R/3 Serever

Hi All,
Iam trying to fetch the data from R/3 to BW, my problem is both BW and R/3 working under one server is it possible to fetch the data, if it so can any body explain me in detail.

it doesn't matter where are your SAP instances running! There is no difference in having two boxes (one R3 + one BW) or one single box running both....
what's your issue anyway??

Currently Free Goods is only working at the line item level, Is there a way that Free goods are determined based multiple line item quantities? Im using R3 not Retail R3.

Hi Nuno,
There is no way in standard SAP for giving two free items for one item.. and also no way to give a free good with ref to two line items.
Its only possible in IS Retail.... with Bonus buy

-Does remote sqlplus work from the same XP machine?
-Have you tried thin (default) or thick (with 11.2 instant client) in SQLDeveloper?
-Have you other Oracle software on the XP machine? If so you may have to set ORACLE_HOME in your cmd session to the SQLdeveloper software such that %ORACLE_HOME%\jdbc\lib exists, (so SQLDeveloper does not try your existing ORACLE_HOME).
Please do not use all CAPITALS.

Blackberry-serever ip address

I need to know the (range?) ip-address which is used by Blackberry servers (BIS).
Since we are using the business ''reply-to'' address instead of @kpn.blackberry.com I need to exclude the Blackberry-ip-address(es) in our mail-server in order to avoid spoofing.

Download GOS apdf attachment on application serever in background

Hi all, i try to download some attachments in pdf format to application server in background.
while i do it in foreground with FM 'SO_OBJECT_DOWNLOAD' it's all ok, but i need to download files in background!!!
Can anybody help me?

It is not possible to download in background mode from the presentation server to application server. SAP system is completely independent during background mode and wont allow any GUI interactions.

WebSAPConsole , telnet serever ,RF terminal and SAP logon screen

What would be the easiest way to connect RF terminal(character based) to an SAP system.
Of course it is via WebSAPconsole. As far as I red WebSAPconsole guide if I want to use it to connect character based RF terminal is the same as preaviously SAPconsole(under e.g.SAP enterprise 4.7 ext2.)
1.st install telnet server (best SLnet 2.6RF from Seattle LABS) and then configure In SAP console administrator in Control panel entered corresponding system ip,sysnr and transaction code(from saplogon)
However on RF terminal SAP logon screen does not appear. But only telnet prompt.
What to do? Should the telnet server and SAP console be on an other machine than SAP server(ECC6)?

I´m facing with same error then you. I did a homogenous system copy and after I finish this SAPINST I install the saplogon and of course I try to accede to SAP system and the first thing that display in system is that short dump --> dynpro_itab_error
What´s this?! How you solve this issue... can you remmember? (I know that already was a two years ago but even so if you remember this can you share with me!?).

Our serever too slow some times

hi,
we run Standard edition 9i 9.2.0.4 on RHEL ES 3.0 u.3.
A simple select * from mytable take 2 mn.
(mytable is empty) i now that.
When it done an update on empty tables it takes too much time.
some jobs taken 1houre now it take 2h and plus.
we have applicate the asynch I/O and increase SGA form 1.7g to 2.7G.(and no changes).

Do you install all the batches of RHEL Ser 3. Moreover The situation you describe here is very worse which indicate that there is some very basic level of error in the database or in server. I shall recomend that you should consult with experience DBA as well as Good Linux Administrator.
The Basic problem with RHEL Ser 3 is installation of oracle server. on RedHat Linux Server 9 I found the query result very much fast then windows.
Oracle Corporation recomend RHEL ser 3 for Oracle9i But this server require many configuration for oracle

para com o modelo Nacional e o Modelo Municipal, descobri que cada um deles possue manual respectivo ao seu Municipio, e me parece que dos 5 ai citados, apenas Curitiba não adotou o modelo Nacional.
Lembrando que o modelo do qual estou me referindo é para NFe de Sereviço.
A Duvida parece não muito complexa, mas como nunca implementamos nada com ralação a nota de serviço antes, qualquer confirmação é bem vinda.
Espero não ter tomado muito o tempo de vocês e já agradeço qualquer ajuda quanto a este caso.

System exception while deleting the file from app server in background job

I have a issue while the deleting the file from application server.
I am using the statement DELETE DATASET in my program to delete the file from app server.
I am able to delete the file from the app server when i run the program from app server.
When i run the same report from background job i am getting the message called System exception.
Is there any secuirity which i need to get the issue.

I get all the authorization sto delete the file from application serever.
Thing is i am able to run the program sucessfully in foreground but not in the background .
It i snot giving any short dump also just JOB is cancelled with the exception 'Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE'.

I bought an Apple TV2 and I also have the Iphone4.
Airplay seems really great and works fine for me.
there's only one things:
I bought on Itunes sereval video clips.
I'd like to be able to see the entire list on apple tv2 but after each song (video clip), everything stops and I have to select from my Iphone a new song and select again the apple TV2 by airplay.
Does someone know how to use airplay to see a list of several videos???
