I don't think they downloaded from ICloud properly. Now I can't even download any new ones either. Please advise.
If you are trying to restore from iCloud Backup
1. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings

IIRC, you can only download a maximum file size of 100MB with cellular.

Some apps do indeed come off the market. The vendor stops selling or supporting them for whatever reason.
That is likely what happened.
See if the app is still in the App Store. If so, you can download it. If not, it is gone. -
I've lost my iPad. I tried using my friend's computer to locate it but maybe the one who took it turned it off. What can I do?
If you had "Find My iPad" enabled in Settings > iCloud then you may be able to locate it. If not, you cannot locate it. If it was enabled then you can try locating it via http://icloud.com on a computer or the App "Find My iPhone" on another iDevice. Note: this will only work if your device is connected to a network and the device hasn't already been restored as new and/or "Find My iPad" has not been disabled on it. Note: Disabling "Find My iPad" is much more difficult in iOS 7.
If you think that your device was stolen rather than lost then you should report it to the police. In either case you should contact your carrier, change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

You must put each device on the Verizon cloud.
Not both lines on one.
Go and set up a my Verizon account for the second line and you will have Verizon cloud service on that line.
Oh the term "icloud" is a trademark of Apple Inc. Verizon is not Apple.

I got an iPad 2 and tried to back it up from my iPad mini last back up and it says the backup was either corrupt or not compatible for the ipad2. Will I be able to restore from back up (of the mini) to the iPad air?
That depends on the iOS Versions on the iPads. Backups must be of the same or lower iOS version as the one installed on the device to work.
What iOS version is on the iPad 2 and the mini. If the Mini had a newer version than the 2 then that's why it did not work.
Since the Air will have the newest available, it should work just fine. -
I have a 24 inch 2.93GHz Intel Core 2 duo,purchased April 2009. I tried to import my photos from my iPad mini and found out that my iPhoto program was not working correctly.
Is there a way that I can get an updated version of iPhoto.

What version of the OS do you have?
v8.1.2 is the latest version of iPhoto 09. Upgrading beyond that requires a purchase. -
I purchased a new imac (4G, OS X 10.6.8) in Feb 2011 and thought my old iPhoto library transferred over. It wasn't. And I can't get iPhoto to open on my old mac. It says, "can't open your current version of iPhoto using this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto". I don't think my old mac will support the newer version of iPhoto so I feel like I'm stuck (this is why I got a new mac -- cheaper than upgrading all my software, etc). Help! I really need to get to my old photos, and no, they are not backed up anywhere. Thanks.
You have two options:
Run the Library on a machine that has the same version as the machine that was stolen.
or
Recover the files from this library and start over from scratch.
To recover the files:
Go to your Pictures Folder (or whereever you have the back up) and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Your originals are in the Masters folder.
Note this will only recover your photos as imported from you camera.

I deviated from the instructions by manually deleting all my contacts while in Mobile Me before trying the forced update because it hadn't worked in the past to force transfer the addresses. I thought starting with a clean slate might be a step ahead. Now that clean slate seems permanent.
The gutsy move was to make Mobile Me download the empty address book into my MacPro. My address book went empty until I restored it through the archive I'd saved. It proved the computer and Mobile Me are communicating since it wiped out my address book on my desktop. I restored everything by importing the archive back into the address book. Thankfully that part is fine.
What is not working is for me to get ANY addresses to move back to Mobile Me despite repeated attempts at changing the reset action through the advanced selection of Mobile Me in System Preferences. I've unselected syncing and restarted the computer. I've signed out of MM and signed back in. I've closed the browser and opened it fresh again. I've closed and opened Address Book on the computer. None of those actions make a whit of difference. Mobile Me contacts remains empty when I tell it to replace MM with the contents of my AB on my MacPro.
I see under the gear there is an ability to import vCards. Is there any way to do a batch import? I have almost 700 addresses separated into more than a dozen groups. It will be a mighty tedious process to import them one by one.
No, iCloud is not an option. My computer is one version too old to upgrade to Lion. -
Please help, I updated some apps, I pressed update all, now I can not open or use those apps, they just say waiting. I have deleted some and tried to download again with no success, also tried to download different app with no success.
1. Check iTunes and see if you have a pending/stalled download e.g. Podcast, Books, Music, Movies or iTune U. Finish off the download and you should be able to update.
2. Check for Updates (bottom right) in iTune. When download is completed, sync to iPad.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

I just got an iPad3. It synced with my PC where I have my iPhone synced. Trouble is that it synced years of pictures from my PC photo album. Now there isn't room for apps, updating apps, or other. How do I remove the pictures from my iPad? I want to update to software 6.0
Synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to/remain on the iPad. Don't hold your finger down for an excess amount of time. Just quickly tap and release on the app icon.
