Rating in Account?

There is a field in CRM 7.0 called Rating for the account.  What does this field map to in Transaction BP?
Also where can I define the inputs for the rating field.  Right now when I click the square button o bring up the dialog in CRM 7.0 to select the rating the grid shows no values.  Where can I define the ratings at ?
Thanks,
Jon

I found the answer I just realized that the classification is user defined.  Here is a note I wrote to myself:
Special Note:  For the rating you must first create the account as an organization, save it, and then after you save it select the value u201CAccountu201D from the field u201CChange in BP roleu201D.  This will specify the role of the organization as an account.  If you do not do this you will not see the field u201CCLASSIFICu201D.  When you select the value u201CAccountu201D you will notice a new tab appear called u201CClassificatonu201D.  When you select this tab you will see the Classification field.
This then maps to the structure BUPA_CRMD01     Field CLASSIFIC
So this CLASSIFIC field can be managd via:
SPRO->Customer Relationship Management->Master Data àBusiness Partner->Define Attributes->Define Customer Class

  • IMix Search Ineffective

    What am I crying about...
I was searching for my own iMix on iTunes. It took me a long-assed time to find it. Here's why...
    1) Searching by name doesn't work.
The title of my playlist is "Alternative as I Wanna Be." It's a crappy title, I can admit that. But, I couldn't find it by typing "Alternative" in the iMix search. No, that would seem too logical.
If you search iTunes for "Fiddler," you can find "Fiddler on the Roof." Simple. If you type "Alternative" in iMix, you find everything but "Alternative as I Wanna Be." For some reason, the iMix search can't deciper the fact that "Alternative" is, in fact, one of the words in the title. You or I could figure this out. Why can't a computer?
    2) Sorting by rating is useless.
Other sites that have rating systems, like YouTube, have a good thing going. Not only are results sorted by rating when you choose to "sort by rating," but the number of times rated is accounted for. This way, some a-hole can't go on, give his post a 5-star rating, and laugh at what suckers the rest of us are.
iTunes' iMix search, however, does not work this way. I can't understand why a playlist rated once at 5 stars gets higher billing than a playlist rated 570 times at 4.5 stars. That's not how the world works... that's not how life works. Change it.
MacBook Pro (Intel Core Duo)   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

I haven't even tried it yet, but found this on another thread:
On the iTunes Store main page, click on iTunes Essentials in the More in Music section at the right side. When the iTunes Essentials page comes up, click iMix in the More in Music section on the left side.
Then you can browse. Don't see any way to search.

I upgraded my computer to OSX Yosemite yesterday, since then I have not been able to receive mails rather than my icloud account.
I am using the same mail set up which was working before.
I also check the Mail connection doctor and all the other mail boxes work fine.
I could sent mails but I do not see any incoming mails.
    Please help.

    Hello HK mac user,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
You can follow the steps in this article to troubleshoot your email accounts. You mention using Mail Connection Doctor, but not how it rated the account in question. This article will give you steps to perform depending on what Mail Connection Doctor says.

  • Why can't I buy TV shows with a high rating? Is there something I need to select on my account?

  • May I using one iTunes base (library, rating, configs etc.) on two PCs (two iTunes under one AppStore account)?

My music is on the portable disk, may I place iTunes files there and configure its like as portable apps?

Yes, though having only one copy of the library isn't wise. Here is an earlier post of mine on this topic.
    Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers
Although it isn't possible to sync an Apple device with two different libraries it is possible to sync with the same logical library from multiple computers. Each library has an internal ID and when iTunes connects to your iPod/iPad/iPhone it compares the local ID with the one the device normally syncs with. If they are the same you can go ahead and sync...
I have my library cloned to a small 1Tb USB drive which I can take between home & work. At either location I use SyncToy 2.1 to update the local copy with the external drive. Mac users should be able to find similar tools. I can open either of the local libraries or the one on the external drive and update the media content of my iPhone. The slight exception is Photos which normally connects to a specific folder on a specific machine, although that can easily be remapped to the current library if you create a "Photos" folder inside the iTunes Media folder so that syncing the iTunes folders keeps this up to date as well. I periodically sweep my library for new files & orphans with iTunes Folder Watch just in case I make changes at one location but then overwrite the library with a newer copy from the other. Again Mac users should be able to find similar tools.
As long as your media is organised within an iTunes Music or Tunes Media folder, in turn held inside the main iTunes folder that has your library files (whether or not you let iTunes keep the media folder organised) each library can access items at the same relative path from the library folder so the library can be at different drives/paths on different machines. This solution ensures I always have adequate backups of my library and I can update my devices whenever I can connect to the same build of iTunes.

