I want to give radio button in selection screen side by side.
how we can do this on slection screen.
secondly i want to resize push button on selection screen.
please provide me the exact solution.

Hi babbal,
For Your Requriment yo can go to tcode se51 & then give ur program name & give screen number as 1000 because 1000 is default screen for all the programs and in se51 Press Layout button & then you can make changes to the Selection screen according to your requriment

Hi,
I have provided push button on selection screen after input fields I mean just below to input fields by using the syntax selection screen pushbutton.. And it is appearing on the selection screen. As per the requirement I need to enter material number on the selection screen and if I press corresponding push button I need to call one transaction using bdc program. I wrote case sy-comm and corresponding user command ( whatever is there in the selection screen syntax) in when condition under start of selection event.
But the control is not going to that place after I press push button. If I put that code inside of at selection screen it is going. But I can not write all the bdc program and select queries inside of at selection screen event if so please suggest me how I can proceed.
I will give the points.

Radio Buttons on Selection Screen

Hi,
I have four radio buttons on selection screen in a frame, all belonging to the same group.
When the program is called using transaction 1, first two radio buttons are displayed. When the program is called using transaction 2, bottom two radio must be displayed.
I am doing this using the following code.
The problem is : When last two are displayed, there is empty space left on the top and first two are displayed there is empty space left in the bottom of the frame. How can this be taken care of such there are no empty spaces in the box frame?

Hi,
To create a pushbutton on the selection screen, you use:
SELECTION SCREEN PUSHBUTTON [/]<pos(len)> <push>
USER-COMMAND <ucom> [MODIF ID <key>].
The [/]<pos(len)> parameters and the MODIF IF addition have the same function as for the formatting options for underlines and comments.
<push> determines the pushbutton text. For <push>, you can specify a text symbol or a field name with a maximum length of eight characters. This character field must not be declared with the DATA statement, but is generated automatically with length <len>. The field must be filled before the selection screen is called.
For <ucom>, you must specify a code of up to four characters. When the user clicks the pushbutton on the selection screen, <ucom> is entered in the UCOMM of the SSCRFIELDS interface work area. You must use the TABLES statement to declare the SSCRFIELDS structure. The contents of the SSCRFIELDS-UCOMM field can be processed during the AT SELECTION-SCREENevent.

I have put in a screen this

But It never enters 'at user-command' event !
What should i do ?

If you specify the USER-COMMAND addition, the pushbutton must be assigned a function code fcode. The function code fcode must be specified directly and can only contain a maximum of 20 characters.
Before you can work with the pushbutton, you must specify a TABLES statement to declare an interface work area for the structure SSCRFIELDS from the ABAP Dictionary.
If the user selects the pushbutton on the selection screen, the runtime environment triggers the event AT SELECTION-SCREEN and the function code fcode is transferred to the ucomm component in the interface work area sscrfields.

Selection screen modification based on various buttons in selection screen

Hi,
I have 1 query related with Selection screen modification.
In my Report Program,I have created GUI Status for my selection screen
Now 2 buttons in application toolbar are coming on selection sceen.
For this i used,'At selection screen output' event.
And there are 2 blocks on selection screen.
If user press button1 then block2 should not display.
and if user press button2 then block1 should not display.
but the problem is i m not getting reqd result and also while doing debugging its not showing me sy-ucomm value.
Any pointers on this.

Execute program using a button on Selection screen

I had placed a push button on my selection screen and now i want this button to carry all the behaviour of the std F8 function in terms of validations and execution.

Adding to the good answer provided above, you need to put your validation logic in the event At USER-COMMAND. There is where you will process the command (function key) raised by clicking on the toolbar. (assuming you did the step described by Reddy).

I want to insert data from selection screen into my ztable , I have activated save button in menu bar , with function text SAVE and function type , E , S , null , H , P all I have tesated , but it is not working , with case sy-ucomm , when 'SAVE' .
In same way Print is working but not save .I am not getting the prob .
Is there any problem , plz help me , I m in hurry .

How to clear parameters defined in selection screen on back button

Hi,
I have a report with parameters, few being input fields, and check boxes. After report is executed when user selects the back button, the selection screen is displayed again but with the old selection values. I want to clear them.
So in the Initialization even I added the code to clear all these parameters;
CLEAR: p_aaa, p_bbb, p_ccc.
I debugged and control passes through this code but still the fields are not cleared and they retain the old input values.
How to clear them ?

IMO, he only wants to clear the selection screen parameters on the click of 'BACK' button
in the list screen. If the OP clears the selection screen variables in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT
even, the values assinged to the selection parameters in the INITIALIZATION and with the DEFAULT addition of the PARAMETERS and SELECTION-OPTIONS statements will also be overwritten even when the report is executed for the
first time.

Ho to back on selection screen using BACK button

Salute.
I have a program which contains 3 screens:
1st -- selection screen.
2nd -- my screen, I called it 1002, When I press F8 button on I get on it. I am using cl_gui_alv_grid there with my own buttons. So when I press MY OWN the save button I get the 3d screen
3d -- my own screen with some labels (screen name 1001).
So when i press BACK button on the third screen I want to back on selection screen and skip second screen, but I can't, I think the problem is in the cl_gui_alv_grid because I use custom grid handler:

LEAVE TO SCREEN 0. " This makes the Program to go back from where it had started
or Create a Tcode for your program

I have a customer request to provide documentation for each transaction on its selection screen. So they want to have a button on selection screen which should download PDF file stored on SAP application server. Is this possible (they said it is) and where can I found some instructions how to implement this.

How ti disable enter button in selection screen.

Developed a report and when execute the Tx code first i get selection screen and when inputs are given in selection screen and hit enter it will direct to module pool screen.. here after giving inputs in selection screen,ENTER and F8 button are working but i want to disable ENTER button ....
