Reader X: Printing button disabled in secured file even though printing is enabled in security optio

Hi,
I have a document created in Adobe Acrobat 7.0, secured by a third party component, everything except printing is disabled in the security restrictions, but Reader X still disables the print button and the entry in the file menu.
The document works fine in the newest versions of Reader 7, 8, and 9 (all tests were don using an english Windows 7 pro 64 bit).
Is this a known bug? I haven't been able to find any mention of this problem.

So are you saying that you have a plugin installed in Adobe Reader X, which is used to open the PDF file - or that the plugin is solely present in Adobe Acrobat and the PDF file thus created is opening in a standard installation of Adobe Reader?
If the former, then as the Acrobat X Family SDK is not yet released to the public and there are significant changes in the plugin sandbox of Reader X (thanks to Protected Mode), I'm not surprised that it's having problems. Things that used to work in Reader 9 aren't in any way guaranteed to work in Reader X.

If this is similar to problems I sometimes have printing -- 1) Only happens on some, not all, websites 2) Printer preview window comes up OK, just shows a blank page -- I can suggest a work around, if not a solution: try turning your page into a PDF. Either install an extension which gives a "Save as...PDF" menu option, or a PDF printer driver (I use bullzip). The problem seems to be with the manner the websites use frames and/or javascript. This work around also handles websites that can't get along with your printer settings and chop off edges.

Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

ITunes 10.5 can't find any of my original files, even though they show in my library

I was hoping you could help me with iTunes 10.5. This update has been a pain. When I first installed it, my entire library was gone. Luckily, I saved the "iTunes Library" file before updating and copied it in place and my library appeared. But now the problem I'm having is that the iTunes can't find any of the "original" files, even though my iTunes Media file location has not changed (it's on an external network drive". When I click on the "Do you want to find the original file" I can find it in the appropriate folder. I checked the "Preferences" and under "Advanced" I re-mapped it to the appropriate location and already had the 2 boxes for iTunes organizing files checked. Then went to "File" and "Organize Library" and clicked the first check box and then got the "Copying Files" bar. When this was completed, I thought it would be able to find the original files. But I'm still getting the same error message about not being able to find the "original" files. Do you have any suggestions?

App won't unzip file even though touch shows enough space

An easy one, I hope. My Reading Ally audiobook app won't unzip a 383mb file even though my touch shows more than 2 gb of space available. The app presents a message saying not enough space available. Any help appreciated.

I can't find any app called "Reading Ally". Do you perhaps mean Learning Ally? If so, are you using the lateset version of the app? Have you tried restarting your iPod (a full restart, from the "swipe to turn off"). Note that according to the company, the app does not work with Learning Ally WMAdownloadable (AudioAccess) books. They also say that if you have downloaded books prior to February 28, 2011 you will need to re-downloadthese titles.
If that's not the app you're referring to, please confirm the actual title of the app.

My collegue who also has an Ipad can access the same wifi with ease, so it must be something to do with the settings on my machine, although checking the two machines, there appears to be no difference in the settings.

My experience with hotel wifi is that it's an open, and unsecured, connection, but unless you agree to their terms on a launch page, you can't go any further or connect. Sometimes I need to force safari to come up and even make it go to a page, to trigger the auto load of the 'agree to our terms' page.
Unless your machine is work provided so maybe could be blocked from unsecured net access?

Acrobat XI wants to print as if "fit " is checked even though actual size is selected

Acrobat XI wants to print as if "fit " is checked even though actual size is selected. Just upgraded to Mavericks from 10.5.8 and when I print to a Wasatch software rip on my pc, the size will change if I use a larger sheet size then the document is. Or if I print with trim marks, the file will shrink to fit the marks onto the selected sheet size. Was not an issue with Acrobat X and 10.5.8. I noticed discussions from a year ago with the same problem printing to a different rip. Any ideas?

Make sure the “print to file” option is deselected in the “Advanced” options of the print dialog.

Order Prints button disabled Yosemite, iPhoto 9.6

I tried to order prints today and found out that I can't the order button is disabled. How can I re-enable the button?
Notice the image behind on top, is selected, but the Order Prints is disabled.

Do you still have the original library that you used iPLM to rebuild. I as because I didn't see anywhere that you used iPhoto itself to repair the database. If you still have it try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

MDSD Print button disabled

Hi Folks,
I want to know whether To-Printer option remains enabled in standard MDSD application when we follow path
OTHER3-REPORTS-2material/inventory reports-----2check-out..1..For all materials i do not get To-Printer button enabled.
Even if i install printer driver also i do not get the same.
Is there any specific setting to be maintained.

I have a requirement to have 'PRINT' button on PDF form generated from webdynpro application.[POWL],whereas my 'SAVE' button enabled.
Please suggest me where I need to check for this settings?
I have checked in POWL_UI_COMP, not found any related stuff.

I cannot find a print button on the toolbar and therefore cannot print sometimes from the web

When I use internet explorer there is a "print" button on the tool bar, but there is not on Mozilla and cannot find anywhere to add it to the toolbar.

To show the print button in the tool bar, do this.
go to View option, then toolbars, and then customise, and a popup window will appear, in that window look for a print button, (i think that is the last of the first row) click on it, and drag it to the toolbar

I can't open PDF files as the screen message says I have to reopen the computer and sign the Adobe Reader agreement but even though Adobe has downloaded I don't get any screen message indicating where I would do this.
