RadioButtons some buttons and layout

Hi,
I try several times to create a particular layout with jsf using panelgrid and selectoneradio but after a lot of attempts I need hlp please.
In practice I need to create a table where in each row there is a radio button, some text and a button image.
I try in a way like this

I try in many ways like add css style for vertical-align, for td height but I dont reach the goal to get and the same line radio button and text aligned with button image.
Perhaps the problem is that the selectone radio create an html radio.
Anyone has an idea?

Well if you are stuck with out of the box JSF components you will have to use the table and put the elements in columns to insure things line up.
Look at the HTML source also for clues, it will absolutely create an HTML radio and I forget exactly what HTML panelGrid is using for layout

Some buttons and links stopped to work

Suddenly some buttons in webpages which I had been using every day, stopped to work today! There was no change in the system (mac os x 10.4.5) neither in the iBook and Safari. Anyone here already experienced this problem ?

Have you managed to resolve this webs66? I had the exact same thing happen to me. On my mac, I have no way of accessing the Apple TV. There is no software on my machine and it is not being recognized by iTunes. When connected to my TV it simply shows a graphic that I need to connect it to iTunes. Is the only way to have it recognized by connecting a microUSB to USB? Will HDMI not work?

You can force a reset by turning off your device.
Depress call+end+camera buttons while powering on. Depress keys untill youre past the nokia hand shake logo screen and get prompt for pin, language/regin selection.
This is known as the hard reset and will wipe your phonememory just as the soft reset (*#7370#).

"We" can't send you a passcode as we aren't Apple and Apple do not operate in these forums providing support, rather it's other users of iPad, just like you. As a sidenote, if you have just upgraded to iOS 7 during the mini setup process you are asked to CREATE a passcode as part of the setup process.

Dynamic buttons and itemlisteners????

I'm trying to do something that might not be possible. I would like to create some buttons and actions for those buttons on the fly. For example:
1) read some files from a directory (these file store settings)
2) Create buttons using the filenames as the button labels
3) Create associated actionPerformed section related to those buttons
I want to do this because the amount of files and there names could change all the time. Basically I want to create a button for each file, and essentially launch an application using the settings file as part of a process.
So far I've read a filename into a string. The first problem, how do I use that filename as the name of a button?
JButton "string value" = new JButton();
Then, subsequently, how to you set up the action? See code snipet below.
Hope that made some sense. Can anything like this be done?

There is a way to give a button a variable name equal to the file name but it involves extremely advanced Java programming involving creating dynamic class instances. I would strongly discourage this approach because debugging it when it doesn't work, can be a nightmare.
There is a much easier way to do this however. Create an array of JButtons. Call it, oh say, "MyButtons". Then at the appropriate places, you can do:
JButton[] MyButtons;
MyButtons = new JButton[ main.size ];
for ( int i = 0; i < main.size(); i++ ) {
   Vector temp = new Vector();
   temp = (Vector)main.elementAt(i);
   MyButtons[i] = new JButton( (String)temp.elementAt(0) );
   MyButtons.addAction...
Incidently, you may also want to re-think your data structure. From what I understand, you have an array where each element is a vector (another array of zero or more elements). This results in code that is difficult to read and write. Consider making your own objects instead of using vectors, then you could write something like...
for ( int i = 0; i < main.size(); i++ ) {
   if ( source == main.getProgramName() ) {
loadProgram( main[i].getProgramName() );
The nice thing about this approach is that you can mix and match objects within the array, or add elements to each object in any particular order and it won't break the rest of your code.
P.S., use the square brackets to indicate arrays. For some reason, this board is converting them into angle brackets.

BB Curve slow to react and some buttons not working

Now my problem:
My blackberry fall directly faced down, the blackberry turn off. Then I pressed the restart button and nothing. so I remove the battery and then put it back again. The BB started, but It got hang up at the screen you could see the little clock working but never start properly so I pull off the battery again and waited like 5 minutes then I put it back.
Now my BB starts but when I left it idle and some sms arrives or call or simply if I want to use it, I have to maintain pressed any button like 7 seconds if not my BB doesnt react. I can press repetedly buttons to make it work but nothing works and the only way to make it work is maintain any button pressed.
After that BB works normally!, but now the "del" button doesnt work, I tried to remove the battery several times but every time gets the same result.
I made a hard reset twice and restored my contacts only, then I tried to make the BB work normally and guess what........ nothing!!!!!!!
so I have those two Big problems
Please anyone with a great idea? or any recomendation to get this thing working again!!!

