hard drive 80 gb with 15 gb free - defragged 1 wk ago
Intel Pentium 1.73 Ghz Dell Inspiron 9300
2 Gb RAM
nVidia GeForce Go 6800
17 inch display
All drivers are current.
The system is 2+ years old as is the os installation.
This is my primary system. I do all photoshop, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, email, Web browsing on this machine.
All images are RAW (NEF) and stored on 1 of 2 USB 2.0 external hard drives. One is a 500Gb Maxtor and the other is a 160Gb Western Digital Passport.
The memory cards I use are 8Gb Lexar and 8Gb SanDisk.
Your statement about catalogs is interesting. I basically do this in order to keep catalogs small. I tried LR as a demo some time back and it seemed to get clogged up as soon as the catalog got very large, so I assumed the catalogs were supposed to be kept to a minimum. This didn't bother me, since it provided each model with her own catalog in which I could segregate each shoot.
I don't know what the "dam features" are. Perhaps there is some enlightenment you could share that would further open my eyes.
If I had to guess, I'd say a couple of hundred images are about the max that I can rename. I don't know for sure, because it all happens in the heat of a shoot while the model is waiting to see the shots and I'm trying to get the studio cleaned up after a shoot. I'll try a sample dir of shots and see if I can find a common number.

  • What are the Master data that should be uploaded for Go live

Can any one tell me what are the SD master data that should be uploaded during GO live

    Hi Prem,
    SD Master data includes:
    - Customer Master data
    - Material Master data
    - Customer-Material Info records
    - Enterprise Structure info (Dist Channels,Divisions etc)
    - Condition Master Data in Pricing.
I believe, all these need to be uploaded during GO Live.

Good luck.    I have been trying to report to Apple Support about a Bogus Email I received today, which said I had made a purchase. Naturally, I was to cancel this bogus purchase by giving out personal details etc to them.
The real question is: how did they get my email as someone who had purchased from Itunes?. I cannot believe that ti si coincidence.
HAVE the Australian Apple IDs [where users have supplied their email addresses] been compromised?

  • Delivery address to be defaulted to that of vendor address in returns PO.

    Hi mates,
My client is using sap 4.7 . His requirement is that the delivery address in the delivery address tab (item details) during the returns PO should be defaulted with that of the vendor given at the header. At present it is defaulted with the plant address from which the goods are returned. Is there anyway we can do this ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sriram.

The delivery address tab gets its information from your plant record or from your storage location record (if you have maintained an address for storage location and entered the storage location in the PO). The delivery address has nothing to do with the vendor of the PO.
In case of a return PO, the delivery address is the address from where the vendor shall pick up the material.
if you organize the delivery, then you usually do this with SD delivery (having flagged the return vendor field in vendor master and a corresponding customer master). In this case you get the address in the delivery document from the customer master address. The PO (as return PO) does not really play a big role, except that you tell your vendor that there is some good coming back to him.

My husband and I have both downloaded the new IOS 8.2 and now he is getting my text messages that are only addressed to me.  He has a 5 and I have a 6. It is like we are synced together.  How can I fix that?

Is he getting your SMS messages (green) or your iMessages (blue). If SMS message, go to Settings>Messages and turn off Text Forwarding. If blue, are you sharing an Apple ID? You should each have your own.

Check your junk or spam mail folder.  Also, if you established a rescue email, it could be going to that email address.  If all else fails:

  • Time Machine 1.1 sometimes deletes backups that should keep

About two years ago I was intrigued about the disparition of several Time Machine backups. After changing to a larger external backup disk, I've been trying to follow the behavior of Time Machine. Overall, it seems to be quite predictable, corresponding to what is explained in its window: mostly keeping hourly backups during 24 hours, then, from these, only keeping the first one in each day during 30 days, and then, from these remaining backups, only keeping one per week as "space" permits. Since the new backup partition is large (240% of the HD disk), it is still far from removing oldest backup(s) in order to free space. However, in my system, Time Machine has removed more backups, which should have been kept, in at least two occassions:
Several weeks ago, one month after having the system down for several days, two or three backups (specifically 2012-07-24-002423 and 2012-07-29-120258) that should be kept as weekly ones were deleted, possibly trying to resyncronize to a new day-of-week for the new series of weekly backups to keep.
Recently, and possibly related with heavy memory load giving 7 GB of swap, TM "got crazy" during two activations, deleting up to eight backups, both daily and weekly ones, which were far from being the oldest backups in the volume.
Has someone else observed this kind of behavior? What can be done to avoid it? If, as it seems, it is a bug in Time Machine, how can I notify Apple?
Since Time Machine seems to have a limit of 5 old backup deletions per activation, and given that occasionally strange (and dangerous) behavior, I think that Time Machine should warn when backups older than one month are deleted, and ask permission when 5 or more backups are going to be deleted (at least giving the user the possibility of configuring it so). We are talking here of data security, so some precautions should be allowed when destroying large quantities of data, which otherwise may not be recoverable.
    The essential details follow:
Strings in recent system.log messages containing "deleted backup" (first & last groups are normal, there was no hourly backup to delete between them):

