    I have also upgraded to ios6.1.3, and facing same wifi connecting problem, after upgrade my iphone3gs is not connecting to my laptop shared wifi, which was working perfect with ios6.1.2,
    and its not an hardware error, its software error, crippy apple does not test their releases which causes problem to users.
    Updates:
    Earlier wifi connection which i was using on my Iphone 3gs, was WPA2, which was shared from my laptop via "Microsoft virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter", was working perfectly till ios6.1.2, but when i have upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios6.1.3, my iphone 3gs became unable to join wifi,
    Today I have created "adhoc network"  on my laptop using "Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n"(default wifi adapter of my laptop), and kept security type "WEP", and found my wifi working fine with my iphone 3gs,
    So if someone using LAN internet on their laptop, they can share their LAN internet to use on their ios devices, via creating an 'adhoc network',

    I am getting this message while loging in my windows 8.1 Dell laptop.

    But i don't have any think installed else then chrome. I'ts a fresh window install.

  • Error : Oops.. there was a problem

    Hi,
    While trying to login in into Skype from my Windows 8 Pro desktop machine, it throws an error "Oops there was a problem, Try again."
    Can you please advise how to resolve this one.

    hello, last friday I noticed there was a sale on bejewled blitz coins so i tried to buy some on my iphone. It took about 5 minutes of a spinning wheel and finally said "oops there was a problem you have NOT been charged" so I noticed two itunes store reciepts and a dip in my credit balance of over $50. Trying to report a problem doesnt seem to work for me, the button isnt available for some reason and i cant submit a help ticket. If anyone has had experience in this matter please help me!

    First, restart the Time Capsule by disconnecting the power adapter and reconnecting it. If other devices on the network can see it, you can skip this step.
    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
    Click the lock icon in the lower left corner of the window and authenticate to unlock the settings, if necessary. Click the Advanced button, then select the TCP/IP tab in the sheet that drops down. Click Renew DHCP lease.
    Try again to back up.
    If you still can't, open the Time Machine preference pane and delete the TC from the list of backup destinations. You may have to unlock the settings by clicking the lock icon in order to do this. Then add it back.

    As it happens, a connection to the Time Capsule is established usually, anyway. On occasion it doesn't.
    I have a Volume, Data, on the capsule, which similarly, usually mounts, but occassionally doesn't, with access permissions denied.
    Any suggestions on how begin to work out how to achieve networking seamlesness?

    I got this message whenever I start Skype in windows 8.1, I do not know how to fix it, I do not know how to fill user name and password...

    Does no-one from MS/Skype feel it might be sensible to respond to this issue?!? 
    A customer of mine has now given up trying to call me because I can't log into skype. 
    Same issue as above - I can log onto skype.com but it wouldn't let me log in to windows 8 app and insisted I added my windows account and then won't let me log in, giving me the wonderful oops ... there was a problem error message. 
    Don't you just love when startups get the Enterprise-grade robustness from being part of serious companies like Microsoft...

    i am using surface pro win8.1 and was running skype metro version quite well. once i created a new skype account from the same email id linked with the existing microsoft skype account from desktop pc. skype runs fine
    there but as i tried to run skype metro later on surface it kept showing "oops... there was a problem. sorry we couldn't sign you in just now. give it another go". i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, even changed the id of the new
    skype account but nothing worked out.

    Just restore your bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup.
