Recording in CLOB through XSU?

Big enough application for work with database Oracle is written with use Oracle XSU library for JAVA. And here there was a problem with preservation of the big textual documents in this base. Thus VARCHAR2 will not suffice. It is desirable, that the given problem also was solved with help XSU.
Somebody possible decision may will prompt?

Unfortunately I do not have a Dynacord..
I was simply making sure the standard way of doing things, wasn't working...
I cannot think of any reason it won't record all four tracks at the same time if all four R buttons were highlighted in red... Usually with other interfaces, it is that simple.
All I can think of, given you are using Logic correctly, is your Dynacord drivers are not working correctly.
What is odd is that you can hear all four channels through Logic yes?
Logic's meters are showing movement on all four tracks yes?
You just cannot record all four at the same time?
When you arm just one track, does it work normally? For example, Can you record track 2 instead of track 1?
Finally, did you install the latest drivers for the Dynacord as discussed in this thread?

  • Can't record into Logic through the built-in mike

Hi guys, just faced a strange thing in Logic 8, want to record my voice through my MacbookPro's internal mike, so in Audio preferences I've put an in-built input, in System preferences put input and output to in-built speakers and mike, but I can't move the track level meter in Logic with my voice at all, and there's no waveform, no sound is going inside, i got just an empty audio region, while in the System's preferences window the level meter moves when I'm saying sth...What can it be?Anyone faced the same?
    Thank you

you need to select the build in microphone as the input in Logic Audio preferences as well.
it's the 1st on the drop down menu in Input Device Logic's Audio prefs.
And mute the output of the build in speakers or wear headphones

  • Why do I have to change source input to mono when it's recorded in stereo through my interface from an acoustic pick up in order to hear anything in playback?

Why do I have to change source input to mono when it's recorded in stereo through my interface from an acoustic pick up in order to hear anything in playback?
It's a dean markley acoustic pick up with a mono 1/4" jack. It's plugged into a focusrite interface. GarageBand only records it in stereo and only plays it back in mono.

you appear to already know the answer, however...
GB is not recording it in stereo, nor could it

Interesting cable you have there but, unless it's also and analog to digital converter, it may not work.

  • How to append records in MSAccess through Java using JDBC:ODBC

    Hello,
I was able to retrieve records from MSAccess database through JAVA over the JDBC-ODBC bridge.
If I want to append records to a table (for eg. photo1 table containing photono., length, breadth, area as
columns) I could not able to do so through JAVA.
I am using JTable with the above fields. The user is displayed with the JTable and he has to enter
data inside the JTable and press a button titled "Append". Then the JAVA program should append
whatever the user has entered in the JTable as a single record inside the MSAccess database.
    Can anyone help me please?

First I tried with out the servlet. I took a simple class. But it was displaying the null pointer exception.
then you still have the problem. do you understand the root cause?
After then I made a servlet. how was that going to help your null pointer exception?
Now it is displaying error hibernate.cfg.xml not found.that's part of the problem. where is the servlet reading that file and initializing the session factory? how is it finding that file?
i don't know where you have that .cfg.xml file, or where the recommended place is where hibernate expects to see it, but i'd bet it needs to be in the CLASSPATH, which means WEB-INF/classes.
figure out why you get that NPE first, though. the servlet is only making things worse.

  • Why can't I get stereo sound recording to iMovie through audio line in?

I am recording some keyboard music from a digital keyboard (Yamaha pf85) into iMovie HD 6 on my laptop through the audio line in. I have connected Output I from the keyboard to the audio line in using a mini jack adapter. This is supposed to record the music in Mono, but it will only play back on the left side of the spectrum. There is no right side sound at all. The keyboard has twin outputs, so I have also tried connecting Outputs I and II to the laptop's line in, using a twin mini jack adapter, but the music still only plays back on the left side. What's happened to the right side?
I have transferred the movie to my desktop Mac (PowerPC G4 with OS 10.4.11) but I get the same problem.
I've tried exporting the movie to QuickTime, but still the same problem.
What am I doing wrong? How can I record/playback the sound on both sides of the spectrum?

