Reading SNMP OID for used storage on px12-400r

Hi, does anyone know how get the correct value for used disk space via snmp on the px12-400r nas?
All capacity is configured as one big cifs share. I want to monitor the usage of space with snmp.
If I do a snmpwalk (v3) I can pinout the filesystem /mnt/pools/A/A0 on OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3.38.
If I read the oid for StorageUsed I get a strange negative value: -1084997477
This value changes while data are written to the cifs share so it seems to be monitoring. But what to do with this negative value?
Thanks for any help!
/Anders

Hello anders-px12-400
I recommend checking with rtrevino from his thread.   The unit's are different, but the firmware is bascially the same across all Lifeline devices

  • Snmp oids for the command "show counters interface intx/y delta"

    Hello,
I have a question about SNMP OIDs for the command "show counters interface intx/y delta" on Catalyst6500. The customer wants to create graphs for the following values:Overruns, qos0Outlost, InErrors, OutErrors, InDiscards, OutDiscards etc..
Is possible to get these values using SNMP??
    Thank you

Thank you, Dan. These OIDs are for the output from the command "show interface int x/y". But I think, that these OIDs are not for the command "show interface int x/y delta".

  • SG-500 - SNMP OID for CPU Load?

    Hello,
i have several SG500 (Standalone and stacked). How can i get the CPU Load via SNMP? Who knows the correct SNMP OID for CPU Load?
In the MIB which are provided as download a wasn't able to find the correct OID.

    Hello,
There are three OIDs available for CPU usage:
    CPU utilization for 5 seconds
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.7.0
    CPU utilization for 1 minutes
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.8.0
    CPU utilization for 5 minutes
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.101.1.9.0
This came from a scrap note I had in an e-mail, so I am not exactly sure where this information is originally.

  • SNMP OID for AssociatedAPs in Virtual WLC 7.4.100.0

    Hello Guys!
I need you help for something that I need to do to monitor my Wi-FI network.
I'm using a Virtual WLC (SW Ver 7.4.100.0) where most that 30 APs are associated with, but I would like to monitor each disaciossiation of APs using SNMP. After some search, I have found this OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.14179.2.1.1.1.38 on some forums but it doesn't work, I see random number in my monitoring tool.
Do you know if there is any another OID to use with this software version or maybe if I have to upgrade to ver7.6 or ver8?
    Thanks in advance,
    Kevin

I'm assuming you don't own a license for Cisco Prime Infrastructure
One thing you can do is send SNMP traps to your monitoring software from the WLC (I've never used virtual WLC but my assumption is most options are the same. If your software doesn't support SNMP Traps consider a different monitoring software...
Go to Management > SNMP > Trap Receivers and set up your receiver
Then to to Management > SNMP > Trap ControlsHere is where you set what traps are sent via SNMP. If you see the "AP" tab you can set several things.
If you only want to see if an AP is dropping off the network and the above doesn't work, you could just put dhcp reservations on your APs and have your software ping it. This of course is only if its off network, not if it simply disassociates.

  • SNMP OID for DHCP on Server 2012

We recently installed Server 2012 standard on one of our servers and were trying to keep a graph of DHCP lease use. Anyway the OIDs for DHCP in Server 2008 R2 started with "1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.3.2.1.1". If I try to snmpwalk these same OIDs on the new Server
2012 (We the DHCP server configured and active), I get:
    Error in packet.
Reason: (genError) A general failure occured
    Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.311.1.3.2.1.1
I'm using SNMPwalk and I've never had a problem with this before. Any idea what would cause this? Thanks!
    Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. OIDs just don't work against a 2012 DHCP server. I can snmpwalk other OIDs, just not DHCP :(
Firewall has been disabled (and there were already adequate snmp rules allowing the traffic). Since I can query other OIDs, I'm ruling out firewall.
Has this info been removed in 2012?

  • What snmp OID to use to monitor control-plane of router

    Hi there!
I've applied policy-maps on control-plane, based on cisco recomandation.
Now i need to know, what snmp OID i've to use to monitor them (i'm using zabbix)
    Let me know.
    Regards!

If you are using IOS which uses a policy-map to configure Control Plane Policing then you are asking in the wrong place as this forum is for IOS-XR not IOS but you can poll objects in the CISCO-CLASS-BASED-QOS-MIB::cbQosPoliceStatsTable (for example cbQosCMDropByte64, cbQosPoliceExceededByte64, cbQosPoliceConformedByte64).
If you mean you have changed the LPTS policers to help protect the control-plane in IOS-XR then I believe there is currently no support for polling the counters via SNMP. See the section on monitoring in Xander's document https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/93456/asr9000xr-local-packet-transport-services-lpts-copp

  • SNMP OIDs for ASR1k

    Hi everyone,
We're trying to read CPU & MEM values from ASR1006 equipment. Obviously the old OIDs are not supported on this platform. This is what we have found by going through the snmp object navigator. (I assume .2 is the ESP, .3 is the RP, .4 & .5 are the SIPs). But the values we get from the command line are slightly different than what we get through snmp. Has anyone done this before? What OIDs do you use?

  • Upgrade OID for use with OCS?

    Hi all,
we run Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.0.0, and we received a request to have the OID of our system used by applications build with Oracle Collaboration Suite 10.1.2.3.
    1. In general: Is it possible to run OCS 10.1.2.3 apps against the OID of an AS 10.1.2.0.0 installation?
    2. Is there any upgrade path from the OID which comes with AS 10.1.2.0.0 to the OID included in OCS 10.1.2.3 and AS 10.1.2.0.2?
    3. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to upgrade the complete AS 10.1.2.0.0 to 10.1.2.0.2. If so, what would be the preferred way to upgrade at least the OID to 10.1.2.1.0?
Thanx in advance for your comments on this issue.
    - Thomas

To answer Q3) the upgrade path from 10.1.2 is to use 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) Patch Set 1 (10.1.2.1.0) ). From the patch set notes
This patch set is not a complete software distribution. You must install this patch set over one of the following existing installations:
    * Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.0)
    * Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.0.1) Standard Edition One
Functional wise 10.1.2.1 is the same as 10.1.2.0.2

  • SNMP OIDs for Cisco AP

    Good day!
I am just testing the SNMP trap received from controller to see the diffference between the status change on AP.
I find that it is strange to receive a SNMP trap with an OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.513.0.10 as table below when I turned off the radio interface. It is because this notification is generated when AP's Interface operational status goes up.  But actually, I have turned it down. Is it normal to receive a "UP" log?
Also, when I turned on the radio interface again, it sent out 3 SNMP traps in once, the pattern is “Up”, “Down”, then “Up”. Is there any explanation on this?
Received trap right after turn off Radio Interface
Received traps right after turn on Radio Interface

    Lots of thanks for advices!

The following page is great for finding OIDs. Just plug in the one you know and you can traverse the tree up and down until you find the one you need. Otherwise, if you post the one you already know I can try to start there and find what you need.