  • HT201272 Why aren't tunes i purchased on earlier devices (same iTunes account) available for me to download now???

I bought an ipod nano (gen II) many moons back and then updated to an iPod touch.
Over the years, I've purchased music from iTunes that I now wish to add to my new device.
But when I check my ITunes purchases, the older purchases just don't show - even though they were all purchased using the same iTunes account.
This seems a bit unfair and comes across as a rip-off as I don't want to have to buy them all again.
In the olden days, you went to the record shop and bought records. But when you traded in your old record player for a smart new hi-fi you didn't have to walk back to the shop and buy all your records again.
It's the reason why I won't upgraded my gen I touch to a new one.
(Apple seem a bit quick in this respect. I bought the v.expensive Apple Hi-Fi to play music through my nano. When I upgraded to my iPod Touch, they'd changed the voltage rating on their devices and so the Apple Hi-FI no longer worked fully with the Apple iPod Touch!.I had to buy a 3rd party adaptor which ruined the look of the whole setup - not good esp. as you buy apple gear for its design).
I've reached the point where i'll probably never buy another apple product.

All purchases should be available.  Are you sure they were purchased under the same ID?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You should ALWAYS have a backup copy of your purchases.
When you bought records, you kept the records, just as you should keep the songs you downloaded.  If you throw them away with your ipod, then they are gone, just as if you threw away a record with the record player.
You can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod:  File>Transfer Purchases
It is 100% your fault if you fail to maintain a backup copy of your music.
You will never be happy with any digital product if you fail to do the basics.