Thanks for these suggestions, which are blinding but have not solved it.
    1) All cables OK and fully inserted.
    2) I tried recording a voice over into iMovie using a USB mic/headset and that was in mono but played back through both channels, so laptop and iMovie are OK recording with USB.
    3) I tried recording from the keyboard into iMovie and QuickTime on the laptop in three different ways through line in: first using both Outputs, then using Output I only and finally using Output II only. On all three occasions, the sound played back on the laptop through the left channel only. The keyboard itself has two inbuilt speakers and a headphone socket and both are providing mono sound through left and right channels, which suggests it's not faulty.
I then tried recording sound only from the keyboard into Quicktime on my desktop Mac, using the same cables and adapter. Left channel only.
I guess this means either the adapter is faulty or it's something to do with the way my keyboard outputs sound. I'll try your other suggestion. Or maybe I just need a hardware interface to route the separate channels. That seems excessive for what I want to achieve.

    Hi Tamizh,
Please have a look at this article:

  • How do I record separate tracks through my Mixer in logic?

    Hello All,
I am trying to record two seperate instruments at the same time into logic through my Xenyx Q502 USB Mixer so they are recorded on two sperate tracks (one track for microphone, the other for guitar) but am struggling as to how to do this. I have the Microhone in input one and the guitar in input two on my mixer. The problem that arrises is that both of these inputs record on the same track in logic and are not recorded as indivudal tracks. How do I make them record as indivudal tracks?
    Thanks,

Stop recording on a stereo track!
Record on two mono tracks, one set to Input 1,  the other set to Input 2

  • Rookie needs help recording DJ set through M-audio Firewire 410

Ok.... ive been reading through the forums and I still can't find help...
Im running GB 3 that came with my Macbook I bought about 4 months ago.
    I am a DJ and I trying to record a DJ set/demo.
What I use to DJ is Pioneer cdj-800 x2 and a Pioneer DJM400 using Rane Serato Scratch through my Mac.
    I recently bought an M-Audio Firewire 410.
I installed all necessary drivers from m-audio's website (i bought it on ebay so it did not come with the install cd).
I connect the Maudio into the Mac as instructed and set all my inputs/outputs in prefs to the m audio.
The record out of my mixer is via rca so i bought an rca to 1/4" cable. The rca going into my mixer and the 1/4" is going into the first "mic/inst" on the interface.
I created a real instrument track on a new project in GB and set the input to channel 1 (mono).
I play a track..... no sound. nothing at all. i tried the inputs in the back of the firwire and played with the gains. still nothing. i am getting a little frustrated here as you can imagine.
I would really appreciate if someone could walk me through this or at least point me in the right direction.
    Thanks a ton in advance.

Perhaps you may need to reinstall the driver again from the M-audio website. The newest drivers don't work well but if you're running the newest OSX 10.4.10 then you have no choice but to use the newest drivers. When installing the new driver, do not have the 410 hooked up to the computer. After it is installed, shut down the computer. Hook up the 410, then turn the computer on, make sure teh 410 is power button is on as well. Once you're computer is up and running, open up the m-audio mixer application that comes with the driver. on the top right-hand corner is a reset button. Click that and a there will be a popup asking if you want to reset, say reset. Next open up system preferences and check the sound. Select the 410 for input and output. You have to also do this again in garagebands prefs. Test your audio out by playing a song through itunes or something. Hope it works.

  • Recording and listening through a TD20 module

Hello I am new to the forum and to logic express. I am trying to listen to music through my Roland TD20 module while recording the drumming I am performing. I am not sure if there is an easy way to put this. I would like to take a song (any song) and edit out the drum parts, play that back through my TD20 module where my headphones are plugged in, then record back the drums I am playing while listening to everything. I am using a MIDIsport UNO usb by M-Audio and right now I do not have logic express and would purchase it if I can perform these functions.
    Thank you for any assistance.

really what I would like to do is get the output from the mac to the TD20. Garageband does not do this. Will I have better luck with Logic Express 8? Can I import music into Logic that I can modify? This is all for practice for me.
