  • SRM Integration in Universal Worklist (UWL)

    Hi SRM freaks,
I've one question concerning SRM integration in Universal Worklist (UWL). Currently we have integrated our SAP SRM4.0(SRM_SERVER 500) solution in the SAP Enterprise Portal6.0, and after installation from an additional Business Package the system is working perfectly.
But we have one concern about UWL integration, the workitems which are send over eMail to the endusers are still containing ITS_DEST link which is defined in PPOMA. The following web link is pointing directly to SRM-EBP ITS link and not to the portal. Our idea would be to include a web link which is pointing to portal in order to access SRM-EBP content from there.
Can somebody help us on that topic !?
    Thanks for your support.
    Rafi

    Rafi,
Hi. We are using SRM 5.5 and are intending on changing the ITS_DEST to run SRM through the portal.
That way any email links sent to the users always contain a link back to the Portal (which has our UWL configured).
I'm not too sure of the consequences of changing this attribute on release 500. Our system has an internal ITS - does yours?
    Cheers

  • Sourcing CLM-SRM Integration : Supplier mapping

    Dear Experts,
We have successfully implemented the CLM-SRM integration in our landscape.Further to this we have some clarifications required regaridng certain possibilities regarding this scenario.
    1. Is it possible to have a different vendor names for a same vendor in SRM and CLM and to map these via XI in some way.
2 What is the primary purpose of  'External Validation' option in CLM which we see in Master Agreement.
Please let me know your valuable suggestions on this topic.
    Thanks and regards,
    Gopi

    Hi Prasad,
    hope you are doing fine.
I´m standing in front of a riddle!
I´m sending from the CLM-System a Contract to the SRM-System.
This can also be created without problems in the source system, as long as we have registered for the appropriate document type in the SRM as "internal number range".
But I want that the central contract is created in SRM with the "external number" and thus there is a single number for the contract.
Thus, this number would be the same in CLM and SRM.
Unfortunately, the SRM central contract always requires an " internal number ".
If this is not available, then there is a error (CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL) in the distribution of CLM contract at SRM.
Do you know if a BAdI in the Component "ESOSRMINT" exists, which can help me?
Thank you very much and best regards

  • Order Change Mappping Missing for ECC SRM Integration

    Hello XI Experts,
We are using  ECC-XI-SRM SUS for PDP scenarion.
We have uploaded the contents and find that no message mapping program exists for Order Change -- that is ORDCHG.ORDERS02 idoc to SRM.
However there is a Interface mapping but it refers to the same mapping program as that for Order Create -- ORDERS.ORDERS02 to SRM.
Can You please let us know , if you faced this as well or not ... and what should be our course of action now.
    Thanks,
    Mani

    Anand ,
can you let us know one more thing..
For ECC-XI-SRM integration all the conents are readymade...
What else do we need to consider... like Alert config etc?

  • Document replication in e-sourcing to SRM integration

    Hello,
The company I work for has purchased SRM 7.0(classic deployment), e-Sourcing 5.1(hosted), and ECC 6.0. My company will be hiring consultants to assist in the custom integration. I am trying to find technical documentation that describes the workflow following the rewarding of a supplier to the generation of the PO in SRM or ECC. I cannot seem to find this information on marketplace, notes, or sdn. In general, is it better to replicate the PO in SRM or in ECC?
    Thank you in advance,
    Brian

The integration delivered as a standard consulting service is E-Sourcing/ CLM to ECC.  You can view the scenarios available in the integration documents.  As I understand direct to SRM integration has been done but it is still custom work.
The urls below will take you to the guides for E-Sourcing 5.1 & CLM 2.0 including the integration guides.

  • Business partner not created in SRM in  HR-SRM  integration

    Hi All,
We are setting up SRM HR integration set up with ALE idocs message type.
I ve done configuration as per guide available in SAP.Setting up parnter profiles, maintaining message types in both the systems ,mainyaining entries in tavle T77S0 for HRALX , maintaining filters in distribution model in BD64. When I start replicating the data using PFAL in R/3 ,the idocs triggered are green in both R/3 and SRM for org units ,Postions and also Persons.
Still i dont see BP created for most of the employees.Only few are getting craeted. When I check the log in SLG1 it says Marital status could not be converted.
I maintained all entries as per the entries available in R/3 in SPRO-Cross application components- SAP Business Partner-Business partners-Natural Persons-Maintain Marital status . Still i rceive the same error in SLG1 and BP is not getting craeted with idoc in green in SRM.
    CAn any one please help.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sheetal

