Reg: Vendor E-mail address transfer in ALE

Hi Gurus,
We are currently in a process to transfer vendor master and customer master to GTS system(SAP system)
so i have implemented change pointers for this. in BD53 i have done reduction as well .
i don't want the e-mail field to be sent to GTS system. but it is still moving to GTS system.
can anybody advice me , how to prevent this?
Thanks in advance
S.Janagar

Adresses and emails are stored in central address managment tables.
The part of address that you see in vendor IDOC is just the part that can be seen in LFA1 table.
To transport the address from central address managment you have to use IDOC ADRMAS
see OSS note 384462 - Master data and addresses

Guys, Sorry for being persistant with this issue. I only have data in test environment and screen debugging is not allowed in that environment at the moment so I can easly break-point when I save the message in Me22N. I can kick in the debugging session using /H but then it a hell of a long step through to try and find where the vendors e-mail address is being retrieved. Someone mentioned that it should be in the NAST itab somewhere, but where I look at that there seems to be no vendor e-mail address being shown.
My problem is that some of our vendors have multiple e-mail addresses and so I need to somehow control which of these should be used as the default is incorrect.
Has anyone had a similar experience and if so what area code did you change/enhance?
In much need of help on this one.
    Jas

    Hello Mallik,
The starndard SAP functionality will use vendor's default email ID when you trigger email for purchase order. so I will suggest you to create one distribution list (take help from network guy/ admin which will include all email addresses of the vendor and mention this email address in vendor master record.
    Hope this will help.

  • Vendor e-mail address

For vendor e-mail address, I cannot find the field in table LFA1, can anyone tell me which table this information is held in? In XK03 all our vendors have the e-mail address field populated
    Thanks

    Hi Prakash,
Vendor E Mail address will be stored in the Table ADR6, go and check in that.
    Your problem will be solved.

  • User exit to change vendor e-mail address used for PO output via e-mail...

We have two vendor e-mail addresses for a particular vendor. Ignoring output determination, it looks like I will need to control which of the two e-mail vendor addresses is used when the PO is output via e-mail.
The default is the first one e-mail address, but for PO's I would like to force the second vendor e-mail address.
There are tonnes of exits available for PO output by the looks of it so I am trying to discover which is relevant for what I am trying to achieve.

    Thanks Martin,
I guess that's the same path that I took earlier when using SPRO and looking at the Purchasing->Messages. In my case it's ZMEDRUCK, but that does not help me in regards to controlling the vendors e-mail address being used. When sending the PO as an e-mail it uses (by default) the first e-mail address of the Vendor, whereas the vendor could have multiple ones. In my test case my vendor has two addresses but it always defaults to using the first. I know that I need to modify this behaviour somehow, but how I have no idea as I can find no Exit routine.

  • Can I transfer/migrate my mail address book from my old G5 OS 10.4.11 to a new Maverick 10.9.4 ?

Can I transfer/migrate my mail address book from my old G5 OS 10.4.11 to a new Maverick 10.9.4 ?

Thank you so much! I actually need help transferring my old address book with all my contacts and their e-mail addresses. I had trouble setting up mail so I used my internet provider's webmail to send and receive mail, but that is fixed now.
If I have to manually enter each contact, I'll do that, but it sure would be nice if there was a way to transfer the address book.
    Thanks again.

  • How do I transfer my e-mail addresses from AOL to Firefox?

I would like to switch my ISP from AOL to Firefox. How can I transfer all of my e-mail addresses, and favorites, without having to re-enter them one at a time?

Thunderbird is the email client from Mozilla & Firefox is the browser from Mozilla.. Neither Mozilla nor Firefox are ISP's.. Thunderbird will hold your address book & Firefox holds your favorites or bookmarks.. Think of it in terms of automobiles & Mozilla is FMC & Thunderbird is one auto model & Firefox is another auto model under the umbrella of the Ford Motor Company or FMC.. The ISP = Internet Service Provider would be AOL, Cable Co, ATT etc they are the gas for the auto..