  • Programs crash in one of the Windows 7 Accounts

First of all, if you are reading this, I’m sorry it’s so long winded. But the issue is complex and I wanted to provide enough details to allow the best of solutions.
I have two accounts in my Windows 7 Home Premium equipped Satellite L505D laptop. They are Administrator and Owner. I run in the Owner account. I have experienced several issues that have been blamed on problems with the Owner account.
The worst issue is that the PC freezes up if I don’t turn on Silent mode in Norton Internet Suite 2010. If it’s not in Silent mode, the computer freezes up every time. Believing it to be a Norton issue, I spent literally more than 30 hours with Norton techs until the issue was escalated to a senior tech. After several more conversations and trials and errors, he suggested that I switch to Administrator mode and see if the machine freezes with Silent mode turned off. It didn’t freeze up at all. Therefore, it’s Norton’s opinion that there is an issue with "permissions" in the Owner account.
A similar problem is that three or four other programs freeze up. They don’t cause the PC to stop working—only the program stops working. Of them, two are programs that are not on the Windows 7 compatibility list. Knowing they are not on the compatibility list, I installed them anyway and they work with no problem other than they sometimes freeze up. The other program that stops working is MS Outlook 2003, which is on the compatibility list, but it sometimes stops working, too.
A final problem is that in the Owner account, I sometimes can not access files on my desktop PC via my LAN using Windows Explorer. I can always access the files from the Administrator account. In the Owner account, I’m unable to access the files about 1/3 of the time. But if they are accessible, they remain assessable until I turn off one or both of the PCs. When I reboot, it’s always a question whether I can access the files. However, even though I may not be able to view the files in Explorer, I have access to the files from within programs as long as it’s a recently opened file. For example, if I recently worked on a document in Microsoft Word on my laptop and the file is on the desktop PC, I can open the file from the laptop even though I can’t see the file with Windows Explorer. That is true of any program and any file as long as the file is listed in the recent files list of the program. If it’s not on the list and Explorer isn’t working, then I don’t have access to the file.
I have had four or five conversations with Toshiba support techs since Norton gave me their opinion. Three said that I need to so a System Recovery. Two of the calls were today and the first one said that I could delete the Owner account and set up a new account. This would be a lot less time consuming than doing a complete recovery and I was hopeful it would resolve the issue. He was going to walk me through the procedure and we were disconnected. When I called back, the different rep discouraged me against replacing the Owner account. He suggested using a Restore Point. If that didn’t work, follow it with a System Repair. If that didn’t work, then the next step is full System Recovery. I checked the restore points and I have nothing newer than August and the problem dates back several months.
So here are my questions: 1. Should I expect that replacing the current Owner account with a new Owner account will resolve the issue? 2. Could the issue be caused by the installation of programs that are not on the Win 7 compatibility list? 3. If the older programs do cause an operating system instability issue could that by resolved by an upgrade from Windows 7 Premium to Windows 7 Professional, which would allow me to run Windows XP in virtual machine mode?
    I would appreciate your input.
    Thank you.
    Dan
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    1. So you have problems in both the Owners and the newly minted Danny account….
Jerry, yes the problem is with the Owner’s acct and has been all along. And it’s in the new account, Danny, which I created at your suggestion. As to whether they were created as "Standard" user accounts, I have to confess that I have no idea. You see, I have never had an appreciation for "Accounts" and, therefore, have never learned about their significance. So when I bought my Toshiba, I didn’t create any account. Although I have since learned that it came with two accounts, all I did was turn it on and start loading programs. I only learned about the Administrator account being separate from the Owner account in my many conversations with Norton. I have used the Owner account all along not by any design on my part. It was because it booted up in the Owner account.
    2. Worth tearing Norton out by its roots…
I’ve been anti-Symantec for years. I just haven’t found Internet Security Suite that is rated as highly overall. I’ve been thinking about removing it to see if this problem would go away. I didn’t  because the senior tech support person convinced me it is a Windows "Permissions" issue. His viewpoint was more plausible because of the occasional freeze up of other programs (but the PC itself doesn't freeze up with them).
    3. There are dozens of Satellite L505Ds…
Oops…I thought you were just asking for confirmation of the L505D nomenclature. The complete info is L505D-S5983, part number PSLV6U-00J001.
    4. Bingo. You got that right. I've hung around CompuServe since 1980…
I was a CompuServe user long before their unfortunate acquisition by AOL. I had a couple of IDs over the years. I don’t remember the long term one. My current ID is DannySall. I logged into the WUGNET forum and found one of my postings from last May to which you replied. Outlook 2003 wouldn’t retain its password. I sent a reply to you on July 25 to say that I resolved the issue by deleting an account.
    5. Because of your Microsoft knowledge and connection, I'd like to ask you about something else. I have a few programs that are not on the Windows 7 compatibility list. I figured I had nothing to lose and tried installing them anyway. I was able to install all but one of them. They run with no problem. My question is this: Is it possible that installing non-compatible programs can damage the operating system and cause the problems I have?
Thank you for all your time and suggestions.

  • Problems with overage charges and making account changes on line

I have quite a bit of history involving my attempts to resolve the problem of catching my account before it goes over the minutes allowed and making the changes on line (to cut down on call volume) to change my account to raise the minutes allowed for that billing cycle.  I was given one reason why it didn't work the first time (I didn't print out my confimation proving I made the changes - bit the bullet and paid those charges) and so the second time wanting to avoid the problem from the first time I made sure I printed out my confirmation.  The confirmation had an effective date of change of 07/19/2012 the day I was informed I was nearing my allowed minutes.  There were only 4 or 5 maximum days left in that billing cycle so I wanted to nip the problem in the bud and make the changes to my account to be made "that" day.  My confirmation said the changes were effective 07/19/2012.  In plently of time before that billing cycle ended.  Again I was told I did something wrong.  This time I'm holding my confirmation in my hand even as the person is telling me again I did it wrong.  The purpose Verizon wants it's customers to use the available on-line option is to cut down on their call volume.  I didn't go to school to get the knowledge apparantly needed to perform these particular tasks in a manner that is acceptable to Verizon.  Has anyone else had problems with trying to fix their problems themselves using Verizons "helpfull" on-line choice?