    Hi
On SRM side using WE05 transaction see the failed IDOC's to get the complete details of the error. As you are saying that some of the users are successfully replicated issue may be on the ECC side HR info type relation ship missing. Ask your HR team to check the same.
On ECC side check table HRP1001 to see the difference between the successully replcaited users and one which failed.
    with regards

  • E-Sourcing and SRM Integration

    Hi,
Has anybody performed SRM 5.0 & E_Sourcing integration 5.0. We are looking that RFx line item could be created manually or automatically copied from shopping cart line item details and later assign source of supply to shopping cart from the award.  I would like you to share your experience/recommendation.  I know SAP is working on standard integration but not sure when it will available to general use.
    Thanks,

  • XI SRM Integration Scenarios for ShoppingCart model

We've loaded the XI content for SRM (XI7_0_SRM_SERVER_7.xxxx) from the sap marketplace and reviewed the data types, messages, and interfaces. It appears there are no pre-built integration scenarios associated with a Shopping Cart model (Purchase Orders, Advance shipment notice, etc). Does a set of pre-built integration scenarios exist, or are these generally built manually? We are going to be pushing purchase orders from ECC to SUS in most of our scenarios. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Brian,
You will have to use the standard XI scenario - " Plan driven procurement with supplier enablement" for document exchange between ECC & SUS.
This will help u push ur PO's from ECC to SUS.
    Thanks

  • SRM Integration with HR data

    Hello SDN community,
Our company is struggling right now, because we are not coming up with very good options for an SRM implementation.
I have tried to read some of the posts regarding SRM and OM integration, but I have zero experience with SRM.
I understand that SAP offers a number of ways for an HR system to mirror data either through ALE or other methods to a stand-alone SRM system.
We currently have a full OM implementation in our HR system, of org units, positions, and employees.  The SRM team is struggling though because we have a very global and functional org structure, meaning for an org unit like IT operations, we have positions from 5 different countries.  Because of this, HR does not maintain company code at the organizational unit.  We only maintain the company code at the position level in HRP1008.
Also, from my understanding when an organizational unit in SRM is linked to a company code it does it in a completely separate infotype (not hrp1008), but an infotype called 'function'.  This infotype does not even appear to be available in our HR system, which does not have SRM installed.
Also, we do not have a single purchasing organization, so the desire is to have purchasers across our organization and for the approval process to follow the HR line manager hierachy and not a separate standalone Org maintained to support purchasing.
So based on this information, can someone please provide a functional description of how a standalone ECC 6.0 system with only HR, would integrate OM data to a separate system with SRM installed?
How would this integration overcome the problem of the HR system not having the SRM OM infotypes?
How would we overcome the problem of the HR Org structure not representing a company code structure, since company codes are more granular for us at the position level?
Please direct me to any relevant documentation, as I am not finding it easy to get these questions answered on my own.
    Thank You,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
In our company we have implemented classic scenario (SRM 5.5). We are also using the organizational structure, which is transported and updated from HR system. This transportation is done with ALE distribution model (detailed information about this can be received from BASIS consultant).
In my opinion it is not necessary company code, purchasing group and purchasing organizations to be maintained in Hr structure. Once the structure is transported in SRM, you can maintain them in SRM.
I will try briefly to summaries you the integration process.
I presume that you have already establish the RFC connections between the two systems (SRM and HR), you have maintained all integration switches in both systems, and you have maintained BP number ranges for the position assignment and organizational units (in this case the number range is external for SRM and it has to be the same as in HR system).
It is very important, to maintain  the address data (such as country, city and post code) of the organizational units, before transportation of the structure from the HR system to SRM.
Relationships between Business Partner numbers of employees and org units and Central Person numbers have to be checked in transaction "Users_Gen". No errors should exist in this report.
Once the structure is transported, you have to assign the company code, purchasing organization and purchasing groups in SRM.
We are using two company codes and two purchasing organization. We have made a special development which is mapping the purchasing groups to the different Purchasing organizations (all purchasing groups are assigned to one central Purchasing organization, and after that a mapping is done in a separate table to the other Purchasing organization).
I have created manually organizational units, which represents the company code, purchasing organization and purchasing groups.
If you do so, you have to assign their functions (company, purchasing group or purchasing organization), in the FUNCTION TAB in transaction PPOMA_BBP and the responsibility of each purchasing group in the responsibility tab.
Please have in mind that the persons responsible for maintaining the organizational structure in HR system, have to be notified that you are using manually created organizational units. If the update of the SRM structure is set to be automatically from the HR structure, your units can be deleted.
After that you should maintain the attributes at organizational unit or at position level for the different users.
For example,  I have maintained company code at a position level because, in one department, representing one org unit, I have users creating shopping carts for different company codes.
Hope it is clearer for you now!
    Desi