  • How do I transfer Yahoo e-mail addresses to the Contact app?

How can I transfer my e-mail addresses from my Yahoo address book to the Contact app on the main screen of the iPod touch? If I go into my Yahoo mail on the iPod, the addresses are there but if I click directly on the Contacts app on the main screen it's blank. I'm just setting up my new IPod touch and I've read and re-read the synch directions over and over but other than just plugging it in there's nothing that tells me HOW to move the addresses to the "Contact app" where I'd like to be able to access them from. I'm thinking there must be a better way than to enter everything manually...
Thanks in advance for your help!

Now I have and it worked perfectly!!! Thanks very much. When I went into the iTunes the first time, I missed all the tabs across the top of that screen. For a beginner, the whole iTunes thing is way to busy! My opinion ofcourse. Thanks again!

  • Transfer e-mail addresses from Internet Explorer to Thunderbird

I have been using Internet Explorer and AT&T for all on-line uses including e-mail.
I am admittedly somewhat novice, so I need someone to "walk" me through the process of getting all my e-mail addresses transferred over to Mozilla and Thunderbird. Please help!

I think you will need to go the AT&T website, open your email account there and look for an option to export your address book to one or more files.
Thunderbird's Address Book can use LDIF, CSV and vCard (.vcf) formats. CSV ("comma separated values") is probably the most likely candidate. If it lets you export a whole address book to a vcf file, that may be the cleanest option. You may need an add-on:
    https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html
to be able import the vcf file into Thunderbird.
CSV works, but there is always a mismatch between field names and their locations. The import tool in Thunderbird lets you re-order and re-align the imported data to suit its own address book data fields, but the process is not obvious or intuitive. Another gotcha is that it imports only a limited number of fields (20 IIRC) so you may need to be selective in what you select for importation.
See the bit about Address Books here:
    http://www.ramsden.org.uk/11_Thunderbird_Settings_and_the_Profile.html
Pay attention to where the email addresses themselves go; often they end up in the "nickname" field and so don't appear in Thunderbird when it's asked to suggest or list your Contacts.

  • E-mail addresses don't transfer from Windows Contacts to 3GS i phone

In preparation for my new i phone 3GS I completed all details in Windows Contacts. On syncing using Itunes, via cable connection, all names, addresses and phone numbers were transferred but none of the e-mail addresses. Yet I can now enter a new contact in Windows Contacts and all the info, including the e-mail address is transferred to the phone. Similarly I can add the e-mail addresses direct to the i phone for my existing contacts and they remain on both the phone and Windows Contacts after syncing without any problem. I don't however relish typing all my e-mail addresses into the i phone. Can anyone help please. (In case it's relevant I previously had an o2 xda Zest operating Windows Mobile 6.1 which I may have synchronised at some time using Windows Mobile Device Centre but latterly this hadn't worked so I merely connected using the xda as a storage device)

Can you clarify what your question was ? Its a bit hard to figure out.

  • I have entererd the wrong E-mail address for my £15iTunes gift card, how can i get my code back so i can put it on the right account?

i entered the wrong E-mail address when it asked me for my Apple ID, now my card is useless and i dont have the £15 credit i paid for, i was wondering, if i gave you the code, would you be able to trace what address i typed in (Which will be similar to the one i have now) and would you be able to transfter the £15 credit onto my account?
I can send you the code if you like?
    Many thanks, James Cummings.

First, you're not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. The only people who will respond are fellow users and there's nothing we can do directly with this problem.
But I can tell you that if you redeemed the card through the wrong iTunes Store ID, then sorry, but there's no way to transfer credit from one account to another. You'll have to use the iTunes Store ID under which you redeemed the card to make your purchases. You would not have been able to redeem the card through another account unless you had the password to that account, though, so you may not have actually successfully redeemed the card. Have you tried to redeem it through your "real" iTunes Store account?

