Now i am not avalible to change my Bios Settings...

A. By Using the Motherboard Jumper:
In most motherboards CMOS battery is soldered, which makes it difficult to remove the battery. In this case we use another method.
Almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, etc.
When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.
Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.
B. By Using Software:

Satellite A210-14S graphic issue - 2 vertical and symetrical lines

Hello,
I have bought a Satellite A210-14S ATI HD2600 1 week ago, which from performance point of view really convinces me.
Unfortunately, during this time, it happened twice, that *suddenly* colors got grainy and with increased contrast, including 2 symetrical and vertical lines of same width (about 3cm).
Those lines also showed the background, but with a different color.
Besides, on horizontal view, some spots started to blink.
The 2 times this happened, the error seemed to have same characteristics.
In both cases, after a reboot, this symptoms dissapeared.

Now the important question: is it a hardware fault (GPU, RAM or even TFT) or might it be a driver issue? (I use the dedicated Toshiba Ati driver)
Would be important to know in a timely period, due to the option of money back I have in Germany (14 days)

first of all, thanks for replying, appreciated.
I also had/have the fear of a defective G-card, but also supected or hoped it might be a overheating of the system or similar, though i haven't seen any similar cases with those symptoms after a google research . Now I have this notebook for 3 weeks and it only remained these 2 cases where it appeared.
I will try to connect the PC to my external tft when it happens again, I had heard of this procedure, though it will only show me if the internal TFT is kind of damaged.
I think I have to contact the Toshiba service point if G-card is faulty.

Satellite M70 - I forgot my BIOS password

I have Toshiba Satellite M70 I forgot my BIOS password. What can I do???

but useless.

Unfortunately you cannot do much.
Your only solution is to visit nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and they will remove it for you.

Lost BIOS password of Elitebook 8530w

I lost / forgot my bios password and have tried every possible combination without result. Is there any method of recovering or resetting the password?
Before I lost my password I was using the fingerprint authentication, but this was removed after reinstalling windows7.
My model is the Elitebook 8530w

Have you installed the AuthenTec fingerprint driver and your Protect Tools Security software?

Lost BIOS password Hp Folio 13-2000

Hi,
I'm hoping for a code like I've seen other users with the same issue get. We've forgotten the BIOS password set on a HP Folio 13-2000 laptop and repeated attempts now give the message System Disabled 68875769.

Satellite A210-14S - Why do I get Bluescreen error often?

I own a Toshiba A210-14S for about 3 weeks, and got 6 bluescreens by now!
Two times, it happend as I transfered data from an external HDD to the Notebook's HDD.
One time after installing ICQ from my external HDD.
And three other times, it appeared without doing anything special, I was just using Word, Opera and downloaded a few files (my external HDD was not connected!).
I took a picture of the Bluescreen, why do I get this one so often, and what can I do against ist?
(Sometimes without the line: "gHidPnp.sys - Address 8A8842C0 ......."

Generally its not easy to say why the BSOD appears. Mostly the serious software or hardware problem could cause such BSOD error message.
I have investigated a little bit and searched for the gHidPnp.sys details.
It seems this is a USB Device Enhanced Function driver and can be found in
C:\ WINDOWS\ system32\ drivers\ghidpnp.sys and in the registry under this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ gHidPnp
Its interesting to know if you have installed any drivers for your external HDD.
Maybe there are some software conflicts.
However, I would recommend updating the Windows to the latest state and to refresh the USB drivers.
You could remove the USB ports from the device manager and after new reboot the OS should install it again.

I recently found an old hp mini 1000 running windows xp in my garage I want to use it for basic web browsing for my daughter but I forgot the bio password I set on it. There are no master password generators for ProBooks or EliteBooks and most Business class laptops.
You will need to contact HP.

I have a hp EliteBook and have forgotten the BIOS password. What can I do?

This is to inform you that all HP Business Notebooks such as Probooks or Elitebooks have more stringent security than consumer models infact they don't produce 'halt codes', the password cannot be derived from the Serial Number and the
code is stored in non-volatile memory so removing the RTC cell will not reset the password in this case.

How to install Windows XP in Satellite A210-14s - Need step by step info

I'm not an expert about OS-Installation. I have heard from many people how complicated to install WXP in Vista Notebook. Is there any document, how to do it step by step? What should I do first? My labtop will work 100% after I install WXP? What I have ist an installation CD of WXP with SP2.

well if you want replace your vista i recomend not to do it if you not pretty good and comfortable with os instaling because winxp installation is nothing hard the crazy hard part is setup all the hardware to work properly ...
i have A210-16f (can be purchased only in czech or slovak republic.) and i install the winxp a month ago and i still have problems FN keys still not working , touch pad is working onli halfway ( meaning it only points and move the cursor but all the other funcions of it still in dark)

How to delete a BIOS password (Satellite A30) - please help

Hello. In the company I work there was a Toshiba Satellite A30 that had a BIOS password set.
I was asked to remove the password and, inside the BIOS, I was able to clear the password (at least that is what I thought at first):
BIOS asked for the current password and I typed it, then asked for a new password and I just pressed the ENTER key, and when I was asked to retype the new password I pressed the ENTER key again.
After that, I saw that BIOS showed "PASSWORD (clear)" and I saved the changes and exit.
To my surprise, I was asked for a password again, I just pressed the ENTER key and it showed an "INCORRECT PASSWORD" message, and the same message when I type the old password!!!
I don't know if there was a Toshiba password when the computer was bought, but the manual that I downloaded from here does not mention that.
Is there a way to fix this? I can't understand what may have happened!

If the right password is not known to you there is no way to remove them. It can be removed only by Authorized service partner. Please contact them and they will do it for you. I assume that this can not be expensive.

Satellite A210 -trouble with brightness in WXP

Hello all!
My problem:
Satellite A210-1ap + WinXP SP2 + bios 2.0 WinAll - not working Fn+F5,F6...
Then I setup common module, Im receive error that my OS is not supported
How to fix this problem?

The A210-1AP belongs to the *PSAELE* series.
The Toshiba European driver page DOESNT provide the Win XP Common Modules for this notebook series.
I assume you used Common Module which is NOT designed for this notebook.
So I dont wonder that you cannot install it.