I have an explanation for you by what was meant by "you did it wrong."
When you make a change effective the date you are requesting it and not at the start or end of your billing cycle, your minute usage for that month is pro-rated.
For example, you say you made a change, because you were nearing your allowance limit, on 7/19/2012 and wanted it effective that day with 5 days left in the billing cycle. Lets assume that your allowance is 700 minutes/month and you were at 675 minutes for that month(still under your monthly allowance). If you make a change effective with 5 days left in your billing cycle to the 1400 minute/month allowance, your allowance for the 1st 25 days of your cycle will have been pro-rated to (25/30) * 700 = 583 minutes. This would mean you would have already had an overage of 92 minutes for the 1st 25 days of the month. Additionally, you would have a pro-rated allowance to use the last 5 days of (5/30) * 1400 = 233 minutes. This is how the pro-rating works when you make a change effective during the middle of your billing cycle.
What you need to do next time to avoid these overage charges is to make the change effective at the beginning of your current billing cycle. So if you had made the change on 7/19/2012, but your billing cycle ended on 7/24/2012(5 days later), you should have made the change effective at the beginning of your current billing cycle, or 6/24/2012. This is called backdating the change. In this instance, you would have received a credit on you account for the cost of the 700 minute plan and been charged the full amount for the 1400 minute plan on your next bill, which I believe is a net additional charge of $10 and you would have had the use of 1400 minutes for throughout the entire month. In this example, you would not have had any overage with your 675 minutes during the 1st 25 days of your cycle and would have been able to use 725 minutes over the last 5 days of your billing cycle. This is much better than the overage charge you would receive with 92 overage minutes @ $0.45/minute = $41.40.
    I hope this explains it.

  • Sharing an iTunes library between multiple accounts on one machine

I have tried to set up a shared library so that all users on my computer can access the same music. I have tried moving my iTunes folder to the HD under Users, Shared and setting the filepath in the Preferences, Advanced, General to point to that location. It works fine with the main admin account but other users have an empty library despite their paths being altered also.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

It's a misunderstanding that setting the 'iTunes Music folder location' tells iTunes to look at that location.
The iTunes Music folder location is the location where your next imported CD is stored. The song locations however are stored inside the 'iTunes Library' file which is in ./Users/YourUsername/Music/iTunes.
Moving the music folder to another location without 'telling' iTunes normally will lead to loss of links. You will see exclamation marks before the song name, telling that iTunes can't find the files.
Recent versions of iTunes can track a moved folder, when it's moved on the same disk.
The other users will not see this music. You have to copy the 'iTunes Library' file and put it in the iTunes folder of the other user(s).
    --edit
Instead of copying the 'iTunes Library' file, you can add the entire music folder to each users library.
This will enable every user to apply their own rating (which is not stored in the song file, but in the 'iTunes Library' file).
    --end of edit
They will then have full access to the library, which means, every user can add and delete music from the shared library.
The methods of sharing music are described here:
iTunes: How to share music between different accounts on a single computer
    Hope this helps.

