Receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010

I am receiving multiple duplicate emails using Outlook 2010. The email receiving, can go up to few hundreds copies. Not
all emails i receive will be duplicated. There is no common sender for those affected emails. Usually when i received email from my Outlook 2010 the email in Outlook Web Access will be gone. But this time round for those affected duplicating emails, it still
can be found in the Outlook Wed Access. Any solution for this problem? Currently
I would need to go into the Outlook Web Access to delete the affected email then the duplication will be stop. Or I would need to cancel the Send/Receive & restart Outlook. But this 2 method is only temporary solution. The problem will keep coming
back.

I think you are working with a POP3 account and issue of replicated emails in Outlook is common in the case of POP3 connection. So, first of all uncheck the
“Leave a copy of messages on the server” option and see the results.
Also, see the TasK Manager, if there are multiple “Outlook.exe” are running under the
“Processes” tab, then end the unnecessary programs as each of them downloading the same email multiple times.
Apart from it, if there are numbers of factors behind the replication of emails in Microsoft Outlook such as:
Rules (Exploiated Rules)
Scanning Programs Integration
Damaged Outlook Profile

For the mailbox where you are receiving duplicates ...
Select the mailbox on the left of the Mail window.
From the Mail menu bar top of your screen click Mailbox > Rebuild
See if that helps the duplication issue.

Delayed received emails Using Outlook 2010 and Exchange Server 2010 SP3

Hi,
Some of our users are encountering delayed emails. When our clients sent email to us, some of our clients received this an hour late, sometimes they will received this the next day.
Our users uses Outlook 2010 and our Exchange Server is 2010. We have already patch this to SP3 as it says that the delayed emails was already fixed in this SP3 but we still encounter the delayed emails.

Hi Collins,
In order to narrow down this issue, please use OWA to send and receive a test email, see whether the delay will still happen or not.
From your description, the issue happens when certain users receive emails from internal. I recommend you use message tracking log to determine which step delays.

Receiving email using outlook

I am having trouble in receiving emails using outlook. I only some on my ipad but receive them on my PC!
Can anyone help?

We worked with Microsoft on this issue and updating our DirSync set-up solved the issue.
We are running a hybrid setup with Exchange 2010 locally talking to O365. We had set this up as a fairly standard Sync but did not enable hybrid when we set it up as it didn't seem warranted based upon our needs.
Our set up had been running fine for over a year and suddenly this issue cropped up. The MS engineers determined that Outlook would talk with our exchange and since we didn't have the Hybrid Sync happening, for some reason it wasn't passing on the Cloud
Exchange address when the mailbox wasn't found on the local Exchange 2010 server.
Nothing was explained as to why only accounts with Resource Account ownership were experiencing this issue, but updating our DirSync server and setting it to Hybrid did solve the issue. Curiosity is less important than my time so I'm moving on...

Multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments will not print

Here is our issue
1. Select multiple emails in outlook 2010 with pdf attachments (versie 10.0.1)
2. Go to file -> Print
3. Select Print Options. Check the box for Print Attached Files
4. click Print The emails will print but only the first attachment will print.
After that we recieve the following error
There was an error opening this document. The selected file cannot be found.
We have tried turning off enhanced security mode but still get the same result

You can also extract these pdf attachments via email attachment extractor from here and then send the pdf file for printing. I think this will be easier for you to print them all.

Workaround to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio?

We use Acrobat Pro 9.4.6.
Our office will not update to Acrobat X until CS6 becomes available for purchase.
We run Office 2010 Pro 32-bit on Windows 7 64-bit.
We need to archive email in a way that can be sorted in a PDF Portfolio by date or attachments to email.
I wrote VBA code to save email from an entire folder or several selected folders as .HTML files with the same folder structure on disk as was in Outlook. This works for sorting by date of email, but it does not allow for the attachments to stay attached to the email.
I thought about downgrading Acrobat to 9.0, but I am unsure if this is possible.
Has anyone found a way to archive email in Outlook 2010 as PDF portfolio which would allow sorting by which email have attachments?

