I reinstall adobe creative suite design standart on a new Workstation with windows 8.1
Installation ok.
Not i need to installa update.

However I am now a second year architect major at Hampton University and i need the Adobe Suite to use for my representation class. INSTALLING Adobe creative suite 3 Design Premium JAVA ERROR
Hi people, I'am having a problem installing Adobe creative suite cs3 on my iMac, when the dmg is loaded as the first sys check , installer give an error saying : "Java Script Alert - Critical errors were found in the setup - Imcompatible payloads already installed. Please see the Setup log file for details."
I've recently installed Processing, and needed to install Java too. I think I've installed Java sun SE. (actually I'm a Mac noob lol)
So , I think that I've just to clean all the old java sys that I installed and reinstall a compatible version of Java, right??? But I don't know How to do that actually!

This Java script Error problem, if you installed CS3, AI, PS or ID or any application already have in system or you uninstalled it, and installing again... this Java Script Error message will come.
This guide line is for Mac OS X only not for tested on Window system.
There are 2 ways to install again CS3.
1: format your system and install CS3 or remove all adobe folder your your system and install.
2: If you already installed any CS3 application and installing any other and you are getting Java Script Error message... do this, in hard disk/library/application support/adobe/... remove caps and backup folders from there and keep in safe place and install your application... hope it will install. after installing run that application... and it will run, and if you will try to run already installed application.... it will not... because you removed that application backup and caps file from adobe folder. Keep backup and caps folder in safe place and replace backup and caps folders with earlier folder which you saved in safe place. and repeat this process.
I know this is little tricky... and complicated. Better is remove all adobe files and folders from your system and install CS3 again.

I bought a CD for Adobe CS6: Design Standard Education Edition about 2 years ago. I'm currently trying to install it onto a mac and I cannot find the "install.app" file to start the download
Did you originally purchase it for a Mac? If not, your license is only good for a Windows installation.
If you did get it for a Mac then you can download it and install with that...

Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard
Is it possible to install Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on a Mac, while you already have Adobe Creaitve Suite 6 Production Premium installed. It is a VHS/Student version and because some programms are double, but I actually only want to install InDesign CS6 and there is no user defined installation option, I´m not sure if this is possible.

If you have upgraded to Yosemite without reinstalling CS3, you may uninstall in the same way as you normally uninstall, then install again in the same way as when you first installed it. You may rn the Cleanar Tool in between, to be on the safe side with regard to strange things lingering, but it should be unnecessary if everything has worked before the Yosemite upgrade.

Having tried to re-install Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Standard to my iMac from my Time Machine Back-up I found out that it does not work. My hard drive fried and had to be replaced. I'm trying to install CS4 from my original discs but keep getting this error message - "One or more of the required components of Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard failed to install correctly". A customer service rep gave me a link to download off the Adobe site, but when I try to open the file to run it, I get this error message - "A problem occurred extracting the archive".
Can anyone help?Yep. Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI. I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column. Now it's just blank. Link to screenshot below:

Note the install date. That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it. Now I can't even do that. I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller. It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it? It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd. -

Yes, as long as the machine meets the system requirements for the software you can install and activate it. Your license allows you to have the software installed and activated on two machines.

I am retired. In my active years, I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Standard and Dreamweaver CS5 for my Windows environment. I recently spent a fortune to migrate to Apple. I now (and a bite late) realize that my licenses are not recognized by Adobe. I am desperate. I cannot afford the expense of buying or paying access to the software and, still, I need the tools for all those little things I do for enjoyment. What can be done?
The licenses are operating system specific, so one option would be to retain use of the Windows machine you had before the Mac.
If you want to try to use the older stuff on your new Mac you can try installing Windows emulation software such as Bootcamp. -
Problems using Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard

We have installed our creative suite 6 design standard on a PC with Windows 7.
From the beginning, we have had different types of problems :
1. Operating problems : our programs stop suddenly without any explanation. Example on Indesign : "Indesign a cessé de fonctionner. Un problème a fait que le programme a cessé de fonctionner correctement. Windows va fermer ce programme et vous indiquer si une solution est possible". (no solution)
2. Font problems : we don't have access anymore to certain fonts we had on our previous versions like creative suite 1. We are greatly penalized, et this prevents us from working again on old works. Example of missing font : ITC New Baskerville.
3. We have regular conflicts batween Adobe X Pro and Adobe Acrobat Reader (after updates ?). Regularly we have to remove one program or the other.
We have thought it might be installation problems, but we reinstall all the suite several times without any success.
Could you please tell us what you think, and what are your solutions,

VBYou have not provided any exact system information or other details like crash logs, so for the most part we can't tell you anything. Crashes are not random, there is always a reason. It may just not be obvious. Fonts can simply be backed up and reinstalled or you buy them if you need them. This is basic operating system stuff.

ThanksSame question, same answer: You won't know until you try. There are some known issues with Yosemite compatibility in any Adobe program, including CC products, but the specifics will depend on the details. Either way, make sure to deactivate before upgrading and then reinstall CS6 afterwards.
