Reg: Port details FOR XI

Hi all
Actaullay one of my XI server has different port for runtimeworkbench and SLD and also different port for INTEGRATION BUILDER.
Could anyone let me know the default ports for all in XI? and also please explain the concept behind this(i.e) why it has different ports for different components
Waiting for solution

Port in XI
Assumin your instance number is 00
ABAP Port : 8000
JAVA Port: 50000
What is to be undwerstand here is the role of your port here, if you want to acess any Xi component residing on the Java stacj you will use 50000, since SLD and rwd are on the java stack you cannot have different port to acess them.
similary for ABAP Stack 8000 is used.....
inaddition to this you will also have the trfc Port for IDOC communication port,
you can check the abap port by SMICMgotoservices......

  • Reg: Costing details for PP point of view

    Dear SAP Gurus
    I am balaji
Now i am in post go live support project
For our client, we recommend Repetitive manufacturing process
Order : Planned order consumption thro back flush MFBF.
Costing : We have parameter, formulaes, primary and secondary cost element, cost center, profit center
    and product cost collector.
then the cost will flow thro work center ->routings->BOM---> Planned Order.
Now they are not running the costing run every month. Then In which way the cost will be calculated for all materials
And also could you please explain me the details about the costing plan and costing run and costing configuration for PP point of view.
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks & Regards
    VBalaji

    Dear Surya
    Thanks for your reply.
i checked okkn , in that following details are available
    costing varient:pc01:  control 1
    costing type: std cst estimate
    valuation varient:planned val
    date control:std cost estimate month
qty structure: BOM/Routing  (They select the "ignore prod cost est w/o qty structure" option)
    In REM profile :
    control data 1
    cost accounting section:
they select option:"using data from prelim costing from prod cst collector."
Now i come to the question, here for the past 6 months they are not running costing run.
in which way the prices are getting updated.
Atleast, they run first time , is it? they didn't run.
Now how can i check the updated cost. bcas on weekly basis all componunt's prices are changing here.
could you please tell me the way of costing here, if you need furthur details, please tell me.

  • Reg: Method to get the apache port details ?

    Team,
We are developing OAF custom page with inline report.
From this inline report , we have a requirement to navigate to another OAF page.
For navigating to another OAF page we need to mention the total hyperlink, we are able to get the host name details but could not get the port details.
    Ex : Host Name: dev1.xxtempel.com
    Please provide your thoughts.
    Regards
    Sridhar

I don't think dynamically we can obtain the port number , how ever you can frame the URL using java concurrent program .

    Hi,
AFAIK this information is not stored in the database, appart from a fiew that are in the OADM table (PorName, RpdName, PdnName...). I think that this info is stored in a C++ library (don´t remember the name now).
Perhaps if you ask what the objetive is we could help you with a workaround.

  • How do you set up Port Forwarding for ARD 2.2 in AEB N?

    Help,
I'm a novice at Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) - not an IT guy, so it has to be pretty basic and detailed.
How do you set up Port Forwarding for ARD 2.2 on the Apple Airport Extreme BS router, 802.11 N. I have one at each end of the internet connection. At one end I have an Airport Extreme N router with 2 macs and eventually 1 windows XP machine (if I can) that I would like to be able to connect to over the interenet (the clients) and at the other end, I have a Mac with ARD 2.2 installed also with an Airport Extreme N router. Note: Both routers use Static IP addresses and all computers use static IP's internally not through DHCP. What are the settings or directions to do this.
I have read and printed out the directions for Configuration of ARD 3.0 that are posted many times in the ARD discusion group, but it uses a Linksys router ( http://www.starkpr.com/ard.htm posted by Dave Sawyer). The Mac router is different, particularly with the place to set a Private IP address. I'm not sure about alot of things, but especially about the Private IP address, what number do I set it to, the one that is in my Network connections list? It automatically changes to a different number in AE N setup for Port Forwarding (by one) as if it is not suppose to the same?????
Are there any directions available that are as straight forward for the Airport Extreme N router, as the one's that are listed here for the Linksys Router's? ( http://www.starkpr.com/ard.htm )
Any and All help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I know I should have 3.0 but bought 2.2 just weeks before 3.0 came out and they would not give me an upgrade price, so I'm waiting for 4.0 to upgrade.
    Thanks,
    Jim

Try the following for each AirPort Extreme ...
    AEBSn - Port Mapping Setup
To setup port mapping on an 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn), either connect to the AEBSn's wireless network or temporarily connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to one of the LAN port of the AEBSn, and then use the AirPort Utility, in Manual Setup, to make these settings:
    1. Reserve a DHCP-provided IP address for the host device.
    Internet > DHCP tab
o On the DHCP tab, click the "+" (Add) button to enter DHCP Reservations.
o Description: <enter the desired description of the host device>
o Reserve address by: MAC Address
    o Click Continue.
o MAC Address: <enter the MAC (what Apple calls Ethernet ID if you are using wired or AirPort ID if wireless) hardware address of the host computer>
    o IPv4 Address: <enter the desired IP address>
    o Click Done.
    2. Setup Port Mapping on the AEBSn.
    Advanced > Port Mapping tab
o Click the "+" (Add) button
o Service: <choose the appropriate service from the Service pop-up menu>
    o Public UDP Port(s): 3283
    o Public TCP Port(s): 3283
o Private IP Address: <enter the IP address of the host server>
    o Private UDP Port(s): 3283