  • PM to SRM integration through OCI catalog

    Hi,
We have sucessfully set up the necessary settings in ECC6 and SRM for OCI catalog integration when in transaction IW31 (Create Order)
I can see in table EPRTRANS the PR number and when running programme BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER the PR is transfered to SRM.  When looking in transaction SLG1 I am getting an error message saying the Tax Code 00 does not exist. Check enteries
    Regards,
    Gary

    Hi Yousif,
Why dont u save the search as a named search in MDM and then pass it onto the SRM MDM.
Save the records  as Named search in MDM Data Manager
    For eg:
    Named Search name -->> search1
Now while passing the parameters to the SRM MDM Catalog specify the Named Search in its url.
    http://J2EESERVER:PORTNO/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?sap-locale=EN&HOOK_URL=&mask=&namedSearch=search1&username=Admin&password=PASSWORD&catalog=REPOSITORYNAME&server=MDMSERVERIPADDRESS&datalanguage=EN
After passing the named search in the hook url the you will be able to see only the search which was saved in Data Manager.
    Hope dis helps u

  • How - Custom Java App- SRM Integration

I am looking to replicate some of the "Request for Quotation" creation/management functionality from SRM in a custom application (for business/technical/ease-of-use reasons) and send the created RFQs over to SAP SRM. Can I use XI to send RFQs into SRM (I know I can retrieve them using XI for custom supplier apps, but can I send them in as well)?
While reviewing the EBP mappings in Integration Builder, I       see there is a mapping for RequestForQuotation_Create_Out, but not for RequestForQuotation_Create_In. Is it possible to add this mapping?
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Conceicao,
Hi. I think RFQ's exist on your R/3 backend and not in SRM. As far as I know SRM can hold shopping carts and PO's (When using the extended classic senario). This would explain why you can't find this in XI.
Check with you applicaiton team who should be able to talk you though how SRM works, or alternatively there are auite a few documents on http://service.sap.com/srm
On a more technical level :-->
You can search for BAPI's using transaction BAPI on the backend, or the BSP as below.
    http://<YourHostName>:<8000>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/webservicebrowser/search.html
Where <YourHostName> is the fully qualified host name, <8000> is the valid port of the Web Application Server. (See transaction SMICM in need). If there is a valid BAPI (Or RFC enabled function module) then these can be called via XI. You might need to create the configuration behind it though.

  • CFolders - SRM Integration. Collaboration Not created from Bidder

    Hi All,
We are using cFolder Integration with SRM
While an RFx is published by the Purchaser, a collaboraton is automatically created and the invited Bidder have READ acces to it. But when the BIDDER logs on and tries to create a bid, collaboration is not automatically created.
I belive a private area in the collaboation should be automatically created. but this is not happeneing, says its authorisation error.
Any role apart from SAP_CFX_User to be given to the Bidder user?
    Please advise

  • One SRM integrated with multiple Backends

    Hi All
Can One SRM be integrated with multiple Backends?
If so any insights, documentation, pros-cons that can you all can share?
Does the version of SRM or ECC matter?
SRM version will be 7.0 and ECC 6 EP3.
    Thanks,
    Gamad

    Hi Gamad,
multiple backend systems for one SRM is normal and works fine.
You just need to connect the systems, replicate the materials/vendors you would like to use and maintain the SRM customizing:
    1) Add the further backend system(s):
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Define Backend Systems
    2) Define the scenario/follow-on document creation for the product categories
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings  -> Define Backend System for Product Category
    3) Define the scenario/follow-on document creation for the product categories
-> Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Define Objects in Backend System (Purch. Reqs, Reservations, Purch. Orders)

  • MQseries as Midddleware instead of SAP XI(SRM MDM Catalog&SRM integration)

    Hi
Has anybody used MQ series as Midddleware instead of SAP XI to integrate SAP SRM with SRM MDM Catalog.
If you have done so, can you please provide links or documents relevant to the same.
    Regards
    Tridip

I guess, MQ series will supply messages in a queue/topic. These messages will have to be imported into MDM as XML files. Similarly to send XML files to MQ series, u will need a middleware with a MQ series adaptor.
