Random thumbnail problem +quick fixes not working on others.

I have system 10.6.8,Iphoto '11 9.2.3(IMAC).Some thumbnails in "photos"(under library on left of screen)are blank but when double click them they open,briefly show ! and then open and edit ok.Shot pictures the other day in JPEG+RAW and random JPEGS will not edit with quick fixes(crop etc)and some will.All RAW seem to work ok.Pix downloaded from 3 camera cards.I rebuilt Iphoto library checking the first 3 boxes.Also some photos (JPEGS)from various dates display the ! when double clicked.Any help would be much appreciated.

Addendum-All raw do not work ok.Some will not let me edit major fixes such as cropping and go out of focus when edit is selected and remain there until double click them out of edit.

We have a two week old iPod touch that started going to a white screen. We reset holding both buttons as many have suggested, but it returns and ends up going to white with a black apple fading away. It never returns to normal. iTunes won't recognize the iPod, either. Any way to reset without using iTunes?

Try a reset, and if that fails, try again while in the appstore. No data is erased.
To reset the device:
Hold the power button and the home button down until the device shuts off, then power it back on and see if the problem is resolved.

Problems with HP4620 not working with other computers in the house

I purchased an HP 4620 for my home and it works great wirelessly with my Vista laptop. However, it does not show as an option for our desktop or our second laptop. Any ideas?

OS means Operating system , Windows 7 and Vista are Operating system's for desktop and laptop. You will have to install the drivers and then connect the printer ..this will finish the printer software installation and you will be able to just click on printkey and print.

This is an iPad user to user forum, so you are not addressing Apple. Depending on how many user helpers are on-line, it may take several hours, or longer, to get a response.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause an issue like that. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

You have Acrobat Pro on your system. It will try to open PDFs, and of course it will fail. You must uninstall it. Then, you will need a PDF reader. So install Adobe Reader. That seems quite simple, but perhaps something is wrong. If anything goes wrong with these two steps (1) uninstall Acrobat Pro (2) install Adobe Reader, then please let us know the details.

Your posts was great you were not whining about your rights to file complaints to the FCC or FTC etc. One of the best I have read.
And I am not trying to sway you from your phone choice. If you looked at my avitar it shows apple iphones. But I use and have used androids and not Windows phones.
However your numbers of windows phone users all leaving over the issue is miniscule in the number of users of Android and iOS devices.
I have written many times I wish all the devices get updated like iOS devices do. But at present that is not happening
No bashing, no adversarial post just a little common sense is all I use.

Double tap Home button and delete Camera app from multitask-list.
Do a

Elite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update

DElite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update <font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="4">Elite Pro CMSS-3D control (on I/O console)no longer controls CMSS-3D.
The only time it works is if the original drivers are installed from the installation CD.
ANY other drivers stop the control on the Elite Pro I/O console from having any effect on CMSS-3D.
Also at one time when I cotrolled volume, CMSS-3D(original drivers), EAX and Crystalizer from the Elite Pro I/O controls then I had on screen display of said control that was being moved(on I/O console).
Now regardless of what drivers are installed, there?are no longer any on screen indicators.
The indicators looked like the ones that show when using the remote controller.
Anyone have any ideas?

Derivation Rules Not Working for other company codes

I have 5 Company codes and only for one FM was activated. now i want to activate FM for all 5 company codes. for which i have assigned the FM area to all 5 company codes. I have also assigned the derivation strategy to all 5 company codes as well. now when i post a transaction for any other company code derivation rules is not being process hence no commitment item or fund center is derived. however for the original company code for which FM was activated in the first derivation rule are working fine means system is deriving commitment item and fund center. can any one tell me why derivation rules are not working for other company codes? do i have to add Company code in source field of derivation strategy? could this be the reason? because in beginning there was no other company code so we did not included any company code field in the first place.

Go to Funds Management Government> Actual and Commitment Update/Integration> Activate/Deactivate Funds Management.
In the screen create an entry for each Company Code and Funds Management Area combination.
Activate the AA Derivtn flag if you want the derivation to be called and the Update flag if you want to update commitments and actuals in FM.

Qwertzuio not working - all other keys fine

the aforementioned keys on my Air's internal keyboard have stopped to work. This has happened before, and it went away again. PRAM-Reset and Restart had not solved it at the time, I don't know what did.
Now they are dead again. Does anyone know how to reactivate them?

HT5682 April 22, just installed the latest update to fix the Java problem, it does not work.

About a week ago I installed a MAC update. I discovered that I was unable to play POGO games. I know that is not up there with all other uses of MAC... let's get back on track here. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, and reset preferences at least 6 times to get JAVA back.

My Intel MAC circa 2009, is running MAC OS X Lion 10.7.5   Safari 6.0.4
Today I received another update from Apple stating it would provide the answer to POGO 6 and you can select certain sites that can be accessed.
This also was a FAIL!
I now know the steps, can access TERMINAL without shaking, have learned to use GO to access UTILITIES. I still end up with JAVA not recognizing that their software has a place in my heart and I truly hope on my computer soon.
I have been playing a horrible game of Solitaire on another site.
Are there others out there with this problem or is it just me? Can anyone suggest anything else?
