Hi Gurus,
Problem:
When data is extracted from R3 to BW. In the Monitor, I see that no records have been extracted and this is the error I see in details:
(Yellow) Overall status :Missing Messages or Warnings.
(Green) Requests(Messages): Everything Ok.
(Yellow)Extraction(Messages) : Missing Messages.
(Yellow) Missing Message :request received.
(Yellow) Missing Message :Number of sent records.
(Yellow) Missing Message :Selection Completed.
(Yellow) Transfer(Idoc and Trfc): Missing message or warnings.
(Yellow) Request Idoc: Sent, not arrived; data passed to port OK.
(Yellow) Processing(Data packet) : No data.
I have checked the connections in SM59, they are working fine.
On BW side:
1. There is outbound of the Idoc.
On R3 side:
1. No Inbound or outbound of Idoc.
Need help to solve this issue. Help is appreciated.

Authorisation trace can be started in ST01 Txn.(In ECC)
In general filters, give your username in "Trace for user only" field, check the "Authorisation Check" and switch trace on. Perform the extraction, switch the trace off and then analyse(in the correct time frame).
RSRQST error in BD87 means something wrong with the source system connection. Is this after a system copy? All problems I have seen in this area, is when someone(Basis) has fiddled with it(I do not know why some Basis guys still feels source system connection requires fiddling, when the system is perfectly capable of generating it automatically). If yes, try and restore the connection from ground up.
Anyway you require Basis help to sort this out. If it is an option, I recommend deleting and recreating the source system connection without any manual maintenance (ports, idocs etc). You just need to provide server details and background user info to BW, it does all the rest automatically.

How do I remove certain data being imported from a php file

I have data being loaded from a php into an xml class.
My host (which is free for testing purposes) keeps adding data to the php file which causes errors. I need to know how I can delete this extra text before I put the data into an XML class so I do not get the error. I did a trace of the data and this is what comes up below. We will get Data target information in query level in information TAB.
If you want get dimension tables information also you need use technical business content(bwstatistics) Cubes and need to customize the required information. I think standard statisics cubes is not provide dimention tables information. Need to customize that.

But when i debug the PL/SQL the data is OK.
I dont know if this is a binary numbers or what.
I dont know how to solve this. And get the real data.

I would like to plot my data, being read from a daq board.

The data should not move off the graph, as i would like to be able to see the whole graph from start, to current. The x-axis would be 24 points, indicating each hour of the day, and the y-axis would be from 0 to 40.
what type of graph do i use and howdo i go about it. I've tried profudely, but can only get part of it right. A demo if possible will be greatly appreciated.

First, get formatting of the x axis. Put it on relative time and precision 0. Next, from the palette, set both x and y autoscaling off (two buttons with a blocking control). Then, put the last value of x as 23:59:59 and in the y axis the last value should be 40. Now if you wire data to it, it won't autoscale, and you'll see data going on.

I currently run OS X 10.10.1
Now i have been trying to work on this for a while now and what i want to do should be simple but its apparently not.
Here is an example of what i want to happen.
I will have 2 tabs: Contact | Sales
Now Contacts will have the list of names and various information about a customer, While Sales will have one drop-down box for each Cell Row that will show the names of the person in tab contacts
for what i am wanting to do i cant use the data format pop-up menu because the list is edited everyday several times a day.
Now how do i do this, Excel can do this so how can numbers do it?

Same Goods Issue and Goods Receipt date being sent to APO from R/3

Hello to all,
Good day.
I would just like to ask on why we do have same GI date and GR date being sent to APO from R/3 on particular materials for plant ABCD. Now, any further checks needed on this matter? seems to me that the Movement type is Y79 but I don't know how to check on when the goods were received by the receiver.
Also, these figures were extracted flat file that's being sent to APO for processing on their end.

We are using Java based ETL specifically written for our application. we are using sqlplus to make DB connections. am using vi editor to see the data. After the Extraction process the data processed in also in the wrong format.

Random Records are being skipped while uploading data in PSA from CSV File

Hi Experts,
I am facing issue in data uploading in PSA through CSV file, Random Records are being skipped while uploading data in PSA.
First Load
We have flat file (.txt in CSV format), which contains 380240 Records.
We are uploading the flat file data into PSA from Application Server. But it uploads Only 380235 records, 5 Records are being skipped.
Second Load
We have re-generated same file next day, which contains same No of Records (380240), but this time it uploads Only 380233 records, 7 Records are being skipped.
We found 1 skipped record (based on key columns combination, by cross verifying from source and PSA table) from First load. But same records (combination of key column) is available in second load. It means same records are not being skipped every time.
Earlier (5 months ago) , We have loaded 641190 Records from flat file in same PSA and all records (641190) were uploaded successfully.
There is no change is Source, PSA and flat file structure.

Please check in the file if at the begining if it has got any excape sign then that record may be skipped so the records may be mssing
Please check the excape sign like ; if they are present at the beginign that recor entirely will be skipped.