  • Port Forwarding for L2TP/IPSec VPN Behind Verizon Actiontec MI424WR-GEN2 Rev. E v20.21.0.2

I've got a NAS setup with various services running on custom ports to help minimize exposure (especially to script kiddies). I've tested everything both internally and externally to confirm they all work, and even had someone at a remote location confirm accessibility as well.  Port forward configurations performed on the Actiontec are working well.
I installed an L2TP/IPSec VPN server, tested internally and it connected successfully.  So for all intents & purposes, this validates that the VPN server is correctly configured to accept inbound connections and functioning correctly.
I logged into the Verizon Actiontec MI424WR router, setup port forwarding for UDP ports 500, 1701 & 4500.
Note: I added the AH & ESP protocols based on what I saw on the built-in L2TP/IPSec rules
With the port forwarding in place, I tested VPN externally but it didn't connect.
I've done the following so far to no avail:
Double & triple checked the port forwards, deleted & recreated the rules a few times to be sure
There are no other pre-existing L2RP/IPSec port forward rules or otherwise conflicting port forward rules (e.g.: another rule for ports 500, 1701 or 4500)
There was an L2TP port triggering rule enabled, that I toggled on and off with no change
Verified the firewall on VPN server had an exclusion for L2TP, or that the firewall is off. (Firewall is off to reduce a layer of complexity, but it worked internally to begin with so I doubt that's the issue.)
Since it works internally, and there are no entries in the logs on the device indicating inbound connections, I'm convinced its an issue with the Verizon Actiontec router.  But unfortunately, I'm not sure what else to try or where else to look to troubleshoot this.  For instance, is there a log on the router that I can view in real time (e.g.: tail) that would show me whether or not the inbound connection attempt is reaching the device, and whether or not the device allowed or blocked it?
    My router details:
    Verizon Actiontec
    MI424WR-GEN2
    Revision E
    Firmware 20.21.0.2
Verizon Actiontec built-in L2TP/IPSec rule templates.  They're not currently in use, but are baked into the firmware for easy configuration/selection from a drop down menu.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

normally a vpn on that router, will have a GRE tunneling protocol as well.
two ways to build the PF rules,
    Manually
    Preconfigured
I know the preconfigured VPN rules will do the GRE protocol as well, but if you do it by hand you can't get it.

  • Not enough port fields in port forwarding for Linksys E4200

I have always used netgear routers in the past. After a series of issues regarding configurations not working correctly I invested in what appeared to be a semi pro router, the cisco linksys e4200.
I have a centralized server which I use to access a mass of different services such as mail, dns, VPN, FTP, Kerberos, http and many more. While I am not a massive networking nerd, this server setup is like my garage project. To access these services externally to my LAN as far as I understand I would need to configure port forwarding for each service to my server. Unfortunately the control panel for the linksys E4200 only offers about 15 custom port fields for forwarding, and some documentation I have read shows that with it's basic install my server could be using up to 60 ports at once.
Is this router just not suitable for this sort of network. If so I will be very disappointed because I have spent a quarter of the price on netgear routers with more control than this.
If anybody could assist with details and options I would greatly appreciate it

Wrong forum, use "small business routers".

  • AS2 adpater-- Configuration details for both SND and RCV.

    Hi All,
I need some details for both AS2 sender and receiver adapter.
    Sender AS2 adapter :
    1. Use Proxy
          Use Authentication
Which one we need to use?
    2. what is this Proxy Realm or Authentication Realm??
    3. Whether we need to enable Hostname check & HTTP keep alive? what is the purpose of these settings?
    4. what is this Message subject ?? the content of this comes from the file name or file data?
    5. Server certificate and private key authentication?? do we need to get these from partner system??
    Receiver AS2 adapter :
    1. Here also  the same question when we need to use Proxy settings and when we need to use Authentication settings.
    2. Dynamic attributes??
         Use dynamic attributes
         Use non-empty attributes.
What are the information we need to ask partner system to get the connection??
Please reply if anyone worked on these AS2 settings.
    Thank You.
    Regards
    Krupakar.

