Receipt Reservation

Hi All,
What is receipt reservation column in mmbe????.
Please revert back soon.
Regards,
Vivek.

Dear Murugesan,
Thanks for ur prompt response.Below is the scenario w.r.t receipt reservation.
We have maintained one of the materials as by-product(By assigning -ve qty in bom).
After creating process order(COR1) the byproduct qty goes in receipt reservation which is reflected in the stock overview(mmbe).
We've done goods receipt of by-product separately by mb1c transaction with mvt.type 531.The stock gets reflected in unrestricted use, however the same qty in receipt reservation does not reduce.
Pl.revert back w.r.t the above query at the earliest.
Regards,
Vivek.

  • Partial Receipt - Reservation Table Updation

    Hello gurus
I want to know if there's any updation in RESB table for a partial receipt/issue.
Say ,  a Production Order with a quantity of 2.
The GI is posted for a quantity of 1 & 1 is  balance in the Order.
I want to know if there's any updation in the RESB table for the above partial receipt.
Or is there any other means I can get this updation ?

    Hi Krishan,
There will be update in the RESB table if there any change in the reservations against the order either it is GI or GR.

  • Reservations for goods receipts

    Hi,
In the SAP help documentation I can see a note for creating manual reservations for goods receipts. How can you create a manual reservation for a goods receipt ? My understanding is that a manual reservation is done for a later goods issue. So if I do create a manual reservation for a goods receipt, then would the reservation dissapear once the GR is done ?
    Thanks

    Dear,
The receipt reservations are nothing but confirmed reservations. You can check in MMBE it check the reservation date, then goods movement date for storage location.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Stock in Reservation

    Dear Experts,
Dear All, request you to suggest how to find the reserved stock.
As we are devloping one report the stock in hand by using
Stock in Hand= Unrestricted Stock- (Reserved Stock + Receipt Reservation)
Please guide us to find Reserved Stock and Reciept Reservation.
    Regards,
    mm

    Dear sp SAP,
Check in Tables MARD for various Stock of a material and in Table RESB related to reservations.
    Check Table S195 for Rcpt.Reservation
At T Code Level you can find it in MMBE.

  • MRP isn't including Reciept Reservation(debit) after the last requirement

    Hi,
I have a situation in MRP.
We have defined negative component (A)quantity in production order. The reciept reservations ( movement type -531, debit indicator set, movement allowed set on release) is created for this component. But in some production orders same component is defined with credit indicator which creates issue reservation (261).
Hence in MD04  component A has both receipt reservation and issue reservation.
    Problem :
When run MRP(MD02), net requirement calculation includes all reciept reservations before the last reuirement. But It doesn't include any receipt reservation which is after the last requirement.

Yes!  Calculation is right in MD04 as shown in above message.  The requirement is MRP should include every existing receipt reservation wether it's  availability date is in past or future. All past reservations are included in MRP calculation but not the future one OR any receipt reservation which exist after the last one requirement.
    9/24/2008     Stock     0     0
    9/22/2008     OrdRes     1     1
    9/22/2008     OrdRes     3-     2-
    9/24/2008     OrdRes     2     0
    12/3/2008     PurRqs     2     2
    In this example;
    Issue reservation -  9/22/2008      3-
    recept reservation -   9/22/2008       1
    recept reservation -   9/24/2008      2
    Available Stock     -                       0
MRP skipped Reservation (9/24/2008 OrdRes 2) because its availability date is after the 9/22/2008 and created purchase requisiton for 2.
Requirement is "system should include all reservations in net requirement calculation" either its before requirement or after requirement.

  • Reservation (MB21)

    Hi all,
I have reserved a material via MB21 (Movt Type: 301).
But i still can do a transfer posting even i have only left 10 box of material M1 and i have already reserved it .
In MMBE, i can see the stock is under stock type: reserved and receipt reservation.
Is there any configuration to block user to take those stock already been reserved?
    How reservation work?
    Thanks,
    Kiran D

You can use a seperate storage location for collection and the authorization for this storage location can be checked for the users in basis.
So the material available in this storage location can be handled by the authoriosed users in the specified movement type in customizing.