Data not loading from R/3 to BW

Hello
I am a new user in SAP BW, but i am quite familiar with it now. I am trying to load or extract data from the SAP r/3 system to the BW system. When i check the value of my extractor in rsa3 , i can see the records. But when i try to load into the cube in BW , it shows in my monitor " Not yet completed/warning" and "0 from 0 records" . My status is yellow in my details tab(though "REquests" message is green) I am using BW 3.x. It remains like that for a day and then the status changes to red without the data being loaded.
Can anyone help me out with this? I tried a lot of things, but still not able to find a solutions to this?

Well i know it doesnot even come to the PSA.. ! because I had tried that earlier, it still says the same.

These were the errors

Refresh of Data in Xcelsius from Web Intelligence Results

I am new to the forum but not to Business Objects/Xcelsius. I attended the SAP Sapphire Event last May and spent time in the Business Objects lab. Two Product Managers demonstrated how I would be able to refresh the data in an Xcelsius dashboard using Live Office by retreiving results from a Webi document without refreshing the Webi query.
For example, my Webi document contains 100,000 result rows. I want to be able to select a dropdown in my dashboard and have Live Office retreive only a subset of the 100,000 rows. This being done without having the Webi query being refreshed from the database. The Webi query would be refreshed nightly.
The Product Managers advised that this functionality would be available in Service Pack 3 or before. As of now I cannot find out how to make this work. Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks.

WebIntelligence Input Controls are a way to enhance and customize user experience with report filters, they are therefore based on report filters and the feature is more focused on user interface & experience rather than exposition outside web intelligence.
Anyway, AFAIK, report filters are not available from Live Office report parts, you can only filter content with prompts, which requires the document to be refresh from the database, which has a direct impact on performance and scalability for consumers.
However, if you are with WebIntelligence XI 3.1 SP2 you have the alternative to publish from WebI Rich Client, report elements (any table or chart) as web services (called BI Services).
This tool is based on Qaaws technology, and share some of its features (main being that is uses the same Xcelsius Data Manager connection), it exposes a large part of WebI interactions to external consumers (esp. Xcelsius) : report filters, drill, prompts.
Besides this tool provides a set of call input parameters to tune web service consumption for best performance and scalability, enabling to leverage WebI document management features like scehduling, publishing and refresh, so consumers can balance performance with real-time data.
More information is available from WebIntelligence Rich Client user documentation from section sharing webi content with other web applications.
I recommend you install the latest fix pack (SP2.5 and above), as some initial fixes were required to ensure full compatibility with Xcelsius.

I have understood the problem.
In your ABAP code replace all the occurrrences of wa_data with the structurename.
Use the TABLES keyword to declare the structure .That structure will be same as
reference table of the table control .

Voice Memos older than last Sync date not copying from iPhone to PC after sync, even though "Include voice memos" is checked

I am trying to copy over my voice memos from my iPhone to my PC. I have "Include voice memos" checked under the Music tab.
I had an issue with voice memos being duplicated on my iPhone after a sync (I got two versions of each memo on my phone for some reason), so after deleting the extra copies on my phone I deleted all voice memos from within iTunes and chose the option to move the files to the Recycle Bin. So the Music\iTunes\Itunes Music\Voice Memos folder is empty, and there are no voice memos showing up in iTunes.
But now when I sync, it isn't copying over the older memos that are on my iPhone to my computer. If I record a new voice memo then that memo transfers successfully, but any voice memos with a recording date older than my last sync date do not transfer.
How can I get these older voice memos (with dates older than my last sync date) transferred over from my phone onto my PC?

Does anyone know of a way that I can access the voice memos with dates older than my last sync date...?

Site Web Analytics - no usage data being generated

Hello all:
I have a SharePoint Foundation 2013 farm with 2 WFE - 1 Search Server and 1 DB server. Search Service Application has been configured and functioning properly. Usage and health Data Service Application has been created and started. Usage
data collection is enabled and the "Analytics Usage" check box is checked. Usage Data Import and Usage Data Processing timer jobs are scheduled and run successfully.
But, I still get the following error when I go to the Site Web Analytics "A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the
usage data for this site has not been processed yet."
After doing some research, some folks have suggested the following which has to do with manually enabling the receivers via powershell - which I have done but still no report and same error.

Find a same issue internaly which says that the links Site Web Analytics is no longer valid in SharePoint 2013 Foundation due to the changes in analytics service application architecture, so you may need the SharPoint enterprise edition for using
this feature.
Symptom
- Recently, we upgraded to SharePoint Foundation 2013 from WSS 3.0. In SharePoint Foundation 2013 sites, we see the option to click on Site Web Analytics reports but when we click on it, we get an error.
- Clicking on Site Web Analytics reports from Site Settings \ Site Actions produces the error: “A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the usage data for this site has not been processed yet.”
- We have ensured we have logging enabled (multiple categories)

Cause
By Design
1) The links in Site Settings from a site collection are no longer valid in SharePoint 2013 (due to change in Analytics Service application architecture changes...part of Search Service now)
2) SharePoint Foundation 2013 does not support Usage Reporting Analytics
Resolution
o Purchase a license for SharePoint Server 2013 Enterprise, and build out a farm for it (the Foundation SKU cannot be upgraded in-place to Server).
o Once built up, you could copy your databases over and attach them to the Server farm and do your cutover.
o Going forward from there, you would be able to have access to the Usage reports.
Also as you have found that msdn blog with the explenation that it is not available in SPF 2013.