    hi..
    Sender Adapter..
1.You can use both use proxy and use authentication.depends upon the requirement.
when you use proxy you have to give proxy server name and all parameters. That means proxy server acts like your actual server. To pass this data through  the AS2 apdapter U hv to specify th following parameters.
Proxy Server : Your proxy server.
Proxy Port :The port of the proxy server.
Proxy User: User for optional authentication.
Proxy Password: Password for optional authentication.
Proxy Realm: Realm for optional authentication.
    2. REALM
A realm is a part of Yanel which has its own configuration and repository. This allows you to run several subsites (which are independent of one another) in a single Yanel instance. For example, each department in your company can have its own realm. This allows one department to use its database as a content repository and another to use the filesystem to provide the content to Yanel
So proxy realm means u r authorized to use the proxy server
You use Use Authentication for -
    >Used to enable/disable basic authentication.
Use Authentication Used to enable/disable basic authentication.
    User: User for basic authentication.
    Password: Password for basic authentication.
    Realm: Realm for basic authentication.
    3. if u check these options for the following purpose.
SSL Hostname Check: Validate common name with server name.
HTTP Timeout:Timeout in seconds for waiting for server
    response.
4.Message Subject: This subject will be compared with the subject in the received message. This is used to find the
correct channel for the inbound message. Wildcards are allowed. Its the file data.
    5. Your partne rwill provide u these details.
    Receiver Adapter:
1.If u use the same in sender side then u hv to verify it again in the receiver system. Then only the communication is established.
3.u must have the AS2ID and the certificates.
    THAnks

    reward points if helpful.

  • NAT configuration and Port Mapping for xBox

I'm looking for help with port mapping to open up the NAT for an xBox One. I'm working with the following network devices:
    xBox One
DSL Modem: Embarq (ZyXEL) 660R series
    Airport Extreme version 7.7.3
I understand the following from researching the issue:
The default settings for both devices block the ports needed for xBox Live.
Airport Extremes are not on the compatible list for xBox.
Port Mapping is better then creating a DMZ for the xBox.
The xBox needs its own manually set IP address.
I switched my Network>Router Mode from Off (Bridge Mode) to DHCP and NAT. I then created a DHCP Reservation and the Port Settings for that IP.
After doing this, the Airport would restart and display a warning - Double NAT. I figured this was because the 660 settings showed the NAT Mode to be SUA Only. The Edit Details link displayed an empty table where you edited the SUA/NAT Server Set. I switched from NAT Mode>SUA Only to None. So there was my Double NAT and I would have thought that would have removed one.
I also disabled the Firewall and Enabled the UPnP.
After restarts the Airport continued to display the Double NAT error. However, with the 660's NAT Mode set to None, the Internet was not there. Web browsers and email accounts replied with server not found.
Only with the 660 set to SUA Only and the Airport in Bridge Mode is the Internet accessible. I now have the details for the SUA filled out for the xBox's IP address and ports.
    Hypothesis
Since both devices are acting as DHCP servers the port mapping is not working. Rather then have the 660 distribute IP addresses and then having the Airport distribute another range of numbers, I need to have both devices bridge and distribute one range of numbers. Currently the 660 is using the 192.168 range and the Airport is using the 10.0 range.
Am I correct? Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Port forwarding through a double NAT.. is near impossible.. !!
And the xbox is so attuned to using UPNP it is very hard not to.. even port mapping is not a great fix. Since apple decided gamers did not count as users for Airports.. I think honestly it is best to bypass the airport and stick to upnp from the modem router.
What method of authentication does your ISP use? Because it is really better to use one router.
And in fact the router should be the Zyxel. If you plug the Xbox to the Zyxel running in full router mode, with the airport removed from the network does it work and open NAT??
If not replace the Zyxel with a modern listed router that is xbox compatible and bridge the airport to it.

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ?
    Please go through this ->
In PPOMABBP, your purch org must be defined under (or at the same level as) a company. This company org id (defined in function tab) will be used to read address and use it as "contact" addresse._
    PO output
Reg Output medium in Purchase order.
Also, try adding a default printer in the organizational plan (PPOMABBP) or to add a printer in the BP address._
You can look at transaction bbp_po_action_def to understand how it is done for setting output medium.

  • Port unification for OpenMQ

According to the web log of Jean-Francois Arcand, Glassfish supports port unification:
    http://weblogs.java.net/blog/jfarcand/archive/2006/11/one_port_to_rul.html
In this way, it is possible to use the same port both for HTTP and IIOP.
This is done using a specific ProtocolFinder and a ProtocolHandler.
Is there any port unification support for embedded OpenMQ broker, i.e. could I redirect somehow all OpenMQ connections to my HTTP port to the intra-VM OpenMQ-broker? I wonder whether OpenMQ 4.4 could do this more easily due to the embedded more support.
    Cheers, Jörg

So if someone wants to break this compatibility, he/she could do it.
However if this doesn't make MQ 4.4 (Glassfish v3), we should have something by v3.1Hmmm, this a bit late... GF v3 already has generalized the concept of http-listeners to network-listeners.These listeners could be considered as part of the GF v3 infrastructure.
How do the OpenMQ 4.4 changes help here? Is there anything which could be done by me, e.g.
    - using a Sun support contract
    - developing something myself?

How performant is OpenMQ over HTTP (using the dedicated servlet) compared to e.g. using a end-less HTTP response stream?