I am not using "Clear Recent History". I have read about the session data, as you mentioned it when others had this issue. However, I'm not sure what I'm suppose to do with that. Does it mean the App Tab isn't working as promoted? I got the impression they should load with my Home Page every time I start Firefox and that's what I wanted. I don't want it to load every tab I had open during my last session FireFox. Just the App Tabs and Home Page. That's how it's described in the "What is App Tab" page.
If I select When starting FireFox... "Load Home Page & Last Session Tabs", it works, but it also loads all the other junk I have open. I don't want all of that to load every time I start, but I also don't want to have to repin all those tabs every time I start. That's annoying. I tried selecting "Use Current Pages" as my Home Page, when I had it set exactly as I wanted it, but it opened all my App Tabs as App Tabs and regular tabs, along with my Home Page. Not quite what I had in mind.
Am I just misunderstanding how it works? What's the point if you can't just keep the App Tabs and Home page on start up and not all the other junk you have open on close?

Why is FFX 4.0.1 so ergonomically poor? Doesn't save tabs anymore and some buttones, eg refresh "designed" virtually out of existence. This starts to look like IE!!

I am running FFX 4.0.1 over XP with SP3 and latest Windows downloads until yesterday pm.
I don't like the way I don't get offered opportunity to save multiple tabs on closing FFX - in fact I think I ought to be offered the chance to save any tabs I have open when I close it. To me - and I guess to a lot of others that's important. I also don't like the way that the refresh button (which I use often) and others have been relegated, aren't and aren't as obvious as they used to be.
FFX used to be ergonomically well-thought out...this looks like it is slipping backwards towards IE Standards.
I wanted to submit this via the normal "complaints" channel, but that doesn't want to work properly. Come on Mozilla; get your act together. This is possibly the worst release in years!!
FWIW I have been using FFX since it appeared and Netscape before that. I have never moaned about this sort of thing before. That is how poor I think that this is.

In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the stop or reload buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. My iPad shut off for some reason. The battery was charged. I couldn't get it to turn back on until I pressed the on button and home at the same time.Why did that happen?

I had trouble upgrading my iPad2 toiOS 5.1.I have had it for about 1 year. I had never upgraded it. I tried a few times but I kept getting a message that I would loose everything on my iPad if I did. I bit the bullet andfigured that I would restore it from the back up on my laptop. Some of the backup files were corrupted. I was unable to retore my exchange email or my notes from the noted app.
Today, my iPad shut off for no reason and I couldn't get it to turn on again, even though the battery was 70% charged. I had to press the on button and home button to get it to come back on.

I'm not sure what problem you are experiancing but it would be well worth contacting apple.
If you have had it for less than one year it should be covered under warrenty

On Windows 8, some widgets, such as the menu button near the upper right, stop working after some time, and functionality is restored by rebooting the PC.

I use the latest releases of Firefox as they become available on a Windows 8 PC. Firefox works properly, usually for a few hours, before annoying problems manifest. The problem I'm addressing here is some widgets, including some Firefox widgets and isolated widgets (such as buttons and pull-down selectors) in some websites stop working. In Firefox, the Menu button (the three stacked dashes icon) stops working. And the Download arrow sometimes stops working also. Sometimes, sub-items such as Print stop working. For some pull-downs, the up and down arrow keys might still work even though I might now be able to select with the mouse. Closing and reopening Firefox usually restores some functionality. However, I usually have to reboot the PC to restore all functions which stopped working. Then I am good for usually a few hours again. Another annoyance, which others have addressed, is the eventual appearance of Chinese-looking characters on the tab labels bar across the top. Restarting Firefox gets rid of these for the time being. the oriental characters are a displaying flaw caused by the mcafee site advisor extension - please try to disable or remove that in case you have it present until there is an update by mcafee that can fix the problem.

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

If that still doesn't fix the problem, then the keyboard (or its controller) is probably damaged and needs to be replaced.

Ok, i'm a boob, i was using firefox, hit some button inadvertantly and now when i double click to open it, it goes straight to minimized. Using 33.1.1 with windows xp.

Thank you for your advise. While your remedy does work to that end, i usually have my browser set to partial window rather than full screen, so I'd have to make an adjustment that way too. It used to come up into the partial screen, but now drops to the task bar upon opening. Or it opens full screen, if i set it to full screen before closing out my browser. I'm looking to have it open to partial screen like it used to. Any ideas?

Home Button Page Showing Button and RadioButtons Before Anything Else

When I click on my Home button to return to the home page of my mobile application, the one button and two radiobuttons that are part of this view show on the screen before the background image so you get kind of a white flash effect (the white background because the image hasn't loaded yet). This is very brief but annoying.
Is there any way to prevent this?

Buttons and Forms and Layout Adjustments

I have an InDesign form in which there is a radio button that toggels the visabiltiy of a form field. It functions fine; no problems. However, when the the form field is visable, it covers other areas of text. I would like to know whether it is possible to have a layout make adjustments to accomodate space for the form field. In this case, have the text boxes shift down if the form field is open or shift up if the form field is closed.

It is possible, but not for radio buttons and not for PDF. I tested it. You can use a normal button to make the form field appear and make the text box jump down. You can use another button, to do vice versa. Both would be action type "Animation", which can't be assigned to radio buttons. So no toggling.