  • IOS 7 Only Allows Find My iPhone with Primary iCloud Account

While iOS7 may be a big leap forwards in most respects, the "Find my iPhone" feature has taken a big step in reverse. This useful feature is NO LONGER AVAILABLE for use with secondary iCloud accounts, ONLY your PRIMARY account.
This may not be a huge concern for most users, because many (including most first-tier tech reps at Apple I've spoken to) seem to believe that you can only have one iCloud account on a device. NOT TRUE. While you can only have one PRIMARY account, you can add multiple additional iCloud EMAIL accounts (go to Settings/Mail, Contacts & Calendars/Add Account/iCloud). In the last iOS, once you created a new, secondary iCloud email address, you could activate many iCloud features for use with the new account, including Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Reminders, Notes, Safari Data (which never actually worked), and Find My iPhone. Under iOS7, however, Find My iPhone is no longer available. Instead, a small paragraph below the new iCloud email account setup screen says "Only your main account can use Bookmarks, Photo Stream, Documents & Data, Backup, and Find My iPhone."
Consider two cases where this is a huge problem.
    1) We have a large number of company iOS devices that we need to keep track of.
    2) Personally, I have an iPhone and iPad, and so does my wife. So do our kids!
In both the above cases, we created a secondary iCloud account, we'll call it "[email protected]", and added it as a secondary iCloud email address on ALL our iOS devices. In the setup screen we disabled everything EXCEPT "Find My iPhone". This account has a unique password, making it possible to see the location of ANY OR ALL the devices using the Find My iPhone App, WITHOUT having to share email, contacts, calendars, etc. among all these devices.
In our company, I can tract the location of any iOS device I gave to an employee, but his personal PRIMARY iCloud account is used to keep his mail, contacts, calendars, etc. secure. He shares this data between his iPhone and iPad, but NOT with everyone else. In my family, we all have our own primary iCloud accounts. I share mine between my iPhone and iPad; my wife and kids do the same. This allows us to keep our calendars, contacts, emails, etc. separated. But we all used the secondary iCloud email account ONLY with Find My iPhone. This allowed everyone in the family to see the location of everyone else, very nice in an emergency. Unlike the Find My Friends app, the device being located doesn't have to respond to a request to be found (very important when finding a lost or stolen device).
In both the above cases, we just log into the Find My iPhone APP on ANY iOS device, using the secondary iCloud account's email address and password (the email address is actually saved in the app, so you really only need to enter the password after the initial login). Viola! You can now see the location of any device that has that secondary iCloud account installed. And a person can still be untrackable if they wish, simply by turning off the Find My iPhone feature under the shared account's iCloud account settings on their device.
Alas, with iOS7 this is no longer possible. With the Find My iPhone feature only available for use with the device's PRIMARY iCloud account, there are only two ways to track another device:
    1) Use the same primary iCloud account (which forces you to share other data and features you may not want to);
    2) Log into the Find My iPhone APP with the PRIMARY iCloud email address and password of the person you want to track.
Either way, the person doing the tracking MUST have access to the PRIMARY iCloud credentials of the device they are tracking. This is a large security hole! Ask yourself: if you are a parent, do you really want your kids to have access to your primary iCloud account, including your mail, contacts, calendars, etc? Some people may not want their spouse to access that. In a company setting, do you want all your employees to be FORCED to share Documents & Data, Backup and Bookmarks, just to use the Find My iPhone feature? If they want to keep their mail, contacts, calendars, etc. separated from other employees, they will be forced to move these to a secondary iCloud account, which will no longer allow them to share Bookmarks, Photo Stream, Documents & Data or Backup. Why this ridiculous limitation?
The bottom line:Find My iPhone is now only useful for the primary iCloud account holder, and can no longer be used effectively between larger numbers of iOS devices, such as families or corporate institutions. This should be addressed in the next update to the iOS.