  • How to set up a new apple e-mail address when already have an existing Apple ID

    Hello
Thank you for taking a look at my query - I have searched many posts but not found a specific answer to my question - so please help!
    My dilemma:
I am in effect running everything smoothly - I am already on iCloud and have an @me.com mail address.
The problem arises in that I need to change my name (due to a divorce) and hence my e-mail address -  I would like to use my maiden name for obvious reasons!
    So what have I tried?:
I have set up a new Apple ID using a 'hotmail' address, as you need an existing address to set an ID, but would actually like a new 'apple' address. How do I do this? Since I have registered all my devices (iMac, iPad 3 and iPhone 3GS) with iCloud already using my married name ID it seems I am unable to get another appleID? Is this true? Is there a way around this?
    Concerns:
I have many communications with lawyers and ex and various other things I would like to keep on my existing apple ID/mail account (and also itunes etc) I still need to be able to access this information. I am happy to keep this  apple ID active at the same time as having the new ID if this is possible on all the same devices? Currently however I do not know how to do this, i.e. run two mail accounts through iCloud OR ideally transfer my info to the new ID - however from reading around I believe this latter (logical) option may be impossible?
    So:
... I need a knight (or maiden) in  shining armour to help me understand my options, answer the Q's above and provide the steps I have to follow to do this as I am no IT guru! And as there are many similar Qs without a clear answer I'm sure you will gain lots of points!
    Thanking you kindly in advance!
PS. Apple if you are reading this please can you do something about this situation as there seem to be many questions around this issue. Unfortunately divorce and name changes are a frequent part of life these days and it would be good if you can accommodate this!

OK, so I realised I was still within my 90days of being able to get support from Apple due to recent iPad3 purchase.
So between what I have gleaned from this forum and what I have learnt from the support call here I hope is a comprehensive one stop shop  answer to the question... "How do I get another Apple e-mail address ?" It's not straight forward but bear with me as you will get a result (also if anyone with IT prowess can offer further advice or clarification please do reply to this so we keep all info in the same place)... right -  we shall begin:
First a few points to bear in mind/wise words that I wish I was aware of before:
You preferably do not want more than one Apple ID so that syncing etc is straight forward. SO create an e-mail address that you will be happy to have no matter what, whether you are married/divorced (and yes it unfortunately could happen...) etc...
    So...
    1. First go to www.myinfo.apple.com, change your country as required and click on manage your account. Log-in. Should go straight to your Name, ID and e-mail tab.
    2. OK you are now presented with one of two scenarios....
    a) If your AppleID and primary e-mail address  is a me.com (or mac.com) then you are unlikely to have an edit option next to this line - follow point 3. Another ID has to be generated, and unfortunately (as Winston Churchill above rightly pointed out, the problem that you will have on the whole is that any purchases you make from the iTunes Store under your previous account, will be inaccessible on many of your devices. - IF however all you wanted is a new e-mail address and you are happy to keep running your old ID at the same time - there is a way around this .... read on to point 3)
    b) If your AppleID and primary e-mail address is not a me.com (or mac.com) then - follow point 4. This is the better option to have, hop skip and jump with glee as you will in effect have the same ID account and syncing will not be an issue. But note that your new ID will not be editable going forward so head my words of wisdom above.
NB. If you already have more than one ID and one of the 'Apple ID and primary e-mail' is editable i.e. 2b) then choose this option to change as it is simpiler to manage.
    3. OK lots of steps here and explanations:
    i) You need to create another Apple ID - there are two ways of doing this a) if you go to your iphone or ipad settings > iCloud > delete your account (Don't worry you are effectively only signing out and not deleting) (you'll be given an option what to do with your contacts) > The page will then give you an option to create a new Apple ID.... follow the steps, and you will get a new me.com  AppleID and primary e-mail address.
    b) If you do not have an iphone or ipad - use your computer: Go to sytem preferences > icloud > sign out of account (again you will be given an option to keep contacts on the computer etc. do what is appropriate for you). An iCloud window  should then pop up - and there is an option to 'Create an Apple ID'... follow the steps, in 2nd step (after date of birth input)  go for the free iCloud  option and do not use an existing e-mail address (e.g. hotmail or gmail)... as it then gets more complicated (I did go down this route as I didn't know any better - so I can explain if you wish to know - just ask) - continue with the steps and you will get a new me.com AppleID and primary e-mail address.
ii) Now assuming you have an itunes account and other devices... and you will want to sync everything across devices... then ensure you log back into your OLD account and use this as your main  account on all devices. This will keep all things synced between devices with no problems.
iii) To get your new e-mail account active go to all your devices and computer and just add the new me.com address as another account:
    a) on iphone and ipad: settings > mail, contacts, calendars > "add account"
    b) on computer assuming you use mail: Mail>preferences>account information> hit the '+' under the left hand account box and fill in the details... You will then effectively have two mail boxes running in mail - your previous and new one. What I have noticed is that you can drag and drop (which will copy) mailboxes you created in your old account into your new account - which is great as you can keep the stored messages to hand and effectively you can taper down use of the old account (or use as you wish) over time and eventually not notice the old account is in the background.
Hey presto you have a new e-mail address AND your devices are syncing itunes, photostream etc...
    4) So - much better option....
    i) create a new Apple ID as per point 3i) above.
ii) go back to www.myinfo.apple.com, change your country as required and click on manage your account. Log-in with old ID. Under Apple ID and primary e-mail adress - click edit and now insert your new me.com Apple ID. This will now be both your ID and primary e-mail address. This is where my knowledge (gleaned from this Forum) stops on this option - as unfortunately it did not apply to me. But I think it will get you where you want!
Hope all this info helps rather than hinders!! It definitely would have helped me
    Enjoy.

