Read message envelope icon

Hi,
I am using RoadSync on my e71. This works great. When I look into my inbox I see 2 different icons for read messages: one that is completely grey, and another one where the inside of the open envelope is coloured yellow. However, I can't figure out what's causing the difference.
Any suggestions?

You mentioned both emails and Facebook notifications.
I am aware of a current issue of not all Facebook notification the messages folder deleting correctly. That is a known issue.
But, do you also have normal emails that will NOT delete?

Why has the envelope icon suddenly dissapeared from the PDF on Adober Reader XI ?

What is your operating system? What is your Reader XI version? Does it really just say "cannot print"?

Green Envelope Icon Problem

Hi,
I have a Palm Centro with Verizon. I do not have a data plan. I have picture and video text messages blocked because they charge me for internet data. When I send or receive a text message, I have a green envelope icon at top with a blinking yellow arrow that hangs my palm for up to 2 minutes.
Verizon cant reset the envelope, but said it might be because of a text message with an attached picture in cyberworld that cant get in. Another rep thought it might be trying to sync with an email address??? I have talked to 5+ reps with no solution yet.
Verizon keeps ragging on me to get a data plan. They say I am the only person in the world with a smart phone / PDA without a data plan. I have internet access 24/7 without my phone.
Any help, advise?

No, there's no way to make it the default. You can, however, get the miniplayer if you hold down the Option key and then click the green button.
BTW, questions about the Mac version of iTunes will usually get the quickest and most applicable responses if you ask in the iTunes for Mac forum rather than here in the iTunes for Windows forum.

Email envelope/@ icon incorrectly displaying when ...

Using the nokia email app with IMAP (gmail). If I get new mail, I see on my main screen the subject and a 'closed envelope' in the middle of the screen, and in the upper right hand corner a tiny icon of an envelope with an @ symbol on it pops up.
If I then read my email somewhere else, like on the web, I would expect both icons on the phone to indicate that the mail has been read...but that's not what happens.
After reading mail, the subject with closed envelope changes to an 'open' envelope - perfect!
But, the envelope/@ icon in the upper right hand corner is still there. When you go into your mailbox, and exit again (don't need to open any mail), the icon disappears, realizing that there is no unread mail.
Is there a fix for this, or could Nokia please fix it?

This is known issue with Nokia Messaging that updates to Email done outside Mobile client dont get synced unless you sync manually. Same case with Notification icons.

RAINBOW Message indicator ICON....

Does anyone know what the MESSAGE indicator ICON that is in 4 colors (red, blue, green, yellow or orange) on the TOUR 9630 stand for? I cannot figure out what APP it applies to. It is located on my home screen next to the usual message indicator ICON for messages and emails? I apparently have 2 messages for some APP. It also has the little red and white star in the upper right hand corner of the little envelope ICON.

It sounds like the eBay notification icon. Did you recently install the eBay application for the BlackBerry smartphone, if so check the eBay application for new notifications.

Help with flashing message envelope in the home sc...

Hi all
I was hoping if someone could help with the flashing message envelope in the home screen (next the the key lock, blue tooth, car kit symbols., which will no go away...Just keeps flashing
I have checked that I have no message in any of my inboxes, out boxes..ect
I have set-up email, sms etc. and cleares all boxes
I have tried a reinstall to factory original setup
Any ideas

What do you mean by "repeats every few hours"? Does the flashing message icon pop up all of a sudden, without receiving any messages? Sometimes it happens that messages that are received as many parts will be read by you before all of them have been correctly received. So, as and when a new chunk arrives, you will see this icon even though you had 'read' the message.
If you try the method described in the above post, you will not have any messages in your SIM, and I assume you have no unread messages in your phone either.
I would suggest you to change the Memory in use to Memory card (Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Other -> Memory in use) temporarily, see if you have any unread messages there, clear everything, and then revert it back to Phone Memory.
If it doesn't work, try a factory reset (*#7780#). This will reset your messaging settings also.

Display number of unread and read messages in mailboxes?

Hiya,
Can I get Mail to list the total messages in a mailbox in the column on the left? I have a smart-mailbox for "flagged" items and I'd like to be able to see how many things are in it, while I'm sorting things in my inbox.
There's an unanswered post here, "Display number of messages in mailboxes?" that's been archived. Is there an answer to this?
I suppose I could install Dockstar or Docktopus and try to customise Mail's dock icon. But I don't don't know if they can do "non-read" messages, and I keep the dock hidden normally. Can Mail do it easily for me, with your help?

The Dockstar folks were nice, but said they can't do this yet. Anybody else?

Message Envelope not found. Probably empty soap message. Error while testing web service

I'm new to web service.
I have created an RFC and a web service to create a pdf. When I try to test the web service, I'm getting an error : "Message Envelope not found. Probably empty soap message." I have tried all the links available in google, but i'm unable to resolve the issue.
Can anyone help me to solve this.

Which version/platform are you using?
The thing you need to consider here is that the JDev proxy settings do not affect the BPEL server.
So if the BPEL server cannot connect to your webservice, it will not be because of any Jdev setting.
Check the proxy settings on your BPEL server (on 10.1.2 developer install it will be in obsetenv.bat, on 10.1.3 it will be a commandline property of the JVM - see AS Control administration page for the JVM)

Notification "Show an envelope icon in the taskbar" for anadditional Mailbox

I am working with Outlook2010 and have an additional E-Mail Account in Outlook. Is there a setting to configure the "Show an envelope Icon in the taskbar" for the additional Mail account? I only receve the envelope icon if i receive a new E-Mail
on my Primary Mailbox?

I tested in my lab, I could see envelope Icon in the taskbar when the primary mailbox receive new message, but there isn't envelope Icon in the taskbar if the additional mailbox receive new mails. It seems that it is by design.

Your Sim message memory is full. Open messaging>options>view folders>options>Sim messages. Delete messages from there.

Can't find email envelope icon

we have some users that currently still use Adobe Reader 8.1 but for some reason the email envelope icon has disappered. I've looked under all tools and it's not listed as an option. I've checked the online help but there is nothing listed for this version of any sort. I'm able to have this feature/option under 9.1 but would like to have the same feature for the other users running 8.1 as well.
Can this be a plug in that is missing or is this a feature that need to be turned on within the application?

Blue Envelope Icon (Top Right of Screen)

I've had this blue envelope icon on the top right of my screen with the red star in middle (indicating a new unread item). I have marked all my emails in the inbox as read and have (accidentally) deleted all my calendar items from both Outlook and on the Blackberry itself.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this icon?

The message envelope error

Hi ,
I have this problem the moment I opened brand new E72, that the message envelope blinks and keep on blinking... and I just cant find way to stop. there is no message that I havent read or no voice mail.

It could be due to a few other possibilities as well and they are as follows:
Flashing envelope could be caused by
1. You may just have an unread SMS from your last phone that is still saved on your SIM card. To check, goto Messaging>Options>SIM messages.
2. SIM card's message memory is full. Delete messages from the SIM card. Goto Messaging>Options>SIM messages
3. Phones messaging memory is full. Try deleting messages, also checking in, Sent and drafts.
3. Even though all your messages may be marked as read, just going down through the list and opening them all again one by one have also been known to resolve this issue. This could take some time but is worth a try if you do not want to delete any messages.
