Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service

HI,
Problem Summary:
Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service in integrated weblogic server.
my scenario is like,
retrieve the Payload from Dehydration tables.
We are connected to SOA_INFRA schema and we are retrieving the payload from the dehyadration tables based on InstanceId and ECID using Java Classes.After that i make it as a web service and i deployed in to intergrated weblogic Server.It is generating the Target End Point URI.When am i hitting this it is showing structure of the service.I am testing this service from soapUi it is returning the Server internal error with 500.Here i am passing inputs as InstanceId and ECID.
I had verified in my Jdeveloper,Proxy settings are available.
Error Payload:
I am receiving the Internal 500 error because of JDeveloper HTTP Analyzer encountered an error retrieving: CONNECT https://192.168.0.41:9102 HTTP/1.0.

I got error while testing asynchronous web service in WS navigator. I have created asynchronouse web service using RFC. Then I configured it in SOAMANAGER. When I tested it, got error "RABAX occurs on server side". Also I got dump in ST22. It is 'UNCHAUGHT_EXCEPTION - CX_SOAP_SEQ_SCD_ERROR'.
I have tested for synchronous web service it works fine. I found a difference in both web service WSDL file for below parameters value -
commit
blocking
transaction
wsrm
I tried different way .. but no solution .. Plz suggest if someone have any idea.....Its very helpfull....

your problem:
Missing class: oracle.tip.adapter.jms.JmsManagedConnectionFactory
Dependent class: oracle.tip.adapter.fw.wsdl.WSDLUtils
Loader: oracle.bpel.common:10.1.3
Code-Source: /oraclesoa/oraclesoa/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/bpel/lib/orabpel.jar
Configuration: <code-source> in /oraclesoa/oraclesoa/product/10.1.3.1/OracleAS_1/j2ee/home/config/server.xml
It happens when server is custom installed, try to reinstall it as full version and problem should disappear otherwise your need another full installation to retrieve and replace orabpel.jar file from (or maybe more)

• Internal 500 error while accessing TFS web site

Hi all,
I have installed & configured Team Foundation Server 2013 & SharePoint Foundation 2013 in my environment. I am facing an issue
whenever I try to open the TFS site like "https://nc1vwstfs.ranchi.com/tfs". I am getting "HTTP 500 Internal Server error". the same site can be accessed from another system without any error. In order to look for details error message
I turned off the IE settings "Show friendly error message" from internet options, advanced option. After that I got the below error which stated the actual reason.
The same site is accessible from another system without any error. But I am getting the error from the same system in which I have installed the TFS server itself. Its a little bit strange to me. I am clueless.
Could you please help me in resolving this issue. Any pointer to this would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for reply.
I am using separate servers for Application Tier & Data Tier. I am able to access the tfs web site from visual studio too.
The issue in my case was with the service account password which was not updated in one of the application tier nodes. In my environment I have two application tier nodes tfs1 & tfs2 and both are configured as NLB (network load balanced) they both are
using the same Data Tier. The purpose of creating NLB is to distribute the load between app tiers. I had updated the service account password of tfs in one node but did not update the password in another node, causing the tfs web site to fail to launch
sometime. When I updated the service account credentials in both the app tiers then the above issue got resolved. Now the tfs web site is opening without this error.
Thanks.

• Frustating errors while creating java web-service

Hey All
Me getting a frustating problem while making the webservice using Eclipse, jdk1.6.0_03,and Tomcat-5.0.
The overall scenario is like this.There is a class “WsEpp” of which I have to make webservice.”WsEpp” class is using the object of another class “EppService”, and if certain conditions will be fullfill then “EppService” class will use the object of another class “PrintClass”,which is allready using the object of class “PrintLib”.
“PrintLib” class is a long file and its using many classes which are in supported jar files.
Here is the some part of “PrintLib” where I am facing the problem,
Scenario-1
public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
Here I am using the constructor of the “PrintLib” and “epp_Command” is included into jar files.When “WsEpp” is running as web service then
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
occurs as the response of webservice.
Scenario-2
//public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
// this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
When I am commenting the lines as shown in scenarion-2,then the service is running well and printing CONSTRUCTOR 1 and CONSTRUCTOR 2 as given in println command.
And response of webservice gives the desired result.
Scenario-3
public epp_Command command_data = null;
public PrintLib()
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
this.command_data = new epp_Command();
System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
By using scenarion-3 the service is running and printing only CONSTRUCTOR 1 as given in println command.And also
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
<faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
occurs as the response of webservice.
I am suffering with this problem from last 2 weeks.Kindally help me and provide me the some suggestions and tips.In case of any more requirement I can provid ethe whole codes.

