Redirect on image click

I have a report on a page. In that report I am displaying an image using an SQL Statement. I want to redirect to another page when the user clicks on the image. I have tried creating a link under "Column Link" for this image but when I do that and run the report, image is not even displayed anymore.

On the column attributes -> HTML EXPRESSION

I have done everything described but nothing has helped. It has nothing to do with the Type Tool, but with the new rendering. It occurs every time I want to insert a picture into the text flow. There is no workaround and the whole feature is completely broken.
UPDATE: I have found out that it only occurs when I use the method via alt-clicking the anchor icon and dragging the cursor into the text. (Quick anchoring introduced in CS6) When I copy and paste the image frame into the text, it does not crash.

I suddenly started getting redirected when I click on my Firefox icon. Page says "Paypal and Firefox Simple promotion!" Paypal says it isn't theirs. I can't seem to get past this. I am afraid this a Trojan redirect or keystroke copier.

this is where the button is for the url I was originally trying to get too.

How can I redirect an image path outside a Web Application ?

I think this is a quite simple question but I didn't find the precise answer on these forums.
I've deployed a WLP test portal 8.1, whose URL is http://host:7001/portalApp/, and my images are located here http://host:7001/portalApp/images/
In fact in my portal, a javascript located on another server references an URL which is http://host:7001/images/image.gif (I can't modify the script, but it takes the root /images/ path of the current server)
On the Weblogic server I would like to redirect the path /images to my /portalApp/images in order to display correctly the image.
I don't want to setup an Apache server just for this, and I believe there's an easier solution than to write a redirect servlet. I've red it is possible to modify the application.xml context-root but I don't know what to do precisely, I tried this :

Why do i get redirected when I click on search link If I hit the back button and click on the link again It was allow me to go there

I use Google to search I click on the link and I get redirected to some other page I click on my back button and re click on the link and it will the allow me to go the link. it does this to me 40% of the time and I know the links that I'm click on a a known good link cause I used them before I just have not save them to my bookmarks

Can anyone tell me how to upload a url to an image onto facebook the way you could with a pc. Recently switched over to Mac and this is one thing I can't seem to figure out. Basically in Windows you could right click on an image, click copy the image url

I've recently switched over to a Mac and before in Windows on a pc if you wanted to post an image on facebook you would right click the image you found on the post you wanted to share, then click copy url. You'd simply take that url and put it into the facebook post when uploading an image and that's all. Can not seem to find a way to do it now, other than saving the image to the computer and then uploading that which is not what I want to do. I've searched and searched but can't seem to find a solution other then posting in Parallels Window.
Any suggestions??

Thanks brody, I had been able to do that but on my business fb page I often post images and put in the links myself in the descriptions. In Windows you're able to post images by simply pasting in the url but on the Mac I'd have to download someone's image which I'm not comfortable doing so I find myself switching back and forth between the Mac and Windows.

I keep getting redirects if I click on a link. If I click the same link with open in new tab or window it opens fine.

I get redirects always in current open page. If I click a link and say open in new tab or new window it does not redirect. I've noticed explorer is now advertising built in software to eliminate someone hijacking their browser. If I have to keep searching for tools to clean registry's and browser issues -- I may have to switch back to Explorer or Chrome. Lately my Firefox which I'm most used to is driving me nuts... Roll over to view larger image, click to select

Which combined server behaviors or technologies would allow
me to create a dynamic image gallery of thumbnails that when you
roll over any thumbnail image (images are populated via repeat
region recordset behavior), you can view a larger image. Selecting
a thumbnail would select the larger image version.
I do not need to know how to create the thumbnail images
(this would be achieved via aspjpeg with a repeat region applied to

OK so I'm almost there! A little more help if it's not too much trouble.
I've used the "mouse-over to enlarge" example and it seems to be working.
The images sit together top left (ie. the larger image appears over the top of the smaller image and both top left corners of the images sit in the same x and y position - it appears to grow to the right and down!). Can I change this so that the images sit in the same position bottom right and the image grows bigger, up and right?
Alternatively if it's easier I could do "mouse-over and click", but I need the click to open my image in a new window, sized to the image (so I can still see the main page in the original browser window).

Exporting data view Report in reporting services to excel using an image click

We have a report created in reporting services and on the initial page we have a clickable image that opens excel and exports the date to our spreadsheet. This doesn't work when trying it from outside the network. I there a way to get this to work externally.

