconds. Then it just stops. After a little while, it moves on to the next song.

My Bionic will only show the first of a multiple upload of pictures on Facebook. A friend that has a Razor on Verizon is able to swipe through all the pictures of a multiple picture upload and see them all one at a time. I also find no way to Share on Facebook from the Bionic.

I usually have a bunch of pics I want to upload at once too! Are you going to the Gallery>Select Multiple>Choose Pictures>Menu>Photo Share Facebook? Do you have your Facebook account set up through the application on the device? Are you using Facebook for Android? This needs to be setup in order to share. Let us know!
