Quickview Query

Hello,
I created a Quickview query using the SQ01 transaction and I did not create a Infoset or a user group, is there a way for me to transport this from Dev. to QAS please give me the detailed process?
Thank You.

Hi,
Once you have created /Saved the list via quicK viewer.
Then Press SAP QUERY Button on Quick viewer. Then it will lead you to SAP QUERY.
Menu bar > Queryconvert Quick view--> assign infoset name and user group.
This will create a Query and then you can transport the query.

  • SAP Quickviewer query for pricing records - V12L and KONH / KONP

Has anyone used the logical database 'V12L' for pricing queries? There seems to be an issue with this logical database with some vague warning messages.. When I tried to create a simple table join query with KONH and KONP there are again some vague errors. I need to see the following fields in the query output.
    KONH-KNUMH, KONH-KOTABNR, KONH-KSCHL, KONP-KBETR, KONP-KONWA, KONP-KPEIN, KONP-KMEIN.
Are there any other simple and robust way to query KONH and KONP simultaneously? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Dhanaraj,
I tried linking KONH and KONP and it just gave me just warning errors that won't affect your query. Disregard those errors since your not using it anyway and proceed as usual.
Try not to query directly to these tables as much as possible for obvious reason, IT"S HUGE....
I suggest to start with AXXX pricing tables and then link KONP with it. It's faster and you can directly identify the key combinations used.
    Enjoy!

  • Modify existing SAP Query / Quickview

    Hello,
    Greetings!
We have a requirement to modify an existing SAP Query. This query was created much earlier by a user who is no longer present.
We have the query name, user group, and the program for the query. This query, we assume was created using tcode SQVI.
However, in tcode SQVI, we cannot see the query as we have not created it.
I understand that this is because the quick view has not been converted to query.
    I have referred:
    SQVI - Quick view modification
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAP/QuickViewer
In tcode SQ01, we are unable to see the query, as we get an error that the user group does not exist.
In table AQLTQ, we get an entry for the query and the user group. But the user group does not exist in tcode SQ03 as well.
In this case, how to we convert the quickview to query? Or is there any other way to edit the exisitng quickview/query?
    Kindly help.
    Best Regards,
    Smruthi

    Hello Suhas,
    Thank you for your reply.
I checked in both the tables.
There exists an entry only in AQLQCAT(Local or Client-dependent queries). We now have the infoset as well, along with the user group and the query.
When I check for the infoset in SQ02, I get an error, "Infoset <infoset name> not created"
The user group is the same as that found in table AQLTQ.

    Smruthi

  • Creation of Query - SQ01

    Hello All,
Can anybody expalin in brief regarding how to write a quiery using SQ01?
If possible can anybody send me the docs relating to this?
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Santosh Kumar V

Santosh - I am also new to SQ01, however I have some suggestions that hopefully will be helpful to you.  I recommend starting with the QuickViewer.  You can access this from SQ01 or via SQVi directly.
From here you can create your own queries (similar to local objects) which can then be converted into InfoSets/Queries in which users can access.
    1. Enter a name + Create
    2. Give a description, decide if Data Source is a table (single) or a join (many)
    3. I assume you are creating a join.  When you select join it will take you into the tool to generate the query.  The first step is selecting (and joining) your tables.  Insert table (Shift +F1) will get you started here.  Once all your data is selected you green arrow back to select/map out your selection criteria and the data in which you wish to list in the results.
    4. You can execute from here as well to confirm your results
    5. Once you are good to go, you can easily convert this query by going back to SQ01 (select SAP Query).  Enter your QuickView query name and then in the menu path select Query --> ConvertQuickView.  This will then prompt you through the steps to convert your QuickView Query into an SAP infoset/Query.
    6. Once you have created the SAP Query you can then assign usergroups via menu path environment --> usergroups for authorization.  This allows others to execute your query, however not create one themselves.
I hope this is helpful. Best of luck!

  • QuickView (run in backgroud) - How to auto save data to local file

I am using Quickview to extract data. I want to run the Quickview query in background and auto save the data extracted into local file (ASCII file). Currently when I specify File Store (as my Output Format) and enter a file name (e.g C:\Temp\test.asc). Upon completion of extraction there is a little window popup that need me to select data format (e.g DAT, ASC) and click <Transfer> button to proceed to save data into local file.
Is there a way that I can save data into local file without have to manually select ASC data format and click <Transfer> button. I will not be  able to schedule my QuickView query to run in background if I can't resolve this problem.
Note that I don't have access to ABAP programming, therefore this option is out.
Thanks in advance to anybody who can share your expertise experience.

  • How to create the Query and T Code for Special Reports

    Dear Freinds,
Could any one advise the process to create the Query and the T code for some special combination of reports. Where can we find the documentation on this if that exists?
    Thanks for the help.

Moderator: Please, search SDN - you'll find the answers

    HI
Go to Tools -->ABAP WorkBench -->Utilities --> SQVI QuickViewer ( Query Builder)
    Go to Tools -->ABAP WorkBench -->Utilities -->SAP Query -->SQ01,SQ02,SQ03
first create Infosets in SQ02, Assign Infoset to UserGroups in SQ03 and create a Query in SQ01.
Create a Transaction Code in SE93.

  • Identify Old pricing conditions

    Hello,
Can any one help. How to identify old conditions (Non Active) which are not using from last 3 years?
I executed Table KONV in background also to find active conditions but its giving dump due to memory.
is there anyway to find this?

    Hi Hari,
I am not aware of any standarrd report which fetches that data, moreover executing KONV will give you the huge transactional data and also you cannot combine it in to a quickviewer query.
By inactive do you mean expired condition records or condition records not being used in the transactions?
if you require the condition reocrds not used in transactions you should create small program for achieving it.

  • Quick view in sqvi

    Dear gurus,
i have created one quick view for scheduling agreement  where in all pending delivery schedules for a perticuler period will appear .  but i am not getting the table for OBMNG ( open quantity ).
if this is the result of deduction from scheduled qty to GR qty. & is set in the programme.
then how to take it in the quick view
    inamdar

    Inamdar,
I don't believe this functionality is available in SQVI.  For this, you would have to create a regular (not quickview) query in SQ01.  Regular queries support the creation of local fields, which can be calculations.  See online help at

  • SAP Quickview: converting to Query

    Hi,
I've created a quickview, and this quickview can be used for other users, and I want to convert this quickview to a quey.
If I go to the query screen (SQ01), there's the 'convert quickview' functionality (Menu: Query --> convert quickview). But this function is grayed out in my system, as well as the IDES sytem. I think I'm missing a step which hinders me in creating the query.
Can anyone help, will award points!
    Kind regards,
    Mark

    Mark,
It is simple you need to change the "Query area" to "Standard area - Client Specific". Currently you are checking in "Global area - Cross Client".
In SQ01 transaction, you need to use menu path Environment--->Query Areas. Select "Standard Area - Client Specific". Now try the menu: Menu: Query --> convert quickview.
Hope this resolves your problem...Reward your points,
    Regards,

  • Quickview conversion to query not available

    Hi,
I created a quickview in SQVI, and I want to convert it to query. But when I go into SQ01, in the menu the option 'convert to quickview' is greyed out.
    Anyone has idea?
    Thanks!

    Ben

    Hi,
I guess this may be due to any changes in the MP at backend BW system.
Do try the below steps and try to re-generate the query and try to access in the Universe Desinger.
    - logon to the SAP system
    - start transaction RSRT
    - enter the technical name of the BW query in the syntax CUBE/QUERY
    - click Properties
    - set the second item called Req.Status.
    - set that one to 0
    Hope this works for you.