  • Fixed receipts in MD04

    Hi Friends,
As we know we can view stock requirement list using T code MD04. If we double click on stock, another screen triggers where  there is field called  "fixed receipts"
To calculate fixed receipts  the following fixed receipts are taken into account in the total calculation:
    Purchase orders
    Schedule lines
    Consignment orders
    Consignment schedule lines
    Production orders
    Receipt reservations
Our developer is asking how we can fetch this information pragmatically?. Please guide somebody.
    Thanks

    Hi,
have you tried changing the settings in OVZ9?
    Good luck.

  • Mov type.

    Hi,
While I am using T code-MB1C with mov type-561,system showing error
that Parameters for plant PLT1 not maintained in Inventory Management.
So please give me the solution for this.
    Thanks,
    RAsh.

    Hi,
    In IMG under
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
Visit [Inventory Management and Physical Inventory|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/ru/2f/72369adc56d11195100060b03c6b76/frameset.htm]
In this section, you complete the system settings required for the following:
    print control and user maintenance
    goods movements including:
    goods issues and postings
    goods receipts
    reservations
    physical inventory
    reporting/evaluations
transfer of data from external DP systems
    Visit [Plant parameters|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_40b/helpdata/es/2f/72369adc56d11195100060b03c6b76/frameset.htm]
In this step, you make the general plant settings for Inventory Management. All settings are also contained in the individual steps of the Implementation Guide for Inventory Management.
    Recommendation
SAP recommends that you do not make the plant settings here, but in the individual steps of the Implementation Guide, so that the settings here are not without a context. Dependent settings are not contained in this step.
    Activities
If you have created a plant in the enterprise structure using the Copy plant function, you do not need to make any settings.
If you have created a plant manually, you have to create a new entry for the plant parameters.

  • Customizing of the days' supply in MD04/MD06

I don't see any difference with the first receipt days' supply and 2nd receipt.  We need for the 1st days supply more binding information, like the PO or process order,
for the second we need assigned purchase requistions or firm planned orders. Could you please check.
*Please set the indicator for consumption based planning not on safety stock or reorder point.
Can some one give me steps how to implement the above requirement . I have gone thru the configuartion but need further help .
    Regards,
    SHD

    Shahid,
You need to get your users to clarify their requirements.
I don't see any difference with the first receipt days' supply and 2nd receipt. We need for the 1st days supply more binding information, like the PO or process order,
This requirement is not explicit enough.  Tell the users you need an explicit list of the items they wish to include in the calculation for first days supply.  They can select from the list found in configuration (these are the only options available):
    Production/Process orders
POs, shpg notifications, sched. lines, dely scheds
    QM inspection lots
    Firmed purchase requisitions
    Firmed planned orders
    Assigned planned orders
    Receipt reservations
    Shipping notifications
for the second we need assigned purchase requisitions or firm planned orders
This is explicit enough, but not possible.  Assignment of a purchase req is not adequate to delineate.  Unfirmed (but assigned) PuReqs will not be considered.
Please set the indicator for consumption based planning not on safety stock or reorder point.
Receipt days supply is configured at the plant level.  It will be same whether you are using consumption based planning, or demand based planning.  It is possible to have the system calculate days supply "until stock falls to Safety stock level" or "until stock falls to zero"
Once you have your lists of items that are to be included in 'first day' and "second day', go to OMIL.  For items to be considered only in 'first day', enter a 1.  For items to be considered only in 'second day', enter a 2.  For items to be considered in both, enter an 'X'.
If you wish for the system to ignore safety stock (calculate days supply until stock falls to zero), enter 1 in the safety stock field.

