Receiving an error when checking out Visio 2013 file from a Sharepoint 2010 site.

Receiving the following error when attempting to checkout a Visio 2013 file from a SharePoint 2010 site: "Sorry, we couldn't open 'http://sharepoint/folder/folder/folder/folder/file name".  If you need to know the length of any of the folder

  • Error when checking out file : http access -if http client-receive-1

    Hi Everyone,
    I get an error when I am trying to upload a file to Content Server or when I try and check it out.
    The issue has been resolved by manually starting the service on an OS level.
    What I would like to know is this:
    In transaction SICF, there is a Content Server Interface service, which you can activate/deactivate. Would this have the same effect as manually starting the service on an OS level?
    Please advise.
    Thanks.
    Freddie.

    Hi,
    When you are starting service in OS, you are actually starting the maxdb instance service .
    You can set it in auto mode so that you will not get this error.  The OS service only establishes the connection to SAP.
    As a part of CS install, from CSADMIN part it is just required to send the certificate successfully to OAC0.
    Normally no activity is required to be done to under SICF from CS install point of view.

  • Error when roll-out Lync 2013 (Japanese)

    Hi all,
    i have currently encountered a strange issue.
    Our company has deployed lync server 2013 and i need to upgrade our client from OCS 2007 R2 to Lync 2013.
    We use SCCM 2007 to perform this task.
    i have already created packages for Lync 2013 Chinese and English without any issue.
    But when i do the same for Japanese version (x86). The package will report success but the installation actually failed.
    when i checked the log, i got this error:
     Error: MsiBeginTransaction failed. MsiBeginTransaction ErrorCode: 1601(0x641).
    So i tried to install the same package on the same computer LOCALLY, and it worked.
    i only get this error when push it from SCCM.
    i also tried to redownload the installer from Volume License Center, and created a seperate SCCM package, but still got the same error.
    Have anyone else experienced this? Is there anywhere else i can download another version of JPN Lync2013?
    Or how do i simply resolve this?

    Verify that you deploy Japanese package on SCCM Language.
    Also, you need to ask this question on SCCM Forum

  • ADF error when checking out accounts cart

    Hello,
    I have a weird UI related problem in OIM 11gR2. When I try to check out from the user accounts request cart, I get this error message that prevents me from proceeding :
    ADFC-06002: unhandled exception
    ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #10
    In the logs, I see those errors :
    ADFC-02001: The ADF Controller cannot find '/oracle/iam/ui/runtime/form/view/tfs/testform.xml'.
    MDS-00013: no metadata found for metadata object "/oracle/iam/ui/runtime/form/view/tfs/testform.xml"
    So there seems to be something wrong with the MDS, but I don't see what I could have done wrong that might have broken it.
    Any ideas?

  • Receiving "internal error" when trying to burn mp3 disc from playlist

    I'm trying to burn an mp3 disc from a playlist that I've created. Unfortunately, I keep getting an error. I'm currently running iTunes 11.0.2 on my iMac which is currently running 10.8.3.  I've done this many times before, and this is the first that I've had this problem. Here's the error I keep getting:
    The attempt to burn a disc failed. An internal error occured.
    If you want to retry the current failed burn, click on Retry. If you want to go to the next disc burn, click on Next. Otherwise click on Cancel.
    Here's how it goes down:
    I've created a very long playlist which will require the use of multiple discs.
    I right-click on the playlist and select to burn the playlist to disc.
    I then get the usual burn settings pop-up menu where I select the "MP3 CD" format with a preferred speed of "Maximum Possible"
    Note: Since experiencing this error, I have tried varried speeds ranging from 8x to 24x; I still get the error.
    Note Also: I have tried selecting "Audio CD" instead, and the playlist will burn and the error does not appear. This is not an option I want to go with, however, because of the length of the playlist — it would take, like, 25 discs...
    For a moment iTunes will read the disc, then ask permission for the playlist to be split across multiple discs. I say "ok".
    At this point, iTunes will say that it is initiallizing for about a split second then immediately say it's finalizing and spit out the disc. This is when the error pops up.If I select to "Retry", it doesn't retry to burn; it just saves a .txt file to my desktop that is  a copy of the error message. There's no error code/number or anything, though - just the exact same message. "Cancel" and "Next" seem to behave correctly, though.
    I have tried repairing disk permissions and restarting my computer. I've also tried using different brands of CDs: Memorex CD-R and Innovera CD-R. The error persists.
    Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

    Any ideas on why I can't publish form and how I might fix this?

    Hi Laura,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you published your InfoPath form.
    I aggreed with Sangha said, please check the "Design Checker" to check if there are any errors in the form.
    If yes, I suggest you remove the related fields and check if the form can be published successfully.

  • Since the 10.9 update -8058 error when copying a folder or file from a windows network server to any other location, why? and how to fix?

    I am experiencing a persistant error -8058 when attempting to copy a file or folder from any windows sharepoints to any other server location or to my desktop or locals. Am I the only one or are the others with the same issue since updating to 10.9?
    I have tried the finder plist removal suggestion- unsuccessful

    I am fairly certain that would not work for me as that is my usaul manner of mounting shares, smb:// or cif://. The enterprise servers do not automount so I commandK. Yesterday when I was troubleshooting 10.9 issues I had to have tech support unlock my account a dozen or more times. So I'm gonna give it a rest until I see an 10.9 update. In my case I don't think Mavericks is ready for enterprise/business use. I am 1 mac vs 350+ PCs.

  • I am getting I am getting nativehr 0x80070057 /nativehr nativestack /nativestack error when I change my publishing page layout in SharePoint 2010.

    Hello All,
    I am getting the following error when I tried to change the page layout of a publishing page in my site collection using SharePoint 2010.
      Here I am just trying to change the page layout to "Four Item Grid" page layout. But i am not sure why this error is coming up.
    I tried to search in the internet but no one has this kind of issue it seems.
     Can anybody help me in resolving this issue.

    I had this same problem when trying to change the layout on a publishing page.
    What I found by running some powershell script against the pages library is that the ows_PublishingPageLayout field actually referenced a layout url from another site. What had happend is that an author downloaded a copy of a page from one site and
    uploaded it to another site. Evidently when you do this the url reference to the page layout file does not get corrected (it's fully qualified)
    To fix this problem I wrote some powershell script to update the ows_PublishingPageLayout url so the site host url was corrected and did not have the old/original site's url.
        $SiteUrl = "http://your.site.url.here"
        $SPSite = New-Object Microsoft.SharePoint.SPSite($SiteUrl);
        $OpenWeb = $SpSite.OpenWeb();
        $publishingWeb = [Microsoft.SharePoint.Publishing.PublishingWeb]::GetPublishingWeb($OpenWeb)
        $AllPubLayouts = $publishingWeb.GetAvailablePageLayouts()
        $pages = $OpenWeb.Lists["Pages"]
       #view all page layouts
       foreach ($page in $pages.Items)
            if (!$page["ows_PublishingPageLayout"].ToString().Contains($SiteUrl))
                write-host $page.url
                write-host $page["ows_PublishingPageLayout"]

  • View Substituion causing error when checking out an AppModule

    Hi all,
    I have 2 applications which are both using seperate data models that are nested inside a root application module.
    The first application (the Main App) uses view substitution to get around problems caused by turning on the discriminator attribute in the EO.
    The main appliction starts up fine and has deep linking setup to navigate into the second app using a GoLink. The first time that deep linking is done an error shown below is thrown, it works fine after this. If I turn off the substitution I dont get this error.
    Has anyone come across this error before when using substitution?
    Sorry for the bad formatting of the error