To resolve error 0x8004010F , identify the current location of your default Outlook data file, and then create a new Outlook profile.
Step 1- Locate the default Outlook data file
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, click Mail.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Show Profiles.
Select your current Outlook profile, and then click Properties.
In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click Data Files.
Select the Data Files tab in the Account Settings dialog box, and then note the name and location of the default data file for your profile (a check mark will denote the default data file).
Click Close.
Step 2 - Create a new Outlook profile

If you are talking about your sender name (the one that appears on the From line when you compose an email) rather than your @icloud.com email address, to change it on your iOS device, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap iCloud under Accounts, tap your iCloud account at the top of the next screen, tap Mail at the bottom of the next screen, then enter the name you want to use in the Name field at the top. Easy solution for restoring lost calendar informaiton, thank goodness. On your iPhone, go to settings, then to iCloud. If your Calendar selection is turned off, turn it on. Your info should restore. If your Calendar selection is turned on, then turn it off. Choose to save calendars when asked. After it shuts the Calendar off, turn it back on. Your info should be restored.
Thank you to Apple support for walking me through this. Shame on you Apple for not just telling people about this easy fix rather than making us go through all of this pain and worry.

ICloud account using Outlook 2010

I'm using Outlook 2010 client, I can see my iCloud inbox, calendar, etc. however, I'm unableto reply to messages or send new messages using Outlook. I do not see an Outbox listed for my iCloud account. I get a message that I cannot add a file to this folder when trying to reply or a message this service doesn't support this actionn when trying to compose and send a new email. I'm running Windows 8.

I have I cloud 2.0.2.187 loaded just downloaded yesterday.

I have created a new iCloud email (@me.com) and I want to know how I can use it NOT only on my iPhone and iPad but also on my outlook 2010 and on my Gmail account.
I use Outlook 2010 in my office and home, I use Gmail when I am on the go. My Gmail is also configured in my Outlook so basically I have all my accounts on Gmail and I just use Outlook's interface.
I want my iCloud to be on it as well. Obviously I want it to be and IMAP type of configuration so I can see all the emails on my iPhone, iPad, Outlook 2010 and Gmail!!!!
Can you please tell me where I can find relevant information on those configuration?

My program will send email through Outlook 2010(in cache mode). Sometime it may prompt the address book out and pend here, and we need to manually click "OK" to let the program run again. Although we re-write the program in
Java and send by JavaMail now, but we are interested why the address book will prompt out.
There are no pattern that we can guess the reason. Different recipient, different subject/content/have attachment or not can casue the address book prompt. But same email with same content/everythings may not cause prompt before and/or after.
We try to change to offline address book and need manual sync, problem still occur.

Firstly, there is no such thing as a "trusted program" to Outlook. It only trusts COM addins, all other applications will cause a security prompt unless you have an up-to-date anti-virus app installed (if you can control the client environment).

Sync email between Outlook 2010 (PC) and Outlook 2011 (Mac)

I have a PC running Windows 7 64 bit and Office 2010 (which includes Outlook 2010).
I currently use Outlook 2010 on the PC for my email.
I also have a Mac running Lion 10.7.3 and Office 2011 (which includes Outlook 2011).
Before iCloud there did not seem to be a way I could share my Outlook email (2010 and 2011 versions) between the PC and iMac.
I now wonder if I can do this via iCloud and would appreciate any guidance/limitations associated with setting this up etc.

You can connect your iCloud email ([email protected]) to Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2011. Is that what you are after?
Or are you wanting to do this with another email provider?

I am using Outlook 2010 and have a iphone 4s. In Outlook I have issues with my contacts not being the same as what I have corrected them to be. Is there a way to check and see which file Outlook is sharing with I-cloud?

I am using Outlook 2010 and I also use a Iphone 4s. I use Outlook to correct all my contacts and them it sync with my phone BUT I get different variations of the contacts. Almost as if there is another file it is going to. Can I check to see which file it is reading from??