Hi,
Can anybody tell me please, is it possible to create
a Web Service from java class where the input from
user is required ?Yes, the parameters of your method will be mapped in WSDL.
But i've some considerations about your code.
I suggest you change the name of isPrime do Prime, its a good code convention to put the name of class starting with Upper case. and isn't good the name of class equals to name of method.
I suggest you to change the "static boolean isPrime (int n)" to "public boolean isPrime(int n)" to publish a method as a WebService method it's must be public and not static. After this change try to generate your Web Service.
Regards.

• Error while deploying a web service whose return type is java.util.Date

Hi
I have written a simple web service which takes in a date input (java.util.Date) and returns the same date back to the client.
public interface Ping extends Remote
* A simple method that pings the server to test the webservice.
* It sends a datetime to the server which returns the datetime.
* @param pingDateRequest A datetime sent to the server
* @returns The original datetime
public Date ping(Date pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException;
The generation of the Web service related files goes smoothly in JDeveloper 10g. The problem arises when I try to deploy this web service on the Oracle 10g (10.0.3) OC4J standalone. it gives me the following error on the OC4J console :
E:\Oracle\oc4j1003\j2ee\home\application-deployments\Sachin-TradingEngineWS-WS\

I read somewhere that the conversion between java to xml datatype and vice versa fails for java.util.Date, so it is better to use java.util.Calendar. When I change the code to return a java.util.Calendar then the JDeveloper prompts me the following failure:
Method Ping: the following parameter types do not have an XML Schema mapping and/or serializer specified : java.util.Calendar.
This forces me to return a String data.
I would appreciate if someone can help me out.
Thanks
Sachin Mathias
Datamatics Ltd.

Hi
I got the web service working with some work around. But I am not sure it this approach would be right and good.
I started altogether afresh. I did the following step :
1. Created an Interface (Ping.java) for use in web Service as follows :
public interface Ping extends Remote{
public java.util.Date ping(java.util.Date pingDateRequest)
throws RemoteException;
2. Implemented the above interface in PingImpl.java as follows :
public class PingImpl implements Ping
public java.util.Date ping(java.util.Date pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException {
System.out.println("PingImpl: ping() return datetime = " + pingDateRequest.toString());
return pingDateRequest;
3. Compiled the above 2 java files.
4. Generated a Stateless Java Web Service with the help of JDeveloper. This time the generation was sucessful.(If I had "java.util.Calendar" in place of "java.util.Date" in the java code of the above mentioned files the web service generation would prompt me for error)
5. After the generation of Web Service, I made modification to the Ping interface and its implementing class. In both the files I replaced "java.util.Date" with "java.util.Calendar". The modified java will look as follows :
Ping.Java
=========
public interface Ping extends Remote{
public java.util.Calendar ping(java.util.Calendar pingDateRequest)
throws RemoteException;
PingImpl.Java
================
public class PingImpl implements Ping
public java.util.Calendar ping(java.util.Calendar pingDateRequest) throws RemoteException {
System.out.println("PingImpl: ping() return datetime = " + pingDateRequest.toString());
return pingDateRequest;
6. Now I recompile both the java files.
7. Withour regenerating the Web Service I deploy the Web Service on OC4j 10.0.3 from JDeveloper. This time the deployment was sucessful.(The Deployment fails if I don't follow the step 5.)
8. Now I generated a Stub from JDeveloper and accessed the stub from a client. It works fine. Here if you see the Stub code it takes java.util.Date as a parameter and returns a java.util.Date. (Mind you I am accepting a java.util.Calendar and returning the same in my Web Service interface. Step 5)
The confusing thing is the Serialization and Deserialization of Data from Client java data to Soap message and Soap message to Server java data.
From Client to SOAP :
java.util.Date to datetime
From SOAP to Server :
datetime to java.util.Calendar
From Server to SOAP :
java.util.Calendar to datetime
From SOAP to Client :
datetime to java.util.Date (I am not able to understand this part of the conversion)
Any help or inputs would be appreciated.
Thanks
Sachin Mathias

• Error when calling Java Web Services from ABAP.

Hello experts:
In my project, I will call Java Web Services with ABAP coding. With WSDL, I generated a proxy class and created a HTTP connection (t-code: SM59) and a logical port (t-code:lpconfig) for this proxy class. But when running, I would receive the folllowing errors:
SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTP COMMUNICATION FAILURE")
If I used HTTPS, there is no problem.
Regards
Bob

Hi Bob,
It might be the possibility that your java web server is configured to listen only on HTTPS.
If your HTTPS is working fine, then first check with your JAVA server for HTTP connectivity, then try it calling through ABAP.

I guess that would depend on the error you're receiving - what is it? I've never seen a generation error for a service provider when following the few steps required, but you could debug the activation if the message isn't clear. Service consumer errors happen all the time and are generally related to WSDL file compatibility.