  • Create PO directly bypass PR

    Hi,
In 3rd party order, the sales order will trigger an output in the PR.
The PR is then converted with a PO.
My user wanted the PO to be created directly when a sales order item is created.
Since it is created as a PR, is there a way to bypass it or express it so that a PO is immediately generated?
Also, the PO should be a STO from the DC if there is not sufficient stock.
    Thanks

    Hi There
I beleive it needs couple of minor enhancements,,
PO can not be created directly,, ( S lines are diff case).. so to achieve the PR to PO automatically,,
    1.Maintain the Info Record,,
Auto PO enabled in material , Vendor
Plant assign with Std P Organ
       Procurement Type-F
And after the PR created out of 3rd party order- Based on the creation indicator/Batch user, pick up this PRs and maintain it Z table every 3 to 5 mins, Me59n Program can ref this table if any it can directly create the PO,,
    2.  iam not clear about the second requirement , you can make it clear,, i will try to help you out,,
(Based on my assumption on your 2nd requirement)
Seems it can be achieved through availability check ( ref the stock/future receipts, reservations) and ref the PR qty if that is huge go for the PO,,  this logic can be put for the second option,, actually in the program it will run first and decides that PO or STO,,
    Hope it helps,,,
    Thanks

  • Return of unused spares against maintenance order

    Hi All,
I have issued 6 qty of a spare material agianst a maintenance order / resrvation no.Now I have used only 4 qty & rest 2 qty I need to return to store agianst the same maintenance order or reservation no . I am trying to return it through MIGO t-code , but I can not change qty field in MIGO screen when I am selecting "goods receipt" & "reservation no" combination .Also I have tried through t-code MB11, mov. type - 262 where I have entered my maintenance order no , but system is not picking the material no in this screen automatically.
Can any one please suggest how can I return my unused material issued agianst maintenance order? My requirement is to enter the referecne no either as maintenance order no or reservation no & system should pick the material no & qty field should be in edit mode.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Create reservation for same material in same maintenance order with negative quantity (quantity to be returned to stores).
Now use the newly generated reservation for GI. This leads to movement 262 against maintenance order in question for material return to stores.

  • Rejection components in shopfloor

Some times it happens that we are clearing  a GRN & giving the material in Shop WIP. But during the production ,some material gets rejected because of supplier's fault. In this case we have to return this material back to supplier through return invoice.
For this purpose we wants separate storage location in which initially we want to transfer the material from shop location to rejection location & while making  return invoice, we will pick up the material from this rejection location.
How can we do this in the system?
    Thanks,
    Nagesh

    Hi,
In the Production process if some material found defective, if you want send the material to Vendor then in Production order components overview, maintain the Components which is defective as negative (byproduct) with qty, Plant & storage location ( Maintain a separate str loc if you want to track & send the defective material to Vendor)
then do the confirmation for the final material. during this system will create the receipt reservation for that production order for that defective material with Mvt type 531 -- Receipt by product from production order.
then in MB26 with respect to the Reciept reservation post the Reseration.
System will update the stock in the Particular str loc, from there you can create the returns PO, do the Goods reciept with Mvt type 161, stock goes off from the system, send the material along with Credit memo.

  • Variant configuration + Quality Inspection lot

    dear all,
Can we create different inspection lot charateristics depending upon the Variant material charateristics selected in sales order
Please give some light on the same
    Regards,
    Arun prasad C R

Quality inspection lot is not creating for a By-product,
    Dear ,
Activate inspection type 05 -  Inspection of other GR in Material master of By product, when ever the By product  GR is taken place,  the goods movement is posted to Quality inspection stock
stock goes to the Receipt reservation rather quality inspection.
since the By product is maintained as a component  , reservation will created automatically for the material in production order.

  • Create Goods Receipt PO from  AP Reserve Invoice (bug?)

Via the user interface of sap2005 pl7 you can create "Goods Receipt PO" from an "AP Reserve Invoice".
In the "base type" field of goods receipt the value "18" is displayed. This seems not to be a "valid value" and it is as a consequence not possible to read the contents of this field with the UI-API, because <i>base type</i> is a combo box and only valid values can be returned.
Is there a workaround to get a none valid value from a combobox?

    Hi Jurgen,
It looks like it is a bug and that the same bug exists on the sales side of the DI API. Herewith a post that you can read about it.

    Hope it helps,