Brad, and everyone else, just to clarify my original post that started this thread, and offer a workaround or two: you CAN  still locate, erase etc. any iOS device using Find My iPhone in iOS7,  but the device you want to track or erase must EITHER use the same PRIMARY iCloud account as you do, OR you must log into the Find My iPhone app on your phone using THEIR primary iCloud account's username and password.
For parents, that's not a big deal, maybe just an annoyance: give your kids their own individual primary iCloud accounts, but you jot down their username and password in their contact info on your phone. Log Into FMI with that and track them.
The real pain is if you as an adult want others to be able to see where you are, WITHOUT also giving them access to your other iCloud info. For then to see you, THEY must either use the same PRIMARY iCloud account as you do, or they must have your username and password to log into the FMI app...which means they cal also see all your other stuff, even if you turn off the FMI feature on your phone. Anything you share with iCloud will be visible to anyone with access to your iCloud account.
For corporate users who want to track and manage company-owned iOS devices without having all of them use the same primary iCould account, this is a big pain. For families, imagine being on a vacation, or experiencing a disaster, accident, etc, where you'd really want everyone to be able to locate each other, even if they are unable to answer their phone or otherwise respond...a very real possibility in today's world. Now not so easy without compromising privacy and security.
I have three workarounds. The first two use Find My iPhone and so require everyone to use the same PRIMARY iCloud account.
    1) the simplest thing is to go to your device under Settings/iCloud and toggle off anything you don't want others to see...but if you have multiple devices of your own (say an iphone and an iPad), this prevents you from sharing with yourself. Bummer.
    2) It occurred to me today that with iOS6 there was a way to lock out changes to features in Settings. Sure enough, it still works with iOS7. Enabling this feature allow everyone to share the same PRIMARY iCloud account WITHOUT sharing other things you'd like to keep private. Enabling this feature will prevent the person with the device from making any changes to the Accounts on their device (Mail, Contacts, Calendars), so you'll need to think about what features of these accounts you WANT to allow before following the steps below. ALL THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE PERFORMED ON THE OTHER DEVICES IN YOUR FAMILY/COMPANY, not your own.
    A) I suggest entering airplane mode in Settings to prevent the device you are working on from downloading any of your iCloud info during this process.
    B) Next, be sure YOUR PRIMARY iCloud account is listed on the person's device that you wish to track (kid's employee, etc). Go to Settings/iCloud to check this, and if necessary sign out of their iCloud account here and sign in with your primary iCloud account.
    C) Add a second iCloud account using their personal iCloud email address (the one you just deleted as the primary). Set this one to share whatever they need to (their own Mail, contacts, calendars, etc). If they weren't previously using iCloud for anything but tracking and already had their own email account set up, you can omit this step.
    D) Now, decide what features of your Primary iCloud account you do NOT want this person to be able to see or use  (mail, contacts, calendars, etc). On THEIR DEVICE go to Settings/iCloud, and toggle OFF any of these things, but be sure to leave anything they need to share. A common issue here will be Photos. Since Photo sharing is now ONLY supported with the primary account, I suggest leaving this on, but you can still prevent them from seeing your new photos if needed. Tap the arrow to the right of Photos, and on the next screen toggle off "My Photo Stream", but leave on "Photo Sharing" which allows them to see, create and subscribe to other shared steams, just not your primary photostream. You can instead make this same Photo setting on your device, which has the same result. Or just disable Photos altogether. Whatever setting suits you the best.
Once you have decided which features of your primary iCloud account you'll allow this person to see, BE SURE YOU HAVE ALSO TURNED ON "Find My iPhone" here.
    E) Lastly, go to Settings/General/Restrictions. Tap "Enable Restrictions". Enter a new password (twice- this is NOT the same password for the device, but only for locking and unlocking restrictions, so use a new one only you will know). Scroll down to the "Allow Changes" section and tap "Accounts." Tap to place a check next to "Don't Allow Changes". Exit from Settings.
You're done! Repeat the above steps on every device in your family or company you want to track. You will now be able to track all of them at one time using Find My iPhone on your device, from your primary iCloud account, and they will also be able to see your device location, but they will not be able to see any of your information as long as you toggled it off and then locked out account changes under restrictions. Be aware that they will not be able to add, delete or change any Mail accounts unless you unlock the restrictions. But you will likely have their own separate email account on this device (step C above).
    3) if this is too much for you to handle, and tracking is your primary concern,  in the App Store there is a free app called "Find my Kids - Footprints" . They just released a new iOS7 version which is unrated, but the previous version was reasonable well rated. After a trial it requires an annual subscription (which removes the ads, and it is VERY cheap), but it irks me to pay for a service that I used to get for free.  I haven't tried it yet, but it seems to do a bit more that the Find my iPhone app as far as tracking...but it can't lock or erase your device. You'd still need to use their primary iCloud account for that. I'm sure we'll be seeing more apps like this in the near future.
    Hope this helps.

  • Sharing between multiple iTunes accounts

Need some help with the 6 Apple devices we now have in our house all sharing information, some of which we don't want to be shared.  Here is what we have:
    iMac
    iPod 4
    iPod 4S
    iPad 1
    iPod Touch 4th Gen (2)
All of these devices share the same iTunes account (mine), but the two phones have different phone numbers (mine and my wife's), and I don't want to get her texts and e-mails and don't want her getting mine.  Can I set up a separate iTunes account for her but still have her have access to all of the apps currently on my iTunes account without her having access to my texts and e-mail accounts?  Or would I need to manually download and then upload each app to her phone if we set up a new account?  I assume music, photos, etc. will not be an issue because I can easily do that manually through the iTunes interface.  It is the external communication functions I'm most concerned about solving.
I also want to set up a third iTunes account for the family, which would mainly just be for the two iPod Touch devices that my kids use.
    Thoughts, recommendations, guidance greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • Transfer app from one account to another with same SKU number

    Hi,
I want to transfer a application from one account to another and i get this error:
You cannot transfer apps with a App product ID that is the same as a product ID used by the recipient's app.
The Apple ID for both applications is different.
The only thing in common in the SKU number which i have to admit, is poorly chosen for both apps - 01.
I don't want to re-submit my apps so i can choose a new SKU number for one of them.
Is there any way i can transfer them ?
I think you should be able to choose a new SKU number when you transfer to another account because your app is going to belong in a new inventory.
    Thanks

Found the answer today from Apple:
"It is not possible to transfer an app that has an identical SKU/product ID to another app on the recipient's account. If you would like the app to be distributed on the App Store through this specific account, you will need to remove it from sale, delete it from the current account, and then upload it as a new app in the new account. Deleting the app will enable you to use the app name in the new account.
When you move the app to the new account, you will disable current customers from receiving automatic and free updates of your app. Also, all customer reviews, rating, and ranking information will be reset.
Deleting an app permanently removes the app and any associated In-App Purchases from iTunes Connect. After the app has been deleted, you won’t be able to reuse your app name and SKU. Also, if you have uploaded a binary or enabled the app for the iAd Network, you won’t be able to reuse your Bundle ID.

  • VZW strong-armed my account, data, refuses help doesn't care.

