Recently my ipad started doing an odd thing. When I go to Google the keyboard pops up, but then pops down again, when I touch the google bar the second time it comes up and stays up. Why would it do that, anything to do about it?

Did you try rebooting the iPad? It can cure a lot of really simple little hinky issues.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Plug your device into the original charger & block in a wall outlet and leave it alone for a couple of hours. Then, while it is still plugged in, restart it by holding down the home button and the power button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple, then let go.

You just updated and disabled my HP printer and Kaspersky security - why would you do that??
There is no more to say. Your site automatically updated and came back with a message that said it disabled my HP webprinter and Kaspersky security because they were not compatible. You should not be able to touch those things on my computer so what happened? I need you to undo whatever you just did.
Thanks! I do have the HP disc for the scanner/copier. If and when my cousin comes down he said he may have to re-install it.
Though I still wonder what happened and if now it was because of those last updates for my XP from Microsoft. It worked fine over a week ago. And it still partially scans through the HP solution site or the control panel works well too. And still copies and prints. Which almost doesn't make sense as to why just the scanner is effected. Thanks for taking time to read this. My iPad is doing some odd things and I think it's been sicne iOS 4.2 update. The problems I'm having are:
1) I installed The Sun newspaper app a few months back and it's been workng fine but recently it's having problems loading saying it cannot contact the server and to try later. My ISP says nothing is blocked their side. The Sun say everything is fine their side. I've updated my router but still no good. Now and again and with no pattern it will all of a sudden work. Interestingly thought, it works fine with my 3 MiFi dongle. The News Of The World App does the same thign, yet The Times and Financial Times apps work fine.
2) When surfing on Safari it will now and again say there was a problem displaying the page. I refresh a few times and it will load. When it's saying it can't display the page I have jumped on my Windows 7 laptop and accessed the page fine.
I have done a restore from back up and also a restore and setup as a new device. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the problem apps but to no avail.
Anyone got any suggestions?

1. Try resetting network settings. Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
2. For Safari. Tap Settings / Safari. Clear the history, cookies, and cache.
Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
See if you notice an improvement. If not, try syncing but omit the Sun app.
And try contacting the Sun app developer support.

The unlocked IPhone 4S models will not be available until November, Why is that? Why would Apple do that? I should be able to buy a factory unlocked Apple iPhone 4S when it comes out! I travel all over the world, and so that is why I need one like that. It is unfair to the consumer, and frankly turning away customers like myself willing to pay high dollar to Apple for their product, who can I speak with to complain about this, because I know their are factory unlocked iPhone 4S' sitting in a warehouse somewhere just waiting to be shipped, and I want one. I know why, cause Apple signed contracts with each carrier so the carrier could increase their sales making customers sign 2 year contracts, I get it, I own my own business, but the delay of releasing factory unlocked ones is just not right and I should be able to buy one without having to buy it over in the UK where it is unlocked when it comes out right away, I should be able to buy it in my own country! These business practices we practice in the US need to stop, their is a demand that needs to be met with consumers like myself who don't need subsidized iPhone's with 2 year contracts with carriers and don't mine paying full price for an unlocked one, it is unethical in a sense, forcing the customer to buy it with a carrier contract and NOT giving the customer the option to buy it full price and own it themselves, OR, making the consumer wait a month for that option to be available. THEY SHOULD BE RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!!

But making me wait a month for an unlocked one, puts AT&T, Sprint & Verizon's interests before mine, and that is not right, for it is MY money that keeps you guys in business, so my best interests should come first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I understand your frustration, but when any form of rationing is required you have to prioritise. The number of unlocked vs packaged phones will be quite small and the number of unlocked buyers wishing to upgrade immediately will be smaller still. Having problems with ipad mini and Siri. Works sporadically, will work once and then the second time not. Worked all the time with the original Mailbox app. Then started doing the same thing when I installed the new update so wondering if it is software?

When reading my downloaded paper the Safari page sometimes comes up and I have to press the Home button and start all over again but same thing happens. I even made sure the paper download was the first thing I did on my Ipad and that no other apps were open.
Have you tried a Reset (No Data will be Lost)
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

Just recently my iPad started to get lazy on me I'll go on a website and it has trouble moving through the different applications within it. It has nothing to do with the wifi because it's doing it no matter what wifi it is using at the time?

I had redeemed 2 $50.00 iTunes gift cards a few months ago. The last time that I checked my iTunes balance, it was $100.00. I logged in to iTunes yesterday and the $100.00 balance isn't showing up. Why would it be missing? Would that happen if I changed my apple ID and password recently? Or would that happen if I de-authorized 2 devices? Would that happen if I deleted my music from my iPhone? Could someone hack into my iTunes account and take my money? Or maybe Apple charged me for something and debited my iTunes account? If you could please help me solve this mystery, I would greatly appreciate it
Check your account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store - Apple Support
If nothing shows then try logging out and back into your account on the computer/device that you are using.
Neither updating your account id and/or password, nor deauthorising your account, nor deleting content from a device or computer's iTunes library will affect your balance -
Hi all, just downloaded a security update on my new iphone 4S. The phone may be more secure but all the Aps icons have been downgraded in art quality why would this be. I presume the Mods are Apple sentinels but am I really a Troll just because I made a criticism of the new iOS version (even though I did not know I was actually doing that). Am I a Troll to you because you personally disapprove of criticism of the new iOS or is Troll used by the community to describe anyone who speaks up if they are not happy about a change. Please understand that by asking these questions it is not my intention to be confrontational (I’ve been called far worse than a Troll over the years) but as I’m new to the group an insight into the politics may be beneficial. My iphone 4 randmonly started going into recoveery mode when i was trying to download ios 7.1, and now the apple logo will come one and then fade to black and continue this process. My iphone wont restore either and will get the 3194 error message.Help please!