  • Reg.condition types should come automatically during CR and Billing creatio

    Dear Friends
I create new condition types for MRP price and other taxes which is working fine but I have to be entered each time when I create CR and Billing, I want those conditions which is mentioned in the procedure-.control data should come automatically during the the CR and Billing. Please advice me. Previously I got a reply that should create condition record for each condition in VK11,HOW it is possible ?
I didnot assign any access sequence to my conditions which is newly created, so that the above problem could be arrived?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
If there is access sequence then it is possible to bring condition in sales document automatically.
for this Just create on dummy access sequence and assign to condition type
Generate table with combination of only sales organization by V/03
Create access sequence by V/07 and assign this table
Assign this access sequence to condition type
in V/06 under change can be made tab for Manual entries  put blank (No limitations)
Maintain condition record for condition type (with price or without price)
    Then condition will come automatically

    what's the problem

Hi and thanks again for trying to help.
    Definitely works ok from pc.
Have deleted and re-established account a few times now but still the same.
I have actually given up and added gmail account which is working fine.
    Sends and receives no problem.
    Bloody bigpond....
We are not remote at all. Sitting in the fantastic Pavilion Hotel in Phnom Penh. Another couple here having trouble but not bigpond. Hotel staff have tried to help but to no avail.
Giving up and stick with gmail until we get home then start trying to get resolution.
Problem actually existed on a personal wi fi network in Melbourne before we left so I should have tried to resolve it then.
    Thanks again for suggestions.

Apple Maps - Please reconsider and include Google Maps. As a long time Apple customer, I am disappointed iOS would regress the system and inconvenience millions because of a vendetta that should never hinder users. Not only does the transit feature I used religiously no longer exist, but clicking on an address in a website now directs users to a poor Google Maps interface. I am surprised to see such a effortless update from a company squatting on the resources to make a change its customers are asking for.

Apple has documented an API to provide add-ons to the Maps app in the iOS 6 SDK, so that such add-ons are possible is absolutely not a guess that the capability is there. As to whether someone will indeed develop an add-on for any given transit system, that would be a guess, yes, but at a couple of companies at least have already announced plans to do so.
In select cities and areas - so now I'm going from being able to supply this information myself to either wait for someone to supply an app or write an app myself... This is not feature progression but feature regression. Adding transit times or a specific overlay should not have to be something you need to do through code via an API. So no dice... Your guess that we will see better transit information is just that - a guess, nothing else.
If you don't agree with that editorial, you are certainly free to do so. I provided the link as food for thought for those who have been questioning Apples' decision to drop Google's maps from iOS. Whether or not you agree with Brad's analysis or that of anyone else is up to you.
But on that central issue the editorial fails - it's is not the true tale of why Apple made their move and therefore useless even as "food for thought" (because it's guesswork).

  • Tried to Change my Apple ID email - but it tells me it's my rescue email address, despite having deleted that rescue email address. What in the world can I do?

    Hello all!
I'm in a bit of a quandary. I have three email addresses, and I'm TRYING to pare down the number of addresses that I use. Thus, I am trying to change my Appple ID to one of those email addresses. Having said that, I tried to Change my Apple ID (which is an email address - one of the ones that I need to get rid of) to one email address that I constantly use. However, the screen tells me that the new address I wish to use, is my rescue email address, despite having deleted that rescue email address. What in the world can I do? I'm about sick and tired of Apple ID's.

Ok I'm goin to call your old Apple ID #1 your new email you want to use #2 and another email #3.
    - go to http://appleid.apple.com
    - select manage your apple id
    - sign into #2
    - edit primary email and change it to #3
    - save changes and sign out
    Now
    - sign into #1
    - edit primary
    - change it to the email that was used for #2
    - save changes
    - check #2's email inbox for verification email
    - verify account
If done correctly you should be fine, also in terms of #3 that would be an email you have that you dont mind being an apple id that you wont use. Sorry for the funny way of explaining just thought it would be shorter to type out lol.
Note: Once changes have been made you must sign out of features such as iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, iTunes & App Store as they will still display the old Apple ID. Sign in with new email but same password as normal.

  • Using Firefox 21.0. Using a Hotmail account "upgraded" to Outlook. How can I delete an email address that popups in address block but it is not in my contacts

    I use Firefox 21.0
    I have a hotmail.com email account.
    It was "upgraded" to Outlook.
I've noted that some email addresses that appear when typing an email address to create a new message are not in my People list.
How do I delete email addresses that appear when typing in an address for a new email but that email address is not in my People list?

'''''I've noted that some email addresses that appear when typing an email address to create a new message are not in my People list. '''''
Might be appearing as "form history". Try clearing your '''form and search history'''.

The calendars on my iPhone are not keeping the information on the days that should be marked.  The info is there in my iCloud on my computer, just not on my phone.   Has anyone else had the same problem and what can I do about it?  Is it at bug in the iOS 7 update?

What do you mean by "on the days that should be marked"?  Are you calendar events displayed on the wrong days?