If I understand correctly, you want to export to excel when you click an image in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) or Report Builder. As far as I know, it is not support in SSRS.
In SSRS, we can add go to URL action to add parameter in the URL to work around the issue. As you’re mentioned above, we need deploy the report to report server to achieve the effect.

Passing values to next page on Update image click?

Hi Everyone,
I have developed one OAF page which has onw table data to show. The last column is Update Image icon.
Columns are like this: Eno, enmae, comm, address, salary, update.
On clicking on update icon on any row the corresponding Eno and Ename should be passed to next Update page and these two values has to be displayed on teh Update page.
How can i do that?

PPR event on Update Image would do the magic for you.
Go to the properties of the Image icon and select below
1) Action Type : fireAction
2) Event : updateEmp (This event needs to be captured in the page CO)
3) Parameters :
a)pEmpNo : ${oa.current.EmpNoID} (EmpNoID is the view attribute for Employee Number. You keep proper name of your VO attribute here)
b)pEmpName : ${oa.current.EmpName} (EmpName is the view attribute for Employee Name. You keep proper name of your VO attribute here)
c) Add more parameters if you want to pass maore
4) In processFormRequest of the page catch the event 'updateEmp' and forward to the next page

File browsing based on image clicked

i'm becoming familiar with the File class, but i'm learning
very slowly and its difficult not to get frustrated. basically what
i want to do is be able to click on a map of different counties and
depending on which county is click, bring up an appropriate file
browser. so basically, the way i see it is that i need to take the
image and create hotspots on it. when a user clicks on that
hotspot, an event will be triggered to open the corresponding
folder. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Is there a way to attach event with the image inside html
text in TextArea control. Just like we can attach text event with
link tag?
One possible solution is to enclose the image in <A>
tag making it a link and setting its href to generate text event. I
have already tried this and it works fine. But is there any other
way to do that.

Here is how you handle double click events in Textedit control.
1)Create a custom control in screen (say TEXT_CONTROL)
2)In main program,
a) Declarations:
data: obj type ref to cl_gui_custiom_control.
 text type ref to cl_gui_textedit.
b) Create the instance of custom container
c) Create the instance of textedit control.
3)Now to handle double click events , create a local class as follows.
class shail_event definition.
public section.
methods:
handle_doubleclick for event dblclick of cl_gui_textedit .
endclass.
class shail_event implementation.
method handle_doubleclick .
here do the coding for handling the double click.
endmethod.
endclass.
4) Create an instance of the handler class(ie.ZSHAIL_EVENT).Let it be named hand.
5) Define varibles for event.
DATA: i_events TYPE cntl_simple_events,
 wa_events TYPE cntl_simple_event.
SET HANDLER hand->handle_doubleclick for text.
wa_events-eventid = cl_gui_textedit=>event_double_click.

Why are I being redirected everytime I click on a search link

When ever I click on a search link from my search results I am being redirected to some kind of ad or inappropriate website. This began this morning after Firefox installed it's updates

im learning java and i just want to know a few things that i cant seem to find any where so if anyone can show me any links that can help that would be nice

The Robot class provides the basics of this functionality. It can provide screen captures and 'do clicks' at any point on the screen as specified to the methods. The tricky bit is the Java program knowing where and when to click. I guess for that you are going to need to get screen shots at regular intervals, and compare the screen shots for changes, to detect 'an image'.
and checking a list of pre-defined imagesHuhh? What does that mean in your head? It means nothing to me.
As an aside. This is not a trivial or simple project (the little that I do understand of it).

Getting Redirect issue when clicked on CR controls after session expiry

Dear Experts,
I have a issue in my ASP.NET and crystal reports and the scenario is as follows:
I have implemented some reports in my my ASP.NET page. If the page is left alone for 15 mins (assuming 15 mins is configured as session time out), and then click on any buttons in the crystal report control tool bar (like export, navigate and etc), I am getting the following error.
Response.Redirect from inside an asynchronous callback method
I get this error beacuse in my base class I check for validity of the session and do a redirect to home page using Response.Redirect() when the session in invalid. This code apparently fails as crystal report make a asynchronous call to the page when the toolbar is clicked.
I got some links from other sites suggesting to add some java scripts to the response stream and etc. It did not work for me.
I am sure some one would have faces this issues and got a fix for this. If so, please share with me

Not sure. The only thing that comes to mind is to check for the session variable to see if its still alive in the Page_Init. You might be able to trap it early enough there.
Other than that, I doubt this can be resolved in these forums and I'd recommend creating a phone case here:
