Stop complaining about 'how bad' they are and just return the thing if you don't like it.?Creative makes wonderful products, they aren't 'bad' at all if the only problem is that you can't figure out how to get it to work. You can just expect to plug it in and have everything all set for you; everything needs a little work to get it running.

It may be that the battery has been discharged. The ZEN Vision M was released for Christmas last year which means that there is a small chance that the one you bought may have been on the shelve for a while. Li-ion batteries do loose their charge over time and it's possible that the battery may have discharged to a point where USB charging may not do the trick (as it has a much smaller total amount of power available than say your wall outlet). In many cases like this if the battery is plugged into a wall charger it will begin charging.
Of course most players don't include a wall charger anymore (thanks to Apple for this particular trend) so that option isn't available out of the box in many cases. However if you have access to a 5V, 500-.5 mA wall charger with a mini USB end it should serve the purpose (of course the actual wall charger Creative offers would be best for this but I am looking for the most accessible solution here). There is a chance that your battery is defecti've as well, but if you had a wall charger that would work for the ZEN then you could find out for sure.
If all else fails, call or email Creative technical support and see what they can offer.

    I will suggest to create a timer job (which will run every week) and read library for all submitted form item's created by field and compare with data set which will come from UPS DB. Once these two set is ready,
    use not in clause using LINQ to send email. 
    This is a draft outline solution which came to my mind. Hope, it will help.

This is a business requrement that we should create if possbile.  We also wonder if we may also create a query for shows us all the queries and who created them? We are doing this manually for each query. We only manually look for all the areas that I have access, but if it can be done systematically, that would save a lot of time.

  • Find all users who have delegated items to me.

    i need a rule / something, by which i can find all the active delegations assigned to me on my end user screens.
    It may be from my manager , or from any other user.
    I checked the user object and noticed that only the person who delegates has the information stored, and nothing in my user object.

    It is not possible to accomplish this by using powershell. Easier one is to get the list of people who has access on something with below and do easier data manipulation in Excel :

    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to list all users who have access to a particular SharePoint list item via PowerShell.
    You can use the following PowerShell command:
    $web = Get-SPWeb http://sp/sites/First
    $list=$web.Lists["listV2"]
    $item=$list.Items | where {$_['ID'] -eq 1}
    $item | Select -ExpandProperty RoleAssignments |Select {$_.Member.DisplayName}, {$_.Member.LoginName}, RoleDefinitionBindings
    In the above command, you need to change the web URL to your site's URL, change “listV2” to the name of your list, and change the ‘1’ to the ID of the list item.

    The script queries a WorkFlow called "Password Reset AuthN Workflow" and returns its ObjectID, then uses it to do a new query searching for "Users" with these parameters:
    AuthN WorkFlow Registered = ObjectID of "Password Reset AuthN Workflow"
    The script exports these details to a CSV.
    Also, all OTP email addresses should be stored in the "msidmOneTimePasswordEmailAddress" attribute in the FIM Portal.

    we can get the list of users for a particular transaction as below.
    get the tcode and place in AGR_TCODES and we get the list of roles .
    loop the roles and pass each role to AGR_USERS and we get list of users for that role.
    finally we got the list of users for that tcode.

    Or how would you parse some dynamic statement as this:

    ...What is the table name? How do you want to parse that?
    Better rewrite all dynamic SQL statements into non dynamic ones. Or do the source control logic for those dynamic parts in an extra module. For example implement your own dependency table and force every developer to add there all dynamic parts.

    After I ran SharePoint configuration wizard successfully to upgrade to SharePoint 2013 / SP1.
    I can open Central Administration site just fine.
    but now when I open any Site collection,  I got this error.
    Server Error in '/' Application
    This operation can be performed only on a computer that is joined to a server farm by users who have permissions in SQL Server to read from the configuration database. To connect this server to the server farm, use the SharePoint Products Configuration
    Wizard, located on the Start menu in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Products
    I have restarted all the servers:  SQL server, WFE and APP servers but still cann't get this resolve.
    Services on all servers are running,  IIS - application pools are running.
    Can someone help with where that could be a problem or if there is a solution.

    Please verify the followings:
    Make sure that from the SharePoint front end and application servers that you can ping your SQL server.
    Make sure that your Farm account has permission to the configuration database.
    Lastly verify that your database didn't for some reasons go into recovery mode.
    once everything is fine and you are still having issues, restart the SQL host service on the SQL server.
    Once the service is restarted you will need to reboot Central Admin and then your front end servers.
    In addition, as you built your farm inside the firewall, please disable the firwall, or create rules for SQL Server service in the firwall on SQL server.

    we have a Nw04s machine with Windows 2003OS installed on it and i am not able to send the message from Sm02.
    When i open the tcode sm02 and whn i click create message i can see "system message text server name,client ,language then i create and click ok it is taking me to Sbwp tcode where i have to give the addresses.
    I am able to send only by giving userid.Is there any way i can broadcast the message to all the users in the R/3.

    SM02 is a standard transaction to create messages for all users. I have tried it on a NW04s on win2003 and it works fine.
    You need to check your authorizations or get someone from Basis team to show you how its done.