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer since the Bell-Atlantic Mobile merger in 2000.  How they are treating me, their customer of over 14 years is unconscionable.  I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan that they will not allow me to use, will not return calls as promised, nor will they honor any promises or assurances given to me by several employees.  Verizon just doesn't care about me.
In 2008 I left the private sector to work for the government.  At that time I had two plans with the unlimited data feature.  One was mine, the other a line that I purchased for my father who had recently retired.  My credit card is charged every month for that line, it has never been in default.  In 2011 I took a job with the state prosecuting attorney's office.  I was issued a phone by the county with the government's unlimited call, text, email and data features.  At that time, Verizon no longer offered the $29.99 unlimited data feature on their new plans.  I was fortunate to have two plans that were grandfathered.  I called customer service to suspend my line, and was told that because I was both grandfathered and moving to a government line with the same data feature, and because I still had a plan (father's) with that feature, I would be able to retain and reinstate that plan and feature in the future.  Fast-forward to May 2014 and Verizon has broken every promise and just doesn't care.
I left the government and returned to private practice this month.  On May 16, I submitted a Government Agency to Personal/Employee Assumption of Liability form in order to retain the same number that I have had for the last several years with the area code of the county where I had moved and plan to stay.  Verizon's government employee support agent explained to me that she was unable to set me up on the same plan I had suspended because it no longer existed.  After explaining what I was assured by Verizon when I took the government job and getting nowhere, I was told that once the AOL had gone through, I could talk with consumer support and they would be able to help me.  It was suggested, and I agreed to just a basic "place-holder" plan so I could transfer the phone number to my account  and then go forward with customer support.  In the interim, she would move the number from my grandfathered plan to the "place-holder" and my AOL work number to the grandfathered plan so that I can immediately have my unlimited data feature.  I found that to be reasonable and agreed.  The transfer (so I thought) went through and I thanked her for her help.  I even rated the call as at least a 9/10 in customer support and satisfaction.  I immediately received two text messages from Verizon, that I had assumed the liability and that my number had been removed from My Verizon, and to contact customer service if there was an error.  Two hours later I received a text message that stated I had gone over my data usage and would be charged an overage.  Oddly enough, my father received the same message and called to ask if he had done something wrong.  When I called customer service, I learned that not only did she not put my number on the correct plan, but all of the data I had used when working for the government was charged not only to my account, but to the "place-holder" plan with the minuscule data cap.
Since then I have been to three Verizon stores, including a corporate location with the authority to correct this matter.  I have been transferred from consumer to government support, from customer service to technical support, I have escalated calls and was told by one escalation point, Justin ID# 65183 that he was the end of the line and no one else over him could or would help me.  Apparently Verizon only has one tier of escalation?  Every supervisor or escalation point has assured me that they have emailed their superiors and I would receive a call back in 1-2 business days.  I have yet to receive such a call.  Monday, May 19, I actually thought I had gotten somewhere.  A customer support representative named James told me he would submit an Inactive Pricing Request to get my data feature back and put me on the right plan, not the "place-holder" I am currently stuck on.  He told me he would call me back at the latest by Friday, May 23 to get me set up after the request was approved.  I hadn't heard anything by Wednesday, May 21 when I received another data overage text message from Verizon.  I called and was told that the request was sitting on a supervisor's desk for his approval and then it would go through.  I heard nothing Thursday, May 22, so yesterday morning, Friday, May 23 I called and was told by yet another representative that the request was denied because it was filled out incorrectly, and that James had written detailed notes and was diligently working on the matter.  She said that he worked in another location but would email him to contact me with status.  By 3:30 with nothing yet from James, I called again and was told by yet another representative that James was still working on it and had written in his notes that he would call me by close of business that day.  She told me he was on central time, and that I should expect a call by 6 p.m. eastern.  Again, no return call.
Today when I called, the representative that pulled the case number associated with my Inactive Pricing Request told me that it had been denied and that there was nothing further.  The status was closed.  There was nothing she could see in any of the case notes of any mention by James to call me back by close of business, of any emails, of the denial because the form was incorrectly filled out.  Today, I was told that there was nothing in the case notes of all that I had been told came from the case notes all week long.  It has been 8 days and counting, and I fear many more.
I have been to so many Verizon stores that I actually took the time to write down their Mission Statement.  Among other things, it expressly states that:
"We believe that our customers are our greatest asset and we work hard every day to exceed their expectations by listening to and fulfilling their needs and treating them with respect and dignity.  We strive to create lasting relationships to ensure we have future opportunities to serve them in our stores and on our website.  When making decisions, we know that if it is the right thing to do for our customer and for the company, we can and should do it.  We are personally empowered to create positive customer experiences and company profitability every day."
I daresay that Verizon only cares about profitability.  And if I didn't live in such a rural part of the country, without access to internet apart from 4GLTE, not even through cable, Verizon DSL or FIOS, were it not for the fact that I refuse to burden my aging father with having to lose his number that he has had for so many years and update all of his contacts with his new information, were it not for the fact that I truly have NO OTHER CHOICE but Verizon for even phone signal, I would not give them another penny and they could at least lose the tiniest drop in their profitability bucket from a customer they assumed from before they existed.
Every promise Verizon has made to me they have broken.  Apparently, half of what they have told me was happening never did.  I no longer have access to my original My Verizon account, Customer Profile, cannot even use the email address I used to sign up again to post this because it is "in use" by me, who cannot even use my plans, my numbers, my devices, my property which I own and pay them for monthly without fail.  And to top it all off, they are charging me for data usage which isn't mine, it belongs to the government (who by the way, pays a month in advance).

dont hold your breath with anything being done with contacting the BBB.. i contacted them weeks ago... Nothing happened. vzw never even contacted me like the BBB said they would.. like you said.. they dont care.. they dont need too.. when you have 122,000,000 customers people like you or me consume to much of their time so they would rather us just leave..  ive been having network issues with them for 6 weeks.. no resolve... they just throw refurb phones and sim cards at me, and dont listen to my actual problems...