  • I want to sync my I phone user name (my current e-mail address) with my iPad, PC user name (old e-mail address.) If I delete that current address in the iPhone, won't I also be deleting it in my other devices? They are synced. I don't want to lose it

I want to sync my I phone user name (my current e-mail address) with my iPad, PC user name (old e-mail address.) If I delete that current address in the iPhone, won't I also be deleting it in my other devices? They are synced. I don't want to lose it. I just want to get it out of the way on my iphone so it doesn't confuse the transfer of ID names and then I want it back again..      I tried deleting the cloud account, being told the current e-mails would be spared. But all it did was pop up a prompt asking me for the password to my still current email ID. So I assume now that I have to go to mail and get rid of the e-mail account. But I'm scared I'll lose everything in my other devices too.

You can change the email address you use as your apple ID. this doesn't mean you have to delete the old email address as email.
When you delete an email from your device, it is only removed from the device, it does not delete your emails or the email account.

  • I have been using my husband's apple id in my old PC. When I purchased a MacBook Pro, I created my own. Because I wanted to have access to my old purchases, I changed my husband's original ID's e-mail address to my e-mail address. Now I can't update s/w.

I have been using my husband's apple id in my old PC (ID A). When I purchased a MacBook Pro, I created my own Apple ID (ID B) and started using my laptop and updating the S/W with this ID.
Because I wanted to have access to my old purchases, I changed my Apple ID's e-mail to another e-mail that my husband uses (ID B->ID C).
Then I changed my husband's original Apple ID's e-mail address to my own e-mail address (ID A->ID B).
Now I can't update any s/w through the Apple Store and I get the message that "Sign in to **********@hotmail.com to update applications for that account.". The e-mail address is ID C. How can I associate my laptop in the AppStore with ID B which is the one that have all my purchased applications and contains my own e-mail address?
    I would appreciate your reply.
    Dimitra

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.
Content tied to an Apple ID are bound to that Apple ID forever. You can not merge or trade accounts. Well, not (officially) anyway...
